The subject of the research is media education as a factor that has caused changes in the system of education in general and in professional training of teachers in particular. The object of the research is teachers’ professional training. The aim of the work is to consider the transformed meanings of the concept “media education” and to show the role and goals of media education for the modern education system, as well as changes in quality requirements for training teachers who work in the field of media education. It is shown how media teaching-learning model has transformed, with the example of media libraries which has been developing modern educational media space. There is an updated assessment of the quality of information that children use not only within the school information space, but also from mass media, the Internet, etc., which makes skills for analyzing media texts a crucial condition for keeping safe the national human capital and culture and educating highly marketable specialists. There is analysis of differences in understanding the term “media literacy”, which entail further misunderstand-ing of the concept “media competence”. There is a dispute on the necessity to define the media competences for mere users and for educators. The authors conclude that the results of reviewing requirements for teachers’ professional training, caused by changes in educational environment through incorporating media in teaching-learning, make it necessary to refresh the process of training, to strengthen its technological component, to intensify language and communicative aspects regardless of specialization.

The purpose of the work is to show the basis of the analysis of media education history, and the transformation of understanding of its role in the learning process, its versatility in the modern education system, the opportunities it provides for solving the problems of the development of critical thinking of the individual, and the preservation of its security and personal space. The transformation of the concept of “media education” from learning technologies using media to technologies that form critical and analytical thinking for the adaptation of man to the conditions of life in the modern media space is shown. Modern media education is designed not to protect young people from the influence of the media, and to lead them to the best examples, but allows students to make informed decisions about their own protection, as well as intelligently present themselves in the media space, creating their own media product.

Статья посвящена анализу феномена медиаобразования в современном мире. Исходя из работ отечественных и зарубежных исследователей, автор полагает, что современная ситуация в мире делает медиаобразование необходимым атрибутом каждого человека, который использует интернет. Постулируется всепроникающий характер средств массовой коммуникации (СМК) в жизни современного человека и общества. Любая сфера человеческой деятельности (от труда до развлечения) в той или иной мере связана с медиапространством, будь то интернет или телевидение. Обучение потенциальных реципиентов грамотному взаимодействию с медиасредой — насущная педагогическая задача. В настоящее время особенно остро стоит проблема дифференциации реципиентом предлагаемого СМК контента на заслуживающий доверия или внимания и так называемый «информационный шум». В этом вопросе может помочь только целенаправленно воспитываемая медиаграмотность. The paper is devoted to the analysis of the phenomenon of media education in the modern world. Based on the work of domestic and foreign researchers, the author believes that the modern situation in the world makes media education a necessary attribute of every person who uses the Internet. The work proves the pervasive nature of the mass communication media (SMK) in the life of modern man and society. Any sphere of human activity (from labor to entertainment) is in one way or another connected with the media space, whether it is the Internet or television. Therefore, training potential recipients in competent interaction with the media medium is an urgent pedagogical task. Currently, the problem of the recipient differentiating the content offered by the QMS into trustworthy or noteworthy and the so-called «information noise» is especially acute. Only purposefully nurtured media literacy can help in this matter.

