The modern trend of land lease relations in agriculture, singled out the existing problems and ways to solve them. Genesis of the land lease relations development in the agrarian sector of the economy of Ukraine is studied. Сurrent trends in the agricultural sector are revealed. The general approaches to establishing leasing relations as an important component of land use are defined. The authors show that land lease is the main direction of land shares’ (pay) applied in Ukraine by owners, who have received certificates about the land transfer act. Tendencies of change in the rent value for agricultural lands, dynamics of forms of rent for land shares (pay) and subject structure of signed agreements on land shares (pay) lease, structure by contract duration of signed agreements on land shares (pay) lease in Ukraine are determined. The distribution of leases by subject composition and in terms of making. Revealed a gradual reduction in the number of contracts concluded for a period of 1-3 years and the increasing number of medium- and long-term lease. The existing trends in forms of rent calculation for land shares, namely, money, natural, the labor were defined. It was established that the natural form of payment remains dominant . The projected values of rent for land shares are calculated.

The necessity of modernization and reequipment of production process in the agricultural sector was validated, which is important sector in the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The paper covers issues on expansion of research works in the agricultural sector, implementation of results of research work into the production process, intensification of innovative activities. Also, the possibility of non-budgetary financing of scientific-research process in the agrarian sector was considered. The mechanism of financing was proposed for solving the problem of lack of financial resources and introduction of complete scientific product. Author supports the argument that sustainable development of agricultural production is only possible through development of scientifically intense production based on scientific products and author’s view is given on the main directions of science that need to be supported as a foundation of further development of scientifically intense agricultural production.

The paper concentrates on researching the possibilities of using modern information technologies in animal production in order to monitor and identify behavior and well-being of cows. Having in mind the challenges related to managing dairy herds, and economic pressure put on breeders (as well as the broadly defined well-being of animals), an endeavor was made to create a new method, which would be competitive in comparison with the existing solutions. The proposed method of collecting data and data processing with beacon devices as well as data warehouse, allows—according to the authors—a more complete identification of behaviors and physiological condition of a dairy herd. It is also worth pointing out that this method is competitive in terms of price. By virtue of the multitude of data that were collected, a decision was made to resign from processing data on a local computer and use a cloud compute engine instead. The presented information system creates a sequence of components, which were subject to verification both on the level of creating and conducting research. Research results that were received were then compared with knowledge presented in the literature. A vital element of validation of the aforementioned methodology was comparing results that were achieved in the course of research work with the system making use of pedometer. The aim of the authors was to develop a new information technology solution, as well as a method based on beacons, which are rather universal devices, with the use of data warehouses, allowing the identification of behavior and physiological state of milk cattle, the method which would be competitive in comparison with the existing solutions, especially in terms of price. In the proposed solution, both information coming from microcomputers and weather forecast data coming from weather forecast stations, which make the above identification easy, were used as data sources.

The European Green Deal aims to make Europe the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050 by shifting to a clean circular economy, combating biodiversity loss and reducing pollution levels. In Poland, whose economy invariably remains one of the most dependent on coal consumption in Europe, institutional responses to the above EU objectives have taken the shape of energy cooperatives aimed at filling the gaps in the development of the civic dimension of energy on a local scale and the use of potential renewable energy sources in rural areas, including in relation to the agricultural sector. This article is a continuation of the authors’ previous research work, which has so far focused on the analysis of the development of profitability of Polish institutions that fit into the European idea of a “local energy community”, which includes energy cooperatives. In this research paper, they present the results of subsequent research work and analyses performed on the basis of it which, on the one hand, complement the previously developed optimization model with variables concerning actual energy storage and, on the other hand, analyze the profitability of the operation of energy cooperatives in the conditions of the “capacity market”. The latter was actually introduced in Poland at the beginning of 2021. The research took account of the characteristics of energy producers and consumers in rural areas of Poland, the legally defined rules for the operation of the capacity market and the institutional conditions for the operation of energy cooperatives that can use the potential of energy storage. A dedicated mathematical model in mixed integer programming technology was used, enriched with respect to previous research, making it possible to optimize the operation of energy cooperative with the use of actual energy storage (batteries). Conclusions from the research and simulation show that the installation of energy storage only partially minimizes the volume of energy drawn from the grid in periods when fees related to the capacity market are in force (which should be avoided due to higher costs for consumers). The analysis also indicates that a key challenge is the proper parameterization of energy storage.

The study of the state of health of the population requires special attention due to the difficult socio-economic situation in which the entire national economy and, above all, the agricultural sector found itself. The labor intensity of workers in this industry directly depends on the season of the year, mechanized labor-intensive processes, labor supply. Of particular concern are the unfavorable tendencies that are now manifesting themselves more vividly. The agrarian sector of Tatarstan employs about 400 thousand people, of which almost 300 thousand are directly in agriculture.

The purpose of the article is to highlight the conceptual understanding of the cluster as an innovative organizational and economic form of production in the system of sustainable development on the example of the agricultural sector and substantiate the scientific basis for ensuring its implementation at the regional level. Research methods. When carrying out the research, a set of general scientific methods and techniques was used; monographic - in the study of domestic and foreign publications and the above-mentioned problems; a systematic approach based on the principles of systems analysis and synthesis - to substantiate the relationship between sustainable development, the efficiency of agricultural production and the cluster model; abstract-logical - for the theoretical generalization of research results and determination of measures to ensure the implementation of the cluster model of agricultural development; economic analysis - to study the efficiency of agricultural production. Research results. The essence of the cluster in modern economic theory in the context of the concept of sustainable development has been studied and analyzed. Globalization, climate change and the aggravation of socio-economic and environmental problems in many countries of the world necessitate the search for new models of economic development. It has been established that one of the most optimal organizational and economic forms of effective agricultural production in the system of sustainable development is clusters. On the example of the Kirovograd region, a scientifically grounded regional model of the development of agro-clusters in the agro-industrial complex. Scientific novelty. Based on the synthesis of scientific theories of cluster and sustainable development, further study of theoretical and methodological approaches to the definition of the essence of clusters as a promising organizational and economic form of effective agricultural production in the system of sustainable development was obtained. Practical significance. The research results will find practical use in substantiating regional strategies for the development of agro-industrial production.
