ABSTRACTThis thesis discuss about the communication  strategy which have been implemented by public relationsof PLN due to socializing well-targeted electricity subsidy program in West Java. This Well-targetedelectricity subsidy program is a government program which cuts the electricity subsidy for middleincome homes 900—watt customer, where West Java province is ranked the highest in Indonesia. Thegoal of this research is to know the steps of communication strategy which have been implementedby public relations PLN West Java Distribution due to socializing well-targeted electricity subsidy program. This research uses constructivist paradigm, qualitative approach and case-study research strategy. The data were collected by in depth interview and documentation study. The result revealed thatthe public relations of PLN becomes one of the communicator who planned and give the instructions topublic relations of PLN West Java Distribution in socializing well-targeted electricity subsidy program.The communication strategy steps which have been implemented by public relations of PLN due tosocializing well-targeted electricity subsidy program are determined the communicator, recognizes theaudiences, set the method and last selection and media uses. Communication procedure in public service academic at SLBN A Bandung City, Not all public academic know procedure. Some even made difficulties due to the stages that required the West Java Provincial Education Office first. Make a lot of academic public who repeat in making research letters conducted in SLBN A Bandung City. The uniqueness of this case study research lied in (1) the selection of research sites which are schools that provide special education for the visually impaired or previously known as the oldest extraordinary education in Southeast Asia. (2) Public Relations is not optimal in academic public services. (3) lies in a blind person who occupies the Deputy Principal for Public Relations and Advocacy in the SLBN A Bandung City. This study aims to know communication procedures in academic public services, the data in this research with qualitative approach is obtained through observation, in-depth interview, and literature study. The results showed that communication procedures in academic public services have seven procedures including Administration for PPL/PPG/KKN, Letter of Recommendation for the West Java Provincial Education Office for research, Disposition of Principals, Field Schedule Coordination, Conditioning Objects, Public Assistance by the Responsible Person / Teacher and Submitting the Activity Report

Perum Perhutani Divisi Regional Jawa Barat dan Banten merupakan perusahaan atau instansi yang melaksanakan Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal, kegiatan informal tersebut dilakukan oleh Unit Seksi Humas dan Protokoler pada Bidang Ekspert Madya Komunikasi dan Pelaporan. Peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk menetahui bagaimana gambaran impelementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal di Perum Perhutani. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konstruktivisme yang bertujuan untuk memaknai makna-makna yang diungkapkan informan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara utuh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, karena penulis ingin mengetahi aspek “how” dan “why”yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik setiap manusia dengan cara berinteraksi secara langsung dan mendalam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal tersebut menggunakan konsep POAC yaitu perencanaan (Planning), pengorganisasian (Organizing), pelaksanaan (Actuating), dan pengawasan (Controling), sehingga dalam kegiatan informal di Perum Perhutani menerapkan atau mengimplementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal tersebut dengan sebaik mungkin. Implementasi yang tercipta di Perum Perhutani dapat menciptakan kenyamanan, merasa dihargai dalam melaksanakan setiap pekerjaan, sehingga dapat dipahami pula bahwa implementasi Human Relations melalui kegiatan informal di Perum Perhutani telah dilaksanakan dengan baik sehingga dapat menciptakan serta meningkatan produktivitas dalam bekerja. Perum Perhutani Regional Division of West Java and Banten is a company or agency that carries out Human Relations through informal activities, informal activities are carred out by the Public Relations and protocol section unit in the field of experts in intermediate communication and reporting. Researchers are interested in doing this research with the aim to find out how the descripyion of Human Relations implementation through informal activities in Perhutani Public Division West Java and Banten Regional Division through the concept of POAC from planning, organizing, implementing to monitoring (controlling) the activity. The paradigm used in this study is contructivism which aims to interpret the meanings expressed by informants. The approach used is a qualitative approach that aims to understand the phenomenon experienced by the research subject in its entirety. The method used in this study is a case study, because the author wants to know the “how” and “why” aspects that aim to find out the caracteristics of each human being by interacting directly and deeply. Based on the results of the study showed that the implementation of Human Relations throught informal activities using the consept of POAC namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, so that in informal activities in the Perhutani public corporate to implement Human Relations throught informal activites as well as possibl. The implementation created in Perum Perhutani can create comfort, feel valued in carrying out every job, so that it can be understood also that the implementation of Human Relations throught informal activites in Perum Perhutani has been carried out properly so as to create and improve productivity in work.

