Peran lembaga Hukum Adat laot masing sangat mengakar pada masyakarat nelayan yang ada ada diwilayah  pesisir Provinsi Aceh. Keberadaannya bukan hanya sebatas mengatur kegiatan-kegiatan seremonial adat namun juga mengatur hubungan antara nelayan dengan pemilik modal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Lembaga Hukum Adat Laot dalam mengatur Sistem bagi hasil antara  antara nelayan perikanan tangkap dengan pemodal  di Kabupaten Aceh Barat.metode penelitian digunakan adalah metode survey dengan analisis data melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif berrdasarkan jawaban quisioner pada saat wawancara dengan responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  persentase sumber modal nelayan perikanan  tangkap masih sebahgian besar berasal dari Tauke bangku dan sumber sendiri. Sistem bagi hasil perikanan tangkap mengikat tiga pihak meliputi; (1) pemilik perahu/boat,  (2) pawang pukat dan aneuk pukat serta (3)  tauke bangku dan masing memiliki kewajiban dan hak yang harus dipenuhi. Kepatuhan terhadap Ketentuan hukum adat laot tentang bagi hasil antara nelayan dan pemilik modal dengan menjunjung kemaslahatan hubungan antara pemilik modal dengan pawang dan aneuk pukat masih berlaku dan diterapkan pada kehidupan nelayan perikanan tangkap di Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Role of Laot Customary Law institution still deeply exists in the fishermen society existing at coastal region of Aceh province. Its existence is not only to regulate the tradition ceremonial activities but also to regulate the relationship of  fishermen and the investor. This study aimed to determine the role of Laot Customary Law Institution in regulating the system of profit sharing between the fishermen with the investor at  West Aceh district. Research method used was survey method with data analysis through quantitative and qualitative approaches based on the answers of questionnaires during interviewing respondents. The results showed that the percentage of capital sources of fishermen was mostly from the their boss called tauke bangku and their own capital. Fishery profit sharing system involved three parties such as; (1) the boat owner, (2) the trawl handler and trawl crew and (3) tauke bangku. Each party had obligations and rights that must be fulfilled. Compliance onto the regulation of laot customary law about profit sharing between fishermen and investor by holding the benefits of the relationship of among capital owners, trawl handler and trawl crew was still valid and applicable to the life of fishermen at West Aceh.

This study aimed to investigate the connection of brand empowerment with employee brand understanding, brand psychological ownership, and brand consistent behavior. Secondly, mediating role of brand psychological ownership and employee brand understanding in the relationship of brand empowerment and brand consistent behavior was also examined. Survey method was used to collect data from 274 employees of banking sector through multistage sampling. Measures of Brand Consistent Behavior Scale (King, Grace, & Funk, 2012), Employee Brand Understanding Scale (Piehler et al., 2016), Brand Psychological Ownership Scale (Chang et al., 2012), and Brand Empowerment Scale (King, So, & Grace, 2013) were used. Results affirmed the positive relationship between brand empowerment with brand psychological ownership and employee brand understanding. Moreover, brand psychological ownership and employee brand understanding had positive relationship with brand consistent behavior of the employees. Findings further indicated that the relationship of brand empowerment and brand consistent behavior was mediated by brand psychological ownership and employee brand understanding. Implications of the study were also discussed.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of emotion perception ability through two different paradigms (self-report and ability-based) on an individual's motivation to lead, an individual's desire to assume leadership roles. Design/methodology/approach – The authors have used a survey method in this study. The authors collected data from 172 undergraduate students. Findings – The findings indicate that emotion perception ability was significantly related to MTL. The authors also found that emotion perception ability was more substantially related to the non-calculative dimension of MTL than others. Originality/value – To the authors' knowledge, this is the first study to show the relationship of emotion perception ability to motivation to lead. Organizations can use the finding to screen and train future leaders using an ability-based test of emotion perception similar to one the authors have presented.

One of the characteristics of industry 4.0 is that consumers increasingly want products to be made just for themselves. This can be supported by the presence of big data, which of course cannot be separated from the use of information, the more complete the data, the more precise and accurate the targeting will be. However, the use of information for some people can also be considered a violation of privacy. Various research about personalized advertising been tested and have yielded mixed results both positive and negative on perceptions and behaviour, and provide directions for next research to testing various consumer factors as moderating variable. This study aims to fill the gaps in previous research by examining the role of consumer privacy concerns as a moderating variable that affects the relationship of personalized advertising on the perceived advertising value of consumers using a survey method on 131 respondents who are active users of Instagram in Indonesia. The findings of this study that advertising personalization have a positive effect on advertising value and purchase intention and privacy concerns do not moderate the effect of personalized advertising on advertising value. This is influenced by the factor of respondents aged 17-25 years, where they can be said to be the Tech Savvy generation. Further research suggestions are also discussed in this study.

