AbstractSpiritual and social attitudes are important competencies that must be obtained by students through direct or indirect learning. Among the factors that determine the success of strengthening spiritual and social attitudes in learning are teaching materials that enable students to understand the experiences gained. The focus of this study is to strengthen students' spiritual and social attitudes through teaching materials that can make students give meaning to learning experiences. This research was conducted by observing and open questionnaire filling by students regarding the meaningfulness of teaching materials used in learning Islamic education (PAI) to strengthen the competency of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes of students. The results showed that the use of teaching materials in the student's book to reflect learning experiences and follow-up to improve their spiritual and social behaviour had fulfilled the need to reflect the values of spiritual and social attitudes from their learning experiences. The example could be included as Subjects divided Islamic education and Manners Classes Five SD/MI, in accordance with the annex to the Regulation-24 the Minister of education and culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24, 2016, core competencies for social attitudes requires the existence of a relationship between religious character (honesty in building social interaction) and love the motherland. The regulation has limitations in providing learning materials. The only use of the regulatory acts of the Prophet as an exemplary figure for religious and nationality characters exemplify. The disadvantage is that only materials provide a character one religion with learners. The use of figures can mask the weakness of Kyai Hashim. As scholars and national hero, Kyai Hashim is a character that one religion and one country with learners in the context of Indonesia.

The purpose of this development research is to produce e-modules as teaching materials used by students in Biology subjects. The model used in developing this e-module is the 4-D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Biology e-modules on plantae and animalia material based on the potential of the Kerinci region were validated by media and material experts. The results of the media expert validation obtained the final percentage of 90% (very valid category) and the material expert validation obtained a percentage of 75% (valid category). From the results of the field test, the teacher responded that the e-modules produced were suitable for use in biology class X high school learning with a percentage of 92.5% (very good category). Furthermore, e-module trials on students obtained responses that the products produced were also proper to be used in biology learning in class X of senior high school. The small group test obtained a score of 85% (excellent category) and the large group test obtained score 78.3% (good category). Objective: Comprising 4% of tinnitus, pulsatile tinnitus (PT) can be particularly difficult for affected patients as well as surgeons looking to address their symptoms. Often the cause is not identified but can be secondary to turbulent flow in or near the sigmoid sinus, particularly if there is an identifiable sigmoid sinus dehiscence (SSDe) and/or diverticulum (SSDi). These sigmoid sinus wall anomalies (SSWA) may be treated with transmastoid sigmoid sinus resurfacing; however, this intervention remains relatively novel and its technique, materials used, resolution success, and complications need to be continuously reviewed. Methods: A retrospective case series of patients with PT due to SSWA at a tertiary referral center was reviewed. A total of 6 patients (7 ears) treated by transmastoid resurfacing using hydroxyapatite (HA) were retrospectively assessed. Pre-operative demographics and symptoms, pre- and post-operative hearing results, and post-operative outcomes were reviewed. Results: All patients were female with an average BMI of 32.9 (±5.4) and a mean age of 45.5 years (±15.3). Mean follow-up was 648 days. Objective tinnitus was noted in all ears with SSDi (100%); however, no objective tinnitus was noted with purely SSDe. In 100% of ears, PT was diminished with ipsilateral jugular compression and was amplified with contralateral head turn. Pre-operative symptoms of PT resolved in all patients, but delayed recurrence (>1 year) occurred in 1 ear (14%). No patient had pre- or post-operative hearing loss. No major complications were encountered. Conclusions: Transmastoid resurfacing for SSWA with HA bone cement is a safe, reliable intervention in properly identified PT patients.

Globalization has resulted in a shift in human morals, marked by the many cases of moral deviations that are rife in various parts of Indonesia so that the application of spiritual attitudes has not been maximized. As a process of knowledge transformation that will underlie the attitude of life of a Muslim, a qualified strategy is needed to teach the true teachings of Islam to the younger generation. The challenge for the current generation (millennial) is the opening of all channels of information that are very easy to obtain but not accompanied by good assistance from teachers and parents, so they are prone to absorb wrong information or even information that is not suitable for the size of the mind and soul. The next problem that occurs at this time is the reduced role of a teacher in shaping character and providing teaching materials that they should receive. This paper will invite to explore how the process of transformation of Islamic education was exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad and the Archangel Jibril before his companions regarding the methods used and what materials should be taught as the basis of Islamic knowledge. This research will use the literature method through the hadith literature and books that recite the hadith. The author also uses a philosophical and hermeneutic approach in understanding this hadith to get a new understanding but not out of an educational context. The research results from the understanding of this hadith are that a teacher plays a central role in the process of Islamic education so that teachers are expected to be able to appear as role models in front of their students, not display disgrace and personal ugliness, show friendly behavior to their students, have healthy scientific interactions, and teach basic things that are important in Islam according to the capacity of the soul and mind of the student.
