Abstract A problem-oriented and interdisciplinary approach was employed at Alpine Shire, in northeast Victoria, Australia, to explore its tourism sector’s contextual vulnerability and adaptability to stressors that include but are not limited to climatic change. Using a policy sciences approach, the objective was to identify factors that influence existing vulnerabilities and that might consequently act as barriers to effective adaptation. To do this, a particular focus was placed on identifying the underlying values embedded in social and decision processes and their role in shaping preferred adaptation outcomes. Analyses of social processes suggest that many threats, including the effects climate change, compete for the resources, strategy, and direction of local tourism management bodies. Many complex and interacting factors define the vulnerability and adaptive capacity of the shire’s tourism sector to the challenges of global change, including local socioeconomic issues as well as exposure to external factors of macroscale. These issues represent more immediate concerns than future climate change scenarios, revealing an approximation of the common interest in working toward adaptation and sustainability.

Introduction. The topic is of relevance due to the need to study tourist flows in terms of the geography of tourist trips in order to analyze and compare the directions of the flows. The problem is that the authorities responsible for tourism management in the region and tourism organizations do not always pay due attention to the geography of the tourist flow and to its optimization in terms of the interests of the region itself. At the same time, the identified trends can be taken into consideration in order to improve and increase the efficiency of the tourism industry in the region and when making managerial decisions in the tourism sector. Based on the results of the study conducted, the article characterizes the travel destinations of Mordovian tourists, reveals trends, and proposes measures to solve the identified problems. Materials and Methods. The materials on the development of tourism in the Republic of Mordovia published by the Territorial Body of the State Statistics Service in the Republic of Mordovia for the period from 2010 to 2019 were analyzed; data from the Digital Tourism service run by MegaFon mobile phone operator were also examined. The methods of mathematical statistics employed made it possible to calculate the changes in the relative and absolute indicators of the geography of the tourist flow in the republic over a ten-year period. To identify the geography of the regional tourist flow, the methods of analysis and generalization were used, which made it possible to identify the features of the internal and external tourist flows of people living in Mordovia. Results. An analysis of the dynamics and placement of inbound and outbound tourism has been carried out; the volume of the tourist flow has been considered; the features of the geography of the tourist flows have been considered; the problems that hinder the more effective development of tourism in the republic have been revealed. The measures aimed at improving the efficiency of tourism activities in the region have been proposed. Discussion and Conclusion. The study made it possible to identify the main trends in the geography of the tourist flows of residents of Mordovia, as well as the causes and features of the ongoing transformations. The results of the study can contribute to the elaboration of an effective program for the development of tourism in the republic, to the adoption of productive managerial decisions in the field of tourism in the region, and to optimization of the geography of the tourist flows.

Introduction/Main Objectives: This research examines the antecedents and implications of innovation capability, empirically. The outcomes aim at contributing to the knowledge and understanding about the main driver of innovation capability.  Background Problems: Yogyakarta is known for its many and varied charms, its tourist attractions, the availability of facilities and infrastructure to support tourism, such as souvenir sellers. But there is known that number of total foreign and domestic tourists has been a decrease in 2018 (Semester I by 11.51% and II by 3.33%), also in 2019 (Semester I by 11.23%). This is a challenge for MSMEs in the tourism sector and MSMEs in other sectors that support tourism, such a souvenir seller. Bakpia is one of the well-known products of the food and beverage sector in Yogyakarta often bought for souvenirs. The Bakpia MSMEs’ innovations were triggered by competition among the Bakpia producers in Yogyakarta. Therefore, every Bakpia MSME must be competitive to survive in the market. Thus, there is a need to improve their innovation capability, which will impact the innovation performance of the Bakpia MSMEs in Yogyakarta. There is a gap in the research regarding the influence of the factors that are predicted to build innovation capability. Novelty: Previous studies’ results indicate that the influence of knowledge donating and knowledge collecting about innovation performance is not yet conclusive. Therefore, this study aims to fill the gap in the previous research by examining the role of capability as a mediating between knowledge sharing process (knowledge donating and knowledge collecting) to innovation performance. Research Methods: Forty-eight items of data were obtained from Bakpia MSMEs in Yogyakarta through a survey conducted by distributing questionnaires directly to them. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS version 3.3.2. Findings/Results: This study shows that the direct and indirect effects of sharing knowledge (which includes donating and collecting knowledge) about innovation performance are found to be positive but not significant. The results also indicate that innovation capability does not significantly mediate knowledge donating and knowledge collecting about innovation performance. Meanwhile, the influence of innovation capability on innovation performance was found to be positive and significant. Conclusion: The antecedents are insignificant for innovation capability, but the antecedent’s constructs still act as a driver to build innovation capability.

Business, but act on behalf of such persons. Fraud can be directly or indirectly attributed to persons whose activities are asso-ciated with the activities required to obtain travel services (representatives of insurance companies, con-sulates, airlines, etc.).
