<p class="15cKeywordsBInggris">This study focus on the problem of the pluralism concept based education by Maarif Institute in the Islamic perspective. The critical study will focus on three terms, namely: Foundations of Islamic Education, the Objectives of Islamic Education and its curriculum. The approach used in this study is the Descriptive Qualitative approach (Qualitative-Descriptive Research and Content Analitic-Kritic), which is include in a critical study by describing and analyzing the Maarif Institute’s thought related to the concept of pluralism based education. Materials and data obtained by studying books and journals published by the Maarif Institute, literatures related, so we get a picture of ( description ), thoughts, ideas, and insight to the object under study as well as a critical study of the research object. The results of this study indicates that the concept of pluralism based education by the Maarif Institute realized with three terms, which teaches the values of tolerance, non-violence values and values of inclusiveness. The concept of pluralism based education by the Maarif Institute has weaknesses and hidden dangers that can affect destroying religion and its teachings. Through the concept of pluralism based education will also let the doctrine from liberal secular to scrape out the power of Aqeedah of the Muslims.</p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="16cKataKunci">Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kritis terhadap konsep pendidikan berbasis pluralisme oleh Maarif Institute dalam perspektif Islam. Studi kritis tersebut akan difokuskan pada tiga terma, yaitu: Landasan Pendidikan Islam, Tujuan Pendidikan Islam dan Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Qualitative-Descriptive Research and Content Analitic-Kritic (Penelitian Kualitatif-Deskriptif dan Analisis Konteks-Kritis), yaitu studi kritis dengan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pemikiran Maarif Institute terkait konsep pendidikan berbasis pluralisme. Bahan dan data didapatkan dengan menelaah buku dan jurnal terbitan Maarif Institute, literatul-literatul yang terkait, sehingga didapatkan gambaran (deskripsi), pemikiran, ide, dan penjelasan terhadap objek yang diteliti serta melakukan studi kritis terhadap objek penelitian tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep pendidikan berbasis pluralisme oleh Maarif Institute direalisasikan dengan tiga terma, yaitu mengajarkan nilai-nilai toleransi, nilai-nilai anti kekerasan dan nilai-nilai inklusifitas. Konsep pendidikan berbasis pluralisme oleh Maarif Institute memiliki kelemahan dan berdampak bahaya tersembunyi yang dapat menghancurkan agama dan ajarannya. Melalui konsep pendidikan berbasis pluralisme ini juga akan membukan pintu yang lebar bagi sekularisasi-liberal untuk mengikis habis kekuatan aqidah kaum Muslimin.</p>

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan pokok mengenai Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang merujuk pada tiga komponen ajaran Islam yang telah disebutkan yakni iman sebagai landasan akidah, ibadah, dan akhlak. Ketiganya ini, sarat pula dengan unsur sarak yang senantiasa menjadi sasaran dan perhatian khusus pendidikan Islam baik melalui jalur informal, formal dan nonformal. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini berusaha untuk menjawab pertanyaan secara khusus yakni (1) bagaimana relevansi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dengan sarak sebagai unsur pangngadakkang pada suku Makassar. (2) bagaimana implikasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam sarak sebagai unsur pangngadakkang di kalangan suku Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yakni metode penelitian yang memberikan gambaran tentang situasi dan kejadian secara faktual dan sistimatis mengenai faktor-faktor, sifat-sifat, serta hubungan antara fenomena yang dimiliki untuk melakuakan akumulasi dasar-dasarnya saja. Pendapat lainnya menyatakan bahwa penelitian deskriptif kualitatif adalah penelitian untuk melakukan eksplorasi dan memperkuat prediksi terhadap suatu gejala yang berlaku atas dasar data yang diperoleh di lapangan. Kata Kunci : Nilai-nilai Islam dan Pangngadakkang ABSTRACTThis study aims to answer the main issued concerning the values of Islamic education which refers to the three components of Islamic teachings that has been mentioned namely faith as the foundation of faith, worship, and morals. All three of these, loaded with the element of sarak which always be the target and special attention of Islamic education both through informal, formal and nonformal channels. Therefore this research was trying to answer the question specifically namely (1) how to the relevance of Islamic education values with sarak as pangngadakkang element on Makassar tribe. (2) how to the implications of the values of Islamic education in sarak as pangngadakkang among Makassar tribe. This research used descriptive qualitative method, that was research method which gives description about factual and systematic situation and happenings about factors, properties, and relationship between phenomena to do baseball accumulation only. Another opinion states that qualitative descriptive research was a study to explore and strengthen the prediction of a symptom that applied on the basis of data obtained in the field. Keywords: Islamic Values and Pangngadakkang

Abstract. Islamic education is tasked with guiding and directing the development of students from one stage to another until it reaches optimal levels. Islamic education aims to create a perfect human (al-insanul kamil) and a good human being (al-insan al-shalih). Other tasks are in accordance with the vision and mission of the Prophet, namely perfecting human morals. A good education is certainly well managed. Therefore it is necessary to manage according to Islamic teachings. By using a qualitative descriptive research method, this study will try to dig deeper into the extent to which the achievement of education management standards in accordance with Islamic teachings and solutions to solve problems faced. The management of education in achieving the goals of Islamic education is education that is capable of making people who are faithful and devout, educating pious individuals by paying attention to spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual, physical development, educating members of pious social groups, both in the Muslim family and community.

