Stunting can affect the health of toddlers. The prevalence of stunting in Timor Leste in 2014 is 50.2%, whereas in Aileu District is 52.3%. Stunting can interfere intellectual growth and development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between stunting determinants. The research design was cross sectional. The population of this study was toddlers 24-59 months old, with a sample size of 102 people. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data were analyzed bivariately using simple linear regression, while multivariate analysis was performed using multiple logistic regressions. Bivariate analysis revealed variables that have significant relationship with stunting: immunization (p=0.026), infectious disease (p=0.049), income (p=0.003), total family member (p=0.045). Multivariate analysis obtained two variables as determinant factor of stunting: infectious disease (p=0.025; OR=0.355; 95% CI=0.144-0.877), income (p=0.028; OR=0.332; 95% CI=0.124-0.887). The incidence of stunting in toddlers in Aileu District is very serious (54.9%). Toddlers with stunting demonstrated the adverse effects of stunting on growth, development, and the quality of human resources. Stunting is not only a health sector issue. One indicator of the success of development in the health sector can be seen from the level of maternal and infant mortality rates. One cause of death in infants and toddlers is neurological diseases including eye disease. Around the world among preschoolers there are an estimated 6-7 million cases of xerophthalmia each year, approximately 10% of them suffer from corneal damage. Among those who suffered corneal damage 60% died within one year, 25% became blind and 50-60% were half blind. This is caused due to lack of vitamin A in a child's body. To combat VAD in Indonesia, especially in infants (6-59 months) the Indonesian Ministry of Health has collaborated with Helen Keller Indonesia (IPR) by administering high doses of vitamin A capsules to infants, toddlers and postpartum mothers. This study aims to determine the description of the attitude of mothers who have babies 6-11 months about vitamin A in Pamekaran village (conducted in April-June 2019). The design used is descriptive research. With the data obtained through the collection of questionnaire data from mothers who have babies 6-11 months. Data is presented in the form of frequency distribution with univariate analysis. With a population of 445 people, and a total sample of 82 people with a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that more than half of respondents had negative attitudes namely 61%. Characteristics of mothers who have babies aged 6-11 months are half aged 21-35 years which is as much as 68.3%, more than half are high school educated at 73.2% and more than half are multipara at 70.7%. Thus it can be concluded that more than half of the respondents have negative attitudes, aged 21-35 years, multigravida and high school graduates. Therefore it is expected that health workers will further enhance IEC about vitamin A and also more vigorously sweeping or giving vitamin A door-to-door.

Most maternal deaths occur during the puerperium period so that health workers should be more careful in handling postpartum mothers. There were 8 of the 10 (80%) normal primiparous postpartum mothers in the Aura Syifa Hospital Puerperal Room who did not know about the danger signs during the puerperium. Providing information and health education regarding danger signs during puerperium is one of the efforts in dealing with this. Health education is carried out using the media of leaflets, booklets, flipcharts, and audiovisuals. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in health education about danger signs during puerperium using flip chart and leaflet media on knowledge of postpartum mothers in Aura Syifa  Hospital Kediri. This study used a Pre-Experimental research design with research design using posttest design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The number of samples in this study were 32 respondents who were in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria which were divided into 2 groups. The Data was collected using questionnaires and data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U-Test statistical test with a significance value of 0.05. The results of the study shows ρ value of 0.002 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in health education about danger signs during puerperium using flip chart media and leaflets on knowledge of postpartum mothers. Thus it is known that flip chart media is more effective than leaflet media in health education on the knowledge of postpartum mothers about danger signs during the puerperium.
