Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by blood glucose levels exceeding normal and impaired metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins due to a relative or absolute deficiency of insulin hormones. This study aimed to determine the relationship between dietary compliance, physical activity, and adherence to taking medication with blood sugar levels when in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This type of research was analytical with a cross-specific approach that uses a sample of 46 Rejang tribal diabetes mellitus patients who come to Curup Health Center, Prumnas Health Center and Delima Village Health Center during the period of August to October 2018 which met the criteria for inclusion and exclusion. The instruments used were food recall forms, questionnaires, medical records and glucometers. The results of the study were processed by bivariate analysis using the chi square test and multivariate analysis with logistic regression test. The results of the bivariate statistical test dietary compliance variable p = 0.001 OR = 15,343, CI = 3,327-67,636, and the medication adherence variable p = 0,035, OR = 4,038, CI 1,061-15,370. There was a significant relationship between diet compliance, adherence to taking medication with blood sugar levels when in patients with diabetes melititus Rejang tribe Rejang Lebong District. DM patients are expected to always adhere to diet, physical activity and medication treatment.

Background: Mellitus Diabetes is a chronic degenerative disease of increasing prevalence. Diabetes Mellitus  has characteristics such  as hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormal insulin sekreksi. Insulin or both that cause a variety of chronic complications in the eyes of the kidneys, nerves, and blood vessels.Objective: to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge about the blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patient compliance to blood sugar control in the health center in Depok 3, Sleman, Yogyakarta.Method: Kind of research is observasional analytic with cross sectionalapproach. The study population was all patients with Diabetes Mellitus in thehealth center in Depok 3, Sleman, Yogyakarta, totaling 95 people. A sample size 48 people. Data collection was done bygiving kueaioner to all the respondents of the study. Processing data using Chi Square test with a standard error of 5% and α = 0,05.Result: Based onbiavariate analiysis there is no relationship between the level of knowledge about the blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patient compliance to blood sugar control in primary Depok 3, Sleman, Yogyakarta is (p = 0,119).Conclusion: There is no relationship between the level of knowledge about the blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patient compliance to blood sugar control in health center in Depok 3, Sleman. Yogyakarta.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder due to the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the body cannot use insulin that is produced effectively. Indonesia has 10.3 million sufferers and standon 7th position in the world after China, India, United States of America, Brazil, Russia, Mexico, on 2017 at the province of South Kalimantan’s on 2nd position that were 10.875, at Banjarbaru in 2017 is held on 2nd ranked which had 2.968 cases, at Idaman Banjarbaru Hospital on the Internal Medicine Polyclinic  there were 394 patients from January till April and estimated that will be 100 diabetes mellitus patients. This research is aimed to knowing the correlation of knowledge and compliance of diet with blood sugar levels of patients with  diabetes mellitus  at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic in Banjarbaru Hospital 2018. This type of research is a description of correlation research using cross sectional design. This research was carried out to 55 respondents. The results that tested using Chi-Square with a value of α=0.1 proved to have no correlation of knowledge with blood sugar levels (p=0.234) and proved to have a correlation of adherence to diet with blood sugar levels (p=0.00). From this study it can be concluded that knowledge proved to have not correlation with blood sugar levels and dietary compliance was shown to have a correlation with blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients at Internal Medicine Polyclinic Idaman Banjarbaru Hospital 2018.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by an increase in blood glucose (hyperglycemia). Physical activity has an impact on insulin action in people at risk for diabetes mellitus.Lack of activity is one of the contributing factors that causes insulin resistance in type II diabetes mellitus and diet is the behavior of humans or a group of humans in meeting their dietary needs which include food attitudes, beliefs and choices. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between patterns of physical activity and diet with blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes melitustipe II. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between patterns of physical activity and diet with blood sugar levels. Conclusions there is a relationship between patterns of physical activity and diet with blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes melitustipe II

