Pandemic like Covid-19 usually affects the productivity of man, let alone when there is a consequent total lock-down effect in the society. Construction and property development sector among others therefore is bound to suffer enormously since it involves the services of variety of labour force. The study therefore explores the implication and consequences of the Covid-19 outbreak on the construction and property development sector in the south eastern region of Nigeria. Data were collected electronically using field survey method of research design from the sampled respondents of building professionals in the area. Tau-b correlation method was adopted in the statistical analyses to determine the most commonly observed Covid-19 measures, most common vulnerable factors leading to spread and contraction of the pandemic in the study. Findings reveal that majority of the establishment in the area shutdown their operations according to the directive of the government; while about the three quarter of these establishments who were in active operations are observed as public owned corporations or projects. It is also discovered that hand washing, wearing of face mask and social distancing were mostly complied with. On the other hand, economic hardship, inflation, and difficulty in accessibility to fund noticeably affect the flow and progress of work projects. Despite the considerable compliance with the preventive measures, there is no significant relationship between conformity to social distancing and shut-down policy, and the volume of construction works in progress during the shut-down in the study area. In conclusion therefore, it is recommended that shut-down of economic activities should not be total but, in part and alternate form among the various sections of the economic activities within the society. Attention to the operations of the private construction and property development projects like in the and the public structure is also recommended for a more holistic arrangement, towards cushioning the effect of similar economic crisis occasioned by any pandemic like Covid-19 in general.

Like a culture that is rooted and continues to evolve, the problem of corruption in Indonesia has not yet found a bright spot, all the resources and efforts continue to be deployed to eradicate the already chronic disease in the body of this country. In 2018, the International Transparency Organization launched data on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI). Based on these data, Indonesia was ranked 89th with a score of 38. The government is well aware that this problem is no longer an ordinary problem, but has become an entrenched culture even to the line of life of the Indonesian people, this certainly requires us to work harder to eradicate this disease to its roots. Based on this, the author argues that in an effort to solve the problem of corruption is not enough if we only rely on law enforcement officers. There is another aspect that the writer values are very important in fighting this problem, that aspect is education. The aim of community service (PKM) is to provide alternative solutions for final year students and lecturers at PKM partners, by introducing systematic literature review (SLR) research methods for final scientific works through online workshop amid the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. With strict social distancing rules and a work from home (WFH) policy that limits/experiences difficulties in making student theses to conduct field research. Problems that exist with partners also have an impact on delays in final scientific works preparation, while the preparation of final scientific papers is an obligation as a requirement for graduation, other things also have an economic impact due to the spread of layoffs for students' families/ guardians, and business activities are also not easy with the PSBB regulation from the government through a circular, with restrictions on offline learning activities/ data collection in the field. Meanwhile, PKM partners also do not know the SLR method, so it is necessary to have an SLR method workshop as an alternative solution for conducting research using secondary data so that the research method policy can be an alternative solution. The evaluation of PKM activities is carried out with a pre-test at the beginning and a post-test at the end of the workshop. Evaluation results of participants on average increased from the previous 49 to 82 or an increase of about 59%. This means that, in general, this training was successful because it exceeded the indicator requirements, namely an average score of >75.
