This paper presents theoretical and practical aspects of remote work. The emergence of remote work is connected with the economic, political, social, cultural and technological changes of the turn of the 21st century. It offers a range of advantages, both to the employee and employer, hence its popularisation. During the pandemic, in March 2020, activity of individuals in Poland was restricted due to epidemiological considerations, which in terms of professional activity meant obligation or requirement of working from home. As a result, the percentage of employees working outside the premises of the employer in 2020 increased twice compared to 2019 As empirical studies show, the shift to remote work by a relatively numerous group of people reveals both advantages and disadvantages of this solution, both from the perspective of organisations and their staff. Remote work offers safety to employees and allows them to save on commuting time, but their work efficiency represents a controversial issue, as it is reduced by technical problems, lack of self-discipline or appropriate working conditions at home. From the point of view of the employer, it is difficult to control or manage the effects of the employee’s work if there is deficit of direct communication, especially in the case of organisations that did not employ such solutions earlier. An important aspect is the fact that a range of industries and professions cannot benefit from remote work. The secondary data reveal a picture of post-pandemic hybrid model of work, where the solutions of home office worked out during the last months will be used in conjunction with traditional ways of working in which communication with, management, motivation and control of employees is easier.

Introduction. The need to set up a private enforcement institute arose from the problem of enforcement of court decisions. The activities of state executors are clearly regulated, have experience and achievements. A private contractor is authorized by the state to carry out enforcement activities, but from an economic point of view, he is a self-employed person, which means that he is financially interested in the results of his work. The economic aspect of private contractor activity is not well understood to date. Methods. The study is based on the use of the historical and comparative method in determining the prerequisites for establishing an institute of private performers in Ukraine and in the world. A generalization method was used to determine general properties in the taxation of private contractors. The efficiency of the work and the feasibility of introducing a “private” element in the enforcement of court decisions was proved by the method of analysis. The method of grouping was used to determine the taxation base for the performance of private contractors. Results. The organizational and legal aspects of the activity of private contractors have been determined. The economic advantages and disadvantages of introducing the Institute of Private Performers are presented. The procedure for recognition of income and formation of costs of private contractors is outlined. It is proved inadmissible to identify the concepts of “costs of enforcement proceedings” and “costs of private executors”. The necessity of accounting and control of results of activity of private contractors is substantiated. Discussion. Prospects for further researches will be to develop recommendations for accounting for deposit accounts; accounts intended to be credited to enforcement proceedings; accounts intended to account for the principal and additional remuneration of private contractors; payroll calculations; payments with budget for taxes, fees, other required payments private artist revenue and expenses, etc. Keywords: enforcement proceedings, self-employed entities, private contractor, remuneration of private contractor, costs of enforcement proceedings, costs of private contractor, income of private contractor.

The article is devoted to the actual problem of psychological support of the transition of office workers to remote work. The purpose of the article is the definition of psychological and socio-demographic determinants of the activities of managers in the context of junior personnel transfer to virtual / home office. This problem is considered on the example of IT-professionals (n = 182) from four countries of Central and Eastern Europe. It is proved that the basic dispositional features that contribute to the realization of the activity potential are conscientiousness and openness to experience. Among the value orientations such predictors are the orientations towards competent and tolerant leadership. Another important thing is the value orientations of altruism and independence. The author makes conclusion that duing formation of uncertainty in their actions, individual personal traits play a great role, especially such traits as: ease of occurrence of negative emotions, individualism, preference for independence, disorganization, spontaneity, low level of purposeful behavior. Therefore, an orientation towards social support makes it difficult to implement an orientation towards quality in an activity and reinforces the lack of self-confidence feelings. It was revealed that under conditions of restructuration dispositional factors begin to play a major role, and the degree of value regulation decreases. In addition, the author suggests that a low level of integrity promotes creativity. This can be explained by the fact that an individual, who has such low level, remains open for longer to various possibilities of thought and action. The results of the analysis of the research data indicate that value orientations act as a kind of basis. They head the realization of the personal characteristics of a specialist in professional activity and they are important qualities in everyday life. In the article it is determined that the desire for success decreases in the specialists who get older, and the value orientations for support and leadership contribute to this aspiration. The author has shown that openness of experience, combined with tolerant leadership, is a prerequisite for determination in promoting organizational change.

