The article reveals the features of the international trade, economic and integration priorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article examines the theoretical and legal aspects of waste management, describes the state of the waste management sector in Russia and the problems associated with it. On the basis of cluster analysis, regional differentiation in the considered sphere is determined. The efficiency of waste management in terms of current costs and investments in fixed assets, aimed at preventing the harmful effects of waste, for the national economy and at the level of the regions of Russia is assessed. The directions of improving of waste management sphere in Russia are formulated.

This article examines the history of silkworm breeding, the role of silkworm breeding in the national economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the role of silkworm breeding in the development of the industry. This is because the interrelationship of traits of economic value is of great importance in selection and breeding work. The experiments were conducted in 2015-2017 at the Silk Research Institute of Uzbekistan. The life expectancy of the experimental butterflies was 10.9-12.8 days and the variability was 33.9-56.6%. The coefficient of variability indicates the degree of diversity in the population on this trait. Thus, it is clear from the results that the population of “Marvarid” and “Liniya 27” has the ability to carry out selection work on the sign of life expectancy of female butterflies.

The article shows that at present there is no generally accepted definition of the innovative environment in the scientific circulation, which fully reveals its substantive characteristics. The author's definition of the concept of "innovative environment" is proposed. On the basis of the analysis of statistical data, the positive and negative aspects of the innovation environment in the Republic of Belarus have been identified. It is shown that the formation of an innovative environment is an important factor in the sustainable growth of the national economy. A set of measures is proposed to develop an innovative environment, create conditions for effective implementation of innovations and increase the competitiveness of the national economy.

The article analyzes the state of the national economy of Karakalpakstan in the 1920–1930s. It is emphasized that at this time transport problems arose in front of the Republic for the development of the national economy. A historical excursion to the history of traditional transport among the peoples of the lower reaches of the Amu Darya is carried out. The experience of Western countries with a developed market infrastructure shows that the public procurement system naturally became an integral part of the sphere of internal commodity exchange of certain types of products and services and one of the mechanisms for maintaining competition and a liberal way of doing business. The objective basis for the existence and progressive development of the public procurement system in the national economy of many countries is the fact that in the process of fulfilling their target functions, individual government departments and organizational structures of any of them are forced to face the problem of material and technical support both for the implementation of state and local programs, and for the implementation of their current activities. As a rule, it is solved by purchasing the necessary material and intangible resources, goods, works and services through purchases, called state, in the process of specially organized competitive bidding. The purpose of this article is to show the experience of developed countries in the implementation of public procurement.

This paper presents economic analysis of the dynamics and current state of the innovation potential of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the following areas and components: the resource component of the innovation potential (production, financial, HR, R&D and technical resources) and the efficiency component of the innovation potential (a number of innovative SMEs and the volume of their innovative products). For this analysis, the authors use the official statistics of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the period of 2007 to 2017. The presented approach can be applied for comparative analysis, identifying the causes, factors and trends in the development of innovation potential of other developing economies.

This article analyzes the impact of the country's media image on foreign investment flows. Researches show, that the development of any country tensely depends on its reputation in information space. Media coverage of economic reforms and important political changes is the main reason why investors in other states show interest in the country. As a result, it is possible to achieve a multiple increase in the inflow of foreign investments. The investment of foreign investors in the national economy depends not only on the rating of enterprises or on the results of economic activity, but also on the geopolitical location of the country and its domestic and foreign policy. Investors choose the most stable countries to invest capital. That is why all countries around the world are trying to do as much as possible to minimize investment risks. Like all countries in the world, Uzbekistan is making a lot of efforts to improve the attractiveness of the investment climate in the national economy. In particular, in recent years, a special attention has been paid to the investment policy of the Republic. At the same time, mass media in Uzbekistan are trying to spread the information about the great achievements of the country to the world. In this process, modern technologies of national mass media, in particular the Internet and satellite capabilities are being used. However, it would be desirable to increase the effectiveness of the existing information capacity, strengthen mechanisms for enhancing the country's image in the global media space.
