Work target for Regional Coordinating Bodies (Badan Koordinasi Wilayah/Bakorwil) is not generally realized as it targeted. As an institution with main duties in government development program in the area, there is a strong need to increase Bakorwil Pamekasan personal competence. This article analyzes to what extent officer competence development in Bakorwil Pamekasan and to review factors that influence officer competence development. This research method used was descriptive qualitative. The sample was collected by purposive sampling technique. In this research, Head of Bakorwil Pamekasan, Secretary of Bakorwil, and all the head division in Bakorwil were choosen as informant. Findings show that competency development in Bakorwil had not yet entirely implemented. There are several factors that hinder the competency development, namely: trust and value, skill/expertness, experiences, personal characteristics, motivation, emotional issues and intellectual capacity. This research concludes that the competency development program was still limited to work meeting, technical meeting, congress, seminar, technical guidance, and workshop. Officer's knowledge about their responsibility and work programs were limited. Moreover, further understanding for work program implementation was not yet fully understood.

Abstrak Penelitian tentang “Peningkatan Kompetensi dan Kinerja Tenaga Pendidik PAUD melalui Komunikasi Efektif di Kota Bandung dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan menjamurnya lembaga PAUD yang didirikan oleh masyarakat dalam upaya menyukseskan program pemerintah yang disebut PAUDISASI. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini disusun untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang peningkatan kompetensi dan kinerja pendidik melalui komunikasi efektif di lembaga PAUD meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi terhadap program pengembangan kompetensi dan kinerja tenaga pendidik di PAUD Al-Jannah dan Psy Center Kota Bandung menunjukkan: 1) Perencanaan program disusun dengan baik; 2) Pelaksanaan program dilakukan oleh semua stakeholder disertai sosialisasi, pengarahan, pencatatan dan pengawasan dari kepala lembaga; 3) Evaluasi program dilakukan oleh yayasan, kepala lembaga secara komunikatif 4) Faktor pendukung berupa tersedianya sarana berbasis IT serta buku-buku panduan kurikulum, adanya alokasi anggaran (walau relatif terbatas), serta mayoritas guru berkualifikasi pendidikan S1. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah masih adanya guru yang belum memahami pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi dan kinerja, serta belum terbiasanya guru menghadapi rambu-rambu regulasi yang dilakukan. Kata kunci: kompetensi, kinerja, tenaga pendidik PAUD, komunikasi efektif Abstract The research on "Improving Competency and Performance of PAUD Educators through Effective Communication in Bandung is motivated by the reality of the proliferation of PAUD institutions established by the community in an effort to succeed a government program called PAUDISASI. Therefore this research is structured to find a picture of increasing the competence and performance of educators through effective communication in PAUD institutions including planning, implementation, evaluation and supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of observations, interviews and documentation studies on the competency development program and the performance of educators in Al-Jannah PAUD and the Bandung City Psy Center show: 1) Program planning is well structured; 2) Program implementation is carried out by all stakeholders accompanied by socialization, direction, recording and supervision from the head of the institution; 3) Program evaluation is carried out by the foundation, the head of the institution communicatively 4) Supporting factors such as the availability of IT-based facilities and curriculum guide books, the existence of budget allocations (although relatively limited), and the majority of teachers qualified with S1 education. This study aims to determine the managerial competence of madrasah principals in developing the performance of teachers and education personnel (management study of the principal of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati in Pati Regency). This research was conducted on the implementation of pedagogic competence development at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati which was carried out by the head of madrasah to develop the performance of teaching staff and education personnel. The methodology in this study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are by observation, interviews and documentation. The method used to check the validity of the data is the triangulation method. Data analysis in this study used qualitative analysis. The results showed that the Principal of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati management of pedagogic competence development at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati included: a) Planning for the head of the madrasah in developing the competence of teachers and education personnel at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati by preparing a work program that was initiated. by deliberation with the teaching staff and education staff in accordance with the regulations set by the government. b) The organizing that was carried out by the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati was to realize the school development policy, especially the development of the competence of teachers and education staff in forming a work team for the quality of decision making. c) the implementation of the Principal of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati, where teaching staff and education personnel realize several main aspects in the program of competency development for teaching staff and education personnel, by disseminating the implementation of competency development for teachers and education personnel, d) Supervision of the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati realized all the activities that were attended by educators and education staff in developing the competencies they mastered.

