Background of research entitled The Concept of Holistic Education According to Muchlas Samani Thought and Its Implementation In Education System in Indonesia is the condition of education in Indonesia especially in holistic education. And Muchlas Samani is one of the educational activists who are concerned on this issue.This research has several objectives, the first is to know the meaning of holistic education according to Muchlas Samani. And the second is to know the implementation of holistic education on education system in Indonesia according to Muchlas Samani.This research is a historical research with a kind of biography. Data analysis used by researcher in this research is (1) review all data obtained from research about concept and practice of holistic education according to Muchlas Samani's thought, (2) to further reduce the data, (4) hereinafter the data collected and arranged according to the required category, (5) at the last stage, the researcher does the meaning of the research result obtained with the sentence which is easy to understand and still has relevance to the title, the purpose and the formulation of the existing problem.The results obtained from this research is holistic education according Muchlas Samani is a concept of education intact, not partial. What makes the Islamic values as the spirit and the subjects as a container. And has a goal to develop the potency possessed by learners in facing the futurenya. For implementation of holistic education in the education system in Indonesia according to Muchlas Samani is still lacking. This is because in the education system in Indonesia is still using the general curriculum.

Nowadays, what become problem in Indonesia is the lack ofleadership skill. Anarchy and brawling happened to the juvenile and isstarting to be a culture. The affection of foreign cultures and the lackof leader figure are factors for the nation characteristic crisis. Manyincidents of delinquency must to be concerned by family and school,because the youth is the future of the nation. Government should haverealized the importance of the youth education by encouraging theleadership through the character and leadership education base.Thepurpose of this research is to encourage the leadership of the youththrough “think-talk-write (TTW)” education strategy. The strategy isabout the way chosen by educators to define the scope, and the topicsin the class. This model is used by the author and applied by givingtime for the students to do activities (thinking, reflecting the ideas andtesting it).The research methodology used is descriptive method, whichexplains the research result based on the data taken from the TTWeducation process. The data is collected by 2 observers using form oftutorial activity and form of student activities. The data analysis ofstudent activities is calculated by changing the frequency of activities bythis equation% activity = frequency of certain activities x 100%total number of activitiesThe leadership indicator can be concluded from variables appliedby the teacher in TTW education system and the leadership indicatorshown by students. Those leadership elements are like to read, clever,stable emotion, able to communicate well, writing ability, and decidewith well thought, open-minded to find solution, active, and able tocooperate in team.

In the twentieth century, Minangkabau became the center of renowned Islamic education. Its students came from many countries in Southeast Asia. One of the uniqueness of the Islamic education system in Minangkabau in the 20 century is the continuing relationship between pupils and teachers even though the students have completed their education. This study aims to find patterns of relationships that exist between teachers and students in the Minangkabau region in the past. Based on the contents of the letters and supported by supporting data results in the finding that there are three patterns of relationships between teachers and students in Surau Baru Mungka, namely, the pattern of sheikh and santri relation, a teacher becomes a central figure who has high spiritual values; Patterns of parent and child relationships, where teachers are central figures who protect their children; And patron-client relationship pattern, where the teacher is the source of power. The source of data of this study are letters gathered form Surau Baru in Mungka, in form of documents and interviews with teachers and students who are still in associated with surau Mungka. The method of this study used historical research by performing several stages. First, heuristic (gathering sources). Second, source criticism (selecting primary and secondary sources). Third, interpretation (doing interpretation of the sources found). Fourth, historiography (rewrote from research result). ABSTRAK Pada abad ke-20, Minangkabau menjadi pusat pendidikan Islam yang tersohor. Murid-muridnya banyak berasal dari pelbagai negara di Asia Tenggara. Salah satu daya tarikan dari sistem pendidikan Islam di Minangkabau pada abad ke 20 ialah relasi antara murid dan guru yang terus berlangsung meskipun murid telah menuntaskan jenjang pendidikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pola-pola relasi yang terjalin antara guru dan murid di wilayah Minangkabau pada masa lalu. Berdasarkan konten surat-surat dan didukung oleh data-data penunjang menghasilkan temuan bahawa terdapat tiga pola relasi yang terjalin anatara guru dan murid di Surau Baru Mungka, iaitu: pola relasi syekh dan santri, seorang guru menjadi figur sentral yang memiliki nilai spiritualitas yang tinggi; pola relasi orang tua dan anak, di mana guru merupakan figur sentral yang mengayomi anak-anaknya; serta pola relasi patron-client, di mana guru merupakan sumber kekuasaan. Sumber data daripada penelitian ini adalah surat-surat yang terdapat di Surau Baru Mungka, berupa dokumen dan melakukan wawancara dengan guru dan murid yang masih memiliki kaitan dengan suaru Mungka. Adapun metode penelitian ini mempergunakan metode penelitian Sejarah dengan melakukan beberapa tahap. Pertama, heriustik (mengumpulkan sumber). Kedua, kritik sumber (memilih sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder). Ketiga, interpretasi (melakukan penafsiran terhadap sumber-sumber yang ditemukan). Keempat, historiografi (menuliskan kembali dari hasil penelitian).