ABSTRACT Background: An increase in blood sugar levels caused diabetes mellitus, and various other health complications. One of the herbal therapy approaches can be used by consuming mahogany seeds which are believed to reduce blood glucose levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of consuming mahogany seeds to reduce blood sugar levels. Subjects and Method: This was a quasi-experiment with non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design conducted on March 24-26 2020. A sample of 22 respondents was divided into 2 groups: treatment group and control group selected by purposive sampling. The data was collected by observation. The data was analysed by Paired t-test. Results: The treatment group before consuming the dry extract of Mahogany seeds (Mean= 258.27; SD= 46.98), and after consuming the dry extract of Mahogany seeds (Mean= 185.36; SD= 38.85). In the control group, before consuming the extract of Mahogany seed ekring (Mean= 224.27; SD= 14.73), and after consuming Mahogany seed extract (Mean= 213.27; SD= 6.75). It was statistically significant (p= 0.001). Conclusion: Consumption of dry extract of Mahogany seeds effectively reduces blood sugar levels in patients with Diabetes Mellitus. Introduction: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin or the body cannot effectively use the insulin produced by the pancreas. There are 4 ways to maintain blood glucose levels, namely; pharmacological therapy, nutritional therapy, diabetes self management education, and physical activity. Walking exercise is the most often described as the modalities of physical activity to improve health. Objective: The research objective was to determine the effect of walking physical activity on blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients in the work area of ​​the Cianjur Kota Health Center in 2021. Method: This study used a design quasi-experimental with an approach one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all 620 people with diabetes mellitus who were taken using a simple random sampling technique, which was 17 respondents. Results: Analysis of data using test paired sample t-test. Statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ha is accepted, which means there is an effect of physical activity on foot on blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients in the work area of ​​the Cianjur Kota Health Center in 2021. Conclusion: This study found that walking exercise as far as 2,5 km for 30 minutes can lower blood sugar levels significantly in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder marked increase in blood glucose. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2013 the incidence of diabetes mellitus in the world reached 347 million people in Indonesia alone ranks among the seven countries with the highest diabetes prevalence of 7.6 million people. Among the causes of the increase in blood glucose levels in diabetics is due to psychological factors, namely anxiety. In the pre-survey results in Puskesmas Sumbersari Bantul note that from 8 patients with diabetes mellitus, there are 6 people experiencing anxiety and 2 do not complain any signs of anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of anxiety with blood glucose levels of diabetics mellitus in Puskesmas Sumbersari Bantul District of South Metro City. The type quantitative research, form design used is cross sectional. The population in this study are patients with diabetes mellitus in Puskesmas Sumbersari Bantul District of South Metro totaling 408 samples taken as many as 41 people. The analysis in this study using the test Person Product Moment. Statistical analysis showed that anxiety patients with diabetes mellitus are at an average score of 27.44 with a standard deviation of 4.353 and the average blood sugar levels of people with diabetes mellitus are at 339.78 mg / dL with a standard deviation of 74.742. In the Person Product Moment test results proved no relationship anxiety with blood sugar levels of people with diabetes mellitus (p-value = 0.000 <a 0.05). Pearson correlation results obtained value of 0.817 towards a positive correlation with the strength of the relationship is very strong. Conclusions research shows there is an anxiety relationship with blood glucose levels of diabetics mellitus.

ABSTRACTDiabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease whose prevalence continues to increase. WHO predicts that diabetes will be 7 major diseases that will cause the death in 2030. Many people with diabetes are not aware of  it so that they get complications. The increasing number of people with diabetes mellitus who develop complications because of the bad controlling of blood sugar levels  and the lack of support from family. The Complications were observed in this study is microvascular complications. This study aims to analyze between family support and control blood sugar levels with the incidence of microvascular complications in the patients with symptoms of diabetes mellitus in the Community Health Center Jagir Surabaya.This research uses analytic observational study sample of patients with diabetes mellitus who had diabetes mellitus ≥ 5 years as many as 34 samples. The Sampling was done by the simple random sampling, while the data analysis was done by the Chi Square test.The results showed that there was no relationship between family support with symptoms of microvascular complications (p=0.069), but there is a relationship between the control of blood sugar levels with symptoms of microvascular complications (p=0.002).The Microvascular symptoms that are often experienced by people with diabetes mellitus in the Community Health Center Jagir is symptomatic neuropathy complications . The proportion of patients with diabetes mellitus who received family support at 55.9%, while  the patients with diabetes mellitus who control the blood sugar levels well totaling 17 respondents. It is expected that people with diabetes mellitus to control eating diet and regular exercise. Keywords : Family support, blood sugar levels control, symptoms of microvascular complications.

Diabetes mellitus is one of chronic disease whose incidence increases. The success of diabetes mellitus treatment is strongly influenced by patient compliance to carry out treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer support on dietary compliance of diabetes mellitus sufferers at Randu Agung RW X. This study used pre-experiment one-group pre-post test design on sample of 28 diabetes mellitus sufferers in Randu Agung RW X, used purposive sampling technique. The instrument used Satuan Acara Kegiatan (SAK), attendance list, and compliance questionnaire of diabetes mellitus with 3J program. The analysis of the data used the Mc Nemar test. The statistical test results obtained P <0.05 (0.000), it meant H1 was accepted; there was an effect between peer support and dietary compliance in diabetes mellitus sufferers. Peer support is a new technique to control the blood sugar levels of people with diabetes by involving peers who have similar diseases to share experiences, provide support, and motivation so that enthusiasm in running their dietary increases. If someone sees other people successfully controlling their blood sugar levels through good dietary compliance, it will foster that person's enthusiasm to be able to comply with the diabetes mellitus dietary program. The implication of the study results is that providing education with peer support can help other people in similar situations to increase dietary compliance in diabetes mellitus sufferers.

Pencegahan komplikasi penyakitpada Penderita DM memerlukan peran keluarga sebagai mitra petugas kesehatan denganmengontrol regulasi kadar glukosa darah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui  pengaruh peran keluarga terhadap regulasi kadar gula darah. Penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah penderita diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Balowerti kota kediri sebanyak 90 orang. Sampel penelitian yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive  sampling.Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji chi squarePenelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2019 sampai dengan Juni 2019. Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan uji korelasi sederhana , dengan chi square menunjukkan (p=0,005) yang berarti ada hubungan peran keluarga  mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan terhadap  regulasi kadar gula dalam darah penderita DM. Disarankan perlunya bimbingan dan penyuluhan pada penderita tentang latihan jasmani, diit yang sehat, berhenti merokok, penggunaan obat antidiabetik dan efek sampingnya, serta pentingnya control gula darah, meningkatkan informasi tentang DM, komplikasi, dan penanggulangannya. Kata kunci: Peran keluarga, regulasi kadar gula darah, diabetes melitus Abstract The Effect Of Role Of Family On Regulation Levels Of Sugar Blood Patients DM. Prevention of disease complications in DM sufferers requires the role of the family as partners of Health workers by controlling the regulation of blood glucose levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the role of the family on the regulation of blood sugar levels.This research is a quantitative descriptive correlation with the cross approach sectional. The study population was people with diabetes mellitus at the health center Balowerti city of Kediri as many as 90 people. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. The collection of research data using a questionnaire, while the analysis of data using the chi square test The study was conducted in May 2019 to June 2019.   The test results using a simple correlation test, with chi square shows (p = 0.005) so that Ho is rejected and Hı is accepted, which means there is a relationship between the role of the family has a significant relationship to the regulation of blood sugar levels in patients with DM. Suggested the need for guidance and counseling to sufferers about physical exercise, healthy diet, smoking cessation, the use of antidiabetic drugs and their side effects, as well as the importance of blood sugar control, increasing information about DM, complications, and prevention. Keywords : The role of the family, regulation of blood sugar levels, diabetes mellitus
