The problems of this research were to know the students’ speaking ability before and after they taught by use bamboo dancing technique. This experimental research was conducted at the XI IPS 3, consists of 28 students, eleventh grade at SMAN 1 GondangNganjuk in academic year 2014/2015. The research data were collected using pre test and post test. The research results showed that the students’ score of pre test is 1576. The mean of students score of pre test is 56.28 and the students’ speaking ability after taught by using bamboo dancing technique is better more than before taught. Because the students’ score in post test is 2292 and the mean of students’ score in post test is 81.85. It can be said that the students’ score is increasing after they are taught by using bamboo dancing technique in teaching speaking. The t-score computation showed that the t-score is 19.196 at degree of freedom 27 and t-table is 2,771 at the level of significance 1% and 2,052 at the level of significance 5%. It means that t-score (19,196) > t-table at the level of significance 1% (2,771) and t-score (19,196) < t-table at the level of significant 5% (2,052). So the t-score is higher than t-table in significance 1% and 5%. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis is rejected. It can be concluded that teaching speaking using bamboo dancing technique has significant effect to the student’s speaking ability

Interval estimation is the attempt to define intervals that quantify the degree of uncertainty in an estimate. The standard deviation of an estimate is called a standard error. Confidence intervals are designed to cover the true value of an estimand with a specified probability. Hypothesis testing is the attempt to assess the degree of evidence for or against a specific hypothesis. One tool for frequentist hypothesis testing is the p value, or the probability that if the null hypothesis is in fact true, the data would depart as extremely or more extremely from expectations under the null hypothesis than they were observed to do. In Neyman–Pearson hypothesis testing, the null hypothesis is rejected if p is less than a pre-specified value, often chosen to be 0.05. A test’s power function gives the probability that the null hypothesis is rejected given the significance level γ‎, a sample size n, and a specified alternative hypothesis. This chapter discusses some limitations of hypothesis testing as commonly practiced in the research literature.

The purpose of this research was to improve the handball athletes’ physical fitness through Tabata training during the outbreak of COVID-19. This pre-experimental research used a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research participants were male handball athletes at amateur level (N = 30) (age = 21.8 ± 1.3 years, height = 169.6 ± 2 cm, weight = 60.7 ± 7 kg). All participants performed the Tabata training for 23 sessions with a frequency of 3 times a week. The athletes’ physical fitness level was measured using push-ups, curl-ups, V-sit and reach, as well as shoulder stretch. All research data were then analyzed using SPSS version 22 with a significance level of α 0.05. The results of this research found that the physical fitness components consisting of strength endurance (P<0.05), muscle strength (P>0.251),   flexibility in the area of lower back and hamstrings (P<0.05) as well as upper arm flexibility (P<0.05) experienced differences before and after performing the Tabata training program. It is concluded that in response to the outbreak of COVID-19 throughout the world, Tabata is one alternative training to be performed by each handball athlete at home since Tabata training may provide various benefits in improving the handball atlethes’ physical fitness components.

The research is aimed at proving or determining correlation between skimming skill and reading comprehension achivement of the students of high school. The collection of data was carried out by questionnaire, the data was analyzed statistically by Person Product Moment Correlation of coefficient correlation preceded by Lillifors normality test as prerequisite analysis ( Lo < L-table ). The research found that ; 1) Based on Person Product Moment Correlation, reveals r = 0,969, while the r-table for degree of freedom(df) = (N-2) = 40 and the significance level 5% (0,05) is 0,304. Therefore the Null Hypothesis (Ho) which expresses that there is no significant Correlation Between Skimming Skill and Reading Comprehension achievement is rejected, and the alternative Hypothesis (Ha), which expresses that there is significant Correlation Between Skimming Skill and Reading Comprehension Achievement can be accepted. 1) There is a significant correlation with t-test (t-count) is 98,80 and degree of freedom (df) n-2 = 40, at level 5 % (0,05) sig ( two tail test), t-table is 2,326 t-count > t –table ( 98,80 > 2,326, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that the correlation has positive correlation. 2) The degree of correlation based on the table of coefficient correlation (r) is 0.969. the interval coefficient relation is between 0,80 and 1,00, so the correlation is very strong.

ABSTRACT Objective: To test the null hypothesis that there is no difference between the effects of fan-type rapid (FRME) and rapid maxillary expansion (RME) used with an acrylic bonded expansion appliance on dentofacial structures in early occlusal stages. Materials and Methods: This was a prospective clinical trial. The FRME group had an anterior constricted maxillary width with a normal intermolar width, and the RME group had bilateral constricted maxillary width. The FRME group consisted of 20 patients (mean age, 8.96 ± 1.19 years), and the RME group consisted of 22 patients (mean age, 8.69 ± 0.66 years). Lateral and frontal cephalometric radiographs and dental casts were taken before and after expansion and 3 months after completing treatment for each patient. The data were compared using repeated-measures analysis of variance. The paired-samples t-test was used to evaluate treatment and retention effects, and the independent samples t-test was used to consider the differences between the two groups. Results: The maxilla moved downward and forward in both groups. The nasal cavity and maxillary width were expanded more in the RME group, and there were only a few relapses in this group during the retention period. There was significant labial tipping of the upper incisors in the FRME expansion group. The expansion of intercanine width was similar in both groups, but the expansion of intermolar width was significantly greater in the RME group. Conclusion: The null hypothesis was rejected. There was a difference between the effects of FRME and RME used with an acrylic bonded expansion appliance on dentofacial structures in the early occlusal stages.

Education is a means to continue to pursue the formation of human character fundamentally, bring individual changes to the roots. However, the problem to this day there are still many gaps between expectations and the reality in the world of education. Therefore, need to be implemented by the efforts of educational institutions to participate in preventing the growth of a negative character in the self-learners. In this case, Roudhotul Athfal Jamiatul Qurra wal Huffadz, Cimahi, West-Java create memorization program (Tahfidz) al-Quran for all students. Where Tahfidz program is believed to be very helpful in shaping the character of students. In this study, researchers used a correlational analysis method, with quantitative approach. Author correlating the results of a questionnaire about the program Tahfidz al-Quran (Variable X) with character formation of students' (variable Y). The population studied were all students of class B totaling 100 students. So the authors took a sample of 24% of the total population of 24 students. As for the data processing after data from the questionnaire obtained. Researchers using the formula 'r' Product Moment, researchers get results from the value of 'r' desirable is 0, 5560. The authors correlate the results of the robservation with rtable at 1% significance level of 0, 5560> 0, 515, and correlate well robservation with the rtable at the 5% significance level = 0, 5560> 0, 404. Because ro is greater than rt the null hypothesis which was rejected and the alternative hypothesis proposed by the researchers received. This means that there was an effect or a positive correlation between the program Tahfidz al-Quran (Variable X) with character formation of students' (variable Y).
