Character education is very influential with the creation of the character of an individual or student. The early age is a very critical age to build individual character. Instill to the young generation of what it means to be good citizens that is they show their pride and love  of the country. The inculcation of the character of love for the country through national songs is considered as one of the appropriate media to foster a sense of love for the country. Simple song lyrics are easily understood by children so that the meaning of national song lyrics can be conveyed to students, can bring out a high sense of love for the country, national spirit, and build  the nationalism character. The focus of this research is how to educate the character of love for the country through the national song at SDN 02 Rejosari. The purpose of this research is to find out how the character education of the love of the country through the national song at SDN 02 Rejosari Semarang. This type of research is qualitative research, using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of VI class who were randomly selected. The results showed that character education for the love of the country through the national song has been implemented at SDN 02 Rejosari. The inculcation of the value of character education for the love of the country through habituation to singing the national song. The habit of singing and understanding the meaning of national song lyrics can influence students by carrying out behaviors / actions that reflect to the love of the country in daily life.

Character education is very important to be implemented in daily life. This is because of the problems which occur in this country. The character of the young generation is at a very critical point. The morality of this country is out of norms, ethics, religion and modest culture. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the local wisdom-based value education model in the Sundanese Wiwitan community to improve the students’ character in SMAN 1 Kawali Ciamis, Indonesia. This research was conducted using the R&D (Research and Development) The steps of the R&D research method are (a) potential and problems, (b) data collection, (c) product design, (d) design validation, (e) design usage, (f) trial use, (g) product revision, (h) trial run, (i) product revision, (j) mass product manufacturing. The results showed that by using the local wisdom-based value education model in Sunda Wiwitan community in Susuru sub village, Kertajaya Village, Panawangan, was very effective and feasible to be applied through integration in historical learning so that the students were able to have the following character values: religious, social, mutual cooperation, tolerance, and care for the environment to be implemented in school, family, and community life.Keywords: Value Education, Local Wisdom, Sunda Wiwitan, CharacterABSTRAKPendidikan karakter sangat penting untuk diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, hal ini karena adanya problem yang menimpa bangsa ini. Karakter generasi muda sudah berada pada titik yang sangat mengkhawatirkan. Moralitas bangsa ini sudah lepas dari norma, etika, agama, dan budaya luhur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pendidikan nilai berbasis kearifan lokal pada masyarakat penganut kepercayaan Sunda Wiwitan untuk meningkatkan karakter siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Kawali Ciamis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode R&D (Reasearchand Development) dimana metode ini menekankan pada produk akhir yang dihasilkan dari penelitian. Adapun langkah-langkah metode penelitian R&D adalah (a) potensi dan masalah, (b) pengumpulan data, (c) desain produk, (d) validasi desain, (e) pemakaian desain, (f) ujicoba pemakaian, (g) revisiproduk, (h) uji coba pemakaian, (i) revisi produk, (j) pembuatan produk masal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pendidikan nilai berbasis kearifan lokal pada masyarakat penganut kepercayaan Sunda Wiwitan di Dusun Susuru Desa Kertajaya Kecamatan Panawangan, sangat efektif dan layak untuk diterapkan melalui integrasi dalam pembelajaran sejarah sehingga siswa mampu memiliki nilai-nilai karakter sebagai berikut: religius, sosial, gotong royong, toleransi, dan peduli terhadap lingkungan untuk diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat.Kata kunci : Pendidikan Nilai, Kearifan Lokal, Sunda Wiwitan, Karakter

Character is a matter that needs attention in the world of education. Character is a system that underlies a person's thoughts and behavior. So, it can be said that without a strong foundation of character values ​​will make education and the fragility of the young generation of a nation low. In general, this study aims to find and disclose planning, implementation, organizing, evaluating, constraints and solutions in overcoming the constraints of character education implementation. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research design with multi cases of research conducted at two institutions, namely at SDI Raudlatul Jannah Sidoarjo and SD Al-Hikmah Surabaya in a management review with the characteristics of different research objects. The results of the study found SDI Raudlatul Jannah Sidoarjo and Al-Hikmah Elementary School Surabaya, both of them together form a character education program by carrying out stages of management functions effectively. The effectiveness of the planning is evident from the stages of the planning process carried out by the school by preparing a strategic plan for character education

