ABSTRAK Salah satu bahan alam yang diduga dapat menurunkan kadar asam urat adalah tumbuhan galing yang mengandung flavanoid. Kemampuan senyawa tersebut dalam menurunkan asam urat yaitu dengan cara menghambat aktivitas xantin oksidase pada basa purin sehingga akan menurunkan produksi asam urat. Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah  untuk  mengetahui aktivitas hiperurisemia dari ekstrak daun galing pada mencit BALB/C. Pada uji aktivitas antihiperurisemia yang dilakukan pada mencit, diinduksi pottasium oxonat pada dengan dosis 200 mg/kgBB, pada dosis ekstrak daun galing 300 mg/kg BB, 400 mg/kg BB, 500 mg/kg BB, kontrol positif allopurinol dan kontrol negatif Na-CMC 0.5% . Hasil uji farmakologi diolah secara statistik menggunakan uji normalitas dan one way ANOVA dan uji LSD (Least Significance Different) dengan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada ekstrak ekstrak daun galing 300 mg/kg BB, 400 mg/kg BB dan 500 mg/kg BB mampu menurunkan kadar asam urat. Secara statistik terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan pada ekstrak daun galing dosis 300 mg/kg BB dan dosis 400 mg/kg BB terhadap penurunan kadar asam urat dengan nilai P 0,02<0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan efek antihiperurisemia antara kelompok perlakuan.  Kata kunci: Antihiperurisemia, ekstrak etanol daun galing, , flavanoid, mencit   ABSTRACT One of the natural ingredients that is thought to reduce uric acid levels is a thorny plant which contains flavonoids. The ability of these compounds in reducing uric acid is by inhibiting the activity of xanthine oxidase in the purine base so that it will reduce uric acid production. The purpose of this study was to determine the hyperuricemia activity of the galing leaf extract in BALB / C mice. In the antihyperuricemia activity test conducted on mice, pottasium oxonate was induced at a dose of 200 mg / kgBW, at a dose of galing leaf extract 300 mg / kgBW, 400 mg / kgBW, 500 mg / kgBW, positive control of allopurinol and negative control of Na -CMC 0.5%. Pharmacological test results were statistically processed using the normality test and one way ANOVA and LSD (Least Significance Different) test with the SPSS 20 program. The results showed that the extract of the galing leaf extract 300 mg / kg BW, 400 mg / kg BW and 500 mg / kg BW could reduce uric acid levels. Statistically, there was a significant effect on galing leaf extract at a dose of 300 mg / kg BW and a dose of 400 mg / kg BW on decreasing uric acid levels with a P value of 0.02 <0.05, meaning that there were differences in antihyperuricemia effects between treatment groups.  Keywords: Antihyperuricemia, ethanol extract galing leaf,  flavanoid, mice

The aim of this research is to know the ability of meniran ethanol extract (Phyllanthus niruri L.) in inhibiting the growth of Candida albicans. The research design is an experimental study. The extract used was herbal meniran extract made by maceration using 70% ethanol solvent, the content of ethanol extract of meniran tested against Candida albicans using disc diffusion method were 5%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40%. Activity test conducted on Sabaraound Dextrose agar media that has been smeared with Candida albicans culture which has been standardized with Mc Farland standard. The pre-tested disc paper is first dipped into the extract with various concentrations. Incubated at 30 ° C for 24 hours and the inhibit zone formed was measured. The result showed that herbal ethanol extract of meniran resulted in drag zone diameter at Candida albicans ie 8,5 mm; 10.3 mm; 12.6 mm; 14.1 mm and 14.3 mm, for negative control 0 mm and positive control 20.1 mm. Data obtained from the results of the study were analyzed using one way anova method showed p - value <0,05, it was concluded that there was significant difference between negative control, 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and positive control.

Tooth extraction is a process of removing teeth from the alveolar bone. In wound healing, fibroblast are very important cells. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mobe leaf 1% and 3% extract gel (Artocarpus lakoocha) on fibroblast proliferation in post extraction tooth socket wound healing. This research used 16 samples of wistar rats, divided into 4 groups, a positive control group, a negative control group and a 1% and 3% mobe leaf extract gel group. The left mandibular incisors were extracted, then 1% and 3% gels of mobe leaf extract were applied on day 1 to day 7. Data analysis was calculated using the Kruskal-Wallis test on clinical data and one way ANOVA test for microscopic. The result of the socket wound healing activity test for a good concentration of mobe leaf extract gel was 3%. This research shows significant resultith p-value of 0.018 (< 0.05) on the closure of the socket wound clinically which means the closure of the wound accelerates because of the mobe leaf 3% extract gel treatment. The distance of fibroblast on microscopically shows significant resultith a p-value of 0.002 (< 0.05), which means that there was an enlargement of the distance fibroblast at the socket wound closure with application of mobe leaf 3% extract gel. From the results of the study it can be concluded that mobe leaf 3% extract gel has the best ability to show acceleration the closure of the socket wound either clinically or microscopically.

