The pandemic has an impact on the world of economy, society and education. The problems that occur in the Jajar hamlet community are a lack of understanding of the dangers of COVID-19 and non-compliance with health protocols. TPQ Al-Khodijah and the Al-Falah mosque are active assistance partners in religious activities, but they have not implemented health protocols as an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Efforts are being made to conduct socialization and training on making face masks (in the form of masks and face shields) with the aim that they can adopt healthy living habits by using masks and can make face masks that are economical and environmentally friendly independently. The approach used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) and uses the service learning method. The importance of knowledge of the dangers of COVID-19 and how to prevent it as a pillar to make the general public aware of the dangers of COVID-19 and adhere to health protocols during this pandemic, so that people are safe even though they have to live side by side with Covid-19 in an unpredictable period.

Have been done community service activities such as the identification and provision of facilities requiring increased to accommodate Islamic religious activities, community involvement as a partner with which the Badan Kemakmuran Masjid (BKM) Serikat Amal Baik Mosque and SDIT Zahira school in Kelurahan Sei Kera Hilir I Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan, Kota Medan. Succession of transfer of energy-saving knowledge and training within the framework of Islamic spiritual education development in a sustainable manner. The concept of education link and match between the world of education with the implementation of direct education (practice) on the field is done in this activity by linking (linkage activity method) between SDIT educational activities by utilizing as part of religious practice is a real education. The result of this increase in worship facilities helped accommodate the nation's next generation of Islamic worship activities, SDIT Zahira students joined the surrounding community in an effort to promote the prosperity of Islam as well as preserving the architectural artifacts of the Amal Good Union mosque as the identity and landmark of Gang Sado, Medan.

Social problems are problems that are deeply rooted in every country, including Indonesia. This problem penetrates into all fields, one of which is education. Plus the COVID-19 pandemic situation has also brought up many new problems in the world of education. The learning that was applied during this pandemic made a new learning transformation from what was originally offline to online. 80% of all parents of SDN Nguling I, II and III state that their children have difficulty understanding the material when learning online. Online School Assistance through SIPUNG is a concrete solution to improve the quality and understanding of student learning during online learning. By using the service learning method, it is proven to be able to improve the quality and understanding of students, students understand the importance of learning and parents are increasingly aware of the importance of providing the best assistance in order to achieve the success of children's education.

Writing opinions for teachers is very important. To improve the competence of teachers, it is necessary to write popular writing such as writing articles or opinions. Therefore, teachers in high school / MA equivalent schools are required to be able to create interactive learning media, including teachers at MA NU Tasywiquth Thullab Salafiyyah (TBS) Kudus. The problem is, not all teachers can write well. There are many Indonesian language teachers in the school. However, not many who have good writing skills. In other words there is still much to learn and practice writing directly. Based on interviews, Indonesian language teachers at MA NU TBS, writing for them is very important. Moreover, the demands of the 2013 curriculum. However, in these schools, teachers still have difficulty making good opinion writing. Based on this greeting, community service was carried out in the form of mentoring and training to write opinions for Indonesian language teachers at MA NU TBS Kudus. This community service is carried out using the asset based community development (ABCD) approach. This activity was carried out well. After training and mentoring the teacher's ability to write opinions becomes better. Other indicators of community coding are the results of the assisted subjects, most of whom stated that the teacher's writing ability was improved and the training was very useful.

This scientific journals aims to show the benefits of jeans waste that can be used for materials that can beused for everyday use. This scientific journal is based on previous research by making alternative productdesigns and prototypes ranging from branding to goods that are ready to be sold and marketed. The productdeveloped is called U-jeans and consists of several types of designs and functions that are all made from usedjeans. This research helps researchers find solutions to reduce jeans waste by product design that attractsconsumers’ attention. The subjects in the previous research were teenagers and the subjects of this scientificjournal were students and the general public. The data collection technique was carried out by survey andobservation while the data analysis technique was carried out using the service learning method with threestages namely pre-production, production and post-production. The results of the research and scientificjournal writing are that researchers gain knowledge and experience that can be disseminated so that they canform a community in the processing of used jeans waste not only by making into items that will be usedprivately but into goods that have functions and aesthetics to be marketed.

The Adoption of Service Learning in Universities Around The World In the United States, service learning has proven to be an effective means for both education and for community development. It seems logical to assume that service learning would be similarly effective in other countries. However, universities in other countries operate quite differently from universities in the U. S. Discussions with professors from the former Soviet Union and Southeast Europe produced a list of obstacles to transferring service learning to other countries. This paper suggests some ways of minimizing these obstacles. As service learning is implemented in universities around the world, opportunities for people to learn from the experiences of others will increase.

