Gampong is the lowest government in the government system in Indonesia. In recent years, gampongs or villages have been given great authority in implementing village governance, especially in preparing village / gampong development plans. In implementing the gampong government, the keuchik who leads the gampong government, apart from being assisted by the village secretary and gampong apparatus, is also assisted by a customary institution known as Tuha Peut. One of the functions of tuha peut is given the authority to carry out the joint development planning function with the village keuchik as outlined in the RKPG document. The socialization of tuha peut functions in gampong governance is necessary to provide an in-depth understanding of the duties and functions of tuha peut as partners of the gampong government in implementing the wheels of government and development. The formulation of the problem in this activity is limited to the socialization of tuha peut's function in compiling a work plan for village development (RKPD / G). The method used in this service is a qualitative method through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Keywords: Socialization, Tuha Peut Gampong, Village Development Work Plan

Work placements as a form of Work Integrated Learning are widely recognised for the positive impact they have on improving the employability and work readiness of students. Assessment Centres (ACs) are widely used in corporate settings for recruitment, selection and more recently to provide developmental feedback to participants. The present project aimed to evaluate the application of AC methodology as a tool for measuring and subsequently enhancing professional competencies in a sample of postgraduate students in organisational psychology (n=15). A longitudinal design was utilised with numerous evaluation points from work placement stakeholders. This paper presents the first wave of findings. Students undertook a range of activities, including an in-tray exercise, a role play, a written report and a leaderless group discussion. Comprehensive feedback was provided to the students by Organisational Psychologists who also fulfil the role of placement co-ordinators. With the assistance of the Placement Co-ordinators, students prepared development plans relating to the competencies identified as requiring development. These development plans were to be addressed whilst on consecutive work placements. Performance evaluations collected to date, as measured by behaviourally based ratings scales completed by the students themselves and their organisational supervisors illustrate the positive effect of this methodology. Initial perceptions gathered from students with regards to their participation in this initiative were very encouraging. The ongoing application of AC methodology as a process to enhance development planning, placement outcomes and work readiness for postgraduate students is discussed.

Mapping of data and information on the preparation of village development planning dikecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar. The preparation of village development planning is very important to be carried out by the village head and its equipment. The objectives of the village planning arranged for the village development plan can be discussed in the village development consultation forum. In this Forum the village development plan is matured, so it becomes the Village Development Plan. The preparation of village development planning can not be carried out properly, without complete data and information either in the implementation of village government, organization and governance of village administration, village finance, village profile and other information related to governance and community empowerment. The three villages that were used as research mapping object in Kampar sub-district Tambang were Tarai build village, Rimbo Panjang village and Tambang village. Village development planning in the three sample villages appears to be underdeveloped by complete data and information, and this has a major impact on the Village Mid Term Development Plan (RPJMDesa) and the Government-Village Action Plan (RKP -Desa) which guides development implementation in the countryside

The data obtained in this research was collected through focus group discussion (FGD) with a number of stakeholdrs as informant namely leaders of the 5 pesantrens taken as sample along with a couple of their students. Based on field study, we discovered that the success of pesantren in building entrepreneurship activities are dominantly determined by internal initiative and creativity driven by entrepreneurs/managers/ initiators of pesantren, supported by their students. Other pesantrens that have succeeded to build their economic independencies have also received assistance from the government through one pesantren one product (OPOP) program as external development driving factor, which motivated these pesantrens to contribute and to help the government to achieve the goals of this program.

Many problems related to the process of development planning in the region is the existence of  “ego sectoral” between the government apparatus in carrying out development. It can be seen that each agency tends to emphasize its duties and functions in development activities. Less optimal process of implementation of development process due to lack of synergy between sectors and target. Limitations of funds as a stimulant are also not matched by the active role of local governments to emerge regulations to encourage superior sectors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the preparation of economic development plans based on local economic potential in Banyuwangi by using interactive planning approach. In national development planning as well as in regional development planning, planning approach can be done in two ways: sectoral and regional (region) approach. Interactive planning method used in this research, to make planning in the future based on current problems faced then designing planning design to overcome those problems.