This study aims to elaborate the strengthening of Islamic moderateism through Aswaja An-Nahdliyyah character education. The researcher describes the behavior of Aswaja An-Nahdliyyah character education practiced by Islamic educational institutions as a basis for strengthening religious moderatism. The role of Islamic education institutions in applying moderate Islamic understanding in this disruption era is necessary. Because, students are faced with conditions of changing the order of values ​​and traditions that are very fast and unexpected. Through a descriptive-qualitative approach, data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. Through the frame of character education theory, the data analyzed using the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Apparently, Aswaja An-Nahdliyyah's character education at MTs. Miftahul Huda Bulungan Pakis Aji Jepara was developed through teaching the value of tawassuth, tawazun, tasamuh and i'tidal. The implementation as culture of madrasa, such as the obligation to pray before starting the lesson, orderly running pickets, praying dzuhur in congregation, wearing school uniforms, preserving ancestral culture, familiarizing greetings, sympathetic care routinely for yatama and dhuafa, maintaining the cleanliness of the madrasa environment, and a ban on littering the classroom walls. The limitation of this study has specific scope. That is the focus on strengthening religious moderateism in Islamic educational institutions which are under the shelter of the LP. Maarif NU Jepara Regency. There are still gaps for other researchers to conduct development research outside of that scope.

This article aims to examine the concept of ‘aql based on the neuroscience and the Qur’an perspective, the implications to the scientific approach in the Islamic education as well. This article is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of data collection was done by analytic descriptive by using the related themes as the data. The results of the study indicate that reasoning function is equivalent to brain function. Brain optimization not only makes students smart rationally but also emotionally and spiritually. The equality of ‘aql and brain functions will produce the students who have a good skill of life. These skills include specific skills and the three pillars of students' success such as knowledge, skills, and motivation. These three pillars form a superior personality, which called as ulil albab in the Qur’an perspective.

This final project is a study which analyzes translation techniques used in the translation of novel I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. The translation techniques introduced by Molina and Albir (2002) is the theory I use in this study. The object of the study is to explain the techniques used by the translator in translating I am Number Four. This research is classified into descriptive research. It is the study in which I need to collect and analyze data to get conclusion. However, I also find out that it is essential to combine the qualitative approach with the quantitative one. The data are gained by reading novel, comparing the novel, identifying, classifying, counting, and conclusion. The result of the study shows that there are 12 techniques found in the data. They are, namely, adaptation, amplification, borrowing, calque, discursive creation, established equivalent, generalization, linguistic compression, literal, particularization, reduction, and transposition. The total data are 671 direct speeches of I am Number Four. The total techniques of the data found are 671. The percentage of each techniques are as follows: (1) borrowing occurs 132 times and represents 19.7%, (2) literal occurs 119 times and represents 17.73%, (3) generalization occurs 97 times and represents 14.46%, (4) established equivalent occurs 94 times and represents 14.01%, (5) amplification occurs 76 times and represents 11.3%, (6) particularization occurs 52 times and represents 7.75%, (7) linguistic compression occurs 43 times and represents 6.41%, (8) reduction occurs 35 times and represents 5.22%, (9) transposition occurs 12 times and represents 1.79%, (10) adaptation occurs 5 times and represents 0.74%, (11) calque occurs 3 data and represents 0.45%, (12) discursive creation occurs 3 times and represents 0.45%. Finally, the conclusions above lead me to provide the following suggestions. First, for translator: it is important to explore different translation techniques to make the translated text clear and try to give an explanation such as footnote in the novel in order to make the reader understand the text. Second, for further researcher: A further research can give knowledge that can be beneficial for the readers and can be the next related research to be reviewed. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui problematika pembelajaran SKI di Madrasah Tsanawiyah YAPI Pakem Kabupaten Sleman. Jenis penelitian yang akan kami digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang menekankan pada penggunaan data lapangan (alamiah). Data yang bersumber dari tatanan realitas yang dilakukan langsung oleh peneliti dalam situasi apa adanya. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif berusaha mendeskripsikan seluruh gejala atau keadaan yang ada, yaitu keadaan gejala menurut apa adanya pada saat penelitian dilakukan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketika dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dilapangan tentang pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di MTs YAPI Pakem Kabupaten Sleman mengalami beberapa kendala. Diantara kendala yang dialami dalam pembelajaran SKI adalah; pertama, adanya latar belakang peserta didik yang berbeda-beda. Kedua, latar belakang pendidikan guru yang tidak berkompeten. Ketiga, kurangnya sarana dan prasaranya dalam menunjang proses belajar mengajar SKI. Keempat, keterbatasan waktu dalam proses pembelajaran SKI di kelas. Title: Problematics Ski Learningin Madrasah Tsanawiyah YAPI Pakem       Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the learning problems of SKI in Madrasah Tsanawiyah YAPI Pakem. This type of research is descriptive qualitative that emphasizes the use of field data (natural). Data sourced from the order of reality is carried out directly by researchers in the situation it is. Qualitative descriptive research seeks to describe all the symptoms or conditions that exist, namely the state of symptoms according to what they are at the time the study was conducted. The resullt of this reseaarch is  in reality, when conducted research using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation in the field of learning the history of Islamic Culture in MTs YAPI Pakem Sleman Regency experienced several obstacles. Among the obstacles experienced in SKI learning are; First, there are different backgrounds of students. Second, the educational background of teachers who are not competent. Third, the lack of facilities and infrastructure in supporting the SKI teaching and learning process. Fourth, limited time in the SKI learning process in class.

