This journal is the result of Ihyaul Kholid's research entitled"Orientation of Islamic Boarding School Education to the Labor Communityof Berbek VillageWaru District, Sidoarjo Regency".In this study, the authorstried to enter the Kaafiz Zamaan Islamic boarding school to collect accuratedata from the pesantren, both in the form of primary data and secondary data.Through a phenomenological approach, the author can find two phenomenathat are fully optimal. From observations made by researchers, it can beconcluded that the orientation of pesantren education in the Berbek WaruSidoarjo labor community will produce several changes including:Controlling the administration of the Kaafiz Zamaan Islamic Boarding Schoolboth AD/ART, structural management, data for teachers and students.Making the Kaafiz Zamaan Islamic Boarding School a center for religiousand scientific activities, such as PHBI 1 Muharram, Megengancommemoration, National Santri Day commemoration, Prophet Muhammad'sBirthday commemoration, Nishfu Sa'ban commemoration, Isra 'Mi'rajcommemoration and Nuzulul Qur'an commemoration. Growing the youngergeneration, especially children of the working community, to learn the Koranat TPQ Pondok Pesantren Kaafiz Zamaan through extra al-banjari training.Recruiting the adult generation, especially the ladies and gentlemen, to lovelearning about Islam through the socialization of the yasin-tahlil congregationand PHBI moments.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan Untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan Pondok Pesantren, bagaimana subkultur dan tata nilai, pola kepemimpinan dan kurikulum pondok pesantren menurut K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid. Adapun metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah penelitian kualitatif artinya penelitian yang menggunakan data informasi berbagai macam teori yang diperoleh dari kepustakaan, baik itu diperoleh dari sumber data primer maupun data skunder. Berdasarkan deskripsi atas pemikiran KH. Abdurrahman Wahid  mengenai pendidikan Pondok Pesantren di atas, setelah  penulis  lakukan  analisis lebih mendalam dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren ialah pendidikan yang didasarkan pada keyakinan religius dan bertujuan untuk membimbing atau menghantarkan peserta didik menjadi manusia yang utuh dan mandiri. Ada tiga elemen yang mampu membentuk pondok pesantren sebagai sebuah subkultur, yaitu: (1) pola kepemimpinan pondok pesantren yang mandiri dan tidak terkoptasi oleh negara, 2) literatur-literatur kitab-kitab kuning sebagai rujukan umum yang selalu digunakan dari berbagai abad, dan 3) sistem nilai yang digunakan adalah bagian dari masyarakat luas. Pola Kepemimpinan Pondok Pesantren bersifat Khirarki dan Kurikulum di pondok pesantren ditujukan untuk “mencetak” ulama di kemudian hari. Kata Kunci: Pemikiran Abdurrahman Wahid, Pondok Pesantren Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the concept of Islamic boarding school education, how subcultures and values, leadership patterns and Islamic boarding school curriculum according to K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid. The research method used in writing this thesis is qualitative research, meaning research that uses information data on various theories obtained from the literature, whether it is obtained from primary data sources or secondary data. Based on the description of the thoughts of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid regarding Islamic Boarding School education above, after the author conducted a more in-depth analysis, it can be concluded that Islamic Boarding School Education is education based on religious beliefs and aims to guide or deliver students to become complete and independent human beings. There are three elements that are able to form Islamic boarding schools as a subculture, namely: (1) leadership patterns of Islamic boarding schools that are independent and not co-opted by the state, 2) yellow books literature as general references that are always used from various centuries, and 3. ) the value system used is part of the wider community. The pattern of Islamic boarding school leadership is hierarchical and the curriculum in Islamic boarding schools is intended to "print" ulama in the future. Keywords : Thoughts KH. Pesantren, the Islamic boarding school, is the oldest Islamic education in Indonesia and is constantly undergoing changes from time to time. This research uses the qualitative approach. This study aims to describe the application of the heutagogy method in the growth of pesantren education. The results of this study indicate that the Al-Luqmaniyyah salaf Boarding School has already applied the heutagogy learning method, it means that pesantren education precedes the Westerners in terms of its utilization. Through the study and discussion of Kitab Kuning (yellow-colored textbooks about Islamic knowledge), students determine their systems, study materials, and problems to find a solution. Sources of learning for students are not only limited by the Kitab Kuning, but students can also have access through the internet, online books and applications with trusted sources. PSDS is responsible for managing the talents and interests of the santri (a term used in Pesantren to call an apprentice), as well as training santri skills by making films, recording, creativity, writing, making advertisements, making interesting contents on social media. LP2M Al-Luqmaniyyah with its various divisions is required to channel and facilitate what the community needs from the students as they can also learn from the community it self. This study discusses the analysis of the book translation of the book Ta'lim Muta'allim published by al-Hidayah. The book is one of the santri (moslem student) reference books to support students' understanding of the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) curriculum which uses the yellow book in their learning. The yellow book uses Arabic, so the translation of the book becomes very important. The focus of this research lies in the pattern of translation errors and justification of translations in accordance with the rules of Arabic and Indonesian dealing with lexicon, syntax and semantics. This qualitative research method uses an applied linguistic approach that focuses on error analysis. The primary data source in this research is the book translation of Ta'lim Muta'allim published by al-Hidayah, while the secondary data used in the study is a documentation technique by studying books and literacy that discusses the technique of translating properly and correctly according to structural , semantic and precise in terms of terminology. The results showed, including: Errors in the preparation of sentences in the target language, errors in the use of sentence effectiveness, errors in translating vocabulary, errors in aspects of omission or not translating aspects of vocabulary, phrases and sentences and errors in translating foreign terms.

