This study discusses guidance and counseling accountability in schools so that school counselors can demonstrate their duties as instrumental personnel in achieving optimal student competencies. One model of accountability activities is the MEASURE model developed by Stone and Dahir (2016), as a six-step accountability process that helps school counselors to implement a component of accountability into counseling and guidance programs. The advice in this study is for school counselors to conduct In-Service Training to help them improve their skills in accountability.

This research is based on phenomena that occur in the Bhakti Bangsa Vocational School which shows that many students commit violations and school rules. The purpose of this research is to overcome school undisciplined behavior through counseling with contractual engineering behavioral approaches.The type of research used is handling cases. Research focus is behavior that often violates discipline. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data review and description. Research subjects are students who have undisciplined behavior problems.The results showed that the fourth counseling before counseling had undisciplined behavior in school. There are students caught storing indecent videos so that they are embarrassed and do not want to go to school for a few days, often do not go to class without explanation, often skip school because they like to play online games at the cafe, often go home sooner before the school bell rings. After being given counseling services with behavioral contractual behavioral approach, counselees begin to understand the importance of school.Overall counseling conclusions on counselees who have undisciplined behavior can be overcome through individual counseling with a contractual behavioral approach. It is proven that there are behavioral changes that are not disciplined to be more disciplined. School counselors are expected to be able to overcome the problem of students through counseling and guidance services, especially counseling with a contractual behavioral approach to address undisciplined behavior, accompanying, motivating and always monitoring the counselee's progress in order to continue to commit to no more school discipline violations. The headmaster is expected to be able to facilitate the counselor in the implementation of guidance and counseling services and supervise the development of problematic students. Keywords: Discipline, Behavior Approach, Guidance and Counseling Teachers

In this study, the amount of time that school counselors devote for program development, implementation and evaluation processes for generating and implementing comprehensive counseling and guidance program, which is based on the School Counseling and Guidance Services Model, as well as the problems they encountered were explored. Total of 207 school counselors, 113 of which from elementary and 94 of which from high schools participated in the study. The Survey of Roles and Responsibilities of Counselors were administered to school counselors. The quantitative data were analyzed using frequency distribution and qualitative data were analyzed by descriptive content analysis method. The findings indicate that, the implementation of comprehensive counseling and guidance program in schools, were evaluated positively especially in terms of ensuring the integrity of applications, meeting the developmental needs of students, and identity and visibility of school counselors are evaluated positively. However, some difficulties have been identified in terms of the school counseling program content and scope of competence of personnel in program implementation.

PROFIL OF PEDAGOGIC AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELORS IN BANDUNG CITY. This study aims to get a profile and description of pedagogic and professional competencies of guidance and counseling teachers (counselor) in Bandung. The research used the quantitative approach with survey methods. The population of this research is 127 counselors of the senior high school in Bandung. The Instrument was the development of Permendiknas No. 27 Tahun 2008 concerning Academic Qualification Standards and Counselor Competencies with ten aspects related to pedagogic and professional competencies. Data analysis techniques in this research are descriptive analysis techniques. The result of the research shows that the profile of counselors is in the competent category but in several aspects need some developed. The result of the research can be used as a need assessment for supervisor in understanding counselors competencies so that it can be used as a basis to provide guidance and counseling services effectively and efficiently.

This research aims to find out (1) the description of needs toward the model of Lulo dance of Southeast Sulawesi to improve students’ social skills and (2) utility, feasibility, and accuracy in the model of Lulo dance of Southeast Sulawesi to improve students’ social skills. This research applied the development research proposed by Borg & Gall. Small group testing was conducted to 12 students. Data collection technique used in this research was interview and social skill scale. This research employed descriptive statistic and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results point out that (1) students were indicated to have low social skills, so school counselors need social guidance and counseling services so that the video-based model of Lulo dance of Southeast Sulawesi was developed to improve students’ social skills (2) the validation test with 3 (three) experts shows that utility, feasibility, and accuracy in the model of Lulo dance of Southeast Sulawesi based on video were suitable to improve students’ social skills. The observation result from the limited group explained that the model of Lulo dance of Southeast Sulawesi could be accepted well by the students.

