To overcome the crisis of the modern school institution, it is necessary to qualitatively rethink its foundations and to design fundamentally new approaches to implementing the educational program. The theoretical and methodological bases of the concept of a new type of school as a development practice, based on the provisions of Russian cultural-historical psychology and the activity approach are presented. The purpose of the work is to consider in the modern context the key theoretical provisions of Russian psychology and to formulate the methodological principles arising from them, which set the conditions for organizing the educational process, thus ensuring the transition from theory to practice. The key concepts of the school model are development, agency and collaboration: infinite development is formulated as the supreme goal and value of the school, the development of the position of agency is considered as the main productive process, and collaboration is the main professional principle. Eight basic principles are formulated as follows: intent - implementation - reflection as a methodological scheme for organizing school processes, the principle of multidimensional development, the principle of equal importance of school activities, the principle of congruence, the principle of organizing the educational space as a space for growing up, the principle of fellowship of practices and the development-oriented approach to evaluation. Thus, the article presents the authors view of the school as a scientifically grounded anthropological practice. The implementation of the concept, which has already begun in Russia, is an experiment that will make it possible to verify these theoretical and methodological provisions.

The present paper gives a review of such terms as "value" and "extracurricular activities". Secular values are to be passed from generation to generation. Family is the most traditional means of the transfer. However, educational institutions are of equal importance, though criticized at all times and under all regimes. Therefore, school must build spiritual and moral values in schoolchildren, taking in consideration the current conditions. The authors tried to answer the question how exactly the modern school should do it. The research contains an analysis of numerous foreign and domestic scientific sources, as well as the authors’ own empirical research. The research objective was to identify the psychological and pedagogical conditions for orientation of adolescents to moral values during extracurricular activities. The empirical basis was the data obtained from a survey conducted at a secondary school (Romanovskaya Station) in 2018 (N=43). The research employed methods of analysis and synthesis. The results of theoretical and empirical research can find direct application in the educational process. They may also be useful for humanitarian departments of Russian pedagogical universities that prepare students for spiritual and moral education of students. In addition, the data can be used in the system of training and retraining of teachers.

The digital economy and the rapidly developing digital society have an impact on the training of modern teachers and put forward requirements for the level of development of their digital literacy, digital skills and, ultimately, the level of digital culture. However, current regulatory documents do not always reflect the current requirements for teachers’ digital competencies and do not offer tools to measure their level of formation. The authors analyzed the existing frameworks of digital competencies and offered a model of the modern school teachers’ digital culture, its technological component, for its introduction into the educational process of teacher training. The article describes the elements of the model, normative documents and theoretical provisions that underlie it. The first stage of digital culture formation is considered in educational (fact-finding) practice for curricula formed according to FSES 3++. The objectives of the practice are formulated, competencies are selected from the educational standard, its content, thematic planning and planned results in the form of a decomposition of digital skills from the model of the digital culture of the teacher are determined. This type of practice is being implemented at the university for the first time and sets the task of forming the foundation of the model, namely, general user ICT competence (digital literacy).

The problem of school innovative educational activities is considered to be urgent due to the competition on the market of educational services. Content, technology and teaching educational innovations become the source of competitive advantages of the modern school. Innovation is always a risk, because only a few of them are implemented in reality and lead to positive results. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the content and methodological aspects of opportunities and risks prediction as an integral part of school innovative development. The basis of the author's position is the probabilistic nature of school, which is manifested in the uncertainty and unpredictability of the effects of innovations introduction in the educational process. Subjects of innovative activity, innovative activity itself and the environment are thought to be the main factors of uncertainty. Chances and risks are considered to be the forms of actualization of school future development. Chances and risks are objective and subjective. The author describes a hierarchy of predictable chances and risks, including operational, tactical and strategic levels. Chances and risks prediction is considered to be a mechanism for reducing the uncertainty and unpredictability of school innovative development. The author represents methodological aspects of opportunities and risks prediction. The paper contains an example of real educational practice.

The guideline for the self-development of students today is declared by the leading educational documents of the Russian Federation, including: Law of the Russian Federation “On Education”, “The Concept of the Federal Targeted Program for the Development of Education for 2016-2020”, “The Concept of Spiritual and Moral Development and Education of the Personality of a Russian Citizen” (2009), etc. The materials of the “Strategy for the development of education in the Russian Federation for the period until 2025” indicate that today an important attention should be paid to the training in children the ability to make the right choice, the formation by children of positive life guides and plans, which is an indicator of self-development of the individual. The upbringing of a free personality, ready to bear responsibility for one’s actions, thoughts and actions, are today important tasks of modern education. This target benchmark involves the realization of the subject’s position of the child and the construction of a cooperative relationship between the teacher and children. In the paper the author presents the results of studying the problem of self-development of the individual, which is relevant for modern pedagogical science and educational practice. The present study was carried out within the framework of M.I. Rozhkov, who regards self-development as the realization by the child of his own project of improving the qualities necessary for him, which seems especially urgent in modern sociocultural conditions. As a new idea for the implementation of pedagogical support for the self-development of children, a refl exive-value approach is suggested, within which the pedagogical support of the self-development of adolescents sets the task of shaping the child’s value meanings, and, on the basis of this, building a project of his life. We see the creation of children as self-development projects in the context of specially organized pedagogical support, methodologically based on the laws, principles and mechanisms of the refl exive-value approach. In this case, we are talking about the formation in the child of value meanings, on the basis of which the vision of the project of his life is built. The article presents the elements of the model of pedagogical support for the self-development of adolescents in supplementary education, realized in the context of a refl exive-value approach. The refl exive-value approach to the pedagogical support of students’ self-development can be fully realized in conditions of additional education and after-school activities in the school, since the educational environment organized in them provides the greatest pedagogical opportunities for children’s self-development, namely: voluntary, free choice of direction and type of activity, the content of its education, the volume and pace of its development; taking into account the individual needs of the child, subordination to the nature of the child; the adoption and protection of the individual interests of children; absence of strict regulation of the educational process; cooperation of children and adults; installation of individual experience in productive activities.

The article describes the use of BYOD technology (Bring Your Own Device) in educational practice using the Lecture Racing mobile application. This application provides feedback between the teacher and students both in the classroom and during distance learning, contributes to the visualization of educational material and, in general, the informatization of the educational process. The purpose of the study is to conduct a theoretical analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of BYOD technology in Russia and abroad, and to test the benefits of using this technology in educational practice using the specific mobile application. During the study, an analysis of scientific, theoretical and practical literature on BYOD technology was carried out. In the process of experimental work, test tasks were the instrument of measuring knowledge and skills of students. As a result of a theoretical analysis and study of the practical possibilities of using BYOD technology (using the Lecture Racing mobile application as an example), it was found that this technology allows you to visualize information that is displayed in real time on the screen of each student's mobile device, regardless of its location. This technology also allows both the student and the teacher to quickly work with information, provide feedback, receive an independent assessment (since the assessment is set automatically), saves time, and develops the information culture of students.
