Community Service conducted at SMP 37 is teaching national math preparation tests for class IX. The method of community service in Samarinda 37 State Junior High School is by teaching using the junior high school national exam practice module. Activities carried out through the stage of providing material operations of fractions, value comparisons and reversals of values, ranks and roots, calculation of loan and savings interest rates, arithmetic sequences and sequences and geometry, linear and quadratic equations, sets, linear functions, line equations, line gradients, flat circumference and shape area, congruent and congruent triangles, circle angle, circle circumference, circle elements, prism and pyramid elements, volume and surface area of ​​prism and pyramid, statistics, sample space, and opportunity. After all the material has been submitted, it is continued with the prediction of the national mathematics exams in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 with the development of the developed training modules. From the results of community service in Samarinda 37 Public Middle School, the level of student satisfaction found using modules was 41.52% very satisfied, 57.40% satisfied, 1.07% quite satisfied, and 0.00% dissatisfied. On the other hand, students also find it easier to understand learning if the teacher uses modules as teaching material in class

TRAINING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ONTO-SEMIOTIC APPROACH IN CLASS LEARNING FOR TEACHERS AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AL-BAHJAH TULUNGAGUNG. The purpose of this community service activity is the teachers training by implementing an onto-semiotic approach in classroom learning and produce a lesson plan. This activity done at Junior High School Al-Bahjah Tulungagung. The participants are teachers in Junior High School Al-Bahjah Tulungagung. The method used is theory method and practice. The results obtained throught this training are knowldge of innovative learning with an onto-semiotic approach for teachers and their ability to create and implement the lesson plan with an onto-semiotic approach.

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam mengajar mata pelajaran Bahasa inggris di Kabupaten Tabalong. Diharapkan para guru dapat mengenal dan mengaplikasikan teknik mengajar bahasa Inggris yang lebih efektif, menyenangkan, dan modern. Adapun sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru MGMP SMP mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Tabalong yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dan mendeskripsikan kegiatan pelatihan tentang teknik mengajar Bahasa Inggris yang modern. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian ini ditemukan sebagian besar guru belum mengetahui teknik terbaru dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris. Jadi, pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan praktik. Materi yang disampaikan disesuaikan dengan program-program yang sesuai dengan silabus pada tiap sekolah. Materi tersebut berkaitan dengan perancangan dan teknik pengajaran yang diikuti oleh praktik pengajarannya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan inovasi dan kreativitas para guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di sekolah, khususnya di tingkat SMP.                              This activity aims to deliver a short training to improve the creativity of junior high school teachers for teaching English in Tabalong District. It is expected that teachers can recognize and apply teaching techniques that are more effective, fun, and modern. The subjects of this activity are 30 junior high school teachers of English MGMP in the district of Tabalong. The method used in this community service is a qualitative method that aims to provide an overview and describe training on modern English teaching techniques. In this community service activity, it was found that most of the teachers did not know the latest techniques in teaching English. As a result, the training was carried out through the delivery of material, discussion, and practice. The material presented was adjusted to the programs which fit the syllabus in each school. The material was related to design and teaching techniques, followed by the teaching practice. It can be concluded that this short training is one way to improve teachers' innovation and creativity in teaching and to learn English, especially in junior high school level.

Diseases of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) are common diseases in the world. The diseases are essential due to morbidities, which affect the physiological functions in the head and neck region. Cerumen impaction is the most common finding disease of ENT in children. The community service was done to find the distribution of ear, nose, and throat examination results of students in Letjen Jamin Ginting Junior High School, Berastagi, especially cerumen impaction which then were treated with cerumen removal. The community service also aimed to increase student's knowledge about ENT disease. The ENT examination was done to 188 students. The students with cerumen impaction were treated with cerumen removal. The students also educated about ENT disease to improve knowledge about ENT disease. Among 188 students, the number of male students was more than female with 98 students (52.1%), where 76 students (40.4%) were 14 years old. 150 students (79.8%) did not have any complaint about their ear, nose, and throat. Ear fullness was a common chief complaint from the students with 15 students (8.0%). Ear disease was a frequent disease with 44 students (47.3%) and cerumen impaction as the most common findings with 43 students (22.9%). In ENT disease education, the evaluation was done with the highest result was get by 8 students with 80% corrected answers. Ear disease had high prevalence with cerumen impaction as the most common findings of ENT examination.

