The purpose of the article is to investigate the armed and ideological struggle of the OUN and UPA against the Soviet administration in the Kamin-Kashyrskyi district in the period from 1944 to 1945. The research methodology is based on the use of general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis and generalization) in combination with the principles of historicism, objectivity and systematics. The work uses source analysis, methods of classification and critique of sources and their identification. The scientific novelty of the work is that for the first time in historiography the question of generalization and systematization of scientific facts on the confrontation between the OUN and the UPA in the Kamin-Kashyrskyi district is raised. Eyewitness accounts and scientific materials that shed light on the confrontation between the nationalist underground and the local Soviet administration during this period are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. Conclusions. Based on the available scientific information, the author concludes that the confrontation between the OUN and the UPA and the Soviet administration in the Kamin-Kashyrskyi district was an important stage in the underground struggle in the future. The confrontation in 1944–1945 had important military results for the nationalist underground. However, during the research the author concluded that the aspect of the ideological struggle of the OUN and UPA against the Soviet administration needs more detailed analysis and research.

Research methodology. The following methods were used in this research: general scientific methods (descriptive, analysis, synthesis, comparison) and special (structural, hermeneutic, narrative, method of content analysis). We identified words related to the concept of the enemy and determined the context in which they are used by the authors of the collections Results. The formats of reflection of military reality in collections of military documentaries are investigated. It is emphasized that the authors-observers of events as professional communicators form a vision of events based on categories understandable to the audience – «own» and «others». Instead, the authors-participants go events have more creative space and pay more attention to their own emotional state and reflections. It is defined how the enemy is depicted and what place he occupies in the military reality represented by the authors. It is emphasized that the authors reflect the enemy in different ways. In particular, the authors-observers of the events tried to form a comprehensive vision of the events, and therefore paid much attention to the opposite side of the military conflict. Authors-participants of the events tend to show the enemy as a mass to be opposed. In such collections, the enemy is specified only in the presence of evidence confirming the presence of Russians or militants. Novelty. The research for the first time investigates the methods of representation of mi­litary activity in the collections of Ukrainian military documentaries. The article is devoted to the analysis of how the authors represent the enemy. Practical importance. The analysis of collections of military documentaries will allow to study the phenomenon of war and to trace the peculiarities of the authors’ representation of military reality.

The article is devoted to the study of the life and literary heritage of one of the significant creative figures in the Kabardian literature of the 60s – 80s. Of the twentieth century, which determined the features of the formation and development trends of national prose of the specified period. The relevance of the stated topic is due to the fact that until now in the Adygeyan literary criticism there are no generalizing works on the study of milestones in the biography and a comprehensive analysis of the literary work of A. Naloev. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time a comprehensive substantive and structural-compositional analysis of the writer's works is carried out, starting from the first sketches in the form of miniatures and satirical and humorous stories, ending with larger genres – a story and a novel. The aim of the study is to recreate a complete biographical and creative picture of the life of a talented writer, philologist, educator, educator who raised a whole generation of artists and workers of culture and education. To achieve the goal, a number of tasks are solved, among the main ones – the study of the milestones of the biography of A. Naloev, the analysis of works, the consideration of the ideological and thematic orientation and the genre-style paradigm of the writer's work, determination of the role and place of his creative heritage in national literature and in general in cultural development Adyghe ethnos. The study used general scientific methods with an emphasis on the method of analysis, description and generalization. The results obtained have theoretical significance for further study of national literatures. They can become a significant practical help in writing various kinds of research papers, as well as in the preparation of special courses in universities and colleges.

