Textbook is one of the written works in the form of a book, intended to discuss a certain field which becomes a standard book for teachers and students in the learning process for instructional purposes and objectives, which is equipped with suitable teaching facilities and is easily understood by the users in schools. schools so that they can support teaching programs. The quality of books must be a concern for all parties because books are the main learning tool. This can be started from the use of language contained in the book. This study aims to find out the language errors contained in the class VI student book "Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti " in Aceh Besar. This library research involves various sources. Student books as the main source and other literature books as a supporter of the theory. The research findings obtained are in the form of errors: Use of capital letters, writing of affixes, writing of particle 'pun', use of punctuation, writing of absorption elements, and saltic. The conclusion shows that this book is good in using Indonesian because it contains a few language errors. The use of good and correct language dominates the contents of the book so that the book can be categorized as worthy of being a textbook. Abstrak   Buku Ajar adalah salah satu karya tulis yang berbentuk buku, diperuntukkan membahas suatu bidang tertentu yang menjadi buku standar bagi guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran untuk maksud dan tujuan instruksional, yang dilengkapi dengan sarana-sarana pengajaran yang serasi dan mudah dipahami oleh pemakainya di sekolah-sekolah sehingga dapat menunjang program pengajaran. Kualitas buku harus menjadi perhatian semua pihak karena buku adalah sarana pembelajaran yang utama. Hal ini dapat diawali dari penggunaan bahasa yang terdapat dalam buku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan berbahasa yang terdapat pada buku siswa “Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti” kelas VI di Aceh Besar. Penelitian kepustakaan ini melibatkan berbagai sumber. Buku siswa sebagai sumber utama dan buku kepustakaan lain sebagai pendukung teori. Temuan penelitian yang diperoleh berupa kesalahan: Pemakaian huruf kapital, penulisan kata berimbuhan, penulisan partikel ‘pun’, pemakaian tanda baca, penulisan unsur serapan, dan saltik. Simpulan menunjukkan bahwa buku ini sudah baik dalam penggunaan bahasa Indonesia karena mengandung sedikit kesalahan berbahasa. Penggunaan bahasa yang baik dan benar mendominasi isi buku sehingga buku dapat dikategorikan layak sebagai buku ajar. Kata Kunci:  Kesalahan, Buku, Ejaan