Islamic boarding school or pesantren is often only considered as a conservative Islamic educational institution. In fact, Pesantren has the number of interesting aspects to be deeply apart from studying the religion. As an institution, it involves many parties. The study aims to describe the economic map of Pesantren in Pekalongan region. This research is categorized as a field research using survey. The primary data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations of the 25 Pesantren in Pekalongan region. The validation of data is done through triangulation of data and sources. Pesantren which became the object of this research are Pesantren which had established for at least three years and had a business unit. Based on the description of the research's findings and discussion, it was concluded that almost all Pesantren in Pekalongan region have a business unit. The existing business unit, mostly engaged in trade. The businesses itself is oriented to meet the internal needs of religious school, especially students. Pesantren has the role in determining every type of business unit and corporate governance run by the religious schools. The governance/management of the business unit was run in a simple, not follow the rules of modern business management yet. However, Pesantren have involved students in business management. The operations results of this business unit at least have contributed in boarding operations.

The study aims to analyze the meaning of debt according to the people of Kampung Kauman who prefer moneylenders than banks as their source of credit. This qualitative research uses a case study. Primary data were obtained through interviews with residents of Kampung Kauman, Pasrepan Village, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, which is located in an Islamic boarding school environment with a religious type of community. Secondary data in the form of details of the credit system to moneylenders. The sample used is saturated, i.e. all those who are credit members to loan sharks. Total informants numbered 21 of 30 households in Kauman Village. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of credit to loan sharks for the community in the study site environment is venture capital, a friendly place of association, mutual relief among credit members, and regarding usury laws on credit.

Kitab kuning merupakan faktor penting yang menjadi karakteristik Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes). Artikel ini membahas pembelajaran Kitab Kuning di Pondok Khusus Ponpes Al-Halimy Sesela. Pembahasan difokuskan pada metode dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran, serta teknik penilaian setelah pelakasanaan pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Khusus Al-Halimy Sesela menerapkan beberapa metode yang lazimnya digunakan di pondok-pondok Salaf, menggunakan metode klasik, yaitu metode sorogan, bandongan, wetonan, halaqoh, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan tanya jawab. Penerapan metode-metode dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning didasarkan kesesuaian metode yang akan digunakan dengan mata pelajaran yang akan diajarkan. Keberhasilan suatu metode yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning di Pondok Khusus Al-Halimy Sesela diukur dengan menggunakan beberapa cara di antaranya adalah dengan menguji secara langsung. Hendaknya tradisi pesantren Salaf tetap dapat dipertahankan dan selanjutnya memasukkan tradisi pesantren khalaf yang lebih baik, pemilihan metode yang tepat guna supaya memberikan dampak positif bagi kemajuan pendidikan pesantren sehingga akan muncul lulusan-lulusan yang betul-betul tafaqquh fi al-din. Title: Learning of Kitab Kuning “Yellow Book” at Special Al-Halimy Islamic Boarding School In Sesela Village of West Lombok Regency Abstract: The yellow book is an important factor which becomes characteristic of Islamic Boarding Schools. The results of the preliminary research showed that the Special Al-Halimy Islamic Boarding School of Sesela only studies classical books or yellow books which are not included in the governmental curriculum. The focuses of the study in this research included: First, it is related to the method used in yellow book learning; Second, it is related to how the application of learning methods is; Third, it is related to how the assessment after the implementation of yellow book learning takes place. The research design used descriptive qualitative. Then the results of the research showed that 1) special Al-Halimy Islamic Boarding School of Sesela applies several methods commonly used in Salaf Islamic Boarding Schools which teach yellow books, such as sorogan (individual), wetonan (group), and discussion methods. In addition, the types of methods used still use classical methods, namely the sorogan, bandongan, wetonan, and halaqoh methods, and also there are discussion, demonstration and question and answer methods, 2). The application of methods in yellow book learning is based on the suitability of method to be used with the subjects to be taught. 3). To find out the success level of a method applied in the yellow book learning at special Al-Halimy Islamic Boarding School of Sesela is by using several methods including testing directly. The final advice is given to the head of the Special Islamic Boarding School in order to maintain the tradition of the salaf Islamic Boarding School and incorporate the tradition of a better Khalaf Islamic Boarding School in order to give a positive impact on the progress of Islamic Boarding School education so that the graduates who truly understand the religion (tafaqquh fi al-din) will emerge and for  the teachers of special Al-Halimy Islamic Boarding School of Sesela, they have to be able to choose the right learning method and be able to see what the students need in joining the learning so that the learning objectives can be achieved.