Аннотация: В статье медиакомпетентность рассматривается как способ создания толерантной среды. Данная статья показывает значение и роль медиаобразования в системе образования. Автор рассматривает медиаобразование как инструмент становления культуры общения, коммуникативной способности и толерантного сознания. В статье дается попытка детализации отношений медиапространства на становление адекватного видения различных жанров медиатекста, способствующее формированию культуры толерантности личности. В работе рассматривается процесс овладения медиакультурой, что даст возможность выработке навыкам психологической культуры. В работе указано, выработка умения общения с медиаинформацией с целью влияния на формирования прежде, толерантного видения реальности, определяющая совершенный уровень культуры межличностного отношения, способствует развитию медиакомпетентности, что является приоритетным качеством в профессиональной деятельности педагога. Автор указывает на то, что толерантное отношение личности к информациям различных жанров, выступает как качественно своеобразная установка на воспитание толерантного поведения молодежи. Abstract: The article considers media competence as a way to create a tolerant environment. This article shows the importance and role of media education in the modern education system. The article gives an attempt to detail the relationship of the media space to the psychological culture of a person, to the formation of an adeguate vision of various genres of media text, contributing to the formation of a culture of personal tolerantse. <p>Sebuah peristiwa, dalam kehidupan manusia, dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi penulisan sebuah cerita. Pengarang, sebagai bagian dari masyarakatnya, mengangkat relung-relung kehidupan manusia, ke dalam sebuah cerita. Namun harus dipahami, bahwa pengalaman pengarang dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari, juga mempengaruhi subjek yang ditulisnya. Saat ini tidak dapat dipungkiri lagi, bahwa teknologi komunikasi yang sangat canggih, telah mempengaruhi perkembangan karya sastra. Media penulisan karya sastra, tidak lagi melalui media cetak seperti kertas tetapi sudah melalui peralatan modern yang sesuai jamannya. Namun demikian ragam karya sastra prosa, seperti cerita pendek, justru mampu mengisi ruang media kommunikasi tersebut. Dua orang pengarang, yang menulis cerita pendek di media masa, berusaha mengangkat isu tentang lingkungan. Isu yang diangkat, lebih menekankan kepada masalah lingkungan alam dengan mengangkat isu tentang pohon sebagai bagian dari kehidupan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk menelusuri struktur cerita pendek yang mengangkat isu lingkungan dalam jalinan ceritanya. Untuk memenuhi tujuan penelitian, langkah awal dari penelitian ini, adalah melakukan pendekatan struktur cerita, yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan pencarian makna cerita tersebut. Sering sekali di balik sebuah cerita ada pesan yang ingin disampaikan kepada masyarakat pembacanya. Bentuk pesan tersebut tersirat, dalam jalinan struktur cerita pendek tersebut. Pesan yang disampaikan, dalam kedua cerita pendek tersebut,  adalah pesan tentang lingkungan alam, yang  saat ini tidak pernah diperhatikan oleh masyarakat. Dengan alasan, kebutuhan ekonomi yang sangat dominan.</p><p><em>An event, in human life, can be an inspiration for writing a story. The author, as a part of his society, lifts the niches of human life, into a story. But it must be understood, that the author's experience in everyday life, also affects the subject he wrote.</em><em> </em><em>Today it is undeniable, that highly sophisticated communication technology, has influenced the development of literary works. Media writing literature, no longer through print media such as paper but have been through modern equipment that fit his era.</em><em> </em><em>However, the variety of prose literary works, such as short stories, is able to fill the media space communications. Two authors, who write short stories in the mass media, try to raise issues about the environment. Issues raised, more emphasis on the issue of the natural environment by raising the issue, about the tree as part of human life. The purpose of this research, is to trace the structure of short stories, which raised environmental issues in the composition of the story. To fulfill the purpose of research, the first step of this research, is to approach the structure of the story, which is then linked with the search for the meaning of the story. Very often, behind a story, there is a message to be conveyed to the readers. The form of the message is implied, in the composition of the short story structure. The message conveyed, in both short stories, is a message about the natural environment, which today is never noticed by society. Mutu pendidikan dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi mutu pendidikan adalah kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Salah satu indikator sebuah pembelajaran yang berkualitas dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar yang diraih siswa. Motivasi belajar dapat mempengaruhi pencapaian prestasi belajar peserta didik. Pemanfaatan media dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas untuk membuat suasana pembelajaran menjadi menyenangkan serta dapat menumbuhkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik adalah media powerpoint berbasis animasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemanfaatan media pembelajaran powerpoint berbasis animasi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar peserta didik didik pada standar kompetensi membuat dan menjaga kearsipan untuk menjamin integritas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran berjumlah 34 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran powerpoint berbasis animasi dapat meningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada standar kompetensi membuat dan menjaga kearsipan untuk menjamin integritas, 2) Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran powerpoint berbasis animasi dapat meningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada standar kompetensi membuat dan menjaga kearsipan untuk menjamin integritas. Kata kunci : Media Pembelajaran, Powerpoint, Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar   Abstract: The Effectiveness Of Learning Media Powerpoint Based Animation In Increasing Motivation And Learning Achievement. The quality of education is affected by many factors, one of the factors that affect the quality of education is the quality of learning at school. One of the indicators of a quality learning can be seen from the results of the study earned students. Learning motivation may affect the achievement of the learning achievements of students. The utilization of the media in the process of learning in the classroom to create an atmosphere of learning into fun learning motivation can grow as well as learners. One of the media learning which can be utilized in improving learning and achievement motivation of learners is a media-based powerpoint animation. This research aims to find out whether the utilization of media learning powerpoint based animation can increase motivation and learning achievements learning educates learners on standards of competence to make and keep the archives to ensure the integrity. The subject of this research is all learners class X Office Administration amounted to 34 people. The results of this study indicate that 1) utilization of instructional media in powerpoint based animation can improve the learning motivation of learners on the standard of competence to make and keep the archives to ensure the integrity of media Utilization, 2) powerpoint animation based learning can improve the learning results of students on the standard of competence to make and keep the archives to ensure integrity. Key word : learning media, powerpoint, motivation of learnier, the learning achievements

