The biological system relies heavily on the interaction between prey and predator. Infections may spread from prey to predators or vice versa. This study proposes a virus-controlled prey-predator system with a Crowley–Martin functional response in the prey and an SI-type in the prey. A prey-predator model in which the predator uses both susceptible and sick prey is used to investigate the influence of harvesting parameters on the formation of dynamical fluctuations and stability at the interior equilibrium point. In the analytical section, we outlined the current circumstances for all possible equilibria. The stability of the system has also been explored, and the required conditions for the model’s stability at the equilibrium point have been found. In addition, we give numerical verification for our analytical findings with the help of graphical illustrations.

The article presents a brief comparison of the main characteristics of rowing electric installations, traditionally used on domestic nuclear icebreakers, and ship reversible main turbine with gearbox. The paper shows that the natural mechanical characteristics of turbine with gearbox allow us to meet the basic requirements for the operation of icebreaking propulsion systems without building complex systems that take place in rowing electric installations to obtain artificial mechanical characteristics of electric motors with the organization of ranges of operation with constant power, ranges of operation with limited torques, as well as solving the problem of utilization of recovered energy during propeller reversals. The analytical section of the article shows that in the proposed installation with direct power transmission to the propeller, the task of maintaining the constancy of the power plant's power at nominal operating conditions, the task of ensuring the operation of the installation when moving in an ice field, when it is necessary to ensure "ice milling" to eliminate jamming and breakage of the propeller with limiting the maximum overload torques on the propeller shaft, the task of reversing the propeller is solved by using the natural mechanical characteristics of a reversible turbine with gearbox. When creating promising heavy nuclear icebreakers, it is recommended to use a simpler, reliable and economical scheme for building icebreaking main power plants based on modern designs of turbine with gearbox as heat engines for driving propellers.

The article attempts to make an analytical section on the practice of implementing in Ukraine and Poland some educational programs aimed at forming a healthy lifestyle of children and youth, in particular the role of public activists and organizations in this process. The activity of public organizations and societies, which in the 1920s - 1930s carried out health care activities in Western Ukraine, is summarized. Polish institutions are represented, which in the late nineteenth - early twentieth century. stood in the path of the public movement to promote health among the population. Two health projects implemented in modern Ukraine are mentioned: «Anti-addiction campaign against alcohol, tobacco and drug use among schoolchildren in Ivano-Frankivsk» (2009) and «Youth for a healthy lifestyle» (2016). The list of Polish educational programs is presented, in which various health-preserving content is presented («Glass of milk», «Keep fit», «Clean air around us», «Fruits and vegetables at school», «Healthy food and physical activity in schools», «Don’t fall for me, please», «Running for health», «Safe road to school», «I click with my head»). It is noted that public figures and organizations contribute to the dissemination of positive information about certain projects, provide financial support, etc.

Abstract The paper explores the use of the lexeme shit in the corpus of Dave Chappelle’s stand-up specials released between 2000 and 2019. It consists of two parts: theoretical and analytical. The first one presents theoretical and pragmatic considerations connected with stand-up routines, touches upon slang semantics, and depicts the links between Dave Chappelle’s stage persona and the hip hop community. Lastly, it presents the reader with the past and present-day status of the lexeme at issue. In the analytical section of the paper the use of shit in the aforesaid corpus is scrutinized from the semantic angle. The discussion is supplemented with the results culled from the corpus of rap lyrics compiled at the Faculty of English at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The paper argues that (i) shit has lost its taboo status and is mainly used in both corpora as a less formal equivalent of stuff, anything and something and (ii) Chappelle’s stage use of shit, even though present in a different context and serving context-specific purposes, corresponds to the use of African American rappers in their song lyrics (assuming that rap lyrics depict African American English, this conclusion can be extended to the sociolect of African Americans).