This study titled “Crisis Management Public Relations of PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek on Handling KRL Cross Accident September 2015” the problem of the research is the management crisis, crisis management strategy efforts to crisis, the role when crisis that is enforceable by the division of Public Relations PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek (KCJ) in resolving the crisis accident of 2 KRL at Juanda Station. This research uses the Gonzales-Herero and Pratt crises method management who analogous a crisis like the stages of life.This research used qualitative case study research accompanied by descriptive exposure. The data was obtained through direct observation, interviews and literature studies, while the informants in this research was Assistant Communication Manager PT KCJ and Public Relations Manager of the Central Bank Republic of Indonesia West Java Province as the source triangulation.The results of this study shows that crisis management conducted by PT KCJ has been carried out starting from the victims evacuation, evacuation of the damaged wagon train, the recovery location of the accident, to the process of health settlement costs for the victims of accident.  Keywords: Crisis Management, KRL Cross Accident, PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek, Public Relations, Gonzales-Herero and Pratt Method

This study aims to  examine and find out the implementation of Permendagri No. 113 of 2014 in Ngesrepbalong Village, Limbangan, Kendal Regency and  analyze the obstacles faced by village officials in its implementation.This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research strategy. Data obtained through interviews and documentation studies.The results of the study show the Implementation of Permendagri No. 113 of 2014 in Ngesrepbalong Village can generally be seen from the following findings: Fund allocation is not appropriate in accordance with the provisions;  There is a discrepancy between the list of program activities that have been agreed upon in the village meeting with the details of the activities contained in the RKP table; There is an RKP that does not include a discussion on the evaluation of the previous year's financial use;  in the aspect of transparency, the Village Government has implemented it by informing the allocation of funds and the development of their use on information boards in the village office. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengetahui implementasi Permendagri No 113 tahun 2014 di Desa Ngesrepbalong Kecamatan Limbangan Kabupaten Kendal dan menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi aparatur desa dalam pelaksanaannya.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan strategi penelitian studi kasus. Data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Implementasi Permendagri No 113 tahun 2014 di Desa Ngesrepbalong dapat dilihat dari temuan berikut ini:  Pengalokasian dana tidak tepat sesuai dengan ketentuan; Adanya ketidaksesuaian antara daftar program kegiatan yang telah disepakai dalam musyawarah desa dengan rincian kegiatan yang ada dalam tabel RKP; Terdapat RKP yang tidak mencantumkan pembahasan mengenai evaluasi penggunaan keuangan tahun sebelumnya; pada aspek trasnparansi, Pemerintah Desa telah melaksanakannya dengan menginformasikan pengalokasian dana dan perkembangan penggunaannya pada papan informasi di kantor desa.

Conflicts between engineers and technicians in maintenance departments of hotels can be impacted on both individual and organizational performance either constructively or destructively. Generally, the destructive impacts of conflicts on organizational performance are severe than constructive impacts. Therefore, understanding the nature of the major conflicts between engineers and technicians in maintenance departments is significant to provide high- quality maintenance services within hotel facilities to deliver the best hospitality services to foreign and local guests. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the nature of existing major conflicts between engineers and technicians in the maintenance departments of Sri Lankan hotel facilities. A qualitative approach was adopted by using the case study research strategy (five nr of cases) and empirical data was collected via two expert interviews in each case, and document review within selected cases. Manual content analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study revealed that 13 existence major conflicts between engineers and technicians in maintenance departments of Sri Lankan hotel facilities were based on seven conflict categories with comparing the literature findings.

<p><em>This study discusses the communication strategy in learning Aqidah Akhlaq to foster humanistic values and spiritualistic intelligence of learners in religious Elementary School  Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 1 Yogyakarta. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method. Data were collected by in-depth interview, observation, and documentation, then analysed by interactive model. The results of this study revealed that communication strategy to cultivate the values of humanistic spirituality in MIN 1 Yogyakarta includes 3 three kinds: teachers as a compelling speaker, teachers as less effective preachers, and teachers as moderators.</em></p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian ini membahas strategi komunikasi dalam pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlaq untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai humanistik dan kecerdasan spiritualistik peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar Agama Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa strategi komunikasi untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai spiritualitas humanistik di MIN 1 Yogyakarta meliputi 3 tiga jenis: guru sebagai pembicara yang meyakinkan, guru sebagai pengkhotbah yang kurang efektif, dan guru sebagai moderator.</p><p><strong> </strong></p>

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Corporate Social Responsibility program conducted by Public Relations at PT Wijaya Karya in shaping a positive corporate image. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the case study research method. A qualitative approach was taken to find out the perspective of the object of research more deeply and be able to get to know the person (subject) personally and see them develop their own definition of this world and be able to feel what they experienced in the struggle with everyday society. The strategy of the Corporate Social Responsibility program conducted by PT. Wijaya Karya consists of 4 WIKA pillars. Overall, the Corporate Social Responsibility program conducted by PT. Wijaya Karya has a role in shaping a positive company image because the activities carried out are very beneficial and sustainable. In addition, the communication that exists between the company and the community is very good in Corporate Social Responsibility activities so that the community gives a positive response to the project carried out by PT. Wijaya Karya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi program Corporate Social Responsibility yang dilakukan Public Relations di PT Wijaya Karya dalam membentuk citra perusahaan yang positif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan untuk mengetahui cara pandang objek penelitian lebih mendalam dan dapat mengenal orang (subjek) secara pribadi dan melihat mereka mengembangkan definisi mereka sendiri tentang dunia ini dan dapat merasakan apa yang mereka alami dalam pergulatan dengan masyarakat sehari-hari. Strategi program Corporate Social Responsibility yang dilakukan PT. Wijaya Karya terdiri dari 4 pilar WIKA. Secara keseluruhan program Corporate Social Responsibility yang dilakukan PT. Wijaya Karya berperan dalam pembentukan citra perusahan yang positif karen kegiatan yang dilakukan sangat bermanfaat dan berkelanjutan. Selain itu, komunikasi yang terjalin antara perusahaan dan masyarakat sangat baik dalam kegiatan Corporate Social Responsibility sehingga masyarakat memberikan respon yang positif terhadap proyek yang dilakukan oleh PT. Wijaya Karya.

West Java is the province with the largest number of local television. The existence of broadcasting institutions should be submitted to the public by KPID West Java to fulfill the public's right. The media literacy socialization using Twitter to West Java people is done to to strengthen the existence of broadcasting institutions. The author uses a case study research method. The author has made a direct observation and recording systematically on the socialization of media literacy, the process of field observation during socialization, the programs undertaken to encourage media literacy movement during the research conducted the whole program which distributed to the community in KPID West Java Twitter. The function of Twitter's is to realize the media literacy program by aligning communication, transparency, KPID West Java activities information that have the ultimate goal to strengthen the public relations of viewers / listeners with KPID West Java. Keywords: KPID West Java, Media Literacy, Twitter

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the forms and factors that influence social interaction between students of different religions at the Islamic University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari Banjarmasin. This research uses a qualitative approach, with the type of case study research. The data in this study were extracted through in-depth interview techniques. observation, and documentation. Then the data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that social interaction between Muslim and non-Muslim students was well adapted, their adaptive attitude would result in a desire to cooperate and help each other for the same goal, which is a cooperative associative social process, and this cooperative associative social process shapes their attitude to mutual respect for differences in beliefs which is an accommodative associative social process. Social interaction between students of different religions at UNISKA is influenced by religious learning and Islamic campus culture.

Hoax management is a significant factor in maintaining government stability. Public Relations is necessary to respond and manage current developing issues, especially during the current era of information. Public satisfaction is dependant on how the government manages issues and ultimately increase public trust. This research employed the qualitative approach, i.e., case study research method, which describes researches carried out intensively in great detail and depth. The data were collected through unstructured observations, interviews, and documentation. This research investigated the Communication Excellence Theory proposed by Grunig and Hunt, which illustrate the symbolic processes of understanding human behaviour within an organisation. This research also studied how the concept of public relations strategies is implemented in solving the cases mentioned in this study. The results of the analysis found that, for the Presidential Staff Office, social media was essential in establishing an effective government public relations as well as to manage public issues.
