<p>The general objective of the research is to describe and analyze implementation of adopted artificial insemination (AI) innovation on slaughter cattle’s farmers. Specifically, is to describe and analyze the perception of slaughter cattle’s farmers on AI in the three locations of research. Locations of the research are Kecamatan Geger Kabupaten Bangkalan and Kecamatan Mantup Kabupaten Lamongan in East Java Province and Kecamatan Penebel Kabupaten Tabanan in Bali Province. This research was designed as a correlation descriptive survey by both quantitative and qualitative approach. The number of sample is 240 respondents -who is the acceptors of AI- and by approach of stratified random sampling method. Data collection was completed with questionnaires, interview and field observation. Kruskal-Wallis Test and U Mann-Whitney Test were applied to analyze the data sample. The result of the research showed that the perception of the farmers on most of AI’s aspects are significantly different among locations of the research, with the exception of the phenotipe (physical appearance) of breed cattle and the artificial insemination services by inseminators. To be suggested that socialization or extension on AI should be conducted by different approaches to fit the characteristic of internal and external and AI’s perception of the farmers.</p><p>Keywords: Perception, artificial insemination</p>

This study is aimed to determine and analyze the effect of the implementation of motivation and culture on the employees productivity at Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by stratified random sampling method, 95 people. The data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the implementation of motivation and culture had a positive and significant effect on the employess productivity at Huta padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera. The determination coefficient value of 0.882, indicates that the influence of the implementation of motivation and culture on the employess productivity of Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera is 88.2%. The culture has more dominant influence on the employees produktivity at  Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera, with a direct influence of 73,2%.

The objective of the present study is to investigate the relationship between managers’ professionalism and (technical, human, and perceptual) skills in managers of Iran Poly Akril Company. The research is an applied one in terms of objectives, and a descriptive-correlational in terms of method. The population includes all experts working in the company in 2012 as 240 individuals among who 144 participants were selected using the stratified random sampling method proportionate to the population size as the sample size. The data collection instruments were two researcher-made questionnaires of Managers’ skills containing 22 items and with the reliability coefficient as 0.96, and Professionalism containing 28 items and the reliability coefficient as 0.95. Their validity was investigated and confirmed by professors and experts of management. Analyzing data was conducted at the two level of descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, SD, and presentation of tables and charts) and inferential statistics (one sample t-test, correlation coefficient, regression coefficient, ANOVA, and F-test).

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo el análisis DAFO de la comercialización de la liga Premier de bádminton. Fue un estudio descriptivo-analítico. La población estadística incluyó 120 individuos que fueron expertos, reporteros, entrenadores y supervisores y vicepresidentes de las juntas provinciales, entre los cuales se seleccionaron 92 individuos como la muestra del estudio mediante un método de muestreo aleatorio estratificado. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo utilizando un cuestionario DAFO diseñado por un investigador que fue confirmado por 10 expertos universitarios y académicos. La confiabilidad del cuestionario se confirmó en base a un estudio primario en 30 individuos (alfa de Cronbach α = 0,88). Los resultados indicaron que la comercialización del bádminton de primera división tuvo 10 puntos fuertes, 10 puntos débiles y 10 amenazas, y se recomienda que se utilicen las oportunidades para convertir las amenazas en oportunidades y las debilidades en fortalezas para tener una liga más dinámica. The present study was aimed at SWOT analysis of the marketing of badminton premier league. It was a descriptive-analytical study. The statistical population included 120 individuals who were experts, reporters, coaches and supervisors, and vice-presidents of the provincial boards among whom 92 individuals were selected as the study sample by a stratified random sampling method. Data collection was carried out using a researcher-designed SWOT questionnaire that was confirmed by 10 university and academic experts. The reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed based on a primary study on 30 individuals (Cronbach’s Alpha α=0.88). The results indicated that marketing of badminton premier league had 10 strengths, 10 weaknesses, and 10 threats, and it is recommended that opportunities should be utilized to turn threats to opportunity and weaknesses to strengths in order to have a more dynamic league.