Abstrak Penelitian pengembangan lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik, menggunakan konsep mind mapping yang maksimal, mampu menciptakan proses belajar yang aktif, dan menyenangkan pada pembelajran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA Al Azhar kelas XII. Pengembangan LKPD pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berkonsep mind mapping digunakan sebagai media bahan ajar untuk membantu peserta didik atau mempermudah peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Dengan begitu, peserta didik cenderung tidak kesulitan ketika pembelajaran tanpa adanya acuan media bahan ajar (LKPD). Pengembangan LKPD dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konsep mind mapping yaitu suatu peta konsep pikiran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mudah mengingat banyak informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan Dick and Carey. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKPD dengan konsep mind mapping pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia layak digunakan sebagai media ajar guna meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menyatakan LKPD layak digunakan dengan persentase sebesar 76,36%, sedangkan dari ahli desain media pembelajaran diperoleh tingkat pencapaian kelayakan sebesar 84,44%. Uji kelayakan teman sejawat mencapai 83,63% dan uji coba pada peserta didik kelas XII SMA Al Azhar diperoleh tingkat pencapaian kelayakan sebesar 93,9%. Kata kunci: lembar kegiatan peserta didik, konsep mind mapping, bahasa Indonesia   Abstract The research on the development of student activity sheets (LKPD) aims to improve the quality of learning of students, use the maximum mind mapping concept, is able to create an active and enjoyable learning process in learning Indonesian in Al Azhar High School class XII. The development of LKPD on Indonesian language subjects with mind mapping concept is used as a medium of teaching materials to help students or facilitate students in learning. That way, students tend to have no difficulties when learning without reference to the instructional material media (LKPD). The development of LKPD in this study uses the concept of mind mapping, which is a mind concept map that is used in the learning process easily remembering a lot of information. This research is a research and development that refers to the Dick and Carey research and development model. Data was analyzed by using quantitative description. The results of this study revealed that Indonesian Language LKPD Lessons Conceptual Mind Mapping is worthy of being used as a teaching media to improve the learning quality of students. The results of the validation from the material expert stated that the LKPD was feasible to use with a percentage of 76.36%, while the expert of learning media design obtained an attainment level of 84.44%. Peers' feasibility test reached 83.63% and trials on class XII students of Al Azhar High School obtained an achievement level of 93.9%. Abstrak: Perkembangan dunia teknologi dan informasi yang semakin pesat dapat memberikan alternatif bagi pendidik untuk menggunakan berbagai media pembelajaran salah satunya yaitu Physics Education and Technology (PhET). Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan tentang 1). Efektivitas penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, 2) Strategi penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, serta 3) Kelebihan dan kekurangan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan filosofi post positivisme dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tri-anggulasi (gabungan), yaitu penelitian kepustakaan melalui pengumpulan data, terutama data verbal seperti buku, artikel, catatan, dan berbagai literatur ilmiah lainnya. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara induktif. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan pustaka, analisis data, dan diskusi dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1). Media simulasi PhET secara efektif digunakan untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari konsep fisika, 2) media simulasi PhET sangat baik dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri, dan 3) media simulasi PhET memiliki keuntungan yaitu efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep fisika yang sifatnya abstrak, sedangkan kekurangannya adalah bahwa implementasi di sekolah sangat tergantung pada unit komputer yang tersedia.Kata kunci: Simulasi Interaktif PhET, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Pembelajaran FisikaAbstract: The rapid development of technology and information world can provide an alternative for educators to use various learning media, one of which is Physics Education and Technology (PhET). The purpose of this review is to explain 1). The effectiveness of the application of PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, 2) The strategy of applying the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, and 3) The anvantages and disanvantages of the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process. The writing of this article uses a qualitative method based on a post positivisme philosophy with data collection techniques in the form of tri-anggulation (combined), namely library research through data collection, especially verbal data such as books, articles, notes, and various other scientific literature. The data collected is then analyzed inductively. Based on the results of literature review, data analysis, and discussion it can be concluded that 1). PhET simulation media are effectively used to help teachers and students in learning physics concepts, 2) PhET simulation media are very well combined with inquiry learning models, and 3) PhET simulation media has the advantages of being effective in explaining abstract physical concepts, while the disadvantages is that the implementation in schools is very dependent on the computer units available.Keywords: PhET Interactive Simulations, Guided Inquiry, Physics Learning

Parents’ low participation in improving the quality of education is an interesting topic of study. This research aims to obtain data on parents’ participation in improving the quality of infrastructure and learning process in elementary schools. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data were the principal, teachers, and parents. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research findings, it can be discussed that parents already participated in improving educational infrastructure but not maximized. They donate funds and energy for school construction. While, in learning process, parents contribute to guide, to motivate, to supervise the children, and to facilitate all their needs in learning. Problems faced by parents in improving the quality of learning are lack of time in supervising the children to learn due to busy work and also the low level of parents’ education and income (education and economic factors).

The purpose of this chapter is, as a self-regulated learning tool, to focus on digital storytelling by uncovering relationship between digital storytelling and self-regulated learning process/based on research findings made in the its field. Within this focus, firstly, concept of digital storytelling was theoretically addressed; researches made in learning-teaching for use have been presented; later, self-regulated learning processes and strategies have been defined and given examples. Finally, research findings on the use of digital stories as self-regulated learning tools have been shared.

The Impact

One of the improvements in the quality of education is the fulfillment of the needs for facilities and adequate, quality, and ready-to-use educational infrastructure. So as for the impact of the lack of proper infrastructure of school institutions, namely that it can reduce student achievement in learning activities, especially in class. Therefore, to improve the quality of education in schools, management of facilities and infrastructure is needed to meet the needs of the student learning process at school. This study aims to determine the implementation of total quality management in improving the quality of infrastructure in schools. This research using library research with analytical study methods (library research), namely research carried out using a library alias literature, either in the form of notes, books, journals, or reports of previous research results. The analytical study used is content analytical and analytical descriptions of total quality management to improve infrastructure at school. The results of this study indicate that the facilities and infrastructure at the school are inadequate standards. Therefore, the use of infrastructure in the learning process must also be improved, as an increase in service quality continuously meets the reality and expectations for customers.