Background: The existence of literature among the younger generation is increasingly difficult to detect. Meanwhile, literature plays an important role in character education as well as the existence of bahasa Indonesia as the national language. One form of literature whose popularity is declining is poetry. Using poems as song lyrics is a new way to deliver poetry. Aim: This study aims to determine the essence of poetries application as Indonesian pop song lyrics on the spread of literature. Methods: The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with an open questionnaire data collection method and interview. The population is Faculty of Humanities (FIB) of Universitas Airlangga students from the cohort of 2019-2021. The sample was taken using a random sampling technique with the number 40 respondents for the questionnaire and 14 participants for the interview. For the questionnaire, the respondents were asked to interpret three lyric snippets of popular pop songs in Indonesia. The purpose of the questionnaire was to measure the respondent's level of understanding of the song lyrics so that conclusions could be drawn. The data analysis method was done using the classification technique, which was grouping the answers from the questionnaire into four categories, namely: 1). completely understand, 2). somewhat understand, 3). do not quite understand, and 4). do not understand at all. Results: The results show that the use of poetry as song lyrics has an effect on increasing respondents' literary understanding. Recommendation: Younger generation should utilize songs as media for dissemination as well as learning literature, especially poetry. Limitation: However, further in-depth research is needed due to the limitations of this study. The respondents and participants involved are still restricted to FIB students from Universitas Airlangga, hence the resulting data does not represent the young generation from all over Indonesia.

AbstrakFokus artikel ini mendeskripsikan pendidikan anak usia dini dalam keluarga Melayu  kabupaten Sambas yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Kearifan lokal mendidik anak dalam masyarakat Melayu Sambas diantaranya: Pendidikan melalui cerita rakyat, pendidikan karakter anak melalui pantang larang, dan mendidik anak melalui lingkungan alam. Pendidikan anak usia dini berbasis kearifan lokal dalam keluarga Melayu Sambas sudah berlangsung lama dan secara turun-menurun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Early childhood education based on local wisdom in Sambas Malay families has been going on for a long time and has been descreasing in daily life. <p><strong><em>Abstract </em></strong></p><p><em>The objectives of the research were: (1) to describe the implementation of character education through 5 habits in SD Negeri 1 Kutosari, (2) to describe the implication of character values about 5 habits in SD Negeri 1 Kutosari, (3) to analyze the obstacles and solutions in implementing 5 habits in SD Negeri 1 Kutosari. The research used descriptive qualitative research. Type of data was qualitative data. The researcher described the analysis of character education implementation through 5 habits. Data collection techniques included observations, interviews, and qualitative questionnaires. The data validity technique was triangulation of source. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that the implementation of 5 habits and the implementation of character values at school run well while the obstacle was the students failed to implement 5 habits at home. It affected the implementation of 5 habits at school.  The solution was the teachers supervised and managed the students to implement 5 habits consistently in daily life. It concludes that the implementation of character education through 5 habits run very well</em><em> with cumulative presentation 96,2%</em><em> and the obstacle was handled by the teachers.</em></p>

Tujuan tulisan ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam meminimalisir terjadinya bencana sosial. Dalam perjalanan panjang sejarah bangsa Indonesia, diuraikan secara jelas bahwa negara Indonesia dibangun atas adanya perbedaan suku bangsa, budaya, adat istiadat dan agama. Keberagaman ini rentan untuk terjadinya bencana sosial. Ketegangan sosial dan konflik horisontal serta teror masih acapkali terjadi. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan nilai dan karakter Pancasila menyiapkan generasi muda menjadi warga negara Pancasilais yang cinta tanah air, mempunyai sikap untuk membela negara dan siap berkorban demi keutuhan bangsa dan negara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif terhadap realitas yang ada dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan kebenaran ilmiah yang alamiah dengan melakukan penafsiran terhadap fenomena sosial dalam bentuk studi literatur. Dari hasil kajian literatur didapat bahwa revitalisasi epistemologis Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dapat menguatkan karakter bangsa untuk meminimalisir terjadinya bencana sosial.This paper is intended to find out how is the role of Civic Education in minimizing the social disasters. In the history of Indonesia’s struggle, it is clearly explained that the state of Indonesia is built on the differences in ethnicity, culture, customs and religion. This diversity is vulnerable to social disasters. Terror, social tensions and horizontal conflicts among groups or communities still occur frequently. Civic Education as character education based on Pancasila values prepares young generation to become Pancasilais citizens who love the motherland, have attitudes to defend the country and are ready to sacrifice for the integrity of the nation and state of Indonesia. The research method used is a type of qualitative research that is descriptive towards the existing reality with the purpose of obtaining natural scientific truths by interpreting social phenomenon in the form of literature review. From the results of the literature study it was found that the epistemological revitalization of Civic Education can strengthen the nation's character in order to minimize the social disasters.

