The study aims to find out and analyze: Parental support, optimism for the future  toward achievement motivation Student at SMAN 2 Solok. The type of  this research was a correlational. The technique of sampling in this study was the simple random sampling, with a sample of 162 students. Data collected through in terviews, questionnaires, and documentation as a reference in research. Method analysis was the Path analysis. classified in to quantitative study using survey research methods. To test the hypothesis by using test. The results showed that: 1) Parental support  significantly influence the achievement motivation. 2) optimisme future significantly influence the achievement motivation. 3) the  Parental support significant effect the optimisme future.Keyword: Parental support, Peer social support, optimisme future, achievement motivation

This research was done because of phenomenon of the students’ low motivation to get the achievement at school. Social support have a correlation for creating the students’ potential giftedness to get an achievement in learning. The role of the teachers, especially the teachers of guidance and counseling are needed in improving the students’ achievement at school in order to improve their learning achievement. This research has purpose to find the social support and achievement motivation of SMPN Kecamatan Batang Kapas Pesisir Selatan. This research used correlational approach which has purpose to know how is the contribution among the research variables. The population of the research is the students of SMPN Kecamatan Batang Kapas Pesisir Selatan. The amount of the population was 601 students. The sample of this research was 240 students. It had been taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in the form of scale. The data was analyzed by using descriptive technique and the hypothesis testing was done by using korelasional. The result shows that: (1) social support is in the enough category, (2) students’ achievement motivation is in the enough category, (4) the contribution of social support through the students’ achievement motivation is about 20.2%.  The above findings imply that social support have contributed to students achievement motivation. Needs to be done similar studies were suggested to conduct at different contexts to compare the findings.

Abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) the relationship of social support to achievement motivation; (2) The relationship of self-efficacy to achievement motivation; (3) The relationship between social support and self-efficacy on achievement motivation (4) The amount of the independent variable's contribution to the dependent. The design of this research is social support and self-efficacy as independent variables, while achievement motivation is the dependent variable. The research population of SMAN 1 Wates students with a sample of 183 students obtained through simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used consisted of a social support scale, a self-efficacy scale, and an achievement motivation scale. The data analysis technique was in the form of descriptive statistics with the results obtained on the social support variable having a percentage value of 74.3 percent in the high category, while in the medium category it was 25.7 percent. The results of self-efficacy get a score of 83.6 percent in the high category, and 16.4 percent in the medium category. Achievement motivation has a value of 79.8 percent, while in the medium category it is 20.2 percent. Then, the effect of the predictor variable on the criteria is 45.4 percent. Overall, it can be seen that there is a significant and positive relationship between social support and self-efficacy together with achievement motivation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Hubungan dukungan sosial terhadap motivasi berprestasi; (2) Hubungan efikasi diri terhadap motivasi berprestasi; (3) Hubungan dukungan sosial dan efikasi diri terhadap motivasi berprestasi (4) Besarnya sumbangan variabel independen terhadap dependen. Rancangan penelitian ini yaitu dukungan sosial dan efikasi diri sebagai variabel bebas, sedangkan motivasi berprestasi sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian siswa SMAN 1 Wates dengan sampel 183 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari skala dukungan sosial, skala efikasi diri, dan skala motivasi berprestasi. Teknik analisis data berupa statistik deskriptif dengan hasil yang diperoleh pada variabel dukungan sosial mempunyai persentase nilai 74,3 persen kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada kategori sedang 25,7 persen. Hasil dari Efikasi diri mendapatkan nilai sebesar 83,6 persen kategori tinggi, dan kategori sedang 16,4 persen. Motivasi berprestasi memiliki nilai sebesar 79,8 persen, sedangkan pada kategori sedang 20,2 persen. Kemudian, untuk pengaruh variabel prediktor terhadap kriterium yaitu 45,4 persen. Secara keseluruhan dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara dukungan sosial dan efikasi diri secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi berprestasi.

This research aimed to determine the correlation between, (1) the understanding of effective sentence and writing skill in descriptive text; (2) the achievement motivation and writing skill in descriptive text; and (3) the understanding of effective sentence and achievement motivation toward writing skill in descriptive text. The research method used was a correlational survey. Population of the research is tenth grade students of Vocational High School of Surakarta with the sample consisted of 60 people were taken by simple random sampling for to analyze the data is statistic regression and correlation technique. The result of this study shows that: (1) there is a positive correlation between the understanding of effective sentence and writing skill in descriptive on google classroom; (2) there is a positive correlation between achievement motivation and writing skill in descriptive text on google classroom; and (3) there is positive correlation between the understanding of effective sentence and achievement motivation toward writing skill in descriptive text on google classroom. Considering the result of research, it can be conclude that understanding of effective sentence and achievement motivation are important factors that can improve student’s writing skill in descriptive text, however achievement motivation has bigger contribution than the understanding of effective sentence.

