The purpose of the work is to identify the functional and stylistic role and semantics of metaphors of love used in the modern Belarusian language. The source of the material was the texts of the belles-lettres and journalistic style written in the 21st century, in which the issues of the relationships between a man and a woman are raised. The article is based on the short novel “Between Day and Night” by N. Rybik, materials from collections of stories by Belarusian writers, periodicals and the Belarusian N‑corpus were also used. The descriptive method was chosen as the main one; the article uses elements of functional and stylistic and contextual analysis. Analysis of the metaphorical use of words used by modern Belarusian authors to describe various stages of the appearance of feelings and the degree of their manifestation shows that the attitude towards love in the modern Belarusian society is changing significantly. Love is often perceived not as something mysterious and extraordinary, but as something that you need to create yourself, using all available means for this (play, imitate, apply witchcraft, etc.). The main thing in love is to subjugate a person, bind them to oneself, which is realized in the use of the words ‘to hook’, ‘to woo’, etc. Marriage is perceived as something fickle (to try marriage) and divorce is perceived as a temporary measure (to part). Love is also considered as a disease that subjugates the will of a person, destroys them, which is emphasized by the use of metaphors like madness, to go nuts, etc. Lovehunting appears, which requires a large selection of partners (casting, asset), special skills and long practice (maneuvering). The external traits of a person become most important in relationships, therefore, the metaphors supermodel and swan princess are often used to describe young and beautiful women. Significant changes in the feeling are reflected in the choice of synonyms for the word ‘love’: surrogate, syrup, etc. Thus, the analysis of the figurative use of words allows us to outline the main changes that are taking place in the sphere of human relations in the Belarusian society of the 21st century.

The article considers the competition of verbal aspects from a new perspective. Instead of employing the traditional method of demonstrating this phenomenon — an empirical replacement of the aspect of a verb in a phrase with the opposite — the author examines Dostoevsky’s choice between the variants found in different manuscripts of the same text. For the first time, based on a two-component theory of the semantic invariant of a verb type, the aspectual meaning of the selection of a verb aspect is revealed and, as a result of contextual analysis, an artistic interpretation of the selected type is proposed.