Menstrual Health Promotion Activities for Adolescent Women at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo is a form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at growing and enhancing healthy behavior in adolescents, especially in recognizing the phase of menstruation in adolescent women. The implementation of these activities on December 4, 2018 took place at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. The target is 7th grade students of the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for 3 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from the selection of health counseling materials to the submission of licensing to the relevant parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by 44 students and 1 teacher, participants participated in the activity with enthusiasm and conducive, the activity can be carried out on time smoothly. Keywords: Women’s youth knowledge, health promotion, menstruation.

This study aims to explore more about the conditions of organizational culture and work motivation of teachers and their influence on the performance of State Junior High School (SMP) teachers in Sector 5 in Indramayu Regency. This type of research is descriptive analytical. The population in this study were all state junior high school teachers in Sector 5 in Indramayu District. The number of teachers in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency was 420 people, namely 81 junior high school teachers in Sector 5 in Sector 5 in Indramayu Regency. Data analysis in this study used descriptive data analysis and multiple regression. The results of the study inform that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence between organizational culture on teacher performance in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency, and the amount of contribution is 7.4%. (2) there is a positive and significant influence between teacher work motivation on teacher performance in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency, and (2) the amount of contribution is 19%. (3) there is a positive and significant influence between organizational culture and teacher work motivation together on the performance of teachers in the Public Middle School in Sector 5 of Indramayu Regency, and (2) the contribution is 22.9%, while the rest is influenced by other factors that do not discussed in this study.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service is to increase the creativity of junior high school students in order to be able to use used plastic waste into crafts that are useful for everyday life and have economic value. This activities are held from February to April in the Natural Sciences laboratory and Multimedia room at the Pembangunan 1 Junior High School in Bogor and it is expected that all residents in the school can understand how to handle various types of garbage. In this activity the students are expected to be able to make various kinds of crafts ranging from accessories to souvenirs. Therefore, to explore that creativity, it is necessary to give examples of several items so that they are motivated to make it even able to transmit it to others. The method of this activity is uses the concept of visual learning and training that is prepared based on the creativity of each student, where the team becomes a facilitator. A facilitator is only functioning and acting as accompaniment and giving examples to students based on existing problems to overcome. The result is an increase in student activity and creativity in making crafts. The enthusiasm, practice and creativity that are shown provide an illustration that students are very happy to get assistance and training from the Abdimas team. Keywords: Training, Creativity, Accessories, Used Trash ABSTRAKTujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kreativitas siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) agar bisa memanfaatkan sampah plastik bekas menjadi kerajinan yang berguna untuk kehidupan sehari-hari dan memiliki nilai ekonomis. Kegiatan ini diselengarakan dari bulan Februari sampai April di laboratorium Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan ruang Multimedia SMP Pembangunan 1 Bogor serta diharapakan kepada seluruh warga di sekolah bisa memahami cara menangani berbagai sampah. Dalam kegiatan ini peserta didik diharapkan mampu untuk membuat berbagai macam kerajinan mulai dari aksesoris sampai souvenir. Maka dari itu, untuk menggali kreativitas itu, perlu diberikan contoh dari beberapa barang agar mereka termotivasi untuk membuat bahkan dapat menularkannya kepada orang lain. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan konsep pembelajaran visual dan pelatihan yang disusun berdasarkan kreativitas masing-masing siswa.. Seorang fasilitator hanyalah berfungsi dan bertindak mendampingi dan memberikan contoh kepada peserta didik yang didasarkan atas permasalahan yang ada untuk diatasi. Adapun hasilnya adalah peningkatan aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa di dalam membuat kerajinan tangan. Antusiasme, berlatih dan berkreasi yang ditunjukan memberikan gambaran bahwa peserta didik sangat senang mendapat pendampingan dan pelatihan dari tim abdimas.  Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Kreativitas, Aksesoris, Sampah Bekas