The book collection has not been properly inventoried, student interest in reading visits is still low, supervision is carried out every 2/3 months, there is a loss of inventory of madrasa library books, the head of the library does not have staff resources. The purpose of this study is to uncover and analyze the management process including; planning, implementing, organizing, monitoring and evaluating libraries in Madrasah Aliyah Darussalam Sumedang, Indonesia. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use; study interviews with the head of the library as the key informant and head of the madrasa, study documents include, book archives, library work programs, library visit books; Observation studies record library activity activities, discussion processes, weekly meetings. The results showed that; first, planning is carried out with the madrasa head at the madrasa level meeting by submitting a work program and submitting a draft budget (RAB); second, organizing is regulated based on the statement of the headmaster of madrasa no: MA.i / S / 20 / pp.006 / 001/2019 concerning the additional duties of Elyana Barbera as head of the library and does not yet have accompanying staff; third, the program implementation at the library is carried out by the head of the library, namely borrowing books, daily library services, work program socialization; fourth, supervision is carried out incidentally monthly and weekly, direct and indirect visits through work program reports to the madrasah head; an evaluation is carried out at the end of the school academic period by submitting a report on the overall madrasa library management program.

This study aimed at describing the personal characteristics, motivation, and performance of mosque committee members (Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid). In addition, this study also attempted to describe the leadership and the managerial competence of the mosque committee chairmen. This study was conducted from May to November 2015 in Bogor regency with 215 respondents as the sample. The number of samples in each district was determined by using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that in general, the DKM members are in the productive age with high level of learning orientation. Their motivation can be classified as moderate to high, particularly on the motivation to affiliate. However, the performance of the DKM members as a whole tends to be low, with the highest performance in the program implementation. On the other hand, the leadership of DKM chairmen is categorized as middle to high, with the highest score in the ability to relate to others. Additionally, their managerial competence in general is in the moderate to high category, particularly in the internal cooperation.

The objectives of this research are to know and to analyze about the effect of Continuous Improvement on the performance of employees at PT. Rentang Buana Niagamakmur (PT.RBN) Tasikmalaya. Research method which applied in this research is survey research method, while data collecting technique is done by through questionaire. Sampling technique applies sample is accidental sampling technique and the size sample is 55 respondents. Data analysis techniques used in the study is simple regression technique, analysis of the coefficient of determination  and t test. The results showed that the Continuous Improvement  including both criteria, including employee performance criteria, as well as Continuous Improvement  has a positive influence on employee performance of 76,4% in PT . Rentang Buana Niagamakmur (PT.RBN) Tasikmalaya.

Abstract: Staphylococcus is a cause of infection. Infection can be transmitted from a source by an indirect through fomite. Paper money can act as transmission of infectious agents, money acts as a fomite. Smaller denominations of value have higher contamination. This study aims to analyze differences in contamination bacterial Staphylococcus sp on denomination of paper money Rp.2.000, 5.000, Rp.10,000 and Rp.20.000 that currently shop on Adi Sucipto street town Pontianak. The research method used in this research is in the form of difference and the sample in this research is denomination of paper money curently with sampling technique using cluster sampling. Checkup of Staphylococcus spon denomination of paper money using rinse method. On these result of study, denomination of paper money Rp.2.000 that is contaminated staphylococcus sp is 80%, denomination of paper money Rp.5.000 that is contaminated staphylococcus sp is 70%, denomination of paper money Rp.10.000 and Rp.20.000 that is contaminated staphylococcus sp is 80%. The data from result of study has been obtained were analyzed statistically by using fisher exact test, the result of p (0,477) >α (0,05) which mean as H1 is rejected. So it can be concluded there is no difference of contamination bacteria staphylococcus sp on denominations of paper money rupiah.Abstrak: Staphylococcus merupakan penyebab terjadinya infeksi. Infeksi dapat ditularkan dari suatu sumber dengan mekanisme tidak langsung melalui fomite. Uang kertas dapat bertindak sebagai transmisi agens infeksius ,uang berperan sebagai fomite. Pecahan uang yang lebih kecil nilainya memiliki kontaminasi yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan cemaran bakteri Staphylococcus sp pada pecahan uang kertas Rp.2.000, 5.000, Rp.10.000 dan Rp.20.000 yang beredar di warung jalan Adi Sucipto kota Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian berbentuk komperatif dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pecahan uang kertas rupiah dengan.teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan Staphylococcus sp pada pecahan uang kertas rupiah menggunakan metode rinse. Pada hasil penelitian pecahan uang kertas Rp.2.000 yang tercemar staphylococcus sp adalah 80%, pecahan uang kertas Rp.5.000 yang tercemar staphylococcus spadalah 70%, pecahan uang kertas Rp.10.000 dan Rp.20.000 yang tercemar staphylococcus spadalah 50%. Berdasarkan data dari hasil penelitian yang telah didapat dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik fisher exact, didapatkan hasil p (0,477) >α (0,05) yang diartikan sebagai H1 ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak ada perbedaan cemaran bakteri staphylococcus sp pada pecahan uang kertas rupiah.