This study aims to determine the process of implementation the <em>parunrungi baju </em>and <em>attarasa’s </em>tradition in the Konjo community adult process, how is the existance of the <em>parunrungi baju </em>and <em>attarasa’s </em>tradition in the modern area, and how is the islamic perspective on the procession of tradition. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. Data sources are primary and secondary data. Researcher as a key instrument. Data collection methods are observation, deep interview and documentation. <em>Parunrungi baju </em>and <em>attrarasa’s </em>tradition is a traditional ceremony held by Konjo community in eastern Bulukumba, when  a child enters adulthood. The traditional still exists carried out by the community of Konjo until now, as a way to appreciate the ancestrals heritage. According to the islamic perpective on the procession of the traditional ceremonies, such as the presentation of offerings and flattening of teeth <em>(attarasa)</em> is considered contradictory to the existing rules in islam.<br /><p align="center"> </p>

The presence of Islamic education is expected to be an alternative solution to educational problems caused by the materialism education system. This present study aims at investigating education from an Islamic perspective and its role in fostering Islamic personality. This study employed a qualitative approach and literature review method. Based on the results of the discussion, there has been no agreed term on education based on Islamic perspective. However, in this case, the writer is more inclined to ta'dÄb as the term for education in Islam since it, based on its conceptual structure, has included the elements of science (ilm), teaching (ta'lÄ«m), and good care (tarbiyaħ). The purposes of Islamic education are to develop an Islamic personality and to master Islamic safaqah, science and technology, and adequate expertise. In Islam, teachers are regarded as a highly honored person, and students are encouraged to maintain good character and conduct (adab) when they interact with their teachers. In addition, Islamic curriculum and education materials are supposed to be in line with the Islamic Aqeedah (faith). In principle, Islamic education methods have their own characteristics and one of them is the Quranic education method. All media and facilities are permissible as long as it does not conflict with the Islamic Aqeedah (faith). The evaluation in Islamic education consists of measurements and assessments covering the aspects of aqliyah, qolbiyah, and amāliyah. Islamic education plays an important role in fostering Islamic personality since it is inseparable from the idea of Islamic education in order to foster an Islamic personality.

SMP Negeri 1 Sigalangan is one of the largest public education-based schools in Batang Angkola District which is equipped with complete facilities and facilities. This research was conducted to determine the use of infocus media in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education, and what subject matter uses infocus media, also what are the obstacles experienced by teachers in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education and how the teacher's solution in overcoming obstacles in increase student motivation to learn Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 1 Sigalangan. Based on the background of the problem above, the purpose of this study is to find out how the use of infocus media in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education, what materials use infocus media, also what are the obstacles experienced by teachers in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education. and how the teacher's solution in overcoming obstacles in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 1 Sigalangan.The discussion of this research is related to the study of the use of infocus media, in connection with that the approach taken is the theories related to the use of infocus media, the definition of infocus media, the history of the development of infocus media, the advantages and disadvantages of using infocus media, the use of infocus media and constraints on utilization. infocus media.To find out the results of this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach, namely research conducted by observing the surrounding phenomena and analyzing them using descriptive logic by describing and interpreting the object in accordance with what it is. Data collection instruments used were observation and interviews. Data analysis was used with qualitative descriptive analysis.Based on the discussion and research results, it can be seen that the use of infocus media in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education is still categorized as good, because the teachers of Islamic Education in this school are still implementing infocus media even though its use is assisted by school staff. And materials that often use infocus media are material on Islamic Cultural Date, Understanding the history of Islamic da'wah, and Understanding praiseworthy and despicable behavior. The obstacles experienced by the teacher were the lack of the teacher's ability to use infocus media and the lack of student interest in attending Islamic Religious Education lessons. The teacher's solution in overcoming these obstacles is only a suggestion from the principal so that teachers make it a habit of using infocus media to be more competent and always provide directions to students to be more active in following Islamic religious education lessons.

This article aimed to study one of the phenomenological approaches proposed by Richard C. Martin. Religion is a complicated thing to be studied. Since Islam as a multi-dimensional religion requires a comprehensive study through methods and approaches. Generally, Richard C. Martin stated that religion is a social phenomenon that arises or is intentionally raised to regulate the goodness of human life. Commonly, this kind of approach is still unacceptable, but it should be considered as a research object for academics (khawas). Especially in Islamic education academics. The authors employed library research method to further elaborate on Richard C. Martin's thought in his phenomenological approach. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach.