Since the beginning of the XXI century, the amount of available for the researchers numismatic material has increased significantly, so introducing a new types of coins into the scientific circulation has become an especially relevant in modern numismatics, even when the archaeological context of most of these finds is almost lost. The study of ancient numismatics of Olbia is rapidly gaining in modern Ukraine. At the beginning of the XX century, ancient numismatics already had some significant achievements, but the accumulated material required urgent cataloging and systematization. During last 10 years since the publication of the most important and thorough catalog of ancient coins by Vladlen Opanasovich Anokhin, as well as the results of cataloging Olbia coins by other researchers - Valery Nechitaylo and Grigory Makandarov, numismatics has been enriched by new previously unknown coin types. The aim of the study. The main purpose of the article is to introduce into the scientific circulation new varieties of Olbia coins and to compile the most complete classification of Olbia coins of the IV century BC. Research methodology. In the process of scientific elaboration of the topic general scientific methods were used: analytical, chronological, and topographical, as well as source methods: critical, metrological and iconographic. A systematic approach to the processing of modern finds from private collections and access to the collections of foreign museums was the impetus for writing an expanded classification work. The scientific novelty. The value of the processed materials is that they not only complement this group of coins, but also refine previously published types in unsatisfactory condition, where incorrect reading of the names and trinkets has led to inaccuracies. The Conclusions. The so-called «obol series» covers the period of the Olbia minting around 350-330 BC. The monetary system consists of four denominations: obol (on the coin field depicts Demeter and the eagle on the dolphin), dikhalk (on the coin field depicts Demeter and the eagle on the dolphin), hulk (on the coin field depicts Demeter and the ear, dolphin) and hemihalk (depicts Demeter and dolphin). The die analysis allowed to divide the coins of Olbia of the IV century BC senior denomination for two stylistic groups. According to the results of our own research, we were able to determine the following number of varieties of each of these denominations: obols – 24 types, dikhalks - 6 types, hulks - 6 types, hemihalks - 2 types. We see the prospect of further research in the introduction into scientific circulation of new previously undiscovered varieties of Olbian coins from little-studied sources - materials of museum collections in Ukraine and abroad, among numismatic rarities sold at numismatic auctions and private collections.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the method of reconstruction as one of the general scientific methods of criminology used in the investigation of crimes. The subject of research is the method of reconstruction in forensic science. The research methodology includes the use of general scientific and special methods of scientific cognition: dialectical, historical and legal, formal and logical, comparative and legal, logical, system and structural methods, method of generalization. Research results. General scientific methods of criminology and their significance for crime investigation are considered. Reconstruction as a type of modeling method and its place in the system of forensic methods is defined. The signs of reconstruction and its features distinguishing from modeling are analyzed. The variants of reconstruction and their features are given. Practical meaning. The concept of reconstruction as an independent method of crime investigation and its implementation in the system of investigative (search) actions are proposed. Value / originality. Emphasis is placed on the need for further study of reconstruction as a special method of investigating crimes.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the structural and semantic features of metaphor in the Olga Kobylyanska’s artistic discourse. The relevance of the article is determined by the need of further in-depth study of Olga Kobylyanskaya idiostyle in order to form a cognitive-pragmatic conception of the writer's artistic discourse.  The novelty of scientific work is due to the fact that the cognitive nature of metaphor in the language of the O. Kobylyanska’s works is studied for the first time. Research methods. In the article as the main general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis are used, as well as linguistic – descriptive, structural and comparative and historical methods. Conclusions. Olga Kobylyanska's artistic discourse is characterized by the convergence of linguistic means, in particular, her works are full of metaphors of different nature. We recorded one-word and multi-words metaphors. One-word metaphors are dominated by addresses. In multi-words metaphors the semantic load falls on one of the components of the syntactic construction. Many metaphors describe the mental state of human. Often the metaphor is complemented by comparison, inversion, oxymoron etc. In creating of metaphorical constructions the writer uses the following images: soul, heart (to convey the psycho-emotional state of the characters), bread (to denote the property status), lilies (means pure girl’s love), dirty spot (to denote difficult memories), the sun in souls (to depict joyful events). Metaphors contain a number of verbs used figuratively. We distinguish metaphors formed on the basis of interparadigmatic transferred meanings, which come from the artistic (sculpture), musical, theatrical, sacred, financial spheres.