The purpose of this study was to determine how the relationship and influence of leadership and motivation to employees performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor. The research method was used with Explanatory Analysis approach that explains the causality relationship between variables. Sampling technique was using saturated sample, all members of the population were sampled. From this research result was found there is a relationship and influence which is significant between the variables of leadership motivation to employee performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor among variables by using the test F, where F count larger than F table (32.173 > 3.158). Conclusion: There is a significant effect that can be explained by the result obtained from the R-square is 0530, which means that the variables of leadership and motivation are giving contribution of 53.0% to the variable of employees performance at PT. Astra Honda Motor, while the remaining 47.0% was contributed by other variables which not researched. Suggestions which the author convey to company, leadership which was contained in the company would need to be more increased, considers motivation of employees was good enough.

Abstract This paper reports the findings of a case study in which a curriculum-based positive youth development program (Project P.A.T.H.S.) was implemented by the class teachers in a school. School-related factors which contributed to the success of program implementation were identified in the study. Results showed that factors facilitating the program implementation were closely related to the “5Ps” model (i.e., program, people, process, policy and place). While all the above factors contributed to the success of program implementation, the “people” factor was identified as the most crucial factor. Overall, both the students and program implementers perceived the program to be effective in promoting holistic development in the program participants.

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the welfare of the people of the City of Padang measured using the Human Development Index consisting of: 1) To determine the effect of the Per Capita Gross Regional Domestic Product on the welfare of the people in the City of Padang. 2) To determine the effect of number of Poor in community welfare in Padang. 3) To determine the effect of Unemployment Rate on the welfare of people in the city of Padang. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling. Data collection was performed using documentation and hypothesis testing techniques in this study using multiple linear regression test. Based on the results of the study note that: 1) The regression coefficient value of GDP per capita is equal to 0.0000002 with a probability of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05. 2) The regression coefficient value of the number of poor population is 0.156 with a probability of 0.526 which is smaller than 0.05. 3) The regression coefficient value of the Open Unemployment Rate is -0,00014 with a probability of 0.117 less than 0.05. The conclusions that can be drawn are as follows: 1) Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) has a positive and significant effect on the welfare of the people in Padang City. 2) The number of poor people has no significant effect on the welfare of the people in the city of Padang. 3) Open Unemployment Rate has no negative and significant effect on the welfare of the people in Padang City.

Startfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) is one the kind of plant that is widely used as a traditional herbal medicineto overcome various diseases i.e. diabetes mellitus, cough, rheumatism, thrush, diabetes, toothache, acne, etc. The secondary metabolites of the starfruit leaves contain flavonoids and tannins, whereby these activecompounds can be used as an antibacterial. This study aimed to determine the inhibiting power of starfruit leaf ethanol extract against Staphylococcus epidermidis at concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The research was conducted at the  AKAFARMA Laboratory and the Chemistry Laboratory , Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University from June to July 2020. The research method was laboratory experimental using the disk diffusion method. The population of starfruit leaves was obtained from Lhokseumawe  using a purposive sampling technique. Ethanol extract of starfruit leaves with concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The diameter of the inhibition zone of the ethanol extract  from the starfruit leaves at  concentrations of 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% were 15 mm, 12 mm, 11 mm and 10 mm, respectively. It can be concluded that  ethanol extract of starfruit leaves can inhibit the growth  of  Staphylococcus  epidermidis  with  a  maximum inhibitory concentration  of  100%,  which is classified  as a strong category.