The importance of cultivating children's character from an early age in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 as it is today through Bidaya schools because this aims to create a young generation who is superior, intelligent, competent, quality, has responsibility and has good character according to the ideals of the nation in facing every era which keeps changing. For that we need special ways / steps in building character in early childhood. Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Azhar Citangkolo, Banjar City is very important to offer a character education model through a superior school culture. The research method used in this study is qualitative with 15 children as the research subjects. Collecting data through interviews, and observations, and documentation. The results showed that in building children's character in Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Azhar Citangkolo, Banjar City, West Java, the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 could be done through school culture, namely by instilling habituation and exemplary by teachers, schools and parents at home to children include: 1) instilling an attitude of honesty to children, 2) instilling an attitude of responsibility in children, 3) instilling discipline in children, 4) instilling cooperation

Globalization is a phenomenon where the world seems small while the interaction and interdependence among all countries in the world gets more intensive including Indonesia. Beside leading to positive effect, this circumstance also causes negative impact such as national disintegration threats. Those threats relate to many foreign ideologies and cultures entering to Indonesia so the values of Indonesian ideologies became degradable. The emerging threats and interferences are mostly based on ideologiesandreligioninthesakeofpeople’sprosperity.Therecentconditionrequires the importance of revitalizing the values of ideology and culture of Indonesia that can be conducted through national-religious character education which has been induced to people since their childhood one of which through Islamic boarding school. The research was conducted in SMP NU 06 Kedungsuren, Kaliwungu Selatan District, Kendal Regency, Central Java Province. The purpose of this research is to develop the model of inducing nationalist-religious character education in Islamic boarding school that can be applied as a media to decrease or suppress the radicalism threats among young generation. This recent study belongs to qualitative research using R&D research design conducted by applying observation, documentation and interview to the students, teacher, head of foundation, and the principal to find out the educational processinIslamicboardingschool.Afterthat,thebaseofdataandmodelwerecreated. The result of this research is a model of inducing the appropriate nationalist-religious character education implemented in Islamic boarding school.

Over the past few years, the government has given a spesific attention to the character education due to its main purpose to develop good and right behaviour for the students since their early age. To achieve this, one of them is through education. In Bali, according to the concept of its society, education is translated by local values in a simple way, such as learning while travelling, learning while singing, learning while playing a game and so on. The Balinese folklore (Satua) is an implementation of Hindu values which give an understanding on conscience and behaviour to the children since early age. This research is a qualitative research using the hermeneutics method. Bali has many literary heritages which are full of the value of character education, one of them is Satua Bali. Among the many Satua that are available, Satua that will be used is Satua I Nengah Tinggen's with titled Anak Agung di Mesir. He is one of the Balinese literary maestros. The study of this folklore refers to six pillars of character proposed by SD Westwood, covers trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, caring, citizenship, and fairness. It can be concluded that Satua is somewhat effectively used as a character education media because it contains the values ​​of character education needed for the nation's character development and can be taught early with Satua.

Abstract. To get something that attracts oneself and others on social media, the choice of words must be used appropriately in expressing the ideas or things mandated. Therefore, a person must have the ability to distinguish precisely the nuances of meaning in accordance with the ideas to be conveyed, and the ability to find forms that are appropriate to the situation and the sense of value of his client. This article aims to find out the role of choosing the right words in activities or daily life in an effort to motivate yourself and others. The writing of this article uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the choice of words on social media is very important to motivate yourself and others, the selection of the right words when giving advice will influence in encouraging people to learn from mistakes they have experienced and become better personal than ever before. In the end, this article is able to contribute knowledge to the character education knowledge, especially the development of self-motivation in everyday life.
