Yogyakarta Special Region which has interesting places of interest and become a good potential to grow DIY citizen reconstruction. Tourism development efforts in each tourist attraction has been done to become an attractive destination for people who want to visit and recreation. One of them is the potential of the famous Water Tour is the water tour Lava Bantal and Embung Tegal Tirto existing Jogotirto Village, Berbah, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The Role of Awareness Group of Tourists in Water Tourism Development That is Lava Bantal and Embung Tegal Tirto In Jogotirto Village, Berbah, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta which has been developing water tourism object to become a destination place in Yogyakarta. Qualitative descriptive research with data retrieval through interview techniques to the actors of tourism that is the group of tourism awareness that developed the water tourism Embung Tegal Tirto and Lava Bantal and the spread of questionnaires to tourists who come to the water tour to know the responses of tourists to the Role of Group Conscious Tourism In Water Tourism Development In Jogotirto Village, Berbah, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. From the results of the questionnaire that 51.6% of tourist wisatwan asses s infrastructure facilities in tourism is good enough. Lava Bantal as a water tour is considered clean enough where as many as 60% of tourists in addition to the Lava Bantal business to create a sense of security is running well, where visitors always diterjaminnya vehicle while parked and quiet while enjoying the scenery in the object this is said to visitors as much 50%. Devices and citizens have kept objects well.

This research focuses on how leadership has a major role in addressing environmental issues, especially through the garbage bank program as a form of case study. Furthermore, the problems that occur in the midst of society are often rely solely on political will or political desire to solve them. The research is to know and learn Lurah's (head of village) leadership in the management of waste banks specifically. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through structured interviews, documentation and observations. Researchers conducted an analysis using leadership theory from Yukl, where the theory discusses leadership comprehensively. Researchers only focus on five parts of the concept that are considered relevant, namely: visionary, guidance, affiliative, democratic and communicative concepts. The results of this study based on these dimensions are good enough Lurah (head of village) leadership. But there are several things that are considered able to optimize the running of the program through the role of Lurah (Head of village) leadership, namely: first, involving active knots and community leaders such as MUI, academics to support scientific aspects, and professionals in the field of practical management. This study aims to identify and describe the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees and to find out what obstacles are the obstacles to the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees at SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency. Is a type of qualitative descriptive research and uses purposive sampling technique. There are five roles of the Principal and two obstacles faced by the Principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees. The results showed that the principal of SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency carried out the role of a leader by planning and deliberating; as a manager by creating collaboration between teachers and employees; as an educator by preparing a learning program plan; as an administrator by managing facilities and infrastructure as well as financial administration; motivator by providing motivation with a conducive school environment. The obstacles faced by the principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees are teachers and employees who are less disciplined in carrying out their duties so that it is also difficult to improve their work discipline, as well as obstacles in inadequate school facilities and infrastructure. Keywords: employees, leadership, principals, teachers, work discipline Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai dan untuk  mengetahui kendala apa saja yang menjadi penghambat peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai di SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Terdapat lima peran Kepala Sekolah dan dua kendala yang dihadapi oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember melaksanakan peran sebagai pemimpin dengan membuat perencanaan dan bermusyawarah; sebagai manajer dengan menciptakan kerjasama antara guru dan pegawai; sebagai pendidik dengan menyusun rencana program pembelajaran;sebagai administrator dengan mengelola sarana dan prasarana serta administrasi keuangan; motivator dengan memberikan motivasi  dengan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif. Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai yaitu guru dan pegawai yang kurang disiplin dalam melaksanakan tugas sehingga kesulitan pula dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerjanya, serta kendala dalam sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang belum memadai. Talent and creativity development require extraordinary counseling from the members of the family, and as such, it is necessary to highlight the crucial role of family counseling towards developing talent and creativity. The article aims to examine the contributory role of the family in talent and creativity growth. The study shall serve as a reference for families to eliminate challenges growing with talent and creativity maturation. If the family has no awareness of how to deal with their gifted son, it may cause psychological stress and academic problems, thus undoubtedly affect the child’s talent. Hence the importance of this study is to demonstrate the role of family counseling in developing the talent and creativity of the gifted child by providing support and awareness to the family on how to deal with this talent to preserve and develop this talent because the gifted individuals are the basic building blocks in the progress and development of societies. Therefore, the article attempts to analyze the talent and creativity of gifted children and counseling of gifted family. The article includes a quick overview of talent origins, components and techniques, the role of the family in talent and creativity development, family factors influencing talent, creativity, gifted children, and family counseling. The study is qualitative descriptive research since the approach is considered suitable for determining the particular role expected from the family towards developing talent and creativity. The approach used in this study is appropriate for pinpointing the responsibilities of families in the process of growing children’s talent and creativity.