Based on institutional theory, the current study examines the relationship of coordination, job security, psychological safety, and coercive pressure with employees’ performance. Further, coercive pressure is treated as a boundary condition between coordination, job security, and psychological safety with employees’ performance. A survey method was used to collect data from 235 faculty members of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Pakistan. Study results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between job security and coordination with employees’ performance. The results also reveal that coercive pressure moderates job security, coordination, and psychological safety with employees’ performance. Implications for organizations and HEIs administration are discussed.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dasar yang bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi karakteristik nelayan perikanan tangkap yang ada di Kota Lhokseumawe (Studi Kasus di Perkampungan Nelayan Pusong), serta (2) menganalisis  persepsi nelayan  perikanan tangkap terhadap peranan Lembaga Hukum Adat Laot  (LHAL) yang merupakan kearifan lokal yang ada di lingkungan domisili mareka. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan analisis datanya dengan pendekatan  kualitatif dengan mengunakan data tabulasi quisioner hasil wawancara dengan rensponden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan karakteristik umur nelayan berada pada umur produktif dengan tingkat pendidikan formal dan nonformal yang masih rendah, pengalaman sebagai nelayan perikanan tangkap yang lama namun mayoritas tidak memiliki sarana kapal dan alat tangkap sendiri. Persepsi nelayan perikanan tangkap tentang peranan Lembaga Hukum Adat Laot (LHAL) secara berjenjang adalah (1) peran LHAL dalam menyelesaikan peselisihan dan persengketaan antar nelayan, (2) peranan LHAL dalam mengawasi ketentuan hukum adat laot, (3) Peranan LHAL sebagai penghubung antara pemerintah dengan nelayan dan (4) peranan LHAL sebagai pelaksana upacara adat laot.This study was basic study that aimed to (1) identify the characteristics of fishermen existing at Lhokseumawe City (Case Study at Pusong Village), and (2) analyze the perception of fishermen onto the role of Laot Customary Law Institution which was a local wisdom in  their domicily  environment. The research method used was survey method while the data analysis by using qualitative approach with tabulated quitionary data of renspondents. The results showed that the characteristics of fishermen age was in the productive age with the levels of formal and non-formal education were still low. The experience as a fisherman was already long experience, but the majority of them did not have their own boat and fishing equipments. Perception of fishermen onto the role of Laot Customary Law Institution were (1) the role of Laot Customary Law Institution in solving disputes and unpleasantness among fishermen, (2) the role of Laot Customary Law Institution in supervising the provision of laot customary law, (3) The role of Laot Customary Law Institution as a connector for both the government and fishermen (4) the role of Laot Customary Law Institution as executive agent of laot ceremonies.

Kethoprak Ringkes sebagai salah satu grup kethoprak yang ada di Yogyakarta memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Banyolan para aktor sarat akan edukasi perihal seni tradisi dan keseharian masyarakat setempat. Meskipun demikian, ada beberapa hal yang tidak dapat dimaknai begitu saja. Adanya semiotika dari Ferdinand De Saussure ini dapat dijadikan sebagai teori dengan tujuan menganalisis pada tataran paling sederhana. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komponen linguistik salah satu pertunjukan Kethoprak Ringkes yang berjudul “Sampek Eng Tay (Korban Multi Krisis)”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni analisis kualitatif, dimulai dengan reduksi data hingga membuat kesimpulan. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan adanya analisa lima dialog menggunakan analisis penanda-petanda, hubungan dua kosakata dengan analisis in present-in absentia, dan lima dialog lainnya menggunakan analisis poros kombinasi dan poros seleksi. Penggunaan berbagai kosakata ini melibatkan sistem tanda dengan semiotika Saussure. Upaya pemaknaan ini bisa dilakukan dalam rangka mengedukasi khalayak umum tentang peran seni pertunjukan bagi masyarakat. Kethoprak Ringkes, as one of the kethoprak groups in Yogyakarta, has its uniqueness. The jokes of the actors are full of education about traditional arts and local people's daily life. However, some things cannot be taken for granted. The semiotics from Ferdinand De Saussure can be used as a theory to analyze it at the most superficial level. This study aims to analyze the linguistic component of the Kethoprak Ringkes performances entitled "Sampek Eng Tay (Multi Crisis Victim)". The research method used is qualitative analysis, starting with data reduction to making conclusions. The results obtained show five dialogues using analysis of signifier-signified, the relationship of two vocabulary words with analysis in present-in absentia, and the other five dialogues using combination and selection axis analysis. The use of these various vocabularies involves a sign system with Saussure's semiotics. Efforts to interpret this can be made to educate the general public about the role of performing arts in the community.