The environment can be interpreted as everything existing around humans and affecting the development of their life. A clean environment is expected by everyone but it becomes a monolithic challenge to actualize. However, people’s bustle and other reasons may emerge as the primary factors of ignoring their surroundings, notably the home environment. Ciangir final landfill located in Tamansari village, Tamansari subdistrict, Tasikmalaya town is the sole final landfill for the entire people in Tasikmalaya town. For this reason, this program aimed at educating people through Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to managing garbage. In particular, it prioritizes the utilization of assets and potentials owned by the community in their surroundings. Since people are a valuable asset for a village, optimizing human resources (e.g. family welfare program women community) through skills mentoring and training about Ecobrick remains pivotal.

Abstract The kibbutzim were established over a century ago, obtaining their power from communist and socialist ideologies. In spite of enormous changes, all over the world as well as in Israel, particularly the collapse of Communism and the rise of a capitalistic liberal Western lifestyle, the kibbutzim have maintained their basic social structure. Consequently, the question this research examines is what exactly are the social mechanisms that have enabled this continuity over the years. The answer that this article presents focuses on internal governance as a democratic apparatus. Given that the study of internal governance is an accepted method, the authors surveyed internal governance documents that relate to education and that are openly presented to the general public on the renewal kibbutzim sites. The authors fostered a holistic model developed by Rosenthal (1980), in order to indicate the exact roles of internal governance. Their findings establish the concept that internal governance proves to be a good option for community development and preservation. However, there seems to be a lack of awareness of the possibility of using internal governance more widely as a factor that contributes to the development and preservation of the kibbutz.

Time continues to rotate but the world of Islamic education, which is an inseparable part of the national education system, has the same role as one of the agents of social change, of course, the essence must still be maintained even though innovation changes with time and time shifts. Its existence and existence are also demanded to be able to compensate for the atmosphere of change (modernization) and the Industrial Era 4.0 or millennial era which penetrated into various aspects of life. In the current era (the era now) the world of education must reform with the pressure to create a more comprehensive and flexible education system, so that graduates can function effectively in the life of a democratic global society. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 9 Medan, Jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X DKV 1 yang berjumlah 36 orang siswa terdiri dari 20 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar sketsa, melalui motode demonstrasi dan latihan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang di temukan oleh peneliti, masih rendahnya hasil belajar sketsa siswa. Peneliti melakukan pre test untuk mengetahui kondisi awal sebelum dilaksanakannya tindakan persiklus. Hasil pre test menunjukkan masih rendahnya ketuntasan belajar siswa, dari 36 orang siswa hanya 7 orang siswa (19,4%) yang tuntas dalam pembelajaran sketsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan motode pembelajaran demonstrasi dan latihan. Pada siklus I diperoleh 24 orang siswa (66,7%) yang tuntas dan 12 orang siswa (33,3%) yang tidak tuntas. Dengan begitu, peneliti melanjutkan ke siklus II dengan perolehan 35 orang siswa (97,2%) yang tuntas dan 1 orang siswa (2,8%) tidak tuntas dalam pembelajaran sketsa. Terdapat peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 30,5%, maka peneliti tidak melanjutkan ke siklus berikutnya. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan motode pembelajaran demonstrasi dan latihan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan belajar sketsa pada siswa kelas X DKV 1 di SMK Negeri 9 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, sketsa, demonstrasi, latihan.AbstractThis research was conducted at SMK Negeri 9 Medan. The research employs a classroom action research method. The research subject was the ten grade students of DKV 1 with a total of 36 students consist of 20 men and 16 women. This research aims to improve skectch learning outcomes through demonstration and training method. Based on the results of preliminary observations found by researcher, the researcher found the low student sketch learning outcomes. The researcher used a pre-test to determine the initial conditions before the pre-cycle action was carried out. The result of pre-test showed that students' learning completeness was still low. From 36 students only 7 students (19,4%) who complete in sketching learning. This research was taught by using demonstration and training learning method. In cycle I, there were 24 students (66,7%) was complete and 12 students (33,3%) was incomplete. Therefore, the researcher proceed to cycle II with the acquisition of 35 students (97,2%) was complete and 1 students (2,8%) was incomplete in sketch learning. There was increase from cycle I to cycle II of 30,5%, the researcher does not proceed to the next cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of demonstration and training method can improve the ability in sketch learning of the ten grade students DKV I at SMK Negeri 9 Medan in the academic year 2019/2020.
