This study aims to determine the effect of using mdsolids software mechanics materials course to improve learning outcomes and learning independence of student Mechanical Engineering Education Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University of Yogyakarta.This research was conducted with quasi-experimental methods. The results of the study were collected with the test group, and analyzed by t-test. Independence of student learning during the lesson observed, further analyzed by calculating the gain scores.The results of the t test of the difference test provides information that the average achievement of the experimental group was significantly different from the control class. The results of the experimental class learning better than the control class. Students who use the software program Mdsolids in mechanics of materials courses after having observed an increase in independent learning and learning at each end of the five overall aspects of the independence of the measured category has a high learning independence with an average achievement score on the five aspects of learning independence of 0, 73.

This research aims to explain the differences effect of explosion power of arm muscle exercise and flexibleness exercise with 50:50%  intensity by explotion power of arm muscle and flexibleness exercising with intensity 70:30% toward front handspring ability of gymnastics athlete in PT Semen Padang Club. The method of this research is quasi experimental method. The population of this research is 31 athletes, but the sample was obtained through purposive random sampling, so it was got 20 female athletes. The data of ability test front handspring aims to get information about ability of front handspring artistics gymnastics athletes of PT Semen Padang Club.Analysis data result shows that: (1) explosion power of arm muscle and flexibleness exercises with 50:50% intensity give significant influence toward ability of front handspring gymnastics athlete in PT Semen Padang Gymnastics Club. The increasing ability of front handspring is 4,1, (2) explosion power of arm muscle exercise and flexibleness exercise with 70:30 % give significant influence toward ability of front handspring gymnastics athlete in PT Semen Padang Gymnastics Club. The increasing ability of front handspring is 7,8, (3) There is difference between explosion power of arm muscle exercise and flexibleness exercise with 50:50% intensity and 70:30% intensity toward ability of front handspring gymnastics athlete in gymnastics club of PT Semen Padang, and explosion power of arm muscle exercise method and flexibleness exercise with 70:30% intensity is better than 50:50% intensity.

Teacher-centered learning less than optimal impact on the lack of student motivation. In addition, students are also difficult to understand the learning material of teaching materials that have been provided so that students become less enthusiastic in receiving lessons. This study aims to reveal the students 'motivation on IPS Terpadu  subjects through CollaborativeLearning strategy and to know the of the differences in students' motivation Experimental Class and ControlClass in junior IT UlilAlbab Batam. This research is a quantitative research with Quasi-Experimental Design approach. The subjects were students of class VIIa as a Class Experiment, totaling 32 students and Class VIIb as a Class control totaling 32 students. The sampling is using random sampel.Data obtained from the test results questionnaire were analyzed using the average difference test (T-Test). The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences on the students motivation in the Experimental Class Kata kunci: Strategi Collaborative Learning, students motivation, social sciences. Berpusat pada guru belajar kurang dari dampak yang optimal pada kurangnya motivasi siswa. Selain itu, siswa juga sulit untuk memahami materi pembelajaran bahan ajar yang telah disediakan sehingga siswa menjadi kurang antusias dalam menerima pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan motivasi pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu melalui strategi CollaborativeLearning dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan di siswa siswa motivasi Kelas Eksperimental dan ControlClass di SMP IT UlilAlbab Batam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Desain Quasi-Eksperimental. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA sebagai Eksperimen Kelas, berjumlah 32 siswa dan kelas VIIB sebagai kontrol Kelas berjumlah 32 siswa. sampling menggunakan sampel.Data acak yang diperoleh dari hasil uji kuesioner yang dianalisis menggunakan uji perbedaan rata-rata (T-Test). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada motivasi siswa di Kelas Eksperimental dan Kontrol.Kata kunci: Strategi Collaborative Learning, Motivasi Belajar, IPS Terpadu.

Farmers Perception Of Options To Sell Rice Penebas Or Perpadi(especially in Subak Benel, Kaliakah Village, Negara districts,Jembrana Regency) Various efforts have been implemented by the Provincial Food Crops Agency of Balito stabilize the price of grain, this is done by giving Funds of Rural EconomicEmpowerment Capital to the government for the purchase of rice. Although it hasbeen done from 2003, farmers are still selling it to Penebas with a bondage system.The purpose of this study to determine the perception of farmers to the choice ofselling rice to Perpadi or Penebas seen and differences in farmers' perceptions of thechoice of selling rice to Penebas or Perpadi. The research location is located in SubakBenel, Kaliakah Village, State District, Jembrana District. The analytical methodused is qualitative descriptive that aided with score, to answer the purpose ofresearch by using questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the perceptionof farmers to the choice of selling rice to Perpadi better than to Penebas. This is seenin the achievement of the farmers' choice of selling paddy to Perpadi is very goodand to Penebas is good. The difference of Perpadi with Penebas is measured throughDifferent Test with SPSS Independent Sample T test program which the result of Sigvalue. Or p value of 0.004 where <0.05 then there is a statistically significantdifference in probability 0.05, the mean difference or mean of both groups is shownin Mean Difference ie .29559.

