The objective of this research was to improve the listening comprehension of the students of SMPN 1 Maiwa by using English Movies. The research aimed to see if English movies can improve the listening skills of students and to find out how students are using English Movies to increase their listening skills. The pre-experimental method was used. Students from SMPN 1 Maiwa in 2018/2019, which comprises 20 students, were part of the research. Ten first-class students and 10 second-class students. In taking the sample, the author used a random sample. The researcher used data collection methods and questionnaires. The researcher has distributed listening tests by pre-testing and post-testing and sent questionnaires to gather information on their attitudes towards using English movies. Work suggests that the listening abilities of the students were poor in the preliminary examination. Their ability to listen is considerably increased after therapy. From their score, it can be seen that changed well. The findings evaluated with the t-test suggest that the t-test value is higher than the t-table (7.98>2.093). English Movies can be concluded to develop the listening skills of students.

Introduction. The credibility of librarians is one of the factors that support user satisfaction  with library services. This study discusses the impact of the expertise, attractiveness and trustworthiness of librarians on the user satisfaction  at the Amikom University Library, Purwokerto. Data Collection Methods. This study uses a quantitative approach, quota method, with a total sample of 188 people. Data Analysis. The data were tested using validity, reliability, multiple regression, and hypothesis test involving t-test and f-test. Results and Discussion. H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It can be seen that the credibility of librarians affects the user satisfaction by 31.7% and another 70% was influenced by other things that were not examined in this study. Based on data analysis, the results showed that authenticity, trustworthiness, and attractiveness have significant impacts on user satisfaction. Conclusion. Although several aspects are considered as supporting factors, a credible librarian supports user satisfaction significantly.

AbstractHumans on earth need social interaction with others. Humans can use more than one language in communication. Thus, the impact that arises when the use of one or more languages is the contact between languages. One obvious form of contact between languages is interference. Interference can occur at all levels of life. As in this study, namely Indonesian Language Interference in Learning PPL Basic Thailand Unhasy Students. This study contains the form of interference that occurs in Thai students who are conducting teaching practices in the classroom. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that seeks to describe any interference that occurs in the speech of Thai students when teaching practice. Data collection methods in this study are (1) observation techniques, (2) audio-visual recording techniques using CCTV and (3) recording techniques, by recording all data that has been obtained. Whereas the data wetness uses, (1) data triangulation, (2) improvement in perseverance and (3) peer review through discussion. Data analysis techniques in this study are (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation and (4) conclusions. It can be seen that the interference that occurs includes (1) interference in phonological systems, (2) interference in morphological systems and (3) interference in syntactic systems.

The Impact

The increasing number of regions proposing themselves to form new autonomous regions since the enactment of Law Number 32 of 2004 concerning "Regional Government", aims to improve economic development and the welfare of the people in each region. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of regional expansion on the economic growth of North Toraja Regency. The Technik of data collection in this study uses the documentary Technik, which is in the form of reports from relevant agencies. The analysis technique used is by using the independent sample T-test. The results of the study show that regional expansion has an impact on the economic growth of North Toraja Regency.

This chapter reports on a research project on the homeschooling phenomenon in Mexico and how parents perceive the use of online programs to undertake academic activities with their children. It is in this space that this chapter is located, as it explores the changes to the phenomenon of homeschooling and the impact communication technology and, more specifically, of national and international educational platforms have had on the processes of follow-up and accreditation in Mexico and Latin America. In what follows, this chapter explores the situation in Mexico in particular and Latin America more broadly. It begins by exploring the problem statement and the question guiding this chapter. It then undertakes a literature review, from which it ascertains a theoretical lens and methodology. The data collection methods and the data are then outlined. Then, data are analysed.

The purpose of this study is to find  how much the influence storytelling method for speaking skills of elementary school  01 Waru Sidoarjo inter class. The kind of the study use quantitative  of kind pre-experimental with one grup desain of pretest-posttest. the sampling technique in this study  use  purposive sampling technique with certain considerations, which use all members of the population as a sample of 25 students inter A class. the  data collection methods  are descriptive statistic and analysis prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of students analysis are speaking skills before using the storytelling method is in the medium category. Furthermore, the T test was compare with a 5% significance level of 1.7081.  Then it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. While the calculation of the level influence obtained 0,91 results which means that there is a large influence in the study, because eta square is 0,91 > 0,41. These results illustrate that the speaking skills of students in class 3 are influenced by using the storytelling method in grade 3 elementary school at Bangah 01 Waru Sidoarjo.

