This study is entitled Cultural Values and the Existence of Oral Literature in Dayak Golik in Sanggau Regency. This study aims to obtain a complete picture of the cultural values contained in Dayak Golik oral literature and its existence at the present time. The theory used in this study is the concept of cultural values. Cultural values in the form of ideas that conceptualize most valuable in the fabric of people's lives. A cultural value system consists of conceptions that live and grow in the minds of most members of the community and that too is closely related to the things they consider to be very valuable in life. This research is a qualitative research in the literature perspective. The approach used in this study is a cultural and sociological approach. The cultural approach is used to analyze cultural values in the oral text of the Dayak Golik stories. Meanwhile, a sociological approach to analyzing the existence of oral literature at the present time in society. Data analysis shows that there are several cultural values which are contained from two oral literatures which are sampled. In the oral literature entitled The Seven Brothers, the value of bubaya contained includes always doing good to other creatures, pitying you, not being jealous, and being patient in facing trials. Meanwhile in the oral literature of Tangraya Cave the cultural values that exist include patience in facing trials, repaying evil with kindness, not being too greedy in life, and respecting guests.

AbstractThis study aims to analyze multiculturalism in Indonesia in terms of the diversity of cultural values in Indonesia as a form of creative community work.This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach, which describes multiculturalism in Indonesia as seen from the diversity of cultural values in Indonesia as a form of creative community work. The data source used in this study is literature related to multiculturalism in Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or verification.The research results point to multiculturalism as an approach and as a National Policy. As stated above, multiculturalism is an ideological way out of the problem of the decline in the forces of integration and awareness of nationalism of a nation as a result of changes at the global level. Oral literature in the midst of human civilization cannot be rejected because it is part of a social reality, especially for traditional communities. Social reality then turns into a set of bounded values and becomes local cognition of society that is called local wisdom. The perspective, the way of life and activity of traditional community is inseparable from those wisdom values. This study aims to reveal the cultural values that exist in Wae Susu Mujualu legend. Cultural value is the value omnipotence of God, honesty, human relationship with nature, and the value of responsibility. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis focusing on empirical data obtained in the field. To get accurate data hence researcher use interview technique, observation, and triangulation.Sastra lisan di tengah peradaban manusia tidak dapat ditolak karena iamenjadi bagian dari sebuah realitas sosial, apalagi bagi masyarakat tradisional.Realitas sosial itu kemudian berwujud menjadi tata nilai yang mengikat dan dijadikan sebagai pengetahuan lokal masyarakat pendukungnya yang disebut dengan kearifal lokal.Cara pandang, cara hidup, dan aktifitas hidup lainnya pada masyarakat tradisional tak dapat dilepaskan dari nilai-nilai kearifan itu.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap nilai-nilai budaya yang terdapat di dalam legenda Wae Susu Mujualu dengan instrumen utamanya adalah peneliti sendiri.Nilai-nilai budaya itu adalah nilai kemahakuasaan Tuhan, nilai kejujuran, hubungan manusia dengan alam, dan nilai tanggungjawab.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang memusatkan analisis pada data-data empiris yang diperoleh di lapangan.Untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat maka peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan triangulasi.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among demographic characteristic, cultural values, and travel motivations in regards to understanding the context of tourists motivation and how cultural values impact the travel motivation. The study was limited to the tourists who came to the attractive city of Chiang Mai during the research time period. The results indicated that demographic characteristic is a source of cultural values and cultural values impact the travel motivations of the tourists. Also, no significant relationship was found between demographic characteristic and travel motivations. Data analysis and implications are discussed and recommendations are provided.

More than the cultural values contained in the management of natural resources in Maluku will always include the principles and traditions of sasi and adat because they are an intrinsic part of a culture which for centuries has proven to be adaptive and resistant to external disturbances. The purpose of this study was to determine the orientation of the cultural value of sasi in Maluku. The method used is qualitative research, where observation, interviews and documentation are used to collect data from informants. The results showed that talking about cultural values in sasi would be related to the concept of the nature of human life, the work of human life, human position and space and time, the nature of man and nature as well as the relationship between humans and humans and other people. Where the culture of sasi illustrates what humans must do, It is hoped that sasi culture will remain a part of the Saparua indigenous people so that people will continue to choose the values of sasi cultural orientation so that social life and ecological life will continue to be sustainable from the control of sasi cultural values.

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui Stereotip yang melekat pada kehidupan waria dalam novel Rumah Ilalang karya Stebby Julionatan. Stereotip yang dimaksud adalah gambaran atau cerminan kehidupan waria yang terjadi pada lingkungan masyarakat dalam karya sastra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan Sosiologi Sastra. Sumber penelitian ini berasal dari novel Rumah Ilalang karya Stebby Julionatan. Data penelitian ini berupa kutipan, kalimat, dan paragraf yang berupa gambaran atau cerminan kehidupan waria. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode membaca Novel dan mengidentifikasikan konteks permasalahan yang akan diteliti. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Humberman melalui langkah-langkah (1) penyeleksian data, (2) pemaparan data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil memperlihatkan waria direpresentasikan dalam tiga aspek, yaitu (1) tidak beragama, (2) tidak memiliki pekerjaan yang tetap, (3) tidak diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat.KATA KUNCI: novel rumah ilalang; stereotip; waria STEREOTYPES OF TRANSVESTITE LIFE IN RUMAH ILALANG BY STEBBY JULIONATAN ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the stereotypes inherent in transvestite life in the Rumah Ilalang by Stebby Julionatan. This stereotype is a picture or reflection of transvestite life that occurs in the community environment in literary works in the form of novels. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative research with a sociological approach to literature. The source of this research is Rumah Ilalang by Stebby Julionatan. This research datas are the form of quotes, sentences, and paragraphs in the form of a picture or reflection of the life of transvestites. Data collection techniques are done by reading novels and identifying the context of the problem to be studied. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data analysis design presented by Miles and Humberman through the steps (1) selecting data, (2) disclosing data, and (3) drawing conclusions. The result show transgenders were represented in three aspects, namely (1) not having religion, (2) not having a permanent job, (3) not being well received by the community.KEYWORDS: rumah ilalang novels; stereotypes; transvestite

Kris as an artifact is an expression of community culture in the form of artifacts as the result of ideas and human behavior in the community (in this case Javanese society). Kris which was originally used as a bond in socio-cultural values turned into individual-cultural bonds that could be used as assets in business alternatives. To reach the objectives, the steps of research that are carried out with a qualitative research model with a cultural approach are needed, referring to the teachings of Javanese culture in accordance with the philosophy of Javanese culture. This research produces preservation kris, which is stored and treated as one of the culture of kelangenan, as a cultural heritage, and in conservation, namely conservation by trying to develop values in accordance with the social institutions of the community. Kris as a national cultural asset leads to a conservation-progressive force. The tough kris that develops in the kris community is revitalizing conservation (sanggit), vitally still referring to traditional art as its main reference. Kris in the latest development has become a trend in the development of the art business.

Techniques of collecting data using content analysis techniques and interview techniques. Data analysis techniques uses flow techniques which include three components, namely data reduction, data presentasion, and drawing conclusions.

This study aims to obtain an objective description of cultural values. Folklore as one of the oral literature of hereditary and contain a mandate to educate the next generation of folklore is an imaginary and fantasy stories that happened did not really happen. The events are recounted in folklore as lessons tend behavior. Folklore always tuck advice and moral element to the listener. Folklore is told primarily for entertainment, illustrate moral truths, and contains valuable lessons, or even satire against injustice. Theory is used as the basis for the development of the instrument is the theory of oral literature and fairy tale Aarne and Stith Thompson, James Danandjaja, and theories about cultural values Kluckhohn. In addition, the structural theory is also used to look at the structure of folklore. The data of this study is the folklore of North Sumatra which consists of four folklore. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and a sociological approach, with descriptive methods, and techniques of content analysis. The results showed that there were twelve cultural values in the folklore of North Sumatra.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi secara objektif tentang nilai budaya. Cerita rakyat sebagai salah satu sastra lisan yang turun-temurun dan mengandung amanat yang mendidik untuk generasi berikutnya cerita rakyat merupakan suatu cerita khayal dan fantasi yang kejadiannya tidak benar-benar terjadi. Kejadian-kejadian yang diceritakan dalam cerita rakyat cenderung sebagai pelajaran tingkah laku. Cerita rakyat selalu menyelipkan unsur nasihat dan moral bagi pendengarnya. Cerita rakyat diceritakan terutama untuk hiburan, melukiskan kebenaran moral, dan berisikan pelajaran berharga, atau bahkan sindiran terhadap ketidakadilan. Teori yang digunakan sebagai dasar pengembangan instrumen adalah teori sastra lisan dan dongeng Aarne dan Stith Thomson, James Danandjaja, dan teori tentang nilai budaya Kluckhohn. Di samping itu teori struktural juga dipakai untuk melihat struktur cerita rakyat. Data penelitian ini adalah cerita rakyat Sumatera Utara yang terdiri atas empat cerita rakyat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan pendekatan sosiologis, dengan metode deskriptif, dan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua belas nilai budaya dalam cerita rakyat Sumatera Utara.

AbstractThis study aims to describe, analyze the cultural values of duan lolat based on local wisdom in the Tanimbar community in West Southeast Maluku Regency (MTB). The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, data is collected through interviews, observation and literature studies as well as tracking related research results.The results of the study show that duan-lolat cultural values based on local wisdom remain alive and take root in the Tanimbar community as an entity or characteristic of the Tanimbar community, so they can contribute positively to the provision of development in this country. The spirit of mutual cooperation, social solidarity, compassion, independence and consensus in resolving community conflicts which are actually duan-lolat values, starting from being corrected (deconstructed) the meaning exchanged for the low value of duan-lolat, can also be transformed into the wisdom of the Tanimbar community.Keywords: Cultural Value, Duan Lolat and Local WisdomAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan, menganalisis Nilainilai budaya duan lolat berbasis kearifan lokal pada masyarakat Tanimbar di Kabupaten Maluku Tenggara Barat (MTB). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka serta penelusuran hasilhasil penelitian yang terkait.Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilainilai budaya duan-lolat yang berbasis kearifan lokal tetap hidup dan mengakar di masyarakat Tanimbar sebagai entitas atau ciri khas dari masyarakat Tanimbar, sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mengisi pelaksanaan pembangunan di negeri ini. Semangat gotong royong, solidaritas sosial, bela rasa, kemandirian dan kemufakatan dalam menyelesaikan konflik masyarakat yang sejatinya merupakan nilainilai duan-lolat muali mengalami pergeseran (dekonstruksi) makna sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya derajat nilai duan-lolat itu sendiri sebagai sebuah kearifan lokal yang dianut oleh masyarakat Tanimbar.Kata Kunci : Nilai Budaya, Duan Lolat dan Kearifan Lokal

 “Pappaseng” is an oral literature spoken by “to riyolo na Ugi'e” (ancestor of the Bugis tribe) to give a message to “ana 'monri'e” (young generation) so as not to fall into the things that are not desirable. While the Quran and the hadth is a way of life for Muslims that contains values from all aspects of human life, including the one is about moral messages, ethics and rule of interaction. Both become the basis of life of Bugis tribe people in living their lives and interact with each other. This research is a qualitative research with a cultural approach to search for the educational hadith relationship with the advice “Bugis pappaseng” form as a repertoire of science in the Bugis society. And obtained the result that the value contained in “pappaseng” always connected directly with the content of the educational hadith, such as courage, honesty, work ethic of faith and so forth.