Research conducted to obtain empirical evidence how the influence of independent variables of intellectual intelligence to accounting with moderating variables of emotional and spiritual intelligence. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with explanatory descriptive or explanatory research. This method is an explanatory research that proves the existence of causal relationship of independent variable (independent variable) that is intellectual intelligence; moderating variable (emotional and spiritual intelligence); and dependent variable (accounted dependent variable). Research begins by conducting library search, followed by primary data collection conducted by using questionnaires and secondary data through data analysis. And for the use of data analysis consists of descriptive analysis, classical assumption test and verification analysis with the method of Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). This study is a census study with homogeneous and limited population of 92 students, all students of Accounting Graduate Program at UNSOED. Conclusion of research result that is: (1) Intellectual intelligence have influence either positively or signifikan to accountancy. Thus intellectual intelligence can lead students to more easily understand accounting, (2) Intellectual intelligence can be strengthened by emotional intelligence on accounting both positively and significantly. (3) Spiritual intelligence can strengthen the influence of intellectual intelligence on accounting both positively and significantly.

<p>The objective of this research was to investigate the history and analyze the style of pottery products of Ban Tao Hai in Phitsanulok province. The research procedure took on documentary study appeared with the stories of pottery products of Ban Tao Hai, and explore pottery products of Ban Tao Hai in the museums and those discovered in Phitsanulok province. Data analysis focused on the history, styles, decorative patterns, and marks or symbols observed. Research result demonstrated that the pottery products of Ban Tao Hai were located in the ancient kiln sites at Ban Tao Hai currently situated in the area of Ta Pakao Hai temple and Ta Pakao Hai school at Hua Raw sub-district, Amphur Muang, Phitsanulok province. It is a cluster of large kilns stacked up and lined up along the Nan River, the kilns with high-technology. The products were either earthenware or large stoneware such as jars, jugs, basins, and bowls. According to the survey and excavation on 2 April 1984 by the regional Office of Fine Arts of Sukhothai and Phitsanulok, a stack of 2 kilns was discovered, i.e. the brick-built crossdraft kilns in similar sizes called Phitsanulok Kiln 1 (PK.1) and Phitsanulok Kiln 2 (PK.2). Ban Tao Hai pottery products that the researcher found were kept in the museum and in the community, altogether 80 pieces. Most of them were not in perfect condition, and only some with perfect condition were in good storage. These 80 pieces were in 6 categories: 1) wide-mouth jar, 16 pieces; 2) flaring-mouth jar, 17 pieces; 3) basin, 2 pieces; 4) round-bottom pot, 3 pieces; 5) jarlet, 33 pieces; and 6) mortar, 9 pieces. Among them, 17 pieces were decorated with applied spiral design (Lai Kod Hoi) so called “Lai Ou”, 27 pieces with excised and impressed designs, and another 36 pieces were undecorated. They comprised 26 glazed and 54 unglazed pieces. One of the unique features of Ban Tao Hai pottery was the marks or symbols made by the potters on the body of workpieces. The study revealed 22 marked and 54 unmarked pieces of pottery.</p>

Abstract: This article explain the effect of controling function by school principal to student disciple. Controling function by school principal consist of determining regulation for student, monitoring of student behavior, and correction action. Data collection using questionair and the sample are students of 3th grade of Publict Senior High School in Mojokerto. The sampling system using proportional random sampling. Data analysis using desciptive analysis and regression. The?é?á research result shows that controling function by school principal is good and student discipline are hight. Controling function by school principal has significant effect to student discipline. The effective contribution of controling function by school principal to student discipline is 7,461 %. Further explation shows that there is no effect of determination of refulation for student to student discipline, there is no effect of behavior monitoring to student discipline, and there is a significant effect of correction action by school principal to student discipline. ?é?á Abstrak: Artikel ini menguraikan pengaruh fungsi pengendalian oleh kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin siswa. Fungsi pengendalian ini meliputi penetapan peraturan bagi siswa, monitoring perilaku siswa, dan tindakan korektif/perbaikan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas 3 SMA Negeri di Kota Mojokerto. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi pengendalian oleh kepala sekolah adalah baik dan disiplin siswa sangat tinggi. Fungsi pengendalian oleh kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap disiplin siswa. Sumbangan efektif fungsi pengendalian oleh kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin siswa sebesar 7,461%. Bila dijabarkan lebih lanjut, maka dapat diketahui bahwa tidak ada pengaruh dari penetapan peraturan terhadap disiplin siswa; tidak ada pengaruh dari monitoring perilaku oleh kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin siswa; dan ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari tindakan korektif/perbaikan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan fakta bahwa aktivitas dan pencapaian siswa pada ilmu-ilmu sosial yang masih rendah. Fakta ini disebabkan oleh, misalnya, penggunaan metode pengajaran yang konvensional oleh guru. Melalui tindakan penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif jenis STAD, ingin posisi siswa di tengah panggung. Hal ini disebut sebagai siswa pusat pembelajaran. Tujuan dari studi adalah untuk menggambarkan peningkatan kegiatan dan prestasi siswa pada ilmu-ilmu sosial yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif jenis STAD. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa, sebagai hasil penelitian, ada kegiatan peningkatan dari 52,8% (siklus pertama) ke dalam 82% (kedua siklus) di sisi guru. Angirovement dibuat dari 68% (siklus saya) ke 93% (siklus II), di samping siswa, peningkatan dari 61% (siklus saya) menjadi 86% (siklus II). Peningkatan prestasi dibuat dari 67,57% (siklus saya) into74, 5% (siklus II). The faet was caused by, for example, the use of conventional teaching method by the teacher.Through action  research of using cooperative learning model of STAD type, the asited wanted to position the students in the center stage. It’s called as students center learning. The purpose of the study was to describe the improvement of the students’ activity and achievement on social studies using cooperative learning of STAD type. The Result of data analysis showed that, as the research result, there was activity improvement from 52,8% (first cycle) into 82% (second cycle) on the side of teacher. The angirovement was from 68% (Cycle I) into 93% (cycle II), on the side of students, the improvement was from 61%(cycle I) into 86% (cycle II). The achievement improvement was from  67,57% (cycle I) into74,5% (cyle II). It can be concluded that the learning of social studies through the use of cooperative learning of  STAD type could improve the students’ activity and achievement at third SD N 16 Tanjung Aur, Padang.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, STAD, Activity