The article examines the contradiction between the sharp increase in the number of remote workplaces and the difficulties in their organization experienced by both employers and their employees. This problem is enhanced by the fact that in scientific publications the issues of organization of remote workplaces with the modern digital environment, mass transition to the remote work in a pandemic are poorly understood. The authors present a review of currently available scientific research and publications, which confirmed the conclusion that, along with a deep study of the essence of remote work and remote jobs, their advantages and disadvantages, the reasons for their appearance, there is a shortage of research on the organization of remote jobs. The purpose of the research presented in the article was to study the state of the organization of remote workplaces in Russian enterprises. The research hypothesis is formulated as follows: despite the intensive development of the practice of remote workplaces, there are many difficulties and problems in their organization. The study uses methods of analyzing secondary data presented on the websites of various agencies, job search services and analytical centers; questionnaire survey at Omsk enterprises. There were interviewed remote employees (481 people) and their managers (253 people) at 206 enterprises of Omsk. As a result, the growth in the number of remote jobs at Russian enterprises was confirmed. This is evidenced by research presented on the websites of the Headhunter job search service, the NAFI analytical center, and the Hays international recruitment agency. A study at the Omsk enterprises have demonstrated the existence of problems in organization of remote workplaces, for example, in equipping remote workplaces, in irregular work schedules and blurring the boundaries between work and personal life, in the lack of effective communication and social isolation of employees, in the lack of understanding of employees' career prospects. The study was conducted in the period from November 2019 to February 2020. With the onset of the pandemic and the massive forced transfer of employees to remote work, the processes of organizing remote workplaces have become even more relevant. As a result, there is planned the second stage of the study, which will further study the features of the organization of remote workplaces in the context of the pandemic. It is planned to develop a mechanism for organizing remote workplaces of specialists, taking into account the timely conditions for the functioning and development of enterprises.

In the context of digitalization of all spheres of everyday, industrial and public life, higher and secondary vocational education have the opportunity to move to a new level using modern information and communication technologies and involve the largest possible student audience into the learning process. Experience in the field of distance learning over the past decades shows that this form of educational process organization has a number of advantages over traditional forms of training. Among these advantages are democracy, lower cost of training, the opportunity to participate in the educational process in conditions of territorial separation, combining training with other types of activities, etc. At the same time, in the process of distance learning, the teacher and students also face a number of problems associated with the lack of the possibility of personal and emotional non-verbal contacts, when communication "person-person" is replaced by communication "person-computer". In the context of the forced transition of all higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation to distance learning due to a difficult epidemic situation, it became possible to assess the advantages and disadvantages of this form of training from the point of view of full-time students who had no previous experience of on-line education. A comparative analysis of the opinions of first-year students of the Ural State University of Economics and the college of this university shows that the respondents named the main advantages of distance learning a greater freedom in conducting classes in the absence of constant control and the possibility of combining education with other activities. The main disadvantages are the lack of feedback from the teacher due to distancing, as well as technical problems. The lack of emotional contact with educators was found to be a more serious problem for college students than for university students. It can be concluded that distance learning is more in line with the needs and capabilities of adult learners, and specific forms of organizing classes need to be adapted to the conditions of a specific audience.

AbstractMany production companies have fully adopted a lean management philosophy, but their finances and control departments also need to adapt to this trend. All departments must adapt to the changing requirements and reflect the new challenges in production management. The controlling has undergone a lot of changes. Downloading data is no longer the only task of a controller. Controlling can be integrated into the organizational structure of the company internally as well as externally. Our goal is to define the advantages and disadvantages of using an internal or external controller. To decide whether to outsource some of the process is not just a question of cost reduction or time reduction. Companies very often decide for outsourcing in case of processes, which require special “know how” or are key from the competitiveness point of view. Outsourcing therefore represents a strategic change. Cost savings are only a side effect.

Recently, some the large public (transport) infrastructures became an important issue on the Dutch political agenda. It was especially the High Speed Alliance (HSA), one of the major transport infra-structural projects in the Netherlands that attracted a lot of attention. On one hand, this project was highly advanced from a technical point of view; on the other hand, the HSA was characterized by enormous (budgetary, time, and technical) problems. A large part of these problems was supposed to be covered by a complex (electronic) monitoring and reporting system. The system, which was established to exclude uncertainty and risk, created its own uncertainty. In this paper, the authors examine the role of this system in the process of rationalization and control within the HSA-organization by focusing upon the process of sensemaking. The authors argue that the problems within the HSA can best be understood in terms of a paradox: rationalization and control versus local, individual freedom and initiatives. Three major paradoxes have been distinguished: the cost paradox, the control paradox, and the risk paradox.

The emergence and development of machine learning technologies, unmanned aerial vehicles, 3D-modeling technologies integrated with the concept of "smart construction" significantly expand the possibilities of creating and applying the concept of an effective logistics system for building production at the stage of construction and installation works. At the same time, there is a need to develop a model for creating, processing, storing, issuing and visualizing information on the state of construction production from the point of view of the material and technical support system. The article formulates and considers the concept in the form of electronic automated model with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, presents the mechanism of monitoring and control of construction and installation works and logistics. The capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles, such as visual inspection of buildings, measurements of structures, monitoring of the construction process, control of work performed, monitoring of the timing and cost of work, etc. were determined. Advantages and disadvantages of this system are revealed. The concept developed on the basis of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles makes it possible to create a 3D model, compare its graphic and digital characteristics with the project, identify deviations and defects, the amount of material and technical resources necessary for the uninterrupted construction process, automate and reduce the cost of the process of logistics.
