Tofu industrial liquid waste contains high organic matter, if it is discharged into the environment without being processed first, it will have a negative impact in the form of environmental pollution. Currently, most of the tofu industry is still a small household scale industry, for example in Bara-baraya one of the tofu industries is not equipped with a wastewater treatment unit. The Bara-baraya tofu industry is located right in the middle of a residential area, so this can cause disturbance to the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the quality of the tofu industrial wastewater in the Bara-Baraya Timur Village, Makassar City in terms of pH, BOD, COD, and TSS parameters. The type of research used is observational research with a descriptive approach. The method of examining samples from the parameters of BOD, COD, TSS and pH in the tofu industrial wastewater refers to the SNI for water quality testing methods and is examined at the Makassar Health Laboratory Center. The results of the inspection of the quality of tofu waste water compared to the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 5/2014 are the pH parameter 3.85 (not eligible), COD parameter 499 mg/L (not eligible), TSS parameter 4.777.50 mg/L (not eligible), and BOD parameters 1.771.88 mg/L (not eligible). The conclusion in this study is the quality of tofu wastewater in waste samples that have not undergone treatment at the wastewater treatment plant (IPAL) located in the tofu industry located in RW 4, Bara-Baraya Village, Makassar City, does not meet the requirements and exceeds the quality standards that have been set. determined by the government so that it can cause pollution to the surrounding environment.

In order for humans could reach the so-called falah (goodness), human behavior needs to be colored with the spirit and norms of Islamic economics reflected in its values. The principles and values of Islamic economics are considerably two inseparable things. The implementation of economic principles without being colored with values or values without being based on principles could keep people far away from their purpose, namely falah. The implementation of values not based on principles will tend to bring with it the normative economics, which would cause it trapped into injustice. While the implementation of values on the Islamic economic development is based on the five universal values, namely akidah (belief), 'adl (justice), nubuwwah (prophetic), khilafah (the government), and ma'ad (results). The five principles are used as the basis for building theories of Islamic economics. But strong and adequate theories not applied into a system will make the Islamic economics just as the study of science without giving positive impact on the economic life. Therefore, based on the five universal values, the three derivative principles should be built into the characteristics and the forerunner of the Islamic economic system. The Islamic economic system makes sure that there are no economic transactions that are contrary to the Shari'a. But business performance depends on the man behind the gun. For that reason, the economic actors within this framework could be held by non-Muslims. The Islamic economics could only be developed if the mindset and behavior of Muslims are already itqan (diligent) and ihsan (professional). It "may be" one of the secrets of the Prophet's statement, saying "Truly I was sent to perfect good character". Because good character could be an indicator of knowing good or bad behavior in determining both the success and the failure of business itself.

Background: The Government of Tanzania through the Ministry of Finance and Planning implemented the Government Electronic Payment Gateway (GePG) system to improve the whole cycle of revenue management. As of June 2020, the system has been implemented in 660 institutions, 28 commercial banks, and 6 mobile money operators. Whilst the initial acceptance of this system is positive, relatively no study has evaluated its effectiveness in meeting the expected benefits. Elsewhere, similar systems showed initial acceptance at the beginning, followed by failures after some years of use. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the effectiveness of GePG system to find out how effectively public money is spent. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the success of GePG system using users’ satisfaction as a success measure.Method: The study adapted the updated Delone and Mclean Information Systems success model whereby perceived usefulness and trust in system were added as new factors. Abstract Between 1965 and 1980, the Indonesian government issued three religious policies. These had both positive and negative impacts on Christianity in Indonesia. As a positive impact, the Indonesian Council of Churches (DGI) and the Supreme Council of Indonesian Bishops (MAWI) were motivated to work together in lobbying the government. The policies also boosted the growth of local leadership in Catholic churches. However, the policies also brought a negative impact in that it became difficult for churches to obtain an IMB (Building Permit). In mid-eighties, Christianity could still perform religious services in churches without any disturbances, but after the 1990s, churches with no Building Permit were banned by some radical Islamic organizations. Preaching the gospel was considered violation of the law and a Christian could be sent to prison for performing this activity.

The main problem of this regional autonomy research is the low competence of human resources in the New Autonomous Region of  Pangandaran Regency, which is caused by its suboptimal implementation. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of regional autonomy and its impact. The method used is a qualitative approach with observation, interview and library study techniques. This study concludes that the implementation of regional autonomy in Pangandaran is not yet optimal. The positive impact of regional autonomy can increase the efficiency and responsiveness of government in public services with public preference, and arouse the spirit of competition and innovation among local governments. The negative impact, the quality of public services is low, due to the transfer of authority which is often misunderstood or misused so that adequate and formal supervision and control is needed both formally and informally as well as synergy between local, provincial and central governments.