Abstract-This study discusses Guel dance learning media created in the form of postcards. Aims to be able to direct students in identifying, appreciating, and expressing dances of the Gayo area, especially Guel dance. Theories used in the research of packaging theory according to Cahyorini and Rusfian (2011: 28), theory of learning media according to Heinich in Susilana (2016: 06), and graphic media theory according to Susilana and Riyana (2016: 14) Packaging is a theory used for graphic design, in terms of producing the product, and the image media in the form of postcards used to make Guel dance material as a learning medium. The time of the study was conducted from August to October 2017. The research site was at Sanggar Renggali Jalan Merah Mege Hakim Bale Bujang Laut Tawar, Central Aceh District. The population of several artists Gayo and all members of Sanggar Renggali because learning Guel dance is a dance learning materials in schools in Takengon and Samples are 2 people Gayo artists and 2 dancers dance Guel. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, literature study, and documentation, and then analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. Based on research that has been done Guel dance is a tradition dance Gayo community that has been used as learning materials in the schools of Middle Secondary in Central Aceh district. Guel dance which is packed in the form of postcards as a medium of learning with menggunkana first step of planning is preparing the material, determining the location, selection of dancers, and prepare the facilities and infrastructure. The second step of implementation is taking photos, editing process, then the last step is the completion of postcards and final writing. This study aims to describe the cultural values ​​contained in the Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. Cultural value is very important to be studied in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the people of Aceh so that it can be known by the younger generation and re-cultivated in life in the present. The formulation of the problem raised in this study is how the cultural values ​​contained in the Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. The data source in this research is Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. The selected data is each quotation that has a relation to cultural values ​​in the saga. The approach and method used in this research is a qualitative approach and a descriptive method by describing the facts which are then followed by analysis. The cultural values ​​analyzed in Banta Amat sects are grouped according to five categories, namely (1) cultural values ​​in human relations with God, (2) cultural values ​​in human relations with nature, (3) cultural values ​​in human relations with other humans, (4) cultural values ​​in human relations with society, and (5) cultural values ​​in human relations with oneself. The results showed there were 37 quotations related to cultural values ​​that exist in the Banta Amat saga, namely: (1) Cultural values ​​in the human relationship with God there are 6 values ​​in 24 quotes; a) Give thanks to God 3 quotes, b) Give to Allah the Prophet 1 quote, c) Pray and ask God 9 quotes, d) surrender to God 8 quotes, e) Fear God 1 quote, and f) Obey to worship God 2 quotes, (2) Cultural values ​​in human relations with nature are found in 2 quotations about utilizing the forest, (3) Cultural values ​​in human relations with other humans there are 3 values ​​in 4 quotations; a) respect for others 2 quotes, b) say greetings 1 quote, and c) answer greetings 1 quote, (4) Cultural values ​​in human relations with the community there are 3 quotes namely about mutual care, and (5) Cultural values ​​in relationships humans with themselves there are 3 values ​​in 4 quotes; a) Never give up 2 quotes, b) responsibility 1 quote, and c) hard work 1 quote. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the cultural values ​​in the human relationship with God are more numerous than the other values. This illustrates that the people of Aceh are religious and devout people who worship God. Suggestions from researchers that the people of Aceh continue to preserve cultural values ​​such as the Banta Amat saga in daily life. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II Karya T. A. Sakti. Nilai budaya sangat penting untuk dikaji guna melestarikan warisan budaya masyarakat Aceh agar dapat diketahui oleh generasi muda dan kembali dibudidayakan dalam kehidupan pada masa sekarang. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II Karya T. A. Sakti. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II karya T. A. Sakti. Data yang dipilih adalah setiap kutipan yang ada kaitannya dengan nilai budaya dalam hikayat. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskritif dengan mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta yang kemudian disusul dengan analisis. Nilai budaya yang dianalisis dalam hikayat Banta Amat dikelompokkan berdasarkan lima kategori, yaitu (1) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, (2) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam, (3) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, (4) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat, dan (5) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 37 kutipan yang terkait dengan nilai budaya yang ada dalam hikayat Banta Amat, yaitu: (1) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan terdapat 6 nilai pada 24 kutipan; a) Bersyukur kepada Allah 3 kutipan, b) Berselawat kepada Nabi Allah 1 kutipan, c) Berdoa dan memohon kepada Allah 9 kutipan, d) menyerahkan diri kepada Allah 8 kutipan, e) Takut kepada Allah 1 kutipan, dan f) Taat beribadah kepada Allah 2 kutipan, (2) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam terdapat pada 2 kutipan tentang memanfaatkan hutan, (3) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain terdapat 3 nilai pada 4 kutipan; a) menghormati orang lain 2 kutipan, b) mengucapkan salam 1 kutipan, dan c) menjawab salam 1 kutipan, (4) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat terdapat 3 kutipan yaitu tentang rasa saling peduli, dan (5) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdapat 3 nilai pada 4 kutipan; a) Pantang menyerah 2 kutipan, b) tanggung jawab 1 kutipan, dan c) kerja keras 1 kutipan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan lebih banyak dari nilai yang lainnya. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa masyarakat Aceh adalah masyarakat yang religius dan taat beribadah kepada Allah. Saran dari peneliti agar masyarakat Aceh terus melestarikan nilai budaya seperti pada hikayat Banta Amat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Hikayat, Nilai Budaya

The study aimed to identify the most prominent problems faced by teachers of Arabic language, and ways to address them. The researcher used the descriptive descriptive method. The study tool consisted of a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (55) all male students in the middle school for boys in Riyadh in the second semester of 1433-1434H. The teaching of the students is: The weakness of the student in the literacy skills, the obligations of the family learner do not help him to study. The most important problems related to the curricula are: the lack of curricula dedicated to the large student, the lack of participation in the selection of curricula, the lack of development and change constantly, not appropriate time to complete. The most important problems related to the environment are: There is no suitable library for adults, there is no suitable educational means, no furniture suitable for the age of the students, no educational resource center and a building of its own. There were no statistically significant differences at (α0.05) between the responses of the study members according to the following variables: qualification, experience. In the light of the results, the researcher made a number of recommendations: To promote the learner's knowledge of reading and writing skills, to take care of homework assignments, to develop special curricula for the great student and to involve the teacher in her selection; to create an appropriate library for adults;