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the representation’s report of the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic in Prague on the attitude of the president of Czechoslovakia T. G. Masaryk to the Ukrainian question. The research methodology is based on the research principles of historicism, scientificity, objectivity, general scientific methods (source analysis, historical and logical) and special historical methods (narrative and problem-chronological). The scientific novelty of the work is that the article on the basis of archival and published materials, in particular, the letters of the heads of the representation of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic in Prague to the foreign ministers of the state, analyzes the attitude of the first president of Czechoslovakia to the Ukrainian question. Conclusions. Masaryk’s attitude to the Ukrainian question is considered in the context of establishing relations between Czechoslovakia and the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic in late 1918 – early 1919, the desire of ones in 1920-1923 to gain the support of Prague in ensuring the recognition of the Entente countries the independence of this state, discussion of the case of assisting for Ukrainian emigrants in Czechoslovakia. In the article were noted the changes in the position of the Czechoslovak president in the Ukrainian question. In his work «New Europe» (1918), he supported the idea of the uniting of the Dnieper region, Eastern Galicia and Bukovina considering it necessary to preserve it as part of the federal democratic Russian state. In early 1919 president of the Czechoslovak Republic was ready to recognize the independence of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, which was revived during the anti-Hetman uprising. But made the final decision dependent on the position of the Entente states at the peace conference in Paris. The coverage of the perception of the Ukrainian question by T. G. Masaryk in 1920-1921 by the representatives of the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic in Prague testifies to his return to the concept set forth in the work «New Europe». Reports from representatives of the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic allow a more complete study of the circumstances that made it impossible for it to gain political support from Czechoslovakia. Given this, as well as the issues of the Czechoslovak Republic’s policy in Transcarpathia and on emigration were raised in the reports of the representation, these documents are an important source for studying the history of Czechoslovak-Ukrainian relations.

The purpose of the study is to carry out theoretical and methodological analysis and determine conceptual and terminological apparatus of professional training of future specialists in hotel and restaurant business. Methods. We carried out scientific and research tasks on the analysis of the terminological apparatus of the research; systematization and determination of components of the methodical system of professional training of future specialists in hotel and restaurant business in higher education establishments with the help of general scientific methods: theoretical – analysis of psychological and pedagogical sources, theoretical analysis, system analysis, systematization and generalization of scientific facts and patterns to design a model of methodological system of professional training of future specialists in hotel and restaurant business. General scientific methodological approaches (systemic, situational, complex) were used.Results. Based on the analysis of scientific works of Ukrainian scientists, a theoretical and methodological analysis was carried out and the conceptual and terminological apparatus of professional training of future specialists in hotel and restaurant business was determined through designing a conceptual model and determining methodological principles of the above process. Methodical system based on the unity of mutually determined components to ensure its effectiveness as a whole was modeled, it projects the possibility of its further improvement. Five components of the methodical system of professional training of future specialists in hotel and restaurant business are determined, namely: theoretical-target, methodological-conceptual, content-procedural, realization-technological and analytical-effective. Conclusions. Theoretical and methodological analysis of the researched problem made it possible to generalize and single out the main components of the methodical system of professional training of future specialists in hotel and restaurant business, as well as to determine the dynamic relationship between them.Key words: professional training, future specialists in hotel and restaurant business, methodic system. Мета дослідження полягає у здійсненні теоретико-методологічного аналізу та визначенні поняттєво-термінологічного апарату професійної підготовки майбутніх фахівців готельно-ресторанної справи, розгляді концептуальних