African Leaf and palm leaf crops have a secondary metabolite content such as alkaloids and flavonoids that are efficacious as diuretics. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of diuretics from the combination  African leaf ethanol extract and palm leaf ethanol extract. Methods used Eksperiemental. The test of diuretic activity is conducted divided into 6 treatment groups. Each group consists of 3 tails of white rats. Group 1 (positive control) administered Furosemide 3.6 mg/kgBB, Group 2 (negative control) was given suspension Na-CMC 0.5%, group 3 without treatment as well as groups of 4.5, and 6 in a row administered a combination of African leaf extract doses and extracts Oil palm leaf ethanol in a row of "50 mg/kgBB + 67, 5mg/kgBB"; "100mg/kgBB + 135 mg/kgBB"; and "200 mg/kgBB + 270 mg/kgBB". Each mouse is then given a 20ml NaCl/kgBB as an oral loading dose. Measured urine volume is recorded every hour for 6 hours after it continues to measure urine volume. The results showed that the combination of African leaf ethanol extract dosage and palm leaf ethanol extract had a diuretic effect if it was compared with negative control. The conclusion of the study was the results of the study showed that the combination of African leaf extract dosage and palm leaf extract is the most effective dose of Group 6 (African leaf extract 200 mg/kgBB + palm leaves 270 mg/kgBB ). Because it produces the highest urine volume of 23.01 ml.

ABSTRACT Kumis Kucing Leaves (Orthosiphon aristatus (Blume) Miq.) contains flavonoid compounds that has antioxidants activity that inhibits the action of the enzyme xanthine oxidase with reduced uric acid as result. This research is done to find out the effects antihyperuricemia ethanol extract of Kumis Kucing leaves on male white rat (Rattus norvegicus). 15 rats were used in this research and there were 5 treatment groups that is negative control (NACMC 1%), positive control (Allopurinol) 1,8 mg, and Kumis Kucing leaves extract group with dosage of 4,5 mg, 9 mg, 18 mg. The result of this research showed a decrease on uric acid value after ethanol extract of Kumis Kucing leave were given. The next result of this research used ANOVA test and LSD test, that showed the ethanol extract of Kumis Kucing leave had Antihyperuricemia activity on male white rat.Keywords:  Orthosiphon aristatus (Blume.) Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efek antihiperurisemia ekstrak etanol daun kumis kucing, terhadap tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus). Penelitian ini menggunakan 15 ekor tikus dan terdapat 5 kelompok perlakuan yaitu kontrol negatif (NaCMC 1%), kontrol positif (Allopurinol) 1,8 mg, dan kelompok ekstrak daun kumis kucing dengan dosis 4,5 mg, 9 mg, 18 mg. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai asam urat mengalami penurunan setelah diberikan ekstrak etanol daun kumis kucing. Hyperuricemia is a disease caused by an increase in uric acid levels in the blood. Currently, various treatments are developed by utilizing natural ingredients as an anti-hyperuricemia. Sungkai (Peronema canescens Jack) is one of the plants that contain a natural compound that can use as an anti-hyperuricemia treatment is the leaves of sungkai (Peronema canescens Jack.). The aim of this study to determine the anti-hyperuricemia activity of the ethanol extract of Sungkai leaves. The test animals used in this study were male white mice Wistar strain. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 groups consisting of negative control (Na CMC 0.5%) positive control (allopurinol 10 mg / kg BW), treatment 1 (extract 125 mg / kg BW), treatment 2 (extract 250 mg / kg BW) and treatment 3 (extract 500 mg / kg BW). The parameters seen were uric acid levels measured using the POCT (Point of Care Test) method and analyzed using One Way Anova statistical analysis and Duncan's continued test. Our results showed that the treatment group with a dose of 125-500 mg / Kg BW reduce uric acid levels in mice. The best dose was a dose of 500 mg / Kg BW in reducing uric acid levels in mice with percent decline of 38.66%.

