Parents, especially mothers are responsible for instilling the value of religious and social life in children, including adolescents through proper parenting. However, many parents choose to entrust the child completely to the school because it is busy with their work. This study aims to explain the parenting of working parents in instilling religious attitudes and respectful attitudes in adolescents, explain the factors that influence parenting, and explain the obstacles and solutions parents work in foster care. This study is a qualitative descriptive field study involving ten working parents. This research data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study found that the parenting used by sources is democratic parenting. Trust factors, comparison of parenting models, child gender, parental behavior, and character of children are factors that influence parenting in instilling religious attitudes and respectful attitudes in adolescents. In addition, there are obstacles in applying parenting, such as limited time together between parents and children because parents are busy working, child characters, mobile phones, child association, and social media. The solution in overcoming these obstacles is to be a good role model, make the best use of time to get to know the child's friendship environment, not only be a parent but can be a good friend and listener, and have to check the child’s phone.

In this journal contains a description of the explanation of the relationship (relationship) between someone who plays himself as a teacher spiritual guide (Murshid) with other people who act as followers (Disciples). The second role is certainly not a role in the theater or soap opera shows that we watch on television, but it is a concrete manifestation on the real stage of life. In the tradition sosial urf social-attraction there are life phenomena that are very unique and interesting to study and examine in depth. Because in this phenomenon there is a mirror of human life, which between one another has a very strong relationship and attachment between them. This relationship can be intensively interwoven both physically and mentally which is implemented directly in religious spiritual life and social life. From each of them there were those who became role models who were very adhered to and respected, namely a murshid teacher. While others become followers who are very obedient and loyal, namely a student. The closeness of the relationship between murshid and students is part of an inseparable relationship. Both are bound and related to each other. Each of them takes care and maintains each other. This kind of life portrait is a picture of past life in the time of the Prophet and his companions. Where the Prophet's figure was his capacity as a figure who became uswah (role model) for his companions whose capacity was a loyal follower of the Prophet. This paper aims to reveal the pact around the scope of life in the circle of social-spiritual life played by God's chosen servants.

This chapter takes a look at how working parents can affect their children, and how. Evidence from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) shows that, other things held constant (including income), mother's work has no marked effect, good or bad, on the emotional health of her children. However, the chapter goes further by exploring the behavioral effects on the child if they have a minder or some form of nursery care. The child's intellectual development is also explored. In addition to these, the chapter takes a look at the effects of unemployed parents on their children. ALSPAC provides clear unemployment data only on the fathers of the children and shows that this can have a critical effect on children's development. There are many channels through which this can work—via the parents' mood, family conflict, reduced aspirations, taunting at school, and simple loss of income.

Although most pediatricians agree on the importance of teaching parents and children about health care, they may not succeed in patient education because of a lack of the requisite communication skills, inadequate printed materials to augment personal involvement, a tendency to substitute such materials for personal involvement, and inadequate compensation. Physician recognition of an obligation to teach is a requisite for effective education. Adjustment of current practices is essential: use of educational materials must be systematically incorporated, educational efforts must make effective use of time and be cost-effective. Information should be readily understood, parents given an opportunity to ask questions, and effectiveness of the education evaluated. Pediatricians must have a constant source of supplementary material to use in patient education. Videotapes and interactive computer programs should be considered for more effective communication. Residency programs must teach future pediatricians how to educate parents and children.

Pia Haudrup Christensen: Children’s perception of time spent with the family This paper examines time spent with the family from children’s point of view. Since the 1960s notions of “quality time“ versus “quantity time“ have been employed to capture the everyday reality of working parents and their children. Some researchers have argued that parents should spend “more time“ together with their children and less time working, while others have suggested that it is important to examine how parents and children spend their time together. These discussions of what is “good“ for today’s children tend to neglect children’s perspectives. This paper draws on extensive ethnographic studies among 10-11 year old children about their understandings and use of time in an urban and a rural area of the North of England and in a district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The paper argues that the quality/quantity conundrum needs to be replaced by fuller and more representative accounts that include dimensions of family time that matter for children. The paper examines the six qualities of time that children value: “ordinary everyday family routines“, the notion of “hygge“ or coziness in Danish, “someone being there for you“, to “have one’s own time“, time for “peace and quiet“, and to be able “to plan own time“. It argues that children’s view of time spent with their families cannot be seen in isolation from the time they spend with friends, time at school and on their own. It concludes that children’s time needs to be situated in the everyday processes of balancing family, school and work life which both children and parents engage in.

The number of cases of violence and sexual abuse against children has recently made various parties, no exception for parents, that must be alert to the threat. The big point of that is in 2015 when Indonesian Child Protection Commission said that cases of violence and abuse against children is a latent danger for the children of Indonesia. Several attempts have been made, some like starting to give a sex education early for parents and children, limiting the viewing access to pornography, limiting the contents of pornography on the internet and games, and stopping the attempts of the perpetrators in violence and sexual abuse against children by give them the weightest punishments. Rasullullah SAW as good role model has provided some guidance for us on how to educate children in detail, not only about early sex education, but also how to educate them since they are in the loins of their father. With reference to the sunnah that has showed by our Prophet to us, we as teachers and parents can apply it in everyday life, that will have a positive impact on children and the environment in the prevention of violence and sexual abuse against children.  Keywords: sex education, children, islamic perspective, Prophet’s sunnah perspective

The article presents the results of an anthropological analysis of the social life of a modern family. It is immersed in deep socio-economic and demographic problems, which are complicated by the impact of globalization and information technology. Analyzing the transformational processes of family relations, the author comes to the conclusion that in the modern family there is “alienation” of generations, the gap between parents and children, which affects the traditional ethno-confessional foundations of the family. We are talking about the foundations of the national mentality of the peoples of the region about intergenerational relationships between children and their parents, the transformation from a macro-family to a nuclear one.
