Speaking is one of the basic language skills that have to be mastered by English foreign learners due to its significant and its use for communication. It is very important to be able to speak English regarding that it is the most commonly accepted language in the world so that it will be very beneficial for those who comprehend it not only to improve their knowledge and skills but also easier for them to get a job. However, the researcher has found that there are many similarities and difficulties faced by the students in speaking English such as fear of making mistakes, fear of being laughed by their friend as they have no idea about pronunciation and grammar that they use. The objective of this research was to prove whether or not students speaking skills be improved by using presentation for students of Bekasi palm oil polytechnic cultivation program. The result of this study shows that At the beginning of the presentation assignment, students' speaking ability is still very limited. But when the presentation assignments went on for quite a long time, students were getting used to the presentation of English and they were also more used to doing public speaking. Based on the results and discussion, it can conclude that presentation can improve student’s speaking skill for Cultivation Program Student of Politeknik Kelapa Sawit Bekasi.

Using YouTube within and outside the classroom can be very helpful in developing the ability to write, listen and pronounce. YouTube can be a valuable tool that can be used to teach multiple language skills. YouTube videos can be used to educate students about the varieties of English spoken around the world and provide them with authentic speaking skill materials. This paper suggests different ways to teach English speaking skills using YouTube.

English has been widely spoken in the world and seen as the language of education, communication, economics and etc., for a long time and it can be accepted as lingua franca. Knowledge of a language includes four basic language skills, these are listening, reading, speaking, and writing. In this study writing was investigated in detail and it was mentioned why writing was difficult and importance of writing was explained. This study was produced from the author’s doctoral dissertation. It was seen that students’ ability to write in a well- organized manner was insufficient. So, in the study, the main components for a well-organized composition that is outlining, coherence, unity were explained. In addition remedial exercises for developing writing skills were indicated in order to develop students’ writing skills. In the research, controlled pre, post-test Experimental Design was used. During the pedagogical experiment the teacher- experimentator himself carried out all the studies in control and experimental groups during the process of the experiment. Furthermore it was stressed that materials and teachers skills were important for the development of the students in the related topic.

The activity of speaking or known as public speaking is a scary thing for students. Although they are often asked to practice presentations in front of the class, the technique of delivering public speaking is often not paid attention to. There are several techniques that should be mastered in public speaking so that the delivery can be conveyed well to the audience. This time, the implementation of PKM aims to provide knowledge about public speaking skills, improve speaking skills, mentally prepare students to speak in front of crowds, and equip students to enter lectures or work.  The method presented in this activity is lecture and practice.with 20 students from SMK Bina Nusa Slawi. Students are also provided with modules to make it easier when delivering and students can also repeat the material at home. Students are also given directions regarding the correct way of presentation in Indonesian and English in accordance with the rules of public speaking. In addition to theory and practice in the classroom. Students are also directed to observe several public speaking figures through Youtube channel. In general, community service activity at SMK Bina Nusa Slawi are going well. Students' enthusiasm is extraordinary, as evidenced by the fact that 80 percent of students believe that having public speaking skills and increasing self-confidence are important. Students feel helped by this activity because they gain knowledge about public speaking and presentation techniques that can be used to support presentations in class or as a provision for later in the world of work.

Public speaking has become an integral part of many professions and is at the center of career development opportunities. Therefore, the change in the education system from offline to online has led to new ideas in the implementation of public speaking learning, namely by using Instagram as a learning medium for collecting assignments intended to introduce or sell English language skills which are usually called Edupreneurship. That way, it is hoped that not only carry out learning and collect assignments but also something is obtained. However, learning still prioritizes output. Therefore, in this study, we refer to the personal branding theory. The purpose of this study is to determine how effective the use of Instagram is as a medium to promote English speaking skills, to find out the followers' responses regarding the skills possessed by English students, and also what was gained from promoting English speaking skills. The subjects in this study were students in the 5th semester. The number of respondents was 25 students. This research was conducted using data collection methods through Google forms. The results showed that Instagram provided effects and benefits to students, most of them stated that: (1) Students felt more confident in speaking English, (2) Students felt an improvement in their abilities, (3) Students felt more enthusiastic about positive comments and motivated by negative comments, (4) Students feel that Instagram is the right medium for promoting English speaking skills, (5) Students get input in the form of work.