This article aims to explain the perceptions and behavior of Moslem scholars (ulama/kiai) on the coast of Central Java toward Islamic banks. It is unassailable that finding out the kiai’s perception and behavior toward Islamic banks becomes unavoidable because the kiai occupies a very important position in the social structure as an agent of social change. In order to have an approriate understanding toward the perception and behavior, this study used qualitative-phenomenological approach. The main source of primary data were obtained from the kiai in Pekalongan region by using purposive sampling technique. Indepth-interview as the prominent method in gaining data was reinforced by observation method. To get validity of data, internal and external validity were performed. The former was taken through four stages, namely triangulation, emic process, member checking and prolonged time; and the latter through transferability. Data were analyzed inductively through three cronological steps, e.i. data reduction, display and conclusion drawing. Based on the perceptions and behavior of scholars toward Islamic banks, this study concludes that there are three categories of kiai. The first is an idealist compromise (kompromis-idealis) which argues that Islamic banks do not fully comply with sharia compliance yet, the use of Islamic banks is compulsory and conventional banks are not substitutes for Islamic banks. The second is a realistic compromise (kompromis realistis) which infers that Islamic banks are not fully accordance with sharia commpliance, the use of Islamic banks is not mandatory, but conventional banks are not substitutes for Islamic banks. The third is resistance (resisten) which argues that Islamic banks are not much different from conventional banks, so making use of Islamic bank is not obligation, and conventional banks substitute Islamic banks.

the basic principles of Islamic boarding school education, namely; Al Muhafadhah ala al-qadim al shalih wa al akhdzu bi al jadid al ashlah. This principle has encouraged pesantren to maintain good old Islamic values without denying better changes. This paper intends to explore two sides of the coin for Pondok Persantren where one side is a distinct advantage for but can be a boomerang that hinders the progress of Islamic education based on understanding the basic elements and values of Islamic boarding schools and, then contributing thoughts in building a holistic Islamic boarding school education so that can follow the development of science without losing the obligation to maintain basic values. Holistic pesantren education can only be achieved if it is reaffirmed that the elements of the boarding school education system are not oriented towards learning religious knowledge but how kyai, teachers / ustaz and santri can learn to live in religion.

This research aims to describe the form of collaboration application between educational components in realizing learning in grade II elementary school students. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method with a phenomenological approach to question natural phenomena. The subjects of this study were 92 people, consisting of 31 students of class II-B, 1 teacher of class II-B, 1 parallel teacher of class II-A, 1 representative of the school in the curriculum field, and 31 parents of students. The primary data of this research are based on the results of direct observations, while the secondary data are from documents related to collaboration, such as lesson plans, teacher research results, and the author's reflections on observations. The research instrument using observation and documentation techniques in the data. The results showed that to improve the quality of students positively and with quality, it is necessary to manage education through good collaboration from the school, family, and community so that positive stimulus through the interaction of educational components can develop aspects of students holistically. This study concludes that there are three forms of collaboration for educational components that can be carried out in realizing classroom learning, namely teacher and student collaboration, teacher collaboration, parallel teachers, and vice principal in curriculum, and teacher and parent collaboration (PaL's).

Learning independence of students at Dayah muslim school  in North Aceh through various activities of Dayah in an effort to make Dayah's Alumni who are ready to adapt and continue life in  society. Various activities carried out are structured, so the control and evaluation are carried out periodically. The independence of Dayah's student in the present context will experience difficulties when the necessary of the times keep developing. If the student  are not ready, they will experience being overwhelmed to face global competition. This research aims to find out and describe the learning process of the independence of Islamic boarding students, especially those in the North Aceh area. This research uses a qualitative research approach with with a phenomenological approach that is descriptively qualitative. The results show student education of  Islamic boarding school in North Aceh can be described through several fields, such as students' independence in doing ubuduyah, students' independence education in recitation activities, independence education in carrying out social activities, students' independence education in developing economy through another skill.
