There are several problems faced by 14 deaf students as the subject of this research. They get diffiulties in understanding long sentences, connotative meaning, and they lack on vocabulary. Their inability in hearing makes them rely on their vision to gather information. Considering the reason of their difficulties, visual and attractive learning media are needed for deaf students. Group guidance on simulation game technique is a counseling guidance service that directs students to reflect daily activities in the form of games using physical media such as blue cards, OK cards and chance cards. In the group guidance of the simulation game technique, students learn to understand new vocabulary of the role played and can acquire vocabulary. The more vocabulary mastered will support students' ability to have receptive communication. To prove the hypothesis that the group guidance of simulation game technique influences the improvement of receptive communication of deaf students in SLB.B Wiyata Dharma 1, the Mann Whitney U Test analysis is used. Based on Mann-Whitney U-test Asymp Sig was obtained (2-tailed) 0.013 with an error level of 0.05 then 0.013 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It implies that the group guidance of the simulation game technique has an impact on increasing the receptive ability of deaf students. Therefore, group guidance on simulation game techniques can be used as an alternative learning media to improve receptive communication for deaf students.

Public speaking anxiety is a fear that is felt when speaking in front of many people. This fear could generate a variety of symptoms, such as sweating and even forget the words to be delivered. To avoid this condition, the individual choose to remain silent. Group guidance service is one of guidance an counseling serviced aimed at training members of the group to speak in front of public and be able to share ideas with others. The research was designed for revealing: the average score of the students’ anxiety before and after group guidance service assisted with REBT approach was applied by using ABCDE model and homework assigment technique, and the effectiveness of group guidance service assisted with REBT approach to reduce the student’ anxiety. This research applied quantitative method. This was a pre-experimental research which used the one group pretest and posttest design. The subject was chosen by using purposive sampling method. The subject of the research was seven students having high anxiety, medium anxiety and low anxiety. This research was conducted at IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The data gathered were analyzed by using statistic non-parametrik technique assisted with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and SPSS version 20.00. The result of the research showed that there was a difference between the average score of the students’ anxiety before and after the treatment given in which their pretest score was 136,1 and their posttest score was 111,5. Futhermore, the result of hypothesis test indicated that the score of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) was 0,005 which was below alpha 0,05 (0,005<0,05). Hence, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on these result, it was concluded that the use of group guidance service assisted with REBT approach which was applied by using ABCDE model and homework assigment technique was effective to overcome the students’ anxiety to speak in front of people (in the class).

Teachers who agreed to participate in the study received training on child neglect and abuse. Data were collected through a survey form and by the Scale for Identifying the Symptoms and Risks of Child Abuse and Neglect. Data were analyzed through the software SPSS V.20.0. For statistical analyses, student’s t test, analysis of variance and McNemar tests were performed, with p< 0.05 value being considered statistically significant. Results: Of the teachers, 63.7% were female and 80.5% were married. Teachers’ mean age was 40.5 ± 9.9 years. Of the teachers, 87.4% reported the training was adequate. The subject of this research is the question of balance in application of quantitative and qualitative methods of research in studying the problems of inclusive education and personality with special educational needs. The goal is to demonstrate that the use of qualitative methods gives objective results even on the small sample of persons under test. The novelty consists in proving the fact that qualitative methods of research have substantial priority in examination of inclusive problems of inclusive personality. The conducted empirical research illustrated that it is possible to effectively identify coping strategies for the students with limited health conditions as well as normotypical, using the autobiographical method on the small sample of persons under test. Analysis of the problems of inclusive education oriented towards considering inclusive needs of the students with disabilities can be efficiently realized using the methods that do not suggest studying the large array of information and wide range of participants of the research. The absence of quantitative data processing in qualitative research of inclusive education is not considered a shortcoming of such research.

The world of employment is impacted by major trends that are imposed by the on-going industrial advances. The changing labor market and the future of work calls for a paradigm shift in teaching and learning to equip graduates with compe-tencies they need for current and future jobs, and in particular, those of the engi-neering and technology programs. The purpose of this study is to discuss previ-ous work in the subject matter, to outline a set of teaching and learning strategies, and to create a roadmap for main players to work through to arm graduates with the intended competencies skills. To achieve this objective an extensive literature review was carried out to identify what teaching and learning strategies are cur-rently in-place, and what skills are anticipated. However, still, the education insti-tutions not been able to provide the workplace with competent graduates. A pro-posed set of intended competencies skills along with teaching and learning strate-gies for properly preparing future engineering and technology graduates was de-veloped; and a roadmap was built to show the roles of college administration, professors and students to ensure an effective way to support students gaining these skills. It is recommended that these sets of strategies including the facilita-tion of the roles of the main players to be incorporated in the educational pro-grams learning outcomes.