Menurut Parasuraman, Zeithmal dan Bitner pelayanan prima harus meliputi 5 dimensi yaitu: tangibles, reliabillity, responsiveness, assurance dan emphaty.Apabila semua unsur ini terpenuhi maka tujuan perusahaan yaitu kepuasan para pelanggannya akan tercapai yang akhirnya pelanggan akan loyal terhadap perusahaan. Loyalitas pelanggan inilah yang menentukan maju mundurnya suatu perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survai, Dari hasil penelitian mengenai hubungan pelayanan prima terhadap kepuasan jemaah haji yang dilakukan dan dilanjutkan dengan menganalisis data dengan menggunakan SPSS For Windows Versi 20.0, maka hasilnya adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan kuat antara pelayanan prima terhadap kepuasan jemaah sebesar 0,620 atau 62%, berdasarkan uji determinasi diketahui bahwa pelayanan prima mempengarui kepuasan jemaah dengan tingkat pengaruh sebesar 0,720 atau 72%. Sehingga hipotesis yang menyatakan ada hubungan antara pelayanan prima terhadap kepuasan jemaah dapat diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dari pelayanan prima KBIH (Al-Waritsah) terhadap kepuasan jemaah haji. The research objective was to find out how the KBIH Al-Waritsah excellent service, how satisfied the pilgrims were, and how the relationship between KBIH Al-Waritsah's excellent service to the satisfaction of the pilgrims. According to Parasuraman, Zeithmal and Bitner excellent service must include 5 dimensions, namely: tangibles, reliabillity, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. If all these elements are fulfilled, the company's goal is the satisfaction of its customers will be achieved which ultimately customers will be loyal to the company. This customer loyalty determines the progress of a company. The research method used in this study is a survey method, from the results of research on the relationship of excellent service to the satisfaction of pilgrims conducted and continued by analyzing data using SPSS For Windows Version 20.0, the result is a positive and strong relationship between excellent service to congregation satisfaction is 0.620 or 62%, based on the determination test it is known that excellent service affects the satisfaction of the congregation with a level of influence of 0.720 or 72%. So the hypothesis that there is a relationship between excellent service and satisfaction of the congregation can be accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the KBIH prime service (Al-Waritsah) on the satisfaction of pilgrims.

This study is aimed to identify the relative (direct) effect of online review ratings and perceived crowding on purchase intentions of a consumer. Our study also investigated the contingent effect of gender and perceived crowding between the relationship of exogenous and endogenous variables. This study was conducted in the Malaysian restaurant industry. We applied the purposive sampling technique to identify respondents, the mall intercept survey method was used for data collection. Smart PLS software was applied for data analysis (200 respondents). This study demonstrates through its results that online review ratings and perceived crowding have a positive effect on purchase intentions of a consumer. Moreover, if a consumer perceives crowding at a restaurant, this has a positive contingent effect on the relationship between review ratings and purchase intentions. This demonstrates that the consumer is more inclined to choose a restaurant with a high online review rating and has high perceived crowding at some unfamiliar place. Lastly, no evidence is found for the gender difference between review rating and purchase intentions; however, gender shows contingent effect and results confirmed that males preferred more crowded restaurants as compared to females. There are theoretical and practical implications for managers in the findings of this study.

The scientific problem of economics “Managing the quality of human life” is formulated on the basis of artificial intelligence, algebra of logic and logical-probabilistic calculus. Managing the quality of human life is represented by managing the processes of his treatment, training and decision making. Events in these processes and the corresponding logical variables relate to the behavior of a person, other persons and infrastructure. The processes of the quality of human life are modeled, analyzed and managed with the participation of the person himself. Scenarios and structural, logical and probabilistic models of managing the quality of human life are given. Special software for quality management is described. The relationship of human quality of life and the digital economy is examined. We consider the role of public opinion in the management of the “bottom” based on the synthesis of many studies on the management of the economics and the state. The bottom management is also feedback from the top management.

This essay examines a polemic between two Baudelaire critics of the 1930s, Jean Cassou and Benjamin Fondane, which centered on the relationship of poetry to progressive politics and metaphysics. I argue that a return to Baudelaire's poetry can yield insight into what seems like an impasse in Cassou and Fondane. Baudelaire provides the possibility of realigning metaphysics and politics so that poetry has the potential to become the space in which we can begin to think the two of them together, as opposed to seeing them in unresolvable tension. Or rather, the tension that Baudelaire animates between the two allows us a new way of thinking about the role of esthetics in moments of political crisis. We can in some ways see Baudelaire as responding, avant la lettre, to two of his early twentieth-century readers who correctly perceived his work as the space that breathes a new urgency into the questions of how modern poetry relates to the world from which it springs and in which it intervenes.