Purpose: to consider and theoretically substantiate the rules and techniques of communicative communication, techniques of speech interaction with the audience. Methods: the study of human speech activity, which is carried out through the exchange of information through texts. The interaction of the speaker with a group of persons, using a communicative act to communicate information, which will entail a certain activity or, on the contrary, inaction. The authors consider different techniques of speaking, suggest constantly training this skill in different ways: speaking tongue twisters, retelling texts, etc. The formation of the mastery of public speaking is a long and laborious process, which must be constantly learned using special literature. Speaking skill will help communicate, promoting quality interaction between people in a team. Results: thanks to this study, the authors came to the following conclusions, which give the right to say that a person's thoughts are formed with the help of consciousness, but not every person can convey them to others. It is necessary to develop public speaking skills from an early age. Starting with expressive reading of poems and episodes of literary works. You can express your attitude to any phenomenon, prove your position in relation to this or that event, prove your case not only with the help of correct arguments, but also with the skill of an orator. Over the course of many years of study, the student is given the opportunity to master the art of oratorical performance in practical classes, seminars, and presentations at conferences. Difficulties that arise when answering a test or exam often arise for students not because of a lack of knowledge in this subject, but because of the lack of skill that is needed when making a speech. Quickly logical, well-spoken speech is the key to success in any situation. The techniques and methods that the authors consider in this article will help students and many other people understand the formula for successfully mastering the skill of public speaking. A speech based on knowledge of the laws of persuasion and delivered taking into account the rules of speech interaction will help not only in studying at a university, but also in later life

Speaking skill is one of the four language skills that are important to master. Because speaking skills are an important element in communicating, so that students can convey messages and ideas well. The purpose of this study is [1] to determine the speaking skills of 5th grade students of SDN 01 TARANTANG [2] To assist in making speaking skills teaching materials based on the results of the analysis of 5th grade students' speaking skills of SDN 01 TARANTANG. The research approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with analytical methods. With data collection techniques through oral tests and literature studies. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out by researchers on 5th grade elementary school students, it can be seen that the average score of students' scores is 60 with the provision that 3 students have the highest scores such as KPA, SO, WSP by getting an overall score of 91, then for the lowest score, namely PI, TR, WFR with an overall score of 33, the reason is that they did not take the exam at all and did not answer the questions given by the researcher.

Pakistan is one of the developing countries where English is taught from primary to graduation level as a compulsory subject, but it is observed and quoted by a number of researchers in their research that the EFL learners are found weak in one of the basic language learning skill i.e., speaking. Keeping in view this issue of learners this research study was conducted to investigate the types of difficulties the male and female learners of EFL face in acquisition of speaking skills competence and to get their suggestions, which they expect from teachers or authorities to do in their endeavors of improving speaking skill competence in overcoming the difficulties faced by them. The sample consisting of 120 undergraduate students from 10 universities was selected. A questionnaire having 10 close-ended and 05 open-ended items was distributed among the participants. The analysis of quantitative data suggests that comparatively males give more importance to skill for success in career than female, moreover they are more hesitant than females because of lack of confidence, afraid of mistakes and of being criticized, etc. while analysis of qualitative data reveals that only 27% participants are satisfied by their speaking skills competence, 51% were unable to reason what is important for mastering speaking skills, 20% said, they are unable to speak because of lack of confidence, 38% feel speaking skill is the most difficult skill, while 35% favored classroom activities for improving speaking skill competence. On the basis of findings from the suggestions of the participants, it is concluded that if teachers arrange classroom activities, then there will be a positive impact on students’ confidence as activities will improve the speaking skill competence of the learners.

Language is the ability to communicate with other people. One of the language skills that can be developed first is speaking skill. Speaking skills need to be optimized because they can affect the next child's life. There are various kinds of problems related to speaking skills including some children who have not been able to communicate the ideas in their minds, express their opinions, and have not dared to speak. In addition, the teaching methods used by teachers have an influence on children's interest in expressing their opinions. This study aims to determine the effect of the conversing method on the speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years. The quantitative approach was carried out using an experimental method of pre-experimental design, one group pretest, and post-test design. Subjects in this study as many as 17 children, data collection techniques using the method of observation and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test formula. The results showed that the method of speaking had an effect on children's speaking skills.

The current paper aims at emphasizing the use of literature as a popular technique for teaching both basic language skills (i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking) and supporting the potential values of literature in enhancing language and communication skills for the language learners in our times. The research is in its quest for the issues on how to effectively teach communication skills in a literature class as well as how to develop students’ inspirations in studying literature. Moreover, the work studies specific features of the use of different techniques and activities to develop speaking skills by using literature texts at practical English lessons.