  This study aims to look at the correlation of self-adjustment and social support with the achievement motivation of female students who live in dormitories. In this study, the population is the student of the Midwifery Diploma Program at Singaperbangsa Karawang University (UNSIKA) level one and two. The sampling method is cluster random sampling technique. Based on Morgan's table, from a population of 160 people, 113 samples were obtained, but in this study researchers took a sample of 120 people. The results of this study indicate that between self-adjustment and peer social support for achievement motivation there is a significant positive correlation with p = 0.083 (with p <0.05). This shows the higher the adjustment and social support of a peer, the higher the achievement motivation, and conversely the lower the self-esteem, the lower the achievement motivation. The results of this study are in accordance with the theory that has been stated which states that by being able to adjust themselves and get social support from peers, it will be able to improve its performance optimally. While effective contribution shows that self-adjustment and social support of peers together make an effective contribution of 26.2% on achievement motivation, the remaining 73.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Keywords: Achievement Motivation, Social Support, Student Adjustment   Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat korelasi penyesuaian diri dan dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswi yang tinggal di asrama. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah mahasiswi Program Studi DIII Kebidanan di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) tingkat satu dan dua. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Berdasarkan table Morgan, dari populasi yang berjumlah 160 orang, maka didapatkan sample sebesar 113 orang, tetapi dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengambil sampel 120 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa antara penyesuaian diri dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap motivasi berprestasi terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan dengan p= 0.083 (dengan p <0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan semakin tinggi penyesuaian diri dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya seorang maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi berprestasinya, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah harga diri maka semakin rendah pula motivasi berprestasinya. Hasil penelitian ini sesuai dengan teori yang telah dikemukakan yang menyatakan bahwa dengan mempu menyesuaiak diri dan mendapatkan dukungan sosial teman sebaya maka akan dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya secara optimal. Sedangkan Sumbangan efektif menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian diri dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya secara bersama-sama memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 26,2% terhadap motivasi berprestasi, sisanya 73,8 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.   Kata Kunci: Motivasi berprestasi, Dukungan sosial, Penyesuaian diri Mahasiswa

Abstract: Decline in education quality is no longer a new issue, especially in Indonesia, there are some internal and external factors in low of education quality. An example of internal factor is motivation. Achievement motivation is important in education. Social environment can affect achievement motivation. The purpose of this research is to reveal the correlation between social support and achievement motivation. This research uses analytic-descriptive with cross sectional method. Subjects are chosen by simple random sampling technique. 157 subjects of this research are 2013 generation of Faculty of Medicine students. As the result, the value of p=0,005 < α=0,05 which means that there is a significant positive correlation between social support and achievement motivation. Correlation coefficient value is 0,223, which means that the result classification is low, higher social support leads to higher achievement motivation and lower social support leads to lower achievement motivation. Conclusion: There is a significant positive correlation between social support and achievement motivation on 2013 generation of Faculty of Medicine students, Sam Ratulangi University.Keywords: Social Support, Achievement MotivationAbstrak: Menurunnya kualitas pendidikan bukanlah hal yang baru lagi,khususnya bagimasyarakat Indonesia, rendahnya mutu pendidikan berasal dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi motivasi; motivasi yang penting dalam dunia pendidikan adalah motivasi berprestasi. Salah satu hal yang dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan motivasi berprestasi adalah lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu simpel random sampling. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2013 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sam Ratulangi dengan jumlah 157 subyek. Teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Sperman Rank dengan tingkat kemaknaan α=0,05. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai p=0,005<α=0,05, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,223 termasuk kedalam kategori rendah, artinya semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi, sebaliknya semakin rendah dukungan sosial maka semakin rendah motivasi berprestasi. Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa angkatan 2013 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sam Ratulangi.Kata kunci: Dukungan sosial, Motivasi berprestasi