Interactive learning media facilitate students to be understand and comprehend certain contents of engineering subjects. Therefore, this study aimed to develop e-instructional multimedia for students in the subject of basic electronics and electricity using adobe flash CS 5.5. This subject was selected to support the teaching-learning process at the Vocational Secondary Schools. There were five stages during the development of the learning media, including (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation (ADDIE). Furthermore, 30 students in total were selected to test the media practicability. The results revealed that this multimedia is acceptable based on five criteria: creativity, affectivity, efficiency, interestingly, and interactivity with the scores of 76.8, 76.8, 71.5, 77.4, and 74.4 respectively. This study suggested the implementation of the e-instructional multimedia for further understanding its empirical application.

This paper aims to present a profile of students registered in the Professional Training Courses for Nursing Auxiliaries and Complementation Courses for Nursing Technicians of the Nursing Worker Professionalization Project - PROFAE. This quantitative study was carried out in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 2004 to January 2005, through the application of 1,400 questionnaires. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, with simple frequencies and percentages. After tabulation, data were divided in the following categories: sociodemographic data, educational background, family profile, habits, professional activity, salary range, expectations about PROFAE and nursing, difficulties to participate in the project and the teaching-learning process. Students/workers graduated from the PROFAE program tend to improve the quality of hospital and outpatient care, contributing to labor market dynamics in the health sector.

This paper presents the concept of check and balance approach in teachıng, learning and assessment processes with the development of a graphical interface tool to solve an advanced wastewater treatment design problem. The developed graphical interface improves the quality of teaching, learning, and the assessment of both, understanding the calculation approaches, as well as understanding the concepts. The tool acts as a calculator or a simulator of a unit converter, population equivalent, designing sewerage systems and selected unit processes of advanced wastewater treatment. A close-ended survey assessment was conducted with a total of 49 respondents who were the registered students for the subject of advanced wastewater treatment. About 79% of respondents agreed that it was hard to score a high mark in the advanced wastewater treatment exam. However, 100% of respondents agreed that the tool could help them to accelerate their understanding of the subject topic. All things considered, the findings of this study show that the developed tool is a potential tool that can aid in the teaching, learning, and assessment processes of any difficult subject that is taught in higher-learning institutions.

The paper considers the development of broadcasting in the Penza region in the late 1940s and early 1950s, Emphasizes that this period is characterized by active and widespread broadcasting across the country and on the territory of the studied region. Radio infection affected not only regional settlements and working centers of the region, but also remote collective farms. The leader in the development of local radio broadcasting was Kameshkir district, which had its own Studio. It is noted that the radio broadcasting of the Penza region was under strict control of the party and Soviet bodies. For each program, a mandatory verification procedure was introduced, and thematic plans of programs were sent to the places. The quality of local programs directly depended on the level of professional training of editorial staff. The most interesting and operative in content were the programs of the Penza, Kuznetsk and Kamenskaya editions, which actively attracted local party, Komsomol and Soviet workers, leading figures in industry and agriculture, propagandists and agitators to the speeches. Radio broadcasting in the Penza region in the 1940s and early 1950s was actively developed and had a strong propaganda orientation, which was reflected in the subject matter and the quantitative ratio of radio broadcasts.