Abstrak: Kemampuan peserta didik tidak hanya dapat diberdayakan melalui proses belajar saja. Pelatihan Motivasi merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat ditempuh oleh pendidik untuk mampu memberdayakan kemampuan yang dimiliki peserta didiknya. Adanya peningkatan motivasi yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik secara tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi proses belajar, sehingga kemampuan peserta didik juga akan berkembang. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa Siswa SMP Al-Inayah Kecamatan Purwosari Kabupaten Pasuruan. Target khusus pada program pelatihan motivasi dan ESQ ini adalah siswa dapat lulus Ujian Nasional seiring dengan meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa. Kegiatan dalam program ini meliputi: persiapan dengan mengadakan observasi lokasi, wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah dan siswa, pengajuan ijin pelaksanaan pelatihan, persiapan sarana dan prasarana pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, refleksi pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pembuatan laporan akhir pengabdian.Abstract: The ability of students can not only be empowered through the learning process. Motivation Training is one way that educators can take to be able to empower the abilities of their students. An increase in motivation possessed by students can indirectly affect the learning process, so the ability of students will also develop. This community service aims to increase student motivation in Al-Inayah Junior High School Purwosari District, Pasuruan Regency. The specific target of the motivation and ESQ training program is students can pass the National Examination along with the increase in student motivation. The purpose of the service to high school/vocational high school, and junior high school students in malagusa Village, Aimas Distric, Sorong Regency is to provide knowledge and understanding to students about waste and plastic waste, types of plastic waste, the solution ecosystem. The method used is a lecture and demonstration method with sxhool students in Kelurahan Malagusa about waste and its handling. The results of the implementation of this community service where students attending Malagusa Village were(1) appreciation of the local government in this case the Malagusa village Government in this case the Malagusa Government regarding the seminar activities carried out (2) the high motivation of the community service seminar participant coming from Vocational, high school and junior high school students the whole village of Malagusa with liveliness asking questions at the discussion session guided by the activity organizing committee. (3) Increaasing students’ understanding, knowledge and ability in understanding about waste and increasing waste for the environment.

ABSTRAKDi era pandemi seperti sekarang ini semua bidang kehidupan mengalami perubahan atau pergeseran, tidak terkecuali juga bidang pendidikan. Hal ini dirasakan juga oleh sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah Nanggulan, Kulon Progo. Berbagai permasalahan yang ada di sekolah itu di antaranya minimnya sarana dan prasarana berkaitan dengan literasi digital dan rendahnya minat baca siswa. Berkaitan dengan dua hal tersebut, diadakanlah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan program literasi digital bagi guru, siswa, dan karyawan SMP Muhammadiyah Nanggulan serta pembentukan semacam forum/komunitas siswa sebagai untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasinya. Peningkatan literasi baca tulis siswa, guru, dan karyawan di SMP Muhammadiyah Nanggulan dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan serta pembentukan pojok baca dan pembentukan majalah sekolah “Sumunar” sebagai wadah bagi siswa, guru, dan karyawan untuk mengasah kemampuan literasinya. Kata kunci: literasi digital; SMP muhammadiyah nanggulan; kulon progo ABSTRACTIn the current pandemic era, all areas of life experience changes or shifts, including the field of education. In connection with these two things, community service activities were held in the form of digital literacy program counseling for teachers, students, and employees of Muhammadiyah Nanggulan Junior High School and the establishment of a kind of forum/student community to improve their literacy skills. The development of telecommunications technology has developed very rapidly. This is in line with the increase in internet data traffic which is growing tremendously. The use of the Internet has been used in all layers of the age segment both the older generation to the younger generation. Global competition in the future is very tight and required knowledge of technology, especially telecommunications technology. This is the basis of community service activities for young people to be given knowledge and education about telecommunications technology and its development and to prepare young people to welcome the 5G era to have competitiveness to face the competition map going forward. In this dedication activity, the method used is direct material exposure to students with the implementation of pre and post-tests as material for evaluating activities. Community service activities carried out in Palembang Muhammadiyah 6 Junior High School with a duration of community service activities for 1 day. The number of students who took part in the service was 60 people. In this service, it was found that almost all students have used the Internet with various uses both in the use of email, social media and social messenger, where Facebook is the most favorite social media for junior high school students. From the results of the pre and post-test evaluation, it was found that the level of student retention regarding telecommunications has increased.