Background: Everyone would want to enjoy their old age in a healthy condition both physically and spiritually, but the fact is that old age is more synonymous with periods of decline in physical, mental, and human interest. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to Identify the description of understanding the meaning of life from a health perspective for the elderly at the Panti Griya Werdha Jambangan in Surabaya. Methods: This study is a quantitative study with a descriptive design. The population in this study were all the elderly who live in the home for the werdha Jambangan with a total of 60 elderly and the sample used was 56 respondents using simple random sampling. The variable in this study is the understanding of the meaning of life from a health perspective in the elderly. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and presented in a frequency distribution table. Results: The results showed that out of 56 elderly people at the Werdha Jambangan Nursing Home in Surabaya, 73.2% of the respondents were 60-74 years old, 73.2% were female, and most of them 55.4% had an understanding of the meaning of a moderate life. Conclusion: Getting an understanding of the meaning of life requires a long and continuous process. A person who already has an understanding of the meaning of his life will be more prosperous and happier in life.Key words: Understanding the meaning of life, health perspective, elderly

The present study seeks to investigate the level of adjustment and social support of college going adolescents. Sample included 120 (simple random sampling method) randomly selected adolescents i.e. 60 boys and 60 girls college students from various pre-university colleges of Kalaburgi district of Hyderabad Karnataka. For obtaining the data on social support and adjustment, social support scale developed by Vaxu (1986), and adjustment inventory was developed by Sinha and Singh (1984) were used respectively. The statistical technique t-test and spearman rho coefficient of correlation was employed for comparing the two groups. The findings of the study showed that there exists significant difference in adjustment and social support between boys and girls. Whereas there exists no significant difference in respect to domicile between adjustment and social support. It also concludes that there exists positive and significant difference between adjustment and social support.

The purpose of this study is to know and understand the community in the Village Sayati Margahayu District Bandung regency with the development and extension of department store (Convenience Store) "X". The research method is descriptive method using qualitative and quantitative approach as the basis of analysis and interpretation. Sample determination technique used is cluster with simple random sampling method and purposive sampling, which means that the sample used in accordance with the purpose of research. Data which is primary and secondary data. The results showed that people responded positively and variedly about the decision to the extension of the "X" Stores, and only a small portion would be used, but it was only up to the government.

The research is aimed at determine the  relationship of  achievement motivation and assesment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism on the teacher’s teaching ability. The research was done in Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The number of population is all elementary school teachers, while the number of the samples is 50 teachers taken using simple random sampling. The instruments used were: (1) observation checklist for getting the data of teacher’s teaching ability, and (2) questionnaires for achievement motivation and assesment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using simple and multiple correlation and regression.  The result showed that: there is a positive correlation between achievement motivation (X1) and assessment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism (X2) simultaneously and teacher’s teaching ability (Y), (ry12 =0.62 and r2 =0,38 ). Based on the results, it can be stated that the ability of teachers can be improved by improving achievement motivation and developing the assessment of the professional teachers.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1.) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi PlantNet terhadap hasil belajar; 2.) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar; dan 3.) Untuk mengetahui interaksi antara peng-gunaan aplikasi PlantNet dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian dilak-sanakan pada tanggal 20 Januari 2020 sampai dengan 14 Maret 2020. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 kelas dengan jumlah sebanyak 1.088 siswa kelas VII ditiga sekolah yaitu SMP Negeri 2 Gedangan, SMP Negeri 3 Sidoarjo, dan SMP Negeri 4 Sidoarjo. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan simple random sampling, pengambilan sampel secara acak sederhana melalui nomor undian. Dalam pengambilan sampel didapat 3 kelas eksperimen penggunaan aplikasi PlantNet dan 3 kelas kontrol tanpa aplikasi PlantNet menggunakan diskusi kelas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Anava dua jalur dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1.) Ada-nya  pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi PlantNet terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas 7; 2.) Adanya pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas 7; dan 3.) Adanya interaksi antara penggunaan aplikasi PlantNet dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII. AbstractThe objectives of this study are: 1.) To determine the effect of using the PlantNet application on learning outcomes; 2.) To determine the effect of learning styles on learning outcomes; and 3.) To determine the interaction between the use of the PlantNet application and learning styles on the learning outcomes of 7th grade science students. This research method uses experimental research. The study was conducted on January 20 until March 14, 2020. The population in this study was 32 classes with a total of 1,088 7th grade students in three schools, namely SMP Negeri 2 Gedangan, SMP Negeri 3 Sidoarjo, and SMP Negeri 4 Sidoarjo. The research sampling technique uses simple random sampling, simple random sampling through lottery numbers. In sampling obtained 3 experimental classes using the PlantNet application and 3 control classes without the PlantNet application using class discussion. Data analysis technique used two-way Anava with a significance value of α = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that: 1.) The influence of the use of the PlantNet application on the learning outcomes of the 7th grade science students; 2.) The influence of learning styles on the results of science learning for 7th grade students; and 3.) There is an interaction between the use of the PlantNet application and learning styles on the learning outcomes of 7th grade science students.