English has won the status of International language. The quality of our expression depends on our use of speaking skills. The importance and value of speaking English have been accepted worldwide. In Pakistan, Teaching English was mainly focused upon reading and writing skills. But in today’s world, listening and speaking skills have become much more important than in the past. Recently, the value of role-play in the classroom situation has become mandatory to make the teaching-learning process easy, attractive, and interesting. The implementation of role-play was expected to be an effective way to improve the learners’ speaking skills. So in the present study, the focus is on this matter whether the use of role play can be beneficial in bringing a positive change in the teaching-learning process of speaking skills for elementary level learners. The collective problems of the teachers and students during speaking English were the main focus of the study. 360 students and twenty teachers of Bahawalpur region participated in this study. Pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire were used as a tool to collect the data from the respondents. The findings of the study showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test results. It was suggested that speech practice with the help of role play should be encouraged at the elementary level.

Most of the students of the PG PAUD PGRI JEMBER Study Program, still do not have the ability to make greeting sentences, congratulations, thanks, and apologies. This study aims to explain the process of increasing the ability to use Indonesian in making sentences greeting and increasing the ability to use Indonesian in making sentences. This study was designed as an action research with two cycles. Data analysis used descriptive analysis with both qualitative and quantitative approaches (percentages). The research findings show that the learning process by using small group discussion methods and image media has run quite effectively. Likewise, the ability of students to make sentences also increases, both individually and classically. The conclusion of the research shows that the method of small group discussion and image media can be applied by students to be able to improve students' abilities in making greeting sentences, congratulations, thanks, and apologies

The Mathematic Teaching and learning based informatic system is learning system implementing computerization technology as a learning tool in theteaching and learning process. This teaching and learning process in which it combines conventional method with the application practice has been constructed on the basis of the implemented curriculum in a college. The use of media in a teaching and learning process like computer as a learning tool will make the teaching and learning process more effective because it will create an interesting teching and learning process as well as stimulate the students’ creativity. In addition, the teaching and learning process not only as a tutorial qctivity but also it provides the implentation of the theories given. The Mathematic teaching and learning based informatic is done to know the comparison of problem solving in mathematic using Mathematic software application. The standardized process and the use of informatic are constructed based on the exsisting curriculum in order to control the quality of the learning proses and result.

Efforts are being made in many educational settings to find out the most effective ways of assuring quality of the teaching and learning process. In the framework of continuous reformation of the education system in Albania, many initiatives have been taken aiming at improving the quality of the teaching and learning process WHERE?? IN THE AREA OF???? . Several ambitious projects have been piloted. One of them is related to setting the teaching and learning process in a pragmatic global context. This project was piloted in some areas of Albania. It aimed at applying some new principles of teaching and learning by simultaneously setting teaching and learning in four dimensions: that of time (present, past, future), space, problems (environment, human rights, etc.) and internal. Teaching was based on the use of interactive, all inclusive techniques and strategies. As a result, the interactive profile of the teacher is strengthened and the quality of students’ learning has improved as well. This project is supported by the Institute of Global Education in Canada This article brings a picture of the impacts of this initiative, which are related with the best student outcomes, change of values and attitudes about life, new approaches for the world and the active participation in important social roles. This pilot work has led to a new objective, namely the one of establishment of a new teacher profile in the global area and of the new roles it should take in the course of both teaching and learning. Data and thoughts of teachers and students related to such findings are described in the current article. Key words: dimensions, Global Education, new pilot, principles, quality.

This study examines the effectiveness of using the iqra' method to improve the ability to read the Qur'an to convert students at Assalam Islamic Solidarity School in Jantho City. Based on the facts in the field, the convert students who are already young have not been able to read the Qur'an well. This institution seeks to improve the quality of convert students in the Qur'an reading, which aims to be one of the motivations for other students to study the Qur'an well. This research has two objectives, namely: How is the ability to read the Qur’an, and the use of the iqra' method to convert students at Assalam Islamic Solidarity School in Jantho City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Respondents in this study were teachers and students. Data collection techniques in this study are using observation and interviews. From the results of the study found by researchers that the use of iqra' method has been effective against the ability to read for convert students, although there are difficulties in the learning process, caused by lughat (pronunciation) their tongues are still stiff. From this study it can be concluded that every educational institution that is specifically in charge of the education of the Qur'an must be able to improve its quality in carrying out the Qur'anic learning process especially in terms of reading the letters, so that every student, especially converts, can learn the Qur'an 's well and correctly so that they can instill Islamic laws based on the Qur'an and as-Sunnah.
