Progress in information and technology simultaneously affect patterns of interaction and communication systems in education and learning. The availability of increasingly complex communication devices, is so simple that it is increasingly easy to use. Communication is a bridge to establish interactions between individuals and groups, sending messages between individuals and groups can be received directly without time difference even though far apart. The learning process as an interaction and communication is directed to help develop all the potential, skills, positive characteristics possessed by students. Learning interaction patterns and criteria can be done with basic patterns of interaction, interaction centered on content, interaction centered on the teacher, interaction centered on students, communication learning is very important in order to determine the success of education. The learning achievements of each graduate are also influenced by patterns of interaction and communication systems applied by educators. The teaching and learning process, mostly occurs because of the communication process, both which takes place intrapersonal and interpersonal. Progress an educational technology also results in the increasingly available educational devices based on optic / teleconference sources and learning materials available on the internet, media and learning tools based on visual and audio visual. Learning technology will lead to curriculum improvement, improvement of teacher / lecturer resources, improvement of graduate quality, absorption of graduates and satisfaction of alumni users. Abstrak Kemajuan informasi dan teknologi secara simultan sudah mempengaruhi pola interaksi dan sistem komunikasi pendidikan dan pembelajaran.
The teaching and learning process is a communication process that undergoes and changes to develop an interactive-based learning model, with the use of learning media being part of learning resources which is a combination of software (learning materials) and hardware (learning tools). Media can foster positive attitudes in students and transform the role of teachers in a more positive and productive direction. According to Reigeluth (1999), in supporting the learning process there are three learning variables, namely variables of learning conditions, methods, and variables of learning outcomes. Knowledge in historical teaching materials to Vocational Middle School Students, a teacher not only teaches theory but also through practice, like playing Ludo games. By learning to use game teaching, ludo in history learning can be a capital for teachers to act as an evaluation stage in measuring students' ability to be able to improve their thinking power through HOTS questions. The need to increase critical thinking in students, because of the enormous influence of critical thinking in improving student learning so that the results are good and following what is expected by teachers in schools. Bayer (1995), “Reasonable critical thinking.” Critical thinking is useful for studying the validity of the form (statements, ideas, arguments, research, etc.).

Purpose of the study: This study aimed at finding out the efficiency of traditional whiteboard use in classroom settings. It is known that there are a lot of advancements in teaching and learning tools, including the means of whiteboards which can be altered by using projectors. Methodology: This study was mainly under the qualitative design where the authors mainly weighed the data reliability on the quality of the respondents’ responses through the open-ended questionnaire set. There were 177 senior college students involved as the respondents, who volunteered to fill out the questionnaire set about the effectiveness and efficiency of whiteboard use in classroom settings. The data gathered from the questionnaire were then analyzed using percentages to see the students’ agreement on the statements in the questionnaire set. Main findings: The results indicate that students still perceive that whiteboards—despite its traditionalism—help assist their learning process. Applications of this study: However, there are several points that teachers need to justify concerning the whiteboard skills namely general writing ability including handwriting legibility, setting-up ability, making optimum use of whiteboards, and cleaning up compliance. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study takes into account the efficiency of conventional whiteboard uses in the globalized era. Although a lot of kinds of digital whiteboards and projectors are in use, students still consider that the use of conventional whiteboard is still necessary.

Students' lack of Arabic language skills might be caused by some factors, such as the models and strategies used by teachers, the students’ excitement in learning and their character. This study aimed to research on the epistemology of Arabic learning based on ICT. It was designed to find the Arabic learning model based on ICT. It assumed that integrating various fields of study with ICT, including Arabic language learning, is essential to be developed in this digital era. However, there are obstacles experienced by several schools, especially the teachers, they do not have a specific format for using ICT to integrate both scientific subjects. Descriptive qualitative research was used in this research. The data collection was done through observation, interviewing the teachers and one hundred X grade students, and documentation. The data were analyzed by using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results showed that the design of the ICT-based in Arabic learning model development is “al-hasub al-ittishalî”, this is an innovative Arabic learning model based on ICT. In this model, the materials and other learning tools are designed in a computer program. As stated by E. L. Criswell, computers provide opportunities for students to participate and respond to the student’s activities actively. This model contributes in making the teaching and learning process more effective. With this model, the teacher is expectedly able to become a learning motivator and a mediator to explain some materials to the students. Besides, the use of ICT is a must considering the digital era.
