<p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong><strong>:</strong> Humans are social creatures who need mutual support from one another. So social support contributes to their assertive behavior in social life. Furthermore, this study wants to examine the close relationship between social support and assertive behavior among students The purpose of this study is to explain the categories of social support, certain behavior categories, and the relationship between social support and assertive behavior of students majoring in Islamic Counseling Guidance Imam Bonjol Padang. The research method used is a quantitative research method with correlation techniques that are processed with the SPSS program version 16.0 for windows. The population in this study was 334 students majoring in Islamic Counseling Guidance for Imam Bonjol Padang, with 182 students as the research sample. The sample was taken using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study are psychological scales, which are guided by the Likert model scale. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson correlation. The results showed that 64.3% of students had high social support, and 73.1% of students showed low assertive behavior. The results showed relations between social support and assertive behavior. </p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> Social Support, Assertive Behavior, Student<em>s</em></p>

People with hearing impairment commonly are facing social ninteraction problems, which may affect their life and how they perceived their life’s meaning. Therefore, people with hearing impairment often needs social support to overcome hinders in their life. This research used quantitative research method. The purpose of this research is to test the correlation between social support and life’s meaning on people with hearing impairment in Persatuan Tuna Rungu Indonesia (The Indonesian Union of Hearing Impairment) Surabaya Branch. Social support and life’s meaning scales were given to 50 respondents as research subject, which was using Purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Product Moment Pearson correlation technique. Based on data analysis, it is found that the correlation coefficient is 0,477 with significance value of 0,000 (<0,05). It can be concluded from the result that there is a positive relation between social support and life’s meaning of people with hearing impairments.Abstrak: Penyandang tuna rungu memiliki hambatan dalam melakukan interaksi sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi hidup mereka dan bagaimana mereka memaknai hidup. Oleh karena itu penyandang tuna rungu membutuhkan dukungan sosial untuk mengatasi hambatan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kebermaknaan hidup pada penyandang tuna rungu di komunitas Persatuan Tuna Rungu Indonesia (Perturi) Surabaya. Skala dukungan sosial dan skala kebermaknaan hidup dibagikan ke 50 orang subjek penelitian yang didapatkan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan koefisien korelasi memiliki nilai 0,477 dengan signifikasi sebesar  0,000 (<0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan kebermaknaan hidup pada tuna rungu.

Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk menganalisis hubungan dukungan sosial untuk menurunkan kecemasan karyawan akibat Covid-19 pada CV. Citra Jaya Banjarbaru; dan (2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan sosial untuk menurunkan kecemasan karyawan akibat Covid-19 pada CV. Citra Jaya Banjarbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan CV. Citra Jaya Banjarbaru yang berjumlah 41 orang. Mengingat jumlah populasi relatif kecil, yaitu di bawah 100, maka seluruh anggota populasi diambil semua sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment pearson dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan menghadapi Covid-19; dan (2) Dukungan sosial perpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kecemasan menghadapi Covid-19. Berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan artinya jika dukungan sosial meningkat, maka akan menyebabkan kecemasan menghadapi Covid-19 akan menurun. Variabel kecemasan menghadapi Covid-19 dijelaskan oleh variabel dukungan sosial sebesar 43,7%, sedangkan sisanya 56,3% dijelaskan oleh sebab-sebab yang lain di luar model yang tidak diteliti.   Kata Kunci: Dukungan Sosial, Kecemasan, Covid-19.   Abstact : The objectives of this study were: (1) To analyze the relationship between social support to reduce employee anxiety due to Covid-19 at CV. Citra Jaya Banjarbaru; and (2) To analyze the effect of social support to reduce employee anxiety due to Covid-19 at CV. Citra Jaya Banjarbaru. The research method used is a quantitative research method. The population in this study were all employees of CV. Citra Jaya Banjarbaru, amounting to 41 people. Considering the relatively small population, which is below 100, all members of the population are taken as the research sample. The data analysis technique used in this study used Pearson product moment correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that (1) there was a relationship between social support and anxiety in facing Covid-19; and (2) Social support has a negative and significant effect on anxiety in facing Covid-19. It has a negative and significant effect, meaning that if social support increases, it will cause anxiety to face Covid-19 to decrease. The variable of anxiety facing Covid-19 is explained by the social support variable of 43.7%, while the remaining 56.3% is explained by other causes outside the model that were not studied..   Keywords: Social Support, Anxiety, Covid-19.

This study investigates how the development of artificial intelligence (AI) is perceived by the students enrolled in technical and humanistic specializations at two universities in Timisoara. It has an emphasis on identifying their attitudes towards the phenomenon, on the connotations associated with it, and on the possible impact of artificial intelligence on certain areas of the social life. Moreover, the present study reveals the students’ perceptions on the sustainability of these changes and developments, and therefore aims to reduce the possible negative impact on consumers, and at anticipate the changes that AI will produce in the future. In order to collect the data, the authors have used a quantitative research method. A questionnaire-based sociological survey was completed by 928 students, with a representation error of only ±3%. The analysis has shown that a great number of respondents have a positive attitude towards the emergence of AI, who believe it will influence society for the better. The results have also underscored underlying differences based on the respondents’ type of specialization (humanistic or technical), and their gender.