ABSTRACT   This research is aimed to find out the most appropriate propagation method of Siamese Pontianak orange plant vegetatively. This research was done on 31st January 2019 until 31st March 2019 in experimentan garden of Punten, Sidomulyo village, Batu City. The method used in propagation of Siamese Pontianak orange planf vegetatively are insert grafting, side grafting, and top grafting. The research method used is Randomized Block Design (RAK) with non factorial experiment method that consist of 3 level that are insert grafting, side grafting, and top grafting that was repeated 9 times, so that obtained 27 experiment units. Data analysis used is ANNOVA and if there is real difference then it will be further tested using BNT. Parameters that are observed are: growing time of shoots, length of shoots, and the number of leaves. The research result show that insert grafting is an appropriate method in propagation of Siamese Pontianak orange plant with better result growing time of shoots, length of shoots, and number of leaves.   Keywords: Vegetatif Propagation Method, Siamese Pontianak Orange   ABSTRAK   Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode perbanyakan tanaman jeruk Siam Pontianak yang tepat dilaksanakan pada 31 Januari 2019 sampai dengan 31 Maret 2019 di Kebun Percobaan Punten Desa Sidomulyo Kota Batu. Metode yang digunakan dalam perbanyakan tanaman jeruk Siam Pontianak Secara vegetatif yaitu okulasi sisip, sambung samping, dan sambung pucuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan metode percobaan non faktorial yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu okulasi sisip, sambung samping, dan sambung pucuk yang diulang sebanyak 9 kali, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 27 unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa okulasi sisip merupakan metode yang tepat dalam perbanyakan tanaman jeruk Siam Pontianak dengan hasil waktu tumbuh tunas, panjang tunas, dan jumlah daun yang lebih baik.   Kata kunci: Metode Perbanyakan Vegetatif, Jeruk Siam Pontianak

As education systems, Islamic boarding school has several advantages such as teaching religious knowledge, science and various extracurricular activities. Modern Islamic Boarding School of Darussalam GontorInodonesia is a boarding school that has a holistic education system, which is not only educate the academic skill but also educate students in developing entrepreneurship skills. This study aims to determine the effect of joining the business unit to the motivation and ability of entrepreneurship among students. This research used ethnography method with interviews and observations in business units in Darussalam Gontor. The results of this study indicate that Darussalam Gontoris a boarding school which implements 24-hour education system with various activities, such as praying togather, muajjah, learning in class, sports, mahkamatullughohand others. Differences of Darussalam Gontor with other boarding school is because Darussalam Gontor requires senior student to be responsible for business unit, such as Darussalam Press, Wisma Darussalam, La Tansa bookstore and other units. Result of this study shows that after joining the business unit, students become more motivated to develop their own business. Students also get enough knowledge to start a business or become an entrepreneur. The data showed that many alumni who have success become entrepreneurs. The entrepreneur character is heavily influenced by the role of alumni as a student of Darussalam Gontor. The alumni's businesses include production of songkok, ice cream, bookstore, travel agent, garment businessman and others. Keywords: Business unit, education system, entrepreneurship, Islamic boarding school, Islamic education

This study aims to figure how is the dynamic or economic condition change caused by the existence of Islamic tourism of Sunan Kalijaga Tomb to stall sellers who most of them are the locals lives around the Islamic tourism of Sunan Kalijaga tomb. The research method used is descriptive case study method. Where the data collection done by interview and observation. In this research, the informant is the parties involved in the tourism activity, which is the seller, the visitor, and the worker around the Islamic tourism of Sunan Kalijaga tomb, Demak District. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and make a conclusion.The research result suggests that the existence of Islamic tourism of Sunan Kalijaga tomb Demak District brings economical change towards the seller works around.
