Introduction — For the Armenian language, no standardized audiometric speech perception test is available. The purpose of this research was to develop, digitally record and evaluate an Armenian multisyllabic speech audiometry test, which can be used to measure speech recognition thresholds in Armenian native speakers. Material and Methods — To create a homogeneous multisyllabic speech corpus, Armenian numerals from 10-100 with 2-4 syllables were selected as general sample and digitally recorded by a female native Armenian speaker. For equalizing the speech recognition threshold between the test items, the speech discrimination function for each numeral was subsequently evaluated by five normal hearing native Armenian listeners in an experimental study. Results — Based on the phonemic structure of the Armenian language, 20 phonemically homogeneous test lists were created. The phoneme distributions of each test list correlated significantly and positively with that of the general sample (all Pearson moment correlation coefficients >0.960; all ps <0.001). Comparison of the phoneme distributions of test lists to that of the Armenian language showed that the test lists represent the language corpus quite well. After adjusting for actual threshold levels, speech discrimination functions are comparable between all numerals used. Conclusion — The developed test lists are a phonetically homogenous representation of the Armenian language and serve as an appropriated base for future clinical measurements of speech recognition threshold in Armenian speaking listeners.

Abstract Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a medical imaging modality that considers the electrical properties of tissues to obtain a conductivity distribution of a region of interest using the level of resistance it presents to the passage of a small electrical current. This work describes the design of an 8-electrode EIT prototype that offers the possibility of changing the excitation parameters and freedom of movement of the demodulation synchrony by means of conventional electronics. The image reconstruction obtained can locate disturbances in the study medium using the adjacent electrode method. A comparison of the voltage measurements acquired on a homogeneous test medium in two different collection cycles was implemented to determine the precision of the system. The data obtained indicate a maximum error percentage of 2.6% between measurements, which represents an acceptable first approach towards the design of a device with greater stability and precision.

Capitalizing on some earlier work, this paper presents a novel Monte Carlo-based approach that allows estimating the neutron noise induced by stationary perturbations of macroscopic cross-sections in the frequency domain. This method relies on the prior computation using Monte Carlo of modified Green’s functions associated to the real part of the dynamic macroscopic cross-sections, mimicking equivalent subcritical problems driven by external neutron sources. Once such modified Green’s functions are estimated, the neutron noise induced by any type of perturbations can be recovered, by solving a linear algebra problem accounting for the interdependence between the real and imaginary parts of the governing balance equations. The newly derived method was demonstrated on a large homogeneous test system and on a small heterogeneous test system to provide results comparable to a diffusion-based solver specifically developed for neutron noise applications. The new method requires the specification by the user of the real part of the Fourier transform of the macroscopic cross-sections. This is accomplished using ACE-formatted cross-section files defined by the user. Beyond this input data preparation, no change to the Monte Carlo source code is necessary. This represents the main advantage of the proposed method as compared to similar efforts requiring extensive modifications to the Monte Carlo source code.

This study is entitled the influence of the Walking Gallery learning model on student learning outcomes of the class XI TKR SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. Quantitative research used in this study is the Pre-experimental Design method or is an actual experiment. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data normality test proceed with homogeneous test data and the final test is the hypothesis testing data The results of the parametric hypothesis test using the t-test two correlated samples obtained the value of t_count > t_table (7.72 > 2.04). Because t_count = 7.72 is greater than t_table = 2.04, this means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that the Gallery learning model runs against student learning outcomes in component system lesson in class XI TKR SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya runs better than student learning outcomes before learning with the gallery walk learning model

This study aims to determine the impact of the use of Physical Education teaching materials that are integrated with Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan Arabic (ISMUBA). The study sample was 19 students of class I of Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Sukaraja (Muturaja) and 16 people of Elementary School ‘Aisyiyah of Sukabumi City. The research method used pre-experimental with one group pre test-posttest design. The treatment given is teaching using ISMUBA integrated physical education teaching materials. Data collection techniques with tests and observations. The data analysis technique with paired t-test was preceded by the prerequisite test, namely the normality and homogeneity test with the mini tab software. The results of the Muturaja School normality test pre-test obtained p-value 0.150> 0.05 and post-test obtained p-value 0.150> 0.05 while 'Aisyiyah School pre-test obtained p-value 0.051> 0.05 and post-test obtained p-value 0.150> 0.50, meaning that data is normally distributed. The results of the Muturaja School homogeneity test obtained p-value 0.821> 0.05 and ‘Aisyiyah School obtained p-value 0.452> 0.05, proving that the sample was homogeneous. Test the hypothesis with table t at a significant level = 0.05 at Muturaja School obtained t count = 12.90 and ‘Aisyiyah School t count = 18.82. Because t count> t table, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternatif hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is the influence of Physical Education teaching materials integrated with ISMUBA on the learning outcomes of class I students of Muturaja Elementary School and ‘Aisyiyah Elementary School Academic Year 2018/2019.
