We present a unique case of a young woman with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with complex karyotype. The presence of the t(4;11)(q23;p15) is extremely rare in myeloid leukemias, while t(4;8)(q32;q13) has not yet been described in any leukemia reference. Another interesting issue is the familial aggregation of myeloid malignancies and worse course of the disease in each subsequent generation, as well as an earlier onset of the disease. Our report emphasizes the need for thorough pedigree examination upon myeloid malignancy diagnosis as there are relatives for whom counseling, gene testing, and surveillance may be highly advisable.

Abstract Do evolving surfaces become flat or not with time evolving when material deposition stops? As one qualitative exploration of this interesting issue, modified stochastic models for persisting roughness have been proposed by Schwartz and Edwards (2004 Phys. Rev. E 70 061602). In this work, we perform numerical simulations on the modified versions of Edwards–Wilkinson (EW) and Kardar–Parisi–Zhang (KPZ) systems when the angle of repose is introduced. Our results show that the evolving surface always presents persisting roughness during the flattening process, and sand dune-like morphology could gradually appear, even when the angle of repose is very small. Nontrivial scaling properties and differences of evolving surfaces between the modified EW and KPZ systems are also discussed.

High spread of Covid-19 in Surabaya implemented on a Large-Scale Social Restrictions policy. This has impacted on closure of tourist destinations, including Surabaya Zoo. During the closing period, Surabaya Zoo suffered significant losses due to the absence of revenue that impacted on the conservation operations in saving endangered animals. Based on Surabaya Mayor Regulation of New Normal Order Guidelines Number 28 of 2020 as amended by Number 33 of  2020, Surabaya Zoo is reopened. This fact is an interesting issue to study how well the management in handling this situation. The writing method used in this paper is a literature review and primary data collection as a form of best practice that might be adopted in Surabaya Zoo. The results showed that management is succeeded in reopening Surabaya Zoo. The conclusion from this study is Surabaya Zoo is recommended to be reopened during the first stage of New Normal

Gender equality is still an interesting issue to be discussed today. Most people, especially those living in various regions in Indonesia, still misinterpret this. Gender equality is seen as an act that puts women first. In Christian circles, this thought is caused by Christian leaders in the past who gave teachings about gender who had unfair treatment between men and women. To provide a solution to these problems, the author uses qualitative research with the literature study method. The author finds that, gender is a characteristic that can be exchanged between each other and can be shared by both. Allah distinguishes the sexes but does not differentiate between the roles of the two. Thus, PAK plays a vital role in building gender understanding in the family and community, especially in the field of education, and in the field of education.

The present study analyzes the different ways in which causative structures in these languages express the ideas of causation, volition vs imposition, and temporal sequencing of actions. The examples have been gathered from media discourse (written and spoken examples of news reports, articles or discussions from electronic media), and informal conversations with the native speakers of the languages during interviews and discussions. The forms of expressing the concepts of desire, wish, will on the one hand, and the forms of expressing imposition, request, incentive, order or involuntary action, on the other, differ across languages from purely syntactic structures to morphological, or lexical-semantic means. Latent causation is yet further interesting issue raised in the paper.

Swampland Conjectures have attracted quite some interest in the Cosmological Community. They have been shown to have wide ranging implications, like constraints on inflationary models, primordial black holes, etc. to name a few. A particularly revealing insight on dark energy also shows that one can have the dark energy equation-of-state for a quintessence scenario to be significantly different than [Formula: see text] after one takes into account the refined dS conjecture. Another interesting issue with the swampland conjectures is that they have been shown to be incompatible with single field inflationary models in GR-based cosmology. In our previous work, we have, however, shown that single field inflationary models are quite compatible with swampland conjectures in their usual string theoretic form in a large class of modified cosmological scenarios. Building on that work, we now show that in modified cosmological scenarios where the early universe expansion was driven by single field inflation, one can have the dark energy equation of state to be significantly different from [Formula: see text] even if we just take into account the original dS conjecture, let alone the refined form of that. We thereby show that one does not need to apply a step function approach towards inflation in order to have an observable distinction between constant and non-constant dark energy models in the context of the swampland conjectures.

The rice import plan to be carried out by the Indonesian government is a very interesting issue to discuss considering that Indonesia is known as an agricultural country. Based on data shown by BPS in 2017, around 29.76% of Indonesia's population works as farmers. This means that when rice import activities are carried out, the welfare of 31.68 million people (farmers) will experience a decline. This study aims to analyze the Indonesian government's plan to import 1 million tonnes of rice, from the perspective of the community that is broadcast on the data and analysis on social media. Meanwhile, data and social media analysis can be seen on (Twitter) obtained through Drone Emprit in the period 13-19 March 2021. The results found based on the data displayed by Drone Emprit show that the issue or plan to import 1 million tons of rice is an inviting policy. many pros and cons in society. The policy for rice imports is strongly rejected by the majority of Twitter people because farmers will enter the main harvest, which is when rice imports continue, what happens is a decrease in the selling price of rice from farmers. And as a result, the farmers will experience a lot of losses.

Banking has driven the development of the world for centuries. An interesting issue to analyze is the optimal spread on financial products reflecting the value added that does not generate economic distortions for consumers in intertemporal decisions. Based on a gravity equation for these services, this paper examines the optimality of a modified Quoted Spread, the recently-proposed mobile-ratio, by assessing whether the pure interest expressed as a gravity equation between interests does not change after applying this spread. Results show that the mobile-ratio is the specification of the spread with no distortions on investment decisions. Regarding fiscal policy, this ratio plays a key role for both the Financial Transaction Tax and the VAT on financial services.

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) have a developing future due to their minimal expense, power-efficiency, and simple to-carry out attributes. Be that as it may, its security issues have become an interesting issue of exploration these days. This article inspects the headway of system of countering assaults where the responsibility, leftover energy of hub and examination of effective and fruitless occasions are consider while registering the trust level. Unlike existing work, this paper talk about the technique in which the trust esteem per layer of a sensor hub is assessed by the deviations of key boundaries at every convention layer considering the attacks. The execution of the proposed counter measure is then investigated utilizing the t-conveyance. Reproduction of WSN has been done to approve the outcomes. With the assistance of reenactment results, it has been seen that the proposed trust-based methodology for interruption location beats existing plans to the extent of revealing safety breaks in WSN.

The ability of bats to coexist with viruses without being harmed is an interesting issue that is still under investigation. Here we use a mathematical model to show that the pattern of body temperature variations observed in bats between day and night is responsible for their ability to keep viruses in check. From the dynamical systems point of view, our model displays an intriguing quasi-periodic behaviour that might be relevant in making the system robust by avoiding viral escape due to perturbations in the body temperature cycle.