A novel teaching method is proposed to design the contents of the interdisciplinary courses for the specialized mechanical engineering education. The paper discusses the necessity of assigning the proper interdisciplinary courses on the analysis of currently increasing mixed-talent requirement in our modern society. The characteristics of interdisciplinary research are elucidated in order to obtain the hints for guiding the reform of teaching method to suit for the new status that occur in the interdisciplinary course. The relationships and intersections among the different majors are regards as the most important factor for teaching the interdisciplinary courses well. Refining the associated knowledge from these intersections is the core task for teachers since these contents are very easy to avoid the intense inner anxiety and conflict for the student due to the difference between the own and other majors. For the teacher, the contents of lessons should be designed on the basic of the specialized skill of student’s major and not exceed their knowledge structures on a large degree. Based on this behavior, the detailed knowledge of specialized mechanical engineering is gradually assigned in the classes and terminally the whole specialized industry is learned by the student, which is the desired goal. Finally, the example of electrical machinery is addressed for verifying the effectiveness of the approach of refining the intersections to design the contents and classes. The practical results show that the method proposed in this paper has the high effectiveness on teaching the interdisciplinary specialized mechanical engineering education. In addition, we believe that this schema is also able to be applied for the related interdisciplinary courses.

This study aims to examine the comparison of the effectiveness of note taking styles of students who use the cornell notes method and mind maps in terms of student self-efficacy. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretets-posttest nonequivalent comparison-group design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa. The sample is class VIIIE and VIIIB as the experimental class. Class VIIIE is treated in the form of a note-taking style using cornell notes, while class VIIIB is treated as a note-taking style by mind maps. To test the effectiveness of learning using a paired sample t test. To test the difference in effectiveness using the independent sample t-test. The results of this study are: 1) the cornell notes method is not effective if viewed from the students' self efficacy, 2) mind maps is effective if it is reviewed by students' self-efficacy. 3) There is a difference in effectiveness between the cornell notes method and mind maps in terms of students' self-efficacy where students who record by mind maps get better efficacy scores than students who record by cornell notes method.

Introduction: Roselle plants (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is one of the herbs that began to be used by the community. Benefits of this plant is quite a lot for health. The portion taken for consumption is the red flower petals. oselle tea is one of the sour beverages which can affect the salivary gland secretion. The purpose of this study is to analyzed the difference of salivary volume before and after drinking roselle tea. Methods: This study has been conducted to 40 students of Faculty of Dentistry, Padjadjaran University, ranging from 18-23 years of age with good general condition. This study is quasi-experimental in vitro study using the paired test analysis with α = 0,05 of the data collected from salivary volume. Results: The result of study indicates that the average of salivary volume before drinking roselle tea is 1,90 milliliter. After drinking roselle tea, the average of salivary volume is 4,54 milliliter. The result of paired test analysis shows that t-test is 16,172 and t-table is 2,022. The value of t-test > t-table. Result of statistic shown there is significant difference of salivary volume before and after drinking roselle tea. Conclusion: There is a difference of salivary volume before and after drinking roselle tea.

The goals of this research are to find the difference of mean the cognitive and psychomotor learning outcome Simulation and Communication Digital due to implementation of POE learning model compare to learning model PRP . This research is using quasi experimental design through the type of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The hypothesist will be tested using Independent Sample of T-test. The result of this research showed that the mean difference test of students' learning outcomes in the cognitive obtained a significance of 0.006, while the psychomotor learning outcomes obtained a significance of 0.000. Based on the results of the average difference, the learning model that is superior to cognitive and psychomotor is the POE learning model.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL) setting think talk write (TTW) dan problem-based learning (PBL) setting think pair share (TPS) serta mendeskripsikan perbedaan keefektifan antara PBL setting TTW dan PBL setting TPS ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes prestasi belajar, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan angket self-efficacy siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan one sample t-test, dan analisis multivariat (MANOVA). One sample t-test dilakukan untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan PBL setting TTW dan keefektifan pendekatan PBL setting TPS, sedangkan analisis multivariat (MANOVA) dilakukan untuk menguji perbedaan keefektifan antara kedua treatment tersebut ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan PBL setting TTW dan pendekatan PBL setting TPS efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. Selain itu hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan keefektifan yang signifikan antara pendekatan PBL setting TTW dengan pendekatan PBL setting TPS ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. The Effectiveness of PBL Setting TTW and TPS Seen from Students Learning Achievement, Critical Thinking and Self-Efficacy  AbstractThis study aims to describe the effectiveness of problem-based learning (PBL) setting think talk write (TTW) and PBL setting think pair share (TPS) and describe the difference of the effectiveness between PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS in terms of learning achievements, critical thinking ability and self-efficacy of grade students. The research instruments to collect the data are a learning achievement test, a test to examine the ability to think critically and a self-efficacy questionnaire. One sample t-test was conducted to examine the effectiveness PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS. Meanwhile, multivariate test (MANOVA) was carried out to determine the difference between PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS. The results show that both PBL setting TTW and PBL setting TPS are effective in terms of students learning achievements, critical thinking ability, and self-efficacy and there is no significant difference between the effectiveness of PBL setting TTW and the effectiveness of PBL setting TPS in terms of learning achievements, critical thinking ability and student self-efficacy.

