The contribution of women in agriculture is significant, especially in the economy of the family. However, this important contribution is not matched by the equal opportunity and access to the agricultural resources and other public facilities. In this paper, I seek to explore women’s access to and control of tenant farmers on the land PTPN IX Kebun Merbuh. The method used in this study is a qualitative method; data are collected through observation and interviews. The results show that women’s access to and control of tenant farmers on the land PTPN IX is still weak, compared with men, though they play many important domestic and public roles. As a result, these women are still marginalized in agricultural production and are still experiencing double burden in their lives.

In the sociological analysis of the cultures of aikido and judo coaches, we intend to demonstrate the social profile, defined by the socio-professional category and the socio-cultural status of individuals, determined as choices and the intensity of professional aikido and judo practice. To deepen the object of study, we define three hypotheses and create an analysis model for its operationalization. Several social techniques were used: direct observation, participant observation, semi-direct interview and survey research. The universe consisted of 60 coaches, at a national level, having been executed in order to complete 6 interviews with privileged interlocutors. The results reveal that there is a homogeneity between the social groups that practice the two combat sports, although they find differences in habits and values, according to sex, age and level of education. The analysis of the information mobilized points to a differentiation in the social level, in the visibility, in the career opportunities, in the profile and in the sports under study. The data point to a differentiation in the level of involvement, especially the type of practice/conception, the conditions of access, the family influence, the intensity of the practice and the associative participation according to the social profile and the sports under analysis.

Female prisoners, who are minority figures in prisons, have fewer opportunities to obtain health facilities and services that support their reproductive health care. Programs and socialization aimed at female prisoners are often ineffective, so they don't get the knowledge they need. Sometimes, their basic needs, such as when they experience menstruation (such as sanitary napkins and clean underwear), are still lacking. The purpose of this study is to describe the social support received by female prisoners in the practice of genital personal hygiene behavior during the period of detention at the Class IIA Sidoarjo Penitentiary. The method used is a qualitative method. This article presents an analysis of Soviet law on the family which was valid in Lithuania from 1940, in order to ascertain how it reflected gender equality, how (or if ) it was formed, the legal measures the state harnessed in order to create family and gender relation models in various areas of life, and what kind of family and gender policy formed as a result. The law is contextualised in this paper by immersing it in the social reality of its time. This allows us to determine what norms and provisions determined the political and legal resolutions of the Soviet authorities, and to discuss their influence on society. The two most important periods in Soviet gender policy are distinguished. Initially revolutionary and radical in Lithuania, with the aim of changing society to realise its goals, after the 1950s, state policy became more reactive, and adapted to the changed, modernised society and its needs. This paper proposes to see changes to women’s situation during the Soviet period not as emancipation, but as (double) mobilisation. The reasons for the stagnation in masculinity in Soviet law and policy, for not keeping up with or adapting to the rapidly changing social reality, are also analysed. The contradictions in Soviet policy regarding the family and gender are shown, where it proved impossible to unambiguously apply ‘conservative-liberal’ or ‘traditional- liberal’ distinctions in both policy and reality.

The social role of social worker: its shaping and acting in Erving Goffman’s dramaturgical perspective The subject of the work is shaping and playing the social role of a social worker in the dramaturgical perspective of Erving Goffman. The article is based on the author’s own research carried out for the purposes of the BA thesis. A qualitative method was used, namely an in-depth interview and participant observation. The aim of the article is to describe and explain how the social role of a social worker is shaped and played in the light of Erving Goffman’s dramatic concept on the basis of research carried out at the Municipal Social Welfare Center. Social workers and students of social work participated in the study. The main hypotheses adopted in this work are the assumptions that the social role of a social worker is shaped and played by participation in performances with a defined interactive order, and that each of the performances contains a defined interactive order to which certain, constant elements are subordinated. The collected data was analyzed using the Atlas.ti qualitative analysis software. The research shows that social workers shape and play their social role by preparing in the backstage and during performances on stages, which are: studies, internships and professional work both in the center and in the field.