Soursop (Annona muricata L.) and gotu kola (Centella asiatica L.Urb) is a plant that can be used as a laxative medicine kidney stones. This is because of the content of bioactive compounds including flavonoids, especially the leaf section. The use of a combination of soursop leaf extract and gotu kola can improve their effectiveness in order to remove calcium kidney stones. Therefore, this study aims to determine the activity and to determine dose combination soursop leaf ethanol extract (SS) and gotu kola leaf (GK) which is effective for dissolving potassium kidney stones. Extracts prepared by maceration method using ethanol 96% then subsequently tested phytochemical screening and thin layer chromatography profiles on each extract. Results chromatogram showed the extract containing flavonoids. Testing the activity of the combination of soursop and gotu kola extract performed using seven treatments, combination 1 (SS 1% + GK 7.5% ), a combination of 2 (SS  0.5% + GK 3.75%), the combination of 3 (SS 0, 25% + GK 1.875%), single soursop leaf extract (1%), single gotu kola extract (7.5%), negative control (aquadest) and positive control (Batugin elixir). Kidney stones are then put as much as 100 mg in each treatment and incubated for 6 hours (37 ℃). Results filtrate then didestruksi and dissolved calcium levels measured using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The results showed the combination soursop leaf ethanol extract and gotu kola leaf extract with a combination of 2 (SS 0.5% + GK 3.75%) is an effective combination of the ability to dissolve calcium kidney stones in vitro.

ABSTRACTStarfruit leaves (Averrhoa Bilimbi L) is a plant that contains tannins and flavonoids. In accordance with previous research it was stated that tannins and flavonoids have antiperetic activity. This study aims to determine whether the ethanol extract of starfruit leaves has an antiperetic effect in wistar male rats (Rattus Norvegicus L) induced by the DPT vaccine. This study used 15 test animals and devided into 5 grops consisting of negative control (cmc 1%), positive control (paracetamol) and the test dose group namely the administration of starfruit leaves extract 3,6 mg/200 grams BW, 7,2 mg/200 grams BW and 14,4 mg/200 grams BW. Each mouse was induced with DPT vaccine doses of 0,2 ml intramuscularly. Temperature measurements were made taken before induction, 2 hours after induction and every 30 minutes for 3 hours. The results showed a decrease in temperature in the 60th minute of starfruit leaves 3,6 mg/200 grams BW, 7,2 mg/200 grams BW and 14,4 mg/200 grams BW. The data obtained were analyzed using one-way ANOVA test and LSD test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of starfruit leaves 3,6 m, 7,2 mg and 14,4 mg has antiperetic activity in male white rats. Keywords : Averrhoa bilimbi L,Antiperetic,Rattus novergicus L,Vaksin DPTABSTRAK Daun belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.)  adalah salah satu tanaman yang mengandung zat tanin dan flavonoid. Berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan bahwa tanin dan flavonoid mempunyai aktivitas antipiretik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ekstrak etanol daun belimbing wuluh memiliki efek sebagai antipiretik pada tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus L.) yang di induksikan vaksin DPT. Penelitian ini menggunakan hewan uji sebanyak 15 ekor dan dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok yang terdiri dari kontrol negatif (CMC 1%),  kontrol positif (parasetamol) dan kelompok dosis uji yaitu pemberian ekstrak daun Belimbing wuluh 3,6 mg/200 gram BB, 7,2 mg/200 gram BB, dan 14,4 mg/200 gram  BB. Tiap  tikus diinduksi dengan vaksin DPT sebanyak 0,2 ml secara intramuskular. Pengukuran suhu dilakukan sebelum induksi, 2 jam setelah pemberian induksi dan setiap 30 menit selama 3 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi penuruan suhu pada menit yang ke 60 ekstrak etanol daun belimbing wuluh 3,6 mg/200 gram BB, 7,2 mg/200 gram BB, dan 14,4 mg/200 gram BB.  Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ANOVA satu arah dan uji LSD dapat menurunkan suhu rektal tikus. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa menggunakan ANOVA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun belimbing wuluh 3,6 mg, 7,2 mg, dan 14,4 mg mempunyai aktivitas antipiretik pada tikus putih jantan.  Kata Kunci :  Averrhoa bilimbi L., Antipiretik, Rattus norvegicus L,  Vaksin DPT