Kemampuan fisik dan teknik dalam permainan bola voli sangat perlu, salah satunya adalah power otot tungkai dan kemampuan smash. Smash adalah teknik yang paling sering digunakan dalam permainan bola voli, untuk melakukan smash yang baik dibutuhkan power otot tungkai yang terlatih.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang Perbedaan Pengaruh Latihan Knee Tuck Jump Dengan Latihan Double Leg Bound Terhadap Peningkatan Power Otot Tungkai dan Kemampuan Smash Pada Ekstrakurikuler Bola Voli Putra SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan perhitungan statistik yaitu dengan uji hipotesis atau uji-t. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesa pertama = 3.56, = 2.78 dengan demikian . Hal ini berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpul-kan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan knee tuck jump terhadap pening-katan power otot tungkai pada ekstrakurikuler bola voli putra SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis kedua = 10.58, = 2.78 dengan demikian . Hal ini berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian maka dapat di-simpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan double leg bound terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada ekstrakurikuler bola voli putra SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis ketiga = -0.50, = 2.31 dengan demikian . Hal ini berarti Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan knee tuck jump tidak lebih besar pengaruhnya dibandingkan latihan double leg bound  terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada ekstrakurikuler bola voli putra SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis keempat = -0.19, = 2.78 dengan demikian . Hal ini berarti Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan knee tuck jump terhadap peningkatan kemampuan smash pada ekstrakurikuler bola voli putra SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis kelima = 0.14, = 2.78 dengan demikian . Hal ini berarti Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan double leg boun terhadap peningkatan kemampuan smash pada ekstrakurikuler bola voli putra SMK N 1 Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis keenam = 0.38, = 2.31 dengan demiki-an . Hal ini berarti Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan knee tuck jump tidak lebih besar pengaruhnya dibandingkan latihan double leg bound terhadap peningkatan kemampuan smash dalam permainan bola voli pada ekstrakurikuler bola voli putra SMK N 1 Kota Jambi.ABSTRACT The ability both physical and technical in volleyball game is really important to be mastered, and one of the aspects is limbs muscle and spike skill. Spike is one of the technique which is frequently used in a volleyball game, and a well-trained limbs muscle is vitally needed in order to do spike properly. This research aims for knowing the difference of Knee Tuck Jump Training and Double Leg Bound Training Effect towards the escalation of limbs muscle’s power and Spike’s skill in extracurricular volleyball program for male in SMK N 1 Jambi. Data analysis which is used is statistical calculation with hypothetical test or “t-test”. Based on the first test, 3.56  = 2,78, it means that  > . It also means that  is rejected and is accepted. Furthermore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect attained from knee tuck jump training towards the escalation of limbs muscle power in extracurricular volleyball program for male students in SMK N 1 Jambi. Based on the second test, 10.58  = 2,78, it means that  > . It also means that the knee tuck jump training contributes better than double leg bound training towards the escalation of limbs muscle power in extracurricular volleyball program for male students in SMK N 1 Jambi. Based on the fourth test, -0.19  = 2,78, it means that  < . It also means that  is accepted and  is rejected. It can be concluded that there is no significant effect from knee tuck jump training towards the escalation of limbs muscle power in extracurricular volleyball program for male students in SMK N 1 Jambi. Based on the fifth test, 0.14  = 2,78, it means that  < . It can be concluded that there is no significant effect from double leg bound training towards the escalation of limbs muscle power in extracurricular volleyball program for male students in SMK N 1 Jambi. Based on the sixth test, 0.38  = 2,31, it means that  < . It can be concluded that knee tuck jump training does not have bigger effect than double leg bound training towards the escalation of limbs muscle power in extracurricular volleyball program for male students in SMK N 1 Jambi.

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the number card playing method on student motivation and learning outcomes in fraction material in class IV SD NU 03 Nurul Huda Wuluhan Jember. The research method used was a quasi-experimental study with a total of 20 experimental and control class students. Data collection techniques are using pretest and posttest. Analysis of the data used was the T test. The results of the data analysis with the T test at the 95% confidence level showed that the learning outcomes of the experimental class students who used the number card playing method were better than students in the control class who did not use the number card playing method. From the results of the above analysis the researcher draws the conclusion that the learning outcomes of students who use the number card game method program are higher than students who do not use the number card game method. So the number card game method can be used as an alternative learning media that can increase student motivation and learning outcomes.Keywords: Game Method, Number Cards, Learning Outcomes