The transformation of the concepts ―mass culture‖, ―pop culture‖ and those artistic genres, which are their components, in the scientific discourse of the 19th-21stI centuries is traced. The ways and results of the interaction of modern culture and society, which is the end-user of the cultural product, are studied. Some examples of modern cinema and music industry are analyzed, and it is determined that these two components being the most used by the consumer spheres of art directly reflect the world social trends. After having considered the key social processes it is possible to conclude that they are brightly represented in the modern popular music and this fact allowed not only to specify and systematize the ways of interaction between the music art and its consumers, but also to trace the ways of how exactly a mass consumer shapes the functioning and development of a popular and mass product. The ideas of combating various discriminations (by gender, identification - as in the case of LGBTQ+ community, by physique, etc.) and the creation of unified polycultural space have been defined as the most common ideas, that are broadcasting by performers. Therefore, in the analysis of selected works of pop music, a polycultural approach was used, which allows to consider them in terms of the synthesis of cultures and the formation of a global product, i.e. the one that will be understood and accessible to everyone. The analytical section includes compositions written by performers over the past few years that makes this analysis relevant and demonstrates that isolated trends occur now and continue to transform and change. Such comprehensive approach to the study of the mass culture can be useful to clarify the definition of this concept, as the interpretation and evaluation of this phenomenon of scientists today differs, despite the significant number of the mass culture studies and its individual forms in various fields of science — philosophy, culturology, sociology, psychology

The article substantiates the need to create a pure egology in order to analyze the structures of consciousness. The relevance of egological research is to form the foundation for disparate cognitive sciences. On the basis of the historical and philosophical approach, the idea of transcendental logic is considered and it is concluded that it is essentially correlated with the analysis of consciousness. Transcendental logic takes into account the pure content of human thinking, which is not reduced to an empirical composition. Results. 1. The question of the dual nature of logic was first raised by the ancient Stoics, who included in it a section devoted to the analysis of impressions and the formulation of criteria for knowledge. 2. The idea of transcendental logic is presented in its expanded form in the works of Kant, who divided it into analytics and dialectics. In the analytical section, Kant is confronted with a paradox — with the division of the pure I into two parts: active subject and passive object. The identity of these parts does not give any knowledge of how the pure I exist in itself. As a result of the transcendental analysis, a distinction is introduced between the pure and the empirical subject. 3. Hegel’s critical reinterpretation of the idea of transcendental logic leads to a new division, in which it corresponds to an objective logic that takes into account the content of knowledge and its origin. 4. The connection between logic and egology was found in Husserl’s later works, most systematically in “Formal and Transcendental Logic”. Transcendental logic is a subjectively oriented study that clarifies the constitutive activity of pure consciousness. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the fact that the pure I as a subject of egology contains and produces objective logical formations. Formal logic is concerned with inference and proof, being a demonstrative rather than descriptive discipline. This lack of formal logic can only be eliminated by transcendental logic, which directly addresses the experience of pure consciousness. It should be used to study the subjective structures that underlie theoretical reason. Thanks to the experience of egology, there is a real opportunity in the future to solve the question of reason in its relevance and live performance, in which objective formations find their source.

For pharmaceutical industry, HPLC is more than 40 years old. Even after instrumental advancements in HPLC problems still arise, troubleshooting still comes. HPLC is the main stay of analytical section nowadays in pharmaceutical industry whether it is API industry or formulation plant. Best approach for troubleshooting HPLC problems is going with systematic way. At the start of quantitative chromatographic analysis, the first parameter of paramount importance is baseline, especially for measuring the area of any given peak. Baseline usually suffers from these errors, namely, high baseline drift, periodic baseline fluctuation, and spikes. This article aims at suggesting some working methodologies which will resolve as well as avoid cases of such errors and failures.

In this paper, the reasons for marginal growth in Mashhad were examined. Marginalization in the areas around the city was reviewed and the margin management in the direction of empowerment was evaluated. The main goal is to find solutions for better management of marginalized areas based on empowerment approach. Research method is descriptive-analytic and data are obtained through documentary and field studies (completed questionnaires). In order to test the research hypotheses, statistical analysis of factor analysis, analysis of variance, Spearman correlation coefficient and Mann-Whitney test have been used. The statistical population consists of 922282 people in eight marginal areas of Mashhad that includes 66 marginal neighborhoods. From statistical population, 400 people were selected as samples. To obtain sample size, the Cochran formula has been used with a 95% confidence interval and a standard error of 5%. The research findings show that the best solution for better management of the marginalized areas is the economic empowerment of the marginalized population, which, of course, has been implemented for empowerment. In the field and practical part, 384 randomly selected questionnaires were completed by residents of marginal neighborhoods of Mashhad. Finally, in the analytical section, the information obtained in the above steps was analyzed using the SPSS software program.