This study aims to analyze how much profit the farmers get in the activities of scallion farming in North Bongkudai Village, Mooat District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The study was conducted for 3 months from October to December 2018. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection is through direct interviews with 60 respondents using the stratified random sampling method. Interviews were conducted based on a previously prepared questionnaire, and secondary data was obtained from the Bolaang Mongondow East Agriculture Office, North Bongkudai Village Office, Sam Ratulangi University Faculty of Agriculture Library, and Local Book Stores. The analysis in this study is qualitative and quantitativeanalysis presented in table form and then described descriptively. The results showed that the amount of profit of the scallion farmers per bed in Bongkudai Utara village in the first strata (lower layer) was Rp.426,664, while for the second strata (middle layer) was Rp.439,185 and for the third strata (upper layer) was Rp. 1,227,853. The highest profit of scallion farmers in Bongkudai Utara Village is in the third strata, reaching Rp1,227,853 per bed.*lrr+eprm*


This study was aimed to assess prospects and challenges of micro and small scale enterprises in Adama city. A descriptive survey design was employed. A survey questionnaire which included both the close ended and the open ended questions, observation and document review were used as data collection tools of the study. The study used stratified random sampling technique to select the sample and accordingly about 116 MSE respondents were selected from a list of registered micro and small scale enterprises which obtained from Adama city micro and small scale development office. The result of the study showed that limited finance, lack of awareness about policies related to MSE, lack of business development services and internal management related problems are the major challenges of MSE in Adama city. This finding implicate for the need of further research by taking large sample from various micro and small scale enterprises.

Chicken meat is one of the livestock commodities that can meet the protein needs of the community, but there are constraints on the price side. The price of free-range chicken meat tends to fluctuate due to production and demand imbalances and has an impact on price increases. Therefore, there needs to be control so that price increases that occur in free-range chicken meat do not jump sharply The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the amount of freerange chicken meat’s consumption in Langkat Regency. The study was conducted in June - August 2018. The method that used in sampling was the proportionate stratified random sampling method and used the Slovin formula. Primary data collection was carried out by interview techniques using questionnaires to respondents and secondary data collection was obtained from the agencies and agencies assembled and then analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS 22 application. The results showed the amount of free-range chicken meat’s consumption in Langkat Regency was influenced partially by income and the number of family members with R² = 0.61.

Amil zaka in zaka institutions has the right as one of eight ashnaf. Their rights are usually used by zaka institutions as operational cost. However, not all of the intitutions which manage zaka take amil’s right, one of them is Yayasan Nurul Hayat. This institution does not take amil’s right and it is independent in its operational cost. To support this operational cost, Yayasan Nurul Hayat establish business unit with utilize its profit.This study aimed to discover the capability of business unit in supporting operational cost of Yayasan Nurul Hayat. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive case study method. The selections of informant are using purposive sampling method. Data collection was conducted by semi-structured interviews and documentation. This data is analyzed using descriptive method.The result of this study shows that Yayasan Nurul Hayat Employments’ Salary is taken from business unit’s profit. It is also used to give bonus for employments and grow the business unit of Yayasan Nurul Hayat up. From the result of this study, it can be concluded that the business unit which is developed has great capability to support operational cost of Yayasan Nurul Hayat.

ABSTRACT, This study aims to examine the influence of religious understanding on the performance of Madrasah Ibtidaiah teachers in Manado City. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative. This research is conducted in Madrasah Ibtidaiah in Manado City with the sample size of 96, selected from 127 teachers using proportional stratified random sampling. Data collection is done by using test and nontest instruments. The test is used to collect data on religious understanding and the nontest is used to collect the data of practice and performance. The collected data are then analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that religious understanding has a positive direct effect on teacher performance. To improve teachers’ performance, the efforts made, in relation to these variables, include improving teachers’ religious understanding by renewing teachers’ religious knowledge by strengthening faith and devotion to God, and increasing selfawareness that obedience and sincerity in applying it are inevitable.Keywords: Religious understanding, performance, teachersPengaruh Pemahaman Agama terhadap Kinerja Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiah di Kota Manado

<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><pre>ABSTRACT</pre><pre>               Considering the importance of arabica coffee commodity for farmers, a clear picture of arabica coffee marketing channel from producer farmer to final consumer (Merchant) is needed so that the profit can be equally distributed. This study aims to determine the marketing channel, margin, marketing efficiency of arabica coffee in the village of Sitinjo II, Sitinjo Subdistrict, Dairi Regency. The method used is proportionate stratified random sampling as much as 50 farmers while collecting merchant samples taken by census method that is as much as 5 traders and for the factory is taken as many as 2 factories with Purposive sampling method. The results showed that there are two channels of arabica coffee marketing at the location of research that is, the first channel starts from the farmer to the factory in the village Sitinjo II Sitinjo District. The second channel starts from the farmers, the collecting merchant proceeds to the factory in the village of Sitinjo II, Sitinjo Subdistrict. The biggest marketing margin is RP.4.000 found on channel II and the more efficient channel is on channel I with an efficiency value of 7.51%.</pre><p> </p>