GPS program was launched in order to improve people's active participation, creating awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, and build a new culture picking up trash. Communications and delivery of messages is done through socialization programs and social media, twitter. The purpose of this study to find out the Public Relations process that consists of collecting of facts and formulation of the problem, the planning and programming, the action and communication, and the evaluation of GPS program that has been done by the organizers. This study used descriptive method. Data collected were through interviews, observation and documents. The organizers of GPS program begins by listening to the comments that raised by external parties, also took to the field looking directly environmental conditions in Bandung to collecting the facts. Organizers prepared GPS program includes the introduction of the situation, goal setting, audience definition, selection of media and techniques of Public Relations, as well as budget planning. Action taken in the program organizers GPS is acting responsive and responsible, while communication in the program include Credibility, Context, Content, Clarity, Continuity and consistency, Channel, and Capability of the Audience. Evaluation program providers include evaluation for decision-making, evaluation of the achievement of objectives, evaluation of results and impact and evaluation of the implementation.

AbstractReasoning skill is essential for students to have to face the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to determine the percentage of students' reasoning skills based on deductive hypothesis, inductive hypothesis, and reflective abstraction. This research used a descriptive method involving 26 students of Islamic Senior High School 4 Bantul. The data from tests were analyzed quantitatively, while the data from interviews were analyzed qualitatively as supporting data. The results showed that the indicators of deductive hypothesis: Aspects of explaining a fact, there are 62% of students explained the facts correctly but were incomplete and 38% of students explained the facts incorrectly; Aspects of making conclusions deductively, there are 77% of students made correct conclusions but were incomplete and 23% of students made incorrect conclusions. Based on inductive hypothesis indicators: Aspects of making conclusions inductively, all students can make conclusions, but incorrect in associating equations; Aspects of giving reasons, all students gave incorrect reasons. Based on indicators of reflective abstraction: Aspects of developing concepts, there are 50% of students who can connect concepts in a case correctly and 50% of students incorrectly connect concepts in a case. This showed that students' reasoning skill is still low. AbstrakKemampuan penalaran penting dimiliki oleh siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase kemampuan penalaran siswa berdasarkan hipotesis deduktif, hipotesis induktif dan abstraksi reflektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang melibatkan 26 siswa MAN 4 Bantul. Data dari tes dianalisis secara kuantitatif, sedangkan data dari wawancara dianalisis secara kualitatif sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada indikator hipotesis deduktif: Aspek menjelaskan fakta, terdapat 62% siswa yang menjelaskan fakta secara tepat namun kurang lengkap dan 38% siswa kurang tepat dalam menjelaskan fakta; Aspek membuat kesimpulan secara deduktif, terdapat 77% siswa membuat kesimpulan dengan tepat namun kurang lengkap dan 23% siswa membuat kesimpulan yang kurang tepat. Berdasarkan indikator hipotesis induktif: Aspek membuat kesimpulan secara induktif, semua siswa dapat membuat kesimpulan, namun tidak tepat dalam mengaitkan persamaan; Aspek memberi alasan, semua siswa memberikan alasan yang kurang tepat. Berdasarkan indikator abstraksi reflektif: Aspek pengembangan konsep, sebanyak 50% siswa mampu menghubungkan konsep dalam suatu kasus secara tepat dan 50% siswa kurang tepat dalam menghubungkan konsep pada suatu kasus. Hal ini menunjukkan kemampuan penalaran siswa masih rendah.