моделей і методичних засад його проєктування, висвітленні власної методичної системи означеного вище процесу. Методи. Виконано науково-дослідницькі завдання щодо аналізу термінологічного апарату дослідження; систематизації й визначення складників методичної системи професійної підготовки майбутніх фахівців готельно-ресторанної справи в закладах вищої освіти за допомогою загальнонаукових методів: теоретичних – аналізу науково-педагогічних джерел із проблеми дослідження для уточнення базового поняттєво-термінологічного апарату, установлення концептуальних засад дослідження; теоретичного аналізу, системного аналізу, систематизації та узагальнення наукових фактів і закономірностей для розроблення і проєктування моделі методичної системи професійної підготовки майбутніх фахівців готельно-ресторанної справи у ЗВО, обґрунтування основних висновків і положень. Здійснення дослідження стало можливим за використання загальнонаукових методологічних підходів (системного, ситуаційного, комплексного). Результати. На основі аналізу наукових праць українських учених здійснено теоретико-методологічний аналіз та визначено поняттєво-термінологічний апарат професійної підготовки майбутніх фахівців готельно-ресторанної справи через проєктування концептуальної моделі та визначення методичних засад означеного вище процесу. Змодельовано методичну систему, котра базується на єдності взаємно детермінованих складників для забезпечення її результативності в цілому, проектує можливість подальшого її вдосконалення. Визначено п’ять складників методичної системи професійної підготовки майбутніх фахівців готельно-ресторанної справи а саме: теоретико-цільовий, методологічно-концептуальний, змістово-процесуальний, реалізаційно-техологічний та аналітико-результативний. Висновки. У результаті теоретико-методологічного аналізу досліджуваної проблеми стало можливим узагальнення й виокремлення основних складників методичної системи професійної підготовки майбутніх фахівців готельно-ресторанної справи, а також означення динамічного взаємозв’язку між ними. The purpose of the article is to analyze the creative personality of Mykola Hobdych, to consider the directions of his multifaceted activity for 30 years, to confirm the significant contribution of the artist to the revival of the national choral art of Ukraine, to draw the attention of musicologists to the study of the creative work of the master of choral performance. Methodology. Historical and general scientific methods were used in the analysis of the choral movement in Ukrainian society during the period of state independence, the comparative method revealed a significant contribution of the Kyiv Chamber Choir to the revival of national traditions of spiritual singing, the systematic method was used to assess the activity of the choir leader Gobdich. The scientific novelty is that for the first time M. Hobdych's creative interaction with such modern composers as Lesya Dychko, Viktor Stepurko, Myroslav Skoryk, Romuald Tvardovsky, Valentyn Silvestrov was noted, the importance of his organizational, publishing, and scientific activity was emphasized. Conclusions. At the turn of the XX and XXI centuries, the flourishing of spiritual choral creativity is strongly connected with the creative activity of M. Hobdych and the Kyiv Chamber Choir, as the founders of the International Festival "Golden-Domed Kyiv", which was able to revive the links between past and present. M. Hobdych's creative activity as a choirmaster. arranger, editor, and cultural figure deserves the more meticulous attention of musicologists.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the main milestones of life, stages of cultural and artistic activities and reveal the personality of Samuel Franklin Cody - a representative of show business and professional art showman of the late nineteenth - early twentieth century. Methodology. A number of scientific search methods have been used. The biographical method became optimal for revealing the main stages of the showman's life. The study is also based on methodological tools integrated with culturology, history, art history. General scientific methods are used - analysis, synthesis, and principles of scientific analysis - reliability, impartiality, etc. Scientific novelty. For the first time in Ukrainian science, in particular art history, an attempt was made to analyze the life, artistic activity, and significance of showman Samuel Franklin Cody. Conclusions. Samuel Francis Cody is the most famous showman, creator of the show "Wild West" and author of large kites Cody War-Kites, which could lift people. In S.-F. Cody, no doubt, was an innate talent of the showman, which was supported by certain traits - courage, openness to the new, impartiality, activity, generosity, adventurism, etc. The first role is played by the brightness of the image, the diversity of talents, the desire to create, entertain the audience, and be in the center of its attention. Without exaggeration, as a pioneer in today's popular show business S.-F. Cody can be considered the most talented person of his time, who saw far ahead and played a significant role in the formation of world show business, the profession of the showman, and the whole socio-cultural reality.

The purpose of the article is to trace and find out the peculiarities of the creative path of the Honored Artist of Ukraine, winner of international contests, Professor Oleