Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara learning style dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V di MIN 2 Palembang. Pendekatan dan metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitafif desain korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang ada di MIN 2 Palembang berjumlah 261 siswa. Sampel ditentukan dari populasi menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 148 siswa. Data tentang learning style dikumpulkan dari pengisian angket learning style oleh responden, sedangkan hasil belajar didapat dari hasil post-test siswa. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa untuk learning style visual rhitung (0.172) rtabel (0.1698), auditorial rhitung (0.251) rtabel (0.3172), kinestetik rhitung (0.127) rtabel (0.3009). Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian maka hipotesis nol (Ho) diterima dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak (auditorial dan kinestetik). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara learning style (auditorial dan visual) dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V di MIN 2 Palembang. This study aims to determine the correlation between learning style and student’s academic achievement of mathematics the fifth grade students at MIN 2 Palembang. This types of research are quantitative, correlation design. The population of this study was 261 students and 148 were taken as the sample by purposive sampling. The data collected are the results of filling the learning style and mathematics test by the respondents. The results of data analysis obtained for visual tcount (0.172) ttable (0.1698), while auditorial tcount (0.251) ttable (0.3172), cinestethic tcount (0.127) ttable (0.3009). Based on the criteria of test, the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is rejected for auditorial and cinestethic. So it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between learning style (auditorial and cinestethic) and student’s academic achievement of mathematics the fifth grade students at MIN 2 Palembang.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of using PowerPoint presentations in academic achievement of Social and National Studies in the fifth grade students at-risk for learning disabilities at Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The sample of the study consisted of (10) students at-risk for learning disabilities; it was divided randomly into two equal groups: control and experimental. The students in the experimental group have studied the first unit who it consists of five lessons in Social and National Studies by using PowerPoint presentations; however, the students in the control group were received their teaching by using traditional tool (blackboard and chalk). The Social and National Studies Academic Achievement Test: was applied for two groups as pre-test and post-test. Results revealed that the students taught Social and National Studies with PowerPoint presentations performed better than their counterparts taught with traditional tool (blackboard and chalk) in favor of the students in the experimental group.

The research was conducted in SDN Gebang 04 Jember in order to investigate a significant influence of the use of mind mapping learning strategy to the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students in learning science with earth structures as the topic. This research was an experimental research. The research design was pre-experimental utilizing intact-group comparison. The subjects of the research were as many as 44 students consisting of 22 students of class VA and 22 students of class VB. The data was collected from post-test. The research results showed that the post-test average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. The average score of the experimental class was 83.54 while the average score of the control class was 74.23. Due to the difference between the two scores, independent test was administered. From the test it was obtained that tcomputation = 4.195 with significance value of p = 0.000. Because the coefficient was less than 0.05, null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The results indicated that there was a significant influence of mind mapping learning strategy towards students’ learning outcomes.

The aim of this research is to know whether or not Cartoon Movie is effective in teaching vocabulary at the fifth grade students of SDN Bunklotok Batujai Lombok Tengah. The research is conducted for one month at the first semester year students of SDN Bunklotok Batujai Lombok Tengah. During the period of time, the sample is treated by using Cartoon Movie. The result of the research reveals that mean score of post-test is (15.93) higher than pre-test is (8.31). On the other hand, the standard deviation of posttest is (3.305) higher than pre-test is (2.523) under the identification of t-test formula, it is found that the value of it is 10.820 higher than t-table is (2.048), with the degree of freedom (df) was 29-1=28 for confidence level of 0.05% or 95%. From this point, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis is accepted stating that Cartoon Movie is effective in teaching English vocabulary for the fifth grade students of SDN Bunklotok Batujai Lombok Tengah.

This research is to determine the effect of realistic mathematical approach on students’ learning motivation. The research method is pre-experiment of one group pretest posttest design. This study was conducted with 34 fifth grade students from a public school in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The results indicate that students’ learning motivation significantly increases. Among six indicators measuring students’ learning motivation, the indicator of interesting activities in learning is the most increase, from 80.76% in pre-test to 86.40% in post-test. The average score of pretest in form of students’ learning motivation questionnaire before applying treatment was 90.56 while score posttest after treatment was 95,09 and the results of the research hypotheses using the comparative t-test tcount (6.997) > ttable (2.039). This means that there is an effect of applying the realistic mathematical approach to students’ learning motivation.

This research is based on the problem of the low student learning outcomes in science learning at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Klepu, Sleman Regency. The teacher still uses a conventional learning model so that the learning atmosphere becomes rigid and ultimately makes student learning outcomes lower. Therefore the teacher seeks to use the Discovery Learning learning model to create an interesting and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of science through the Discovery Learning learning model in fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Klepu Sleman Regency Academic Year 2018/2019. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Klepu Sleman Regency. Data was collected using observation sheets and test questions. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that learning through the Discovery Learning learning model can improve student science learning outcomes. The average value of post-test Cycle I is 62.2 and the percentage of mastery learning is 9.5%. In the second cycle the average score of the post-test increased to 80.91 and the percentage of mastery learning was 76.2%. Based on data obtained from the study, it can be concluded that learning through the Discovery Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Video song media was a medium that presents material in the form of text and images as well as monologue sound about the material so that students can watch and listen to videos in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the video song media in increasing understanding of Arabic vocabulary. This research was a quantitative research. This research was conducted at SD Muahmmadiyah 8 KH Mas Mansur Malang. The subjects taken from this study were the VA class, which amounted to 25 students from a population of 79 students using purposive sampling technique. In this study, data collection techniques were carried out in the form of interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The instrument used in the interview is the interview sheet, while the questionnaire instrument sheet is a questionnaire sheet consisting of several questions related to the video song media, the instrument sheet used in the test is a test question in the form of an interactive online game, the tests used are pretest and posttest. To find out the results of the data in this study the researcher used the T test for the related sample, while to determine the effectiveness of the video media, the researcher used the N-gain formula. The collected research data is presented with descriptive statistics in the calculation of processing using SPSS 20.               As for the results and testing of the hypothesis, "the video song media was effective for improving understanding of Arabic vocabulary. This is evidenced by the results obtained from the pre-test value which is smaller than the post-test value or 85.08 <93.20. Based on the output table "Paired Samples Test" it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05, meaning that the video song media can improve the understanding of Arabic vocabulary for the fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 8 KH Mas Mansur Malang

Building on the increasing number of programs designed to enhance brain development, a program developed in Korea, Brain Respiration, was adapted to a school in Nevada. Classes were offered twice weekly to a class of fourth and fifth grade students with control group classes assessed in the same school. Self-report surveys, teacher observations, and standardized reading and math scores were used to determine effects of the program on the students. Some differences were found in the pretest for the survey and the observation, with control groups scoring higher. There were differences in some post-test scores, with treatment group children scoring higher when differences did occur. There also were differences in the reading and math scores, with control groups scoring higher than the overall treatment group, but not higher when compared to those actively participating in the program. Such differences are discussed as well as other issues possibly influencing the effects.

The objective of this research entitled “IMPROVING ENGLISH VOCABULARY BY USING TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE (TPR) METHOD TO THE FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SDN PASIRKALIKI 1 CIMAHI” was to find out whether or not teaching English Vocabulary using Total Physical Response Method was effective to improve the students’ vocabulary ability. The research used quantitative method and one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was 31 of the fifth grade elementary school while the sample was entire population. They are consisted of 31 students. The data of this research were collected by giving pretest and posttest to the subject. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of the data analysis showed that: the mean score of pretest was 44.61, the mean score of posttest was 44.83, the tobs was 2.442, the tcritical value at the significance level 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) 30 was 2.042. Based on the data analysis above, the alternative hypothesis was accepted because the tobs was higher than t critical (2.442>2.042). It also meant that improving English vocabulary using Total Physical Response Method was effective to improve the students’ vocabulary ability. Keywords: Vocabulary, Total Physical Response Method

ABSTRAK : Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemanfaatan kecanggihan teknologi di era globalisasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Dalam hal ini peneliti membuat inovasi untuk menggunakan aplikasi instagram pada proses pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Instagram terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V mata pelajaran Matematika materi Volume Bangun Ruang di SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental). Berdasarkan dari hasil dan pembahasan diperoleh simpulan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi instagram terhadap hasil belajar siwa kelas V Mata Pelajaran Matematika materi Volume Bangun Ruang di SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. Hal tersebut dilihat dari hasil uji independent t-test yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2- tailled) ≤ 0,05 yang bernilai 0,017 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. ABSTRACT : This research is based on the rapid development of information technology that can be used in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Instagram application on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in Mathematics in the material of Space Volume at SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. This type of research is experimental research. The research design used is Quasi Experimental or quasi-experimental. The population used in this studyis class V at SDN Bakung Temenggungan. The sample used in this study is nonprability sampling, namely class A as many as 20 students and class B 20 students. The data collection technique was carried out in three stages, namely pretest, treatment, and post test. The data analysis technique used the normality test, homogeneity test and t test. The conclusion of this research is the influence of the Instagram application on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in mathematics subject matter volume building space at SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. Recommendations for further research are to use the Instagram application as a learning medium for both mathematics and other subjects

This study aimed at investigating of the effect of using word family game committed by the fifth grade student in SD Negeri 1 Astina in mastering the English vocabulary. This study was True-Experimental with post-test only control group design. The population was 59 students of the fifth grade and the sample was selected by using cluster random sampling. The sample of this research study was 22 students in 5A as an Experimental Group while 22 students in 5B as a Control Group. The experimental group was taught by using Word Family Game and control group was taught without using Word Family Game. The data was analyzed descriptively and inferentially through SPSS 16.0 Program. Descriptively, the students in experimental group were achieved better than the students in control group. It was proven by the result of the mean score of the experimental group was 90.45, while the mean score of control group was 83.18. The result of the t-test also showed that the score of the (tobs) was 3.393 which the score of (tcv) was 1.682 which based on the degree of freedom was 42. It showed that the (tobs) > (tcv), where: 3.393 > 1.682. It could be concluded that the word family game had a significant effect on the students’ vocabulary mastery rather than using conventional teaching.