The reason of implementation of counseling at school is to help students solving their problems. So that, students learning can be optimized. Several approaches that are often used in school counselors in helping students to solve problems often can not resolve the problems without delay. This is because the counselor is less to understand the character of the students in depth. Guidance and counseling Islam as alternative approaches that can be used to help solve the problems of students, especially students in MAN Kab. Banyumas all Muslim. So the model of Islamic Guidance and counseling is considered very appropriately carried out at MAN Kab. Banyumas, because this approach is in accordance with the norms implemented in the schools. The most fundamental goal of this approach is to help people in realizing himself to be fully human so they able to achieve happiness in this world and in the hereafter. Dasar pemikiran penyelenggaraan konseling di sekolah adalah membantu terentaskannya semua permasalahan siswa. Sehingga siswa dalam belajar bisa lebih optimal. Beberapa pendekatan yang sering digunakan konselor di sekolah dalam membantu memecahkan permasalahan siswa seringkali belum bisa menyelesaikan permasalahan secara tuntas. Hal ini dikarenakan konselor kurang begitu memahami karakter dari siswa secara mendalam. Bimbingan dan konseling Islam sebagai alternatif pendekatan yang bisa digunakan untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan siswa, terlebih siswa di MAN Kab. Banyumas semuanya muslim. Sehingga model bimbingan dan konseling Islam ini dirasa sangat tepat dilaksanakan di MAN Kab. Banyumas, dikarenakan pendekatan ini sesuai dengan norma-norma yang keseharian dilaksanakan di sekolah-sekolah tersebut. Tujuan yang pa ling pokok dari pendekatan ini adalah membantu individu dalam mewujudkan dirinya menjadi manusia seutuhnya yang mampu meraih kebahagiaan di dunia dan di akhirat.

Current study aims to reveal the problems that pre-school teachers and parents face, in relation to guidance and counseling services, at schools without psychological counselors. The purpose of including pre-school teachers and parents in the current study was to find out both whether they considered the guidance and counseling services a need and whether their methods of intervention against the problems that they face were functional. The current research was designed with interview technique as a qualitative study method. Research data were collected through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. The researcher met the participants individually and asked the questions on the interview form for the current research. The responses that the participants provided were recorded and later transferred onto computer environment. The study group, formed based on voluntary participation, included total 30 participants with 15 pre-school teachers and 15 parents of pre-school children. Pre-school teacher participants 10 females and 5 males, worked for five different preschools in Adiyaman. Total 15 parents in the study group included nine females and six males. An examination of pre-school teachers’ responses based on the current study findings indicated that majority of the teachers did not prepare an annual counseling and guidance plan. Another finding of the current study was that children of most parents and teachers experience adjustment problems in pre-school. Another finding of the current research is about children’s individual problems. Main individual problems that parents experienced with their children included self-care and social development.

This research has purpose to know implemnetasi guidance and counseling program in Curriculum 2013. This research is classified as descriptive qualitative research by using pedagogical, psychological, and sociological approach. Implementation of research conducted at SMAN 4 Watampone Kab. Bone. The subjects of the study consisted of 1 leader and 4 counseling and guidance teachers using purposive sampling samples whose number could occasionally increase by using snowball sampling in line with the development of research data needs. Implementation of guidance and counseling in Curriculum 2013 at SMAN 4 Watampone shows that the interest of learners in Curriculum 2013 become a thing of counseling and counseling in various dimensions ranging from philosophy framework to its technical implementation.Keywords: Bimbingan dan konseling dalam kurikulum 2013.

This study aims to determine the design of Guidance and counseling programs in Taluba-based schools in the development of the character of learners, to find out the Taluba Character Concepts in the Banjar / Swamp Tribe Society, and to determine the validity of the developmental guidance and counseling program model. The design of this study is the design of educational research and development (Educational Research & Development) Research and development in the context of education is the process used to develop and validate educational products. The stages used in this study were only 8 stages out of 10 stages. The subjects of development in this study were all high schools in Banjarmasin, both public and private. The approach in this study uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The technique for collecting data is to use interview techniques and documentation in the form of a literature review and use the Delphi to validate the model created by researchers as guidance and counseling experts and practitioners. The target of this research output is to become a speaker at national/international seminars and to be published in Sinta's e-ISSN Journal. The results obtained are based on the results of quantitative and qualitative validation tests by 3 experts in BK Science and 3 Practitioners who are BK teachers/school counselors who indeed understand the science of Guidance and counseling, the six validators alike state that the hypothetical model of the BK program is developed based Taluba character values ​​are very good, useful, easy, proper and appropriate to be used as a reference for BK teachers in providing guidance and counseling services that are integrated with local wisdom and the culture of the Banjar tribe community.

The research objective was to reveal whether there were differences in students' independent learning before (pre-test) and after (post-test) providing information services with cinematographic media. It was found that the phenomenon of student independent learning was low, the desire of students was less to learn, and the lack of understanding of students in learning. One type of guidance and counseling service that can be used to improve students' independent learning in schools is information services using cinematographic media. This research is a quantitative research with a Quasi Experiment model with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was students with a total of 99 students and a sample of 32 people who were determined purposively. How to collect data through self-learning scale. Data were analyzed using Paired Sampels T-Test with the help of SPSS version 20.00. The findings of the study show that information services using cinematographic media are effective for improving students 'independent learning in schools and there are differences in students' independent learning in schools in the pre-test and post-test after treatment using information services with cinematographic media. This research can be concluded that the independent learning of students in schools can be improved through information services with cinematographic media. This study shows that the importance of implementing information services with cinematographic media in schools by school counselors so as to improve students' independent learning in schools.