This endeed of  research is to describe the place of the kolintang music ensemble to accompany the singin of the flag ceremony at SMP Sw. St. Paulus Sidikalang. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is flag ceremony. The research focussed on the role of Kolintang music ensemble as song chanting. The data of the final research was obtained from the observations of the flag-raising activities, interview with teachers, student adan kolintang’s players in junior high school and take a documentation. Data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Data validity is obtained through data triangulation, observer triangulation, theory triangulation and method triangulation. The purpose of this research is to know and descriebing  kolintang music. Example, in this research is by using numbered data such as document, archieves, interview results, observation result or also by interviewing more thn one subject that is consideret to have a different point of view.The result showed that : (1) In accompaniying singing at the flag-ceremony, students used the basic notes G, C and F. (2) the tecnic to performed kolintang    were not wheeled with a kolintang played general. (3). After carrying out their duties as chanting accompaniment in the ceremony, students who performed kolintang first practice on kolintang extracurricular activities. (4) in the process of playing kolintang, each player must have a strong feeling so that the technic kolintang is harmonious. Keywords : Descriptive Study, Ensemble, Kolintang music

Educational tourism as one of the development sectors of tourism is based on the community's need for educational variations. Educational tourism is suitable to be developed in locations that have limited locations and are in areas with residents. Tukad Bindu, as one of the densely populated areas in Denpasar, has the potential to develop educational tourism. The fast flow of the river becomes an attraction and strength in the tourism development needed by the local community. The learning model and the introduction of caring for nature can be applied to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu. In its development, the arrival of Covid-19 also affected the visit to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu which was seen in a drastic decrease in domestic tourists for almost 8 months. Strategic steps are needed in adapting the covid-19 virus so that the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu can still run. This study aims to obtain a standard health protocol that can be done in entering the area of Tukad Bindu tourist attraction using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research can be used in application during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that people can still visit the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu by following the applicable protocol.

As a medium of communication, a song has a great impact on children’s development. A small number of children song generate children to sing adult songs, however, there are some adult songs which are not suitable the children in relation to lyrics and theme. The incomprehension of the lyrics and meaning existed in the song can be psychologically influential for the child’s development. This study analyzes the role of Walt Disney’s cartoon soundtracks for character education to children. This is a qualitative-descriptive research, taking observation and in-depth interview to 10 informants who have children of 7-11 years old in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The results stated that the soundtracks How Far I’ll Go and Let It Go bring positive characters in contents that are useful for character education. The character education taken from lyrics of the songs is conveyed and developed by vocabulary enrichment, the discussion in easy-digested language, and storytelling. These require special time. The good changes in children’s good characters happen by time and process. Therefore, character education needs to be continued and developed in different ways.

This study aims to determine the effort to shape student character through the activities of intra-school student organizations (OSIS) in SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method that is research with direct decrease in spaciousness. In this study the determination of subjects and research objects using purposive sampling techniques, is data retrieval with several considerations so that the data will be more representative of all. Data collection using the method of observation, interviews, documentation and study of literature. Checking the validity of the data is obtained through data triangulation, method triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Character values applied through OSIS activities in which almost 18 character values are applied to students or all school members according to their respective portions. (2) One of the efforts to form student character through student council activities by participating in various activities that have been designed by student council, because in these activities can form student characters including participating in LKDS (Student Leadership Basic Training), in addition to other student council activities that can shape the character of students by conducting raids on every Saturday able to improve the discipline of all students in the school. (3) The obstacles in the effort to form student character through student council activities include lack of confidence in the student council members or student council organizers in carrying out activities or participating in activities, the difficulty of regulating hours between playing, studying, and organizing, this happens because of background and economics differentstudents.

This article describes on how the implementation of good governance is carried out by Padang City Government in sustainable tourism management. This research is aimed to (1) Overseeing the good governance implementation in Padang City Government in term of the development of sustainable tourism destinations. (2) Analyzing the sustainable tourism management viewing it from agency theory. It is a qualitative descriptive research, and performed in Padang City Culture and Tourism Office. More over, data collection utilizes observation, interview, and documentation. The good governance principle employed in this research are accountability, participation, and transparency. The result shows that the implementation of good governance at Padang City Culture and Tourism Office has been achieved well. It is as a result of the agency relationships occured within local government; the relationship with the executive in the role of Culture and Tourism Office, and with public as the community.

The purpose of this research is to empowered the community, in this case Tour Guide in introducing tourism object in South West Minahasa Regency, especially Silian Raya District and to empowered them through their skill as a Marketing Agent in increasing tourists to come to this area, and the third, is to boost the community economy by participating in community businesses in tourism field, which are cooperated with BUNDES. This is due to no marketing strategy that suit to sell the tourism objects by the businessmen in Kecamatan Silian Raya Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara. The previous marketing strategy through promotion that was implemented not well planned, takes some efforts and steps to synchronize, so the visitationsof tourist will increase.The method of this research used here is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive research is used to get the descriptions of role of Tour guide in increasing the tourist in Kecamatan Silian Raya, while to collect the data in this research are as follow, firstly, through interview to the businessmen, secondly, through observations, that is to observe directly about the existence of tourist in this district, thirdly through documentation which record all of the activity & the tourism objects.The outcome of this research is to put on an acreditate journal such as Hospitality and Tourism journal

BUMDesa activities are inseparable from community empowerment which aims to accommodate all community activities in the economic sector and as an alternative to poverty alleviation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the processes and factors supporting the empowerment of village communities carried out by BUMDesa Tirta Mandiri so that they get many achievements. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive research design. The research results show that the success of Ponggok Village is not obtained instantly but through a series of community empowerment processes. The role of the village government is very influential in the success of BUMDesa because it is not tired of conducting literacy studies by cooperating with academics and consultants. Various innovations were also developed to be able to compete and keep up with the times, therefore other village-level economic institutions such as Pokdarwis Wanua Tirta and UKM Nila Murni are collaborating with them to be more active in empowering the people of Ponggok Village.Keywords: BUMDesa, Community Empowerment, Ponggok Village