Abstract Infrastructure is often thought of in big material terms: dams, buildings, roads, and so on. This study, instead, draws on literatures in anthropology and the social sciences to analyse infrastructures in relation to society and environment, and so cast current conceptions of infrastructure in a new light. Situating the analysis in context of President Biden’s recent infrastructure bill, the paper expands what is meant by and included in discussions of infrastructure. The study examines what it means for different kinds of material infrastructures to function (and for whom) or not, and also consider how the immaterial infrastructure of human relations are manifested in, for example, labour, as well as how infrastructures may create intended or unintended consequences in enabling or disabling social processes. Further, in this study, we examine concepts embedded in thinking about infrastructure such as often presumed distinctions between the technical and the social, nature and culture, the human and the non-human, and the urban and the rural, and how all of these are actually implicated in thinking about infrastructure. Our analysis, thus, draws from a growing body of work on infrastructure in anthropology and the social sciences, enriches it with ethnographic insights from our own field research, and so extends what it means to study ‘infrastructures’ in the 21st century.

Abstract Bioethanol is a liquid chemical produced from sugar-, starch-or lignocellulosic-based biomass through fermentation by ethanol-producing microbes. Ethanol-producing yeast generally has limited tolerance to ethanol and has limitation to high temperatures above 40°C. High-temperature tolerant yeast is required because it potentially reduces the risk of contamination and it also reduces the cost of the cooling process. This study aims to determine ethanol-producing yeasts that have tolerance to ethanol and high temperatures from local fermented food products. This study uses a descriptive method conducted in three stages. Isolation and selection of yeast were performed from 18 local fermented foods in Indonesia. Temperature and ethanol tolerance of selected yeast were performed by using a spot test method. The ethanol content was tested using Gas Chromatography (GC). The results exhibited that isolate F08b had the highest tolerance to ethanol and temperature. The isolate was able to grow up to a temperature of 50°C and a concentration of 18% ethanol. Meanwhile, isolate F10 was able to produce the highest ethanol concentration at 3.37% (v/v) in 48th-hour fermentation.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi 4C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, & Collaborative). Kompetensi 4C sangat diperlukan di masa mendatang dalam mencari tenaga kerja karena persaingan semakin ketat. Banyak juga tugas-tugas yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh manusia tetapi tergantikan dengan robot. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pada abad ke-21 ini perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat. Sehingga perlu ada keterampilan yang tidak dimiliki oleh robot yaitu keterampilan kompetensi 4C. SIDH (Sekolah Indonesia Den Haag) merupakan salah satu sekolah Indonesia luar negeri yang sangat memperhatikan kompetensi 4C. Pada sekolah tersebut selalu berupaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi 4C dengan berbagai strategi. Dengan cara diskusi saat pembelajaran, mengikuti ekstrakulikuler, dan bekerjasama dengan pusdatin. Meningkatkan kompetensi 4C di SIDH juga dapat melalui melalui pembelajarn PAI. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Metode ini memberikan data berupa data verbal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara dengan guru di SIDH yaitu Safreni Candra Sari dan Ponco Handayawati melalui media aplikasi zoom dan dokumen yang diperoleh berupa gambar atau foto yang menunjukkan beberapa kegiatan di SIDH. Strategies to Improve 4C Competencies (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication & Collaborative)The purpose of this research is to find out strategies to improve 4C competence (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, & Collaborative). 4C competence is needed in the future is looking for workers because the competition is getting tougher. There are also many tasks that should be done by humans but are replaced by robots. This is because in the 21st century the development of technology is increasingly rapid. So there need to be skills that robots don't have, namely 4C competency skills. SIDH (Sekolah Indonesia Den Haag) is one of the Indonesian overseas schools that pays attention to 4C competencies. The school always tries to improve 4C competence with various strategies. For example, through discussions during learning, taking extracurricular activities, and collaborating with Pusdatin. Improving 4C competence at SIDH can also be done through learning PAI. This study using a qualitative descriptive method. This method provides data in the form of verbal data. Data collection techniques used were interviews with teachers at SIDH, namely Safreni Candra Sari and Ponco Handayawati through the zoom application media and documents obtained in the form of pictures or photos showing some of the activities at SIDH.