Indonesia is ranked 74 out of 100 countries and is in the low category in the EF EPI 2020 (Education First English Proficiency Index). Grammar and tenses are the basic components in English. This study aims to design, create, and implement learning 16 English tenses for college students. The learning media will provide tables and explanations of 16 tenses in English, sentence examples and exercises in the form of quizzes equipped with pronunciation sentences to practice listening skills. The data collection methods used were interviews, questionnaires, documentation and literature. The application is made based on Android that can be downloaded on Google Play. Based on the results of 50 college students’ evaluation, it stated that in terms of material, 91,9% was easy to understand, while in terms of UI, 97.6% was interesting to use, and in terms of UX, 90,8% was easy to use. Based on the interview results of 3 English lecturers in this study, it can be concluded that 83,7% of the material is suitable for the college student level, while in terms of UI, 86.7% is Demandia, Vol. 06 No. 02 (September 2021) 278 interesting to use, and in terms of UX. 91.7% is easy and recommended to be used as a supporting media for learning English at STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. This analytic descriptive study aims to determine the impact of the accompanying teacher of the SM3T program towards on the learning interest of the students in biology subject at SMKN 1 Kintamani, Bangli, Province of Bali. Data collection methods with observation, questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive. The results of the regression analysis between the presence of the accompanying teacher and the learning interest of the students in Biology subject get a determination value of 0.28. These data indicate that 28% of the learning interest of students at SMK 1 Kintamani is influenced by the presence of a companion biology teacher in the Direktorat PSMK program.   Abstrak. Penelitian deskriptif analitik ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak program guru pendamping Direktorat PSMK (Program SM3T) terhadap animo belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMKN 1 Kintamani, kabupaten Bangli, Propinsi Bali. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, angket dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis regresi antara adanya guru pendamping dengan animo belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi mendapatkan nilai determinasi sebesar 0,28. Data tersebut menenuntukkan bahwa 28% animo belajar peserta didik di SMKN 1 Kintamani dipengaruhi oleh adanya guru biologi pendamping pada program Direktorat PSMK.   Kata Kunci: Guru Pendamping, Program Direktorat PSMK, Animo Belajar

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia since March 2109 has an impact on all aspects of life, including in this study the impact on mosque cash. This study aims to analyze the trend of obtaining mosque cash funds at the Istiqomah Ungaran Grand Mosque before and during the covid-19 pandemic, if there is a decline then what causes the decline to occur and what philanthropic strategies are made by mosque administrators to optimize the mosque's cash funds. This research was completed by using a mixed method qualitative and quantitative with data collection methods through observation, interviews, documentation and group discussion forums (FGD). This study found that a significant decrease occurred in the cash fund of the Great Mosque of Istiqomah Ungaran due to the reduced activities organized by the mosque. The strategy made by the administrators of the Istiqomah Grand Mosque in Ungaran is with online recitations as well as infaq payments and online Istiqomah RA and SD Istiqomah tuition payments.

This study aims to find out the impact of instructional media and intrapersonal intelligence on the learning outcome of Chemistry course of students of SMP Negeri 90 Jakarta. This study applies experimental method with Treatment by level 2x2 research design. For data collection purposes, this study uses multiple choice test to collect data of the students’ learning outcome and questionnaire to collect data of the students’ intrapersonal intelligence. The result of this study shows that : (1) learning outcome of Chemistry course of the students who were given internet-based instructional media is higher than those who were given module-based instructional media, (2) there is interactional influence between instructional media and intrapersonal intelligence on the learning outcome of Chemistry course of the students, (3) for students who have high intrapersonal intelligence, learning outcome of Chemistry course of the students who were given internet-based instructional media is higher than those who were given module-based instructional media, and (4) there is no significant difference of learning outcome of Chemistry course of students with low intrapersonal intelligence between those who were given internet-based instructional media and those who were given module-based instructional media

This study aims to influence the investment of gold on investment decisions on the employees of Bank Mandiri branch of Padang, To determine the effect of stock investment on investment decisions on employees of Bank Mandiri branch Padang, To determine the effect of gold and stock investment on investment decisions on employees of Bank Mandiri branch Padang and For knowing which investment decisions are most preferred by employees of Bank Mandiri branch Padang. Data collection methods used in this research is by using research lapanga and research library. Methods of data analysis in this study using multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The test results t t Investment Gold Investment Decision obtained t value of 2.152 is greater than t table of 2.002 and the value of sig of 0.000 smaller than 0.05 so that Gold Investment variables significantly influence the Investment Decision ,2) The result of t test of Investment Tests on Investment Decision found t value equal to 13,498 bigger than t table equal to 2,002 and value of sig equal to 0,001 less than 0,05 so variable of Investment of Saham has significant effect to Investment Decision 3) Result of F test test Gold Investment and Stock Investment to Investment Decision found the value of F arithmetic equal to 123,233 bigger than F table equal to 4,00 and sig value equal to 0.000 less than 0,05 so that variable of Gold Investment and Investment of Stock have significant effect to Investment Decision 4) Based on the answers given by employees quizoner of PT. Bank Mandiri branch of Padang is known type of investment is the most other selected by 25 respondents, gold by 20 respondents and shares of 15 respondents. (YG)
