Meaningful learning can be carried out by adapting learning to local culture and traditions. Ethnoscience is a set of knowledge identified in a community and can be used as the learning base to create contextual and meaningful learning for students. This study aims to find more information about ethnoscience-based biology learning. The research method used was a literature study. The literature used mainly discusses ethnoscience, ethnoscience learning, and learning methods.   The instrument used in this study was a summary table of all related articles, following the summary table made by Cronin et al. (2008). This research produces a new conceptual framework which is a synergy between ethnoscience and problem-based learning. This research also generates six procedures for designing ethnoscience-based learning and five steps to integrate ethnoscience into Problem-based Learning. The integration of ethnoscience in problem-based learning can increase the contextuality and meaning of biology learning and can be applied to maintain local culture. This study recommends the use of procedures resulted from this study to design ethnoscience-based learning and integrate ethnoscience learning into Problem-Based Learning.

This study aims to describe whether the Problem Based Learning Model can be used for students' motivation problems in learning mathematics, what kind of motivation is successfully provided by the Problem Based Learning Model, and how the Problem Based Learning Model can make students have motivation in learning mathematics. The research method used is the Literature Research Method, by conducting a literature review through books in Indonesian. To maintain the quality of the material being studied, Indonesian language books are often used as references and written by experts (for example professors) which are proven based on tracking activities carried out in various journals, books, and from the Higher Education Database (pddikti). Data analysis techniques were carried out in 3 stages, namely: organize, synthesize, and identify. The results showed that the  Problem Based Learning Model can be used for students' motivation problems in learning mathematics, intrinsic motivation is the type of motivation provided by the Problem Based Learning Model and the Problem Based Learning Model can make students have motivation in learning Mathematics because it is directly associated with the real world, so students feel mathematics is very useful and motivation will emerge.

Aims: This study aims to explore the possibility of Rusip as a medium for distance learning in biology subjects. Study design:  The research method used the literature review method. Place and duration of study: Indonesia, between February 2021 and May 2021. Methodology: In this study, researchers searched works of literature from multiple data search engines, namely research gate, google scholar, and Mendeley website. The keywords used to search for relevant documents are typing the word rusip, biology, learning media. Results: The results showed that 1) the use of rusip as a media for learning biology is more suitable for teaching materials that contain the theme of fermentation; 2) the rusip learning media can be presented as an e-module which predominantly presents a complete picture and description of each step in the making of rusip. Conclusion: The rusip’s local culture can be developed to be learning media in biological lesson

Javanese, one of more than 300 languages in Indonesia. In order to understand the legacy of our ancestors, the role of the Javanese script is quite significant so it is important to learn and understand. At this time, the interest of early childhood in Indonesian culture is starting to decrease and it can cause Indonesian culture to be abandoned. The low level of ability to read and write Javanese script is due to several factors, namely, interest, teachers, learning methods, and learning media facilities and infrastructure. Applying the Javanese script learning method from an early age using the puzzle game media, it is hoped that future generations will be able to master it and be able to preserve the cultures of this beloved country. The research method chosen is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through a literature study process where data collection comes from books and documents related to the discussion of this article.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the ability of high school teachers in making syllabus and Learning Implementation Plan (LIP) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) which refers to Permendikbud Number 22, 2016. The research method used is descriptive research. The results showed that the profile of the teacher’s ability to make PBL-based syllabus and RPP which refers to Permendikbud Number 22, 2016 shows that the component in making assessment with the smallest percentage of 46%. In improving teacher capacity that is not optimal, it is necessary to develop an academic supervision model in making syllabus and LIP based on PBL that refers to Permendikbud Number 22, 2016. The conclusion is that the academic supervision model used must be able to foster learning community and support peer supervision.

The study deals with 16th and 17th century Hungarian printed polemical works considering religious disputes a typical form of communication in the age of Reformation and Catholic renewal. Its conceptual framework is the paradigm or research method of the long Reformation as an efficient assistance to the discovery and appreciation of early modern theological-religious diversity. The analysis examines several kinds of communication which occurs in the (religious) dispute, and explores the rules and conventions along which the (verbal) fighting takes place. Research shows that the opponents repeatedly refer to the rules of dialectics refuting each other’s standpoints accusing them of faulty argumentation, i.e., the wrong use of syllogisms. Dialectics is, namely, in this context not the ars with the help of which truth is found but with which evident truth is checked and justified in a way that the opponents can also be educated to follow the right direction.

Innovation is needed in learning to make meaningful learning, so the student constructs their ownknowledge from the learning experience of learning process. One of the innovations is to integrate Problem Based Learning model. Problem Based Learning involves students to be active in every problem. Eleven problems type in Problem Based Learning that have different solving steps, due to every student different metacognition character potential and can change by given treatment. This research is a pre-experimental design: the pretest-posttest control and experimental group design with embedded experimental design. The metacognition character data were analyzed qualitaively, whereas the average grade data were analyzed quantitatively. The analysis of metacognition character shows the different metacognition characters and on learning process there is improvement of student achievement from 14% to 84.4%.
