The low of student’s achievements were indicated because the students were not active and the teacher’s lack of skill. This condition needs a further research in order to improve the student’s achievement through cooperative learning type SAVI in impulse and momentum subject. The specific purposes of this research are to describe: 1) teacher’s skill, 2) the student’s achievements; 3) the students’ participation in the classroom; and 4) the students’ responses. These research were classroom action research that consists of 3 cycles. The instruments were used Lesson Plan, Worksheet, Evaluation Sheet, affective scoring sheet, teacher’s skill and student’s participation observation sheet, and the students’ response observation sheet. The data were acquired by the observation results, questionnaire, and documentation. The results of this research were: 1) The teacher’s skill was improved from 99.21% to 96% and 99.28%; 2) the students’ achievements including cognitive and affective aspects were improved from 81.46% to 88.1%, and 90.96%; 3) The participation of students in teaching and learning process were also increased from 63.67% to 84.43%, and 85.5% in cycle III, 4) the students’ responses during teaching and learning process were very good. According to the results, it can be concluded that the achievements of XI IPA-1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Jorong in learning impulse and momentum were improved after the treatment of cooperative learning model type SAVI.

This study is based on the problems that occur in IPS learning in class VIII-D students of SMPN 5 Bandung that is teacher-centered in the classroom and the ability of students to think high-order are still low. The alternative problem solving chosen is by applying the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) learning model. Based on the background, the formulation of this study problem is how the planning, implementation, implementation results and what are the obstacles of the learning model Means Ends Analysis in attempt to improve the ability of high-order thinking. Reviewing the problems to be studied in relation to the learning process, the author chose Classroom Action Research (PTK) with Kemmis and Taggart cycle model in 3 cycles with 12 actions. Implementation of learning by using learning model Means Ends Analysis in improving the ability of students high-order thinking are said to succeed. The improvement of high-order thinking ability of students can be seen from the development of aspects that becomeindicators of high-order thinking. All aspects of this indicator have evolved from cycle 1 to cycle 3, from which initially the quality is less, it is sufficient to improve. In conclusion, the implementation of learning model Means Ends Analysis can improve the ability of high-order thinking of students in IPS learning. This is supported by the achievement of all indicators in analyzing and evaluating. Both are in good categories and indicators to create are in enough category.

The study aimed to improve the learning activeness of fourth-grade students through the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model. This research design is qualitative research. The instrument of data collection uses observation of teacher and student activities and interviews. The results of the study indicate that: this learning model must form groups of 4 people. Then discuss with the group that has been determined. After discussing, two people from each group visited other groups to get information on the results of discussions from each group. While the task of two members who settled in their group must give the results of their discussion to other groups. The learning process using the learning model Two Stay Two Stray can improve the learning activeness of fourth-grade students of MIN 1 Probolinggo. By using this learning model, students become enthusiastic in learning and they are no longer passive because each individual has their respective duties, so this learning model is declared successful in increasing student learning activeness.

This class action research aims to describe the learning outcomes of students before participating in the learning process by using the discovery learning model, class IXA SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir on mathematics learning material on the Cone Volume; describe the learning activities of students as long as students follow the learning by using the discovery learning model, class IXA SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir on the learning of mathematics material Cone Volume; describe the improvement in student learning outcomes after students follow the learning process by using the discovery learning model, class IXA SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir on mathematics learning material Cone Volume. The design set in this study is classroom action research. In class action research in general there are four stages that are commonly passed, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The initial condition of students is when students have not received learning by using the Discovery Learning learning model. The initial data used is the data of students' daily test scores which are still low and many are incomplete from the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), which is equal to 51.72% of students not completing completeness. In the test results in the first cycle, students who reached KKM totaled 23 people with the highest score of 100 as many as 2 people and the lowest score of 65 as many as 6 people. From the results of the assessment conducted in the first cycle that is obtained a value of 65-71 with a frequency of 13 (44.84%), a value of 72-78 with a frequency of 5 (17.24%), a value of 79-85 with a frequency of 5 (17.24% ), a value of 86-92 with a frequency of 3 (10.34%), a value of 93-100 with a frequency of 3 (10.34%).

Cooperative Learning Model in Fashion Analysis Study and it’s Role in Increasing Student’sMotivation and Study Result, was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, going through four cycle in order to solve problem and until the problem is solved. The key incooperative learning is learning to collaborate in a cooperative group. When students study in group, anopen study atmosphere will be created in terms of partnership, because at that very exact moment acollaborative learning process will be born in a symbiotic personal relationship. And at that moment also, peer group and cooperative learning pattern will be developed. To experience happiness and sadness, failure and success together. Having responsible for everyone else in the group, besides the responsibilityfor themselves, in learning faced material. This situation will increase student’s motivation in FashionModel Analysis, particularly fashion pattern scattering.

There are challenges in teaching research methodology as highlighted by many researchers. Among the challenges are strategies for putting material in context. For achieving this purpose, students’ engagement in the learning process needs to be re-looked. This paper shares a practice in engaging students in a research methodology class. The practice aims to assist active learning among the students as informed by the constructivist learning theory. Specifically, a teaching philosophy focuses in applying The Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) is highlighted. An action research was conducted to investigate how the students learn a topic of research methodology within the practice of ZPD. The action research aims to bridge the gap between research and the practice of putting material in the context of learning. The findings of this study showed that students found research methodology a difficult subject, but they experienced good discussion and engaged themselves in the classroom discussion. The discussion assists them in recalling and memorising as well as creating more examples for the context of learning. Nevertheless, they need more meaningful materials to support their learning.