The purpose of this study is to measure how much influence social media Instagram and consumer confidence in millennial purchase interest. The variables of this research are Instagram social media (X1), consumer trust (X2) and millennial purchase interest (Y). The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with an associative approach, by distributing 200 online questionnaires to millennials of productive age. The analysis technique used to test the hypothesis in this study is the path analysis. Hypothesis test results show intagram social media and consumer trust have a significant influence on millennial buying interest and mediation hypothesis testing results show that consumer confidence variables mediate Instagram social media on millennial buying interest. Conclusion, consumer confidence in an online fashion store will certainly affect the buying interest. Keywords: Instagram, Consumer Trust, Social Media, Millennials, Purchase Interest

Pesta Sekolah are events in social community in Manggarai when the community member wants to continue their studies but are constrained by costs. Pesta Sekolah is a form of social support in the Manggarai community which is reflected in the form of caring and assistance both morally and materially to fellow members. There are Manggarai students who continue their studies at tertiary institutions who have outstanding achievements, however not frequently there are students who do not complete their studies. This study aims to analyze the relationship of social support in the form of a school party with achievement motivation in Manggarai students in Kupang City. The research type is quantitative research. The population is taken based on criteria while sampling uses a total sampling of 71 students from three Manggarai regional organizations in Kupang City. Analysis using Product Moment Pearson Correlation shows that there is a significant relationship between social support in the form of Pesta Sekolah and achievement motivation (r= 0.680; ƿ <0.05).

This study has a background to determine the correlation between internet services and library access services at IAIN Kediri, so that the results can be used to facilitate librarians in arranging the priority needs of library service users, especially students. This research uses quantitative research method by collecting data through a questionnaire distributed to 300 students. The result of the questionnaire is then analyzed to gain the correlation value to find relationships between variables followed by looking for regression values to determine the influence of one variable on another. To determine the value of validity and reliability, the Pearson Correlation Product Moment formula and Alpha-Cronbach formula are used. Based on the results of the data analysis technique using simple linear regression, between the independent (internet services) and the dependent variable (services in the library) has a correlation value (R2) of 25.5% which means that there is a positive correlation (interrelated between one variable and one variable). other). Briefly, it can be concluded that internet services have a correlation with access to library services and an important role in supporting student learning activities. Accordingly, librarians are strongly expected to carry out management especially in terms of library service facilities and infrastructure at IAIN Kediri.

ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the functional capacity and its relationship with the level of social support to people affected by cerebrovascular accident. Methods: Cross-sectional and quantitative research, conducted with 108 individuals with sequelae of cerebrovascular accident in João Pessoa/PB. Data were collected through interviews, using a sociodemographic instrument – the Barthel Index and the Social Support Scale. Results: We observed the prevalence of functional dependency in 93.5%, and the mild dependency stood out in 40.7%. Medium social support was the most found, with 48.2%. The predominant dimensions of social support were the material dimension, followed by the emotional. There was a significant association (p ≤ 0.05) between very serious dependency and high social support. Conclusion: The results found allow us to reflect on the need for involvement of health professionals in strengthening the social support of patients with disabling diseases, such as the cerebrovascular accident.

This study aims to provide empirical evidence of the influence of unemployment and inflation for poverty. The type of data used in this study is primary data with quantitative research method using multiple linear regression analysis technique and test hypotheses processed with Eviews 10. The result of data analysis showed that unemployment and inflation has a significant impact on the poverty. Seen from coefficient of determination that unemployment and inflation for poverty affect 63.95%, while the remaining 36.05% influenced by the others thay not included in this research.

This study aims to identify Social Support and Self Disclosure of Paket B students in PKBM Negeri 33 Malaka. This study was conducted using quantitative research, with ex-postfacto research method. Social Support instrument using adaptation from Social Support Scale by Rangga Amarullah and Self Disclosure instrument adaptation of The Jourard Sixty-Item Self Disclosure Questionnaire by Jourard and Lasakow. Procedure sampling technique use saturation sampling. Participants in this research were 38 people who are adolesence of Paket B Students in PKBM Negeri 33 Malaka. Based on the analysis of data, obtained by regression Social Support on Self Disclosure amounted to 13,6% with significance level of 0.023 (p < 0.05). The results showed that there are significant Social Support to Self Disclosure Paket B students in PKBM Negeri 33 Malaka, shown by the regression equation Y = 0,637 + 0,294X which means higher Social Support, higher Self Disclosure, and vice versa.

The background of this research is the sales of Vivo Smartphone that is not stable at PT Salim Surya Phone Samarinda. The sales decline was caused by the brand image and attribute products. There are some purposes of this study are to know and analyse the variable influences of brand image and attribute products to the purchasing decision of Vivo Smartphone at PT Salim Surya Phone  Samarinda. And to know which variables have the dominant influences on the purchasing decision of these products. The research method that the researcher used is a quantitative research method. The sample of this study was 100 respondents with amount population. The technique that used is Incidental sampling Technique. The data collection technique is study of literature and field research that is questionnaire, observation, and interview. While the data analysis technique used multiple linear analysis. The conclusion of this study are the variable of brand image (X1) and attribute products (X2) simultaneously and partial significant effects on purchasing decision (X2) is to have a dominant influence on products purchasing decision of Vivo Smartphone at PT Salim Surya Phone Samarinda.