<p style="text-align: justify;">Abstract: The objective of this research is to analyze the effects of ethanol extract of black cumin seeds (Nigella Sativa) to the expression of ET-1 Aorta given to the preeclampsia model mouse. The research design utilizes experimental and the kind of design used is posttest only control group design. Mice preeclampsia model. This research is divided into 6 groups, namely: Negative control, Positive control, Model + extract of black cumin seeds 500 mg/KgBB/day, 1000 mg/KgBB/day, 1500 mg/KgBB/day, and 2000 mg/KgBB/day. After conducting the surgery to the mouse, an examination is done to the expression of ET-1 Aorta by using Immunohistochemistry method. one way anova Were used as statistical analysis. There was an effect of treatment of giving the ethanol extract black cumin seeds of ET-1 Aorta to the preeclampsia model mouse (p<0,05).these doses of 500 mg, 1000mg, 1500mg, and 2000mg, ethanol extract of black cumin seeds has ability to decrease the ET-1 Aorta in preeclampsia model mouse. dose of 1500mg/KgBB/day is the most optimum dosage to reduce when compared to another dosages. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok yaitu Kontrol negatif, kontrol positif(Model), Model+ekstrak biji jinten hitam 500 mg/KgBB/hari, 1000 mg/KgBB/hari, 1500 mg/KgBB/hari, dan 2000 mg/KgBB/hari, setelah dilakukan pembedahan pada mencit kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan ekspresi ET-1 Aorta dengan metode Immunohistokimia. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan uji one way anova. Ada pengaruh pemberian ekstrak etanol biji jinten hitam terhadap ekspresi ET-1 Aorta pada mencit model preeklampsia (p<0,05). Dosis 500mg, 1000mg, 1500mg, dan 2000mg jinten hitam mempunyai kemampuan terhadap penurunan ekspresi ET-1 Aorta Dosis yang paling optimum menurunkan adalah dosis 2000mg/KgBB/hari dibanding dosis yang lain. Ekstrak etanol biji jinten hitam (Nigella Sativa) dapat menurunkan ekspresi ET-1 Aorta pada mencit model preeklampsia terutama pada dosis 2000mg/KgBB/hari. The objective of this study was to evaluate the antipyretic effect of key lime (Citrus aurantifolia L.) leaf extract on white rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced fever by using DPT vaccine. Thirty male white rats with the body weight of ±200 grams and the age of 2-3 months old were used in this study. Those rats were grouped equally into five groups, consisted of a negative control group (2 mL aquabidest), a positive control group (acetaminophen 6.3 mg/100 g of body weight), the first dose of key lime leaf extract (1.26 mg/100 g of body weight), the second dose (2.52 mg/100 g of body weight) and the third dose (5.04 mg/100 g of body weight). The measurement of rat temperature was conducted before and 2 hours after getting DPT vaccine, and every 30 minutes posttreatment until 120 minutes. Data at the 120th minute were analyzed by using One-Way Anova test. The results of One-Way Anova test showed that there were significant differences (p<0.05) among treatment groups. The results of post-hoc test analysis showed that the significant differences (p<0.05) were found between a negative control group and four other groups. There was no significant difference (p>0.05) between a positive control group and three groups of key lime leaf extract. It concluded that the key lime leaf extract has an antipyretic effect on white male rats.

The discovery of new antibiotic drugs is getting more and more reactive. The plant of the peria laut leaf is one of the drugs that is often used as a traditional medicine and contains bioactive compounds of polyphenols, flavonoids, and saponins, which can inhibit antibacterial growth. Purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of ethanol extract of peria laut leaves (Colubrina asiatica L.) against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. Method the experimental, of the sample used was concentrated marine peria laut leaf extract of 25mg/ml, 50mg/ml, 75mg/ml, 100mg/ml, 200mg/ml, 300mg/ml, 400mg/ml, and 500mg/ml, positive control of amoxicillin tablet 500 mg, negative control of dimethylsulfoxide with the method of disc diffusion testing using media Nutrient Agar. Results the showed thet the peria laut leaf extract positively contained bioactive alkaloid compounds, flavonoids, saponins, steroids, and tannins, and had inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus and Escgerichia coli bacteria with various concentrations which had been tested on the average area of the highest inhibition zone of 18,6 mm in Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, and 10,2 mm in Escherichia coli bacteria. Conclusion peria laut leaf extract (Colubrina asiatica L.) has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria in the most inhibitory zone at a concentration of 500mg/ml with a diameter of 18,6 in Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and 10,2 in Escherichia coli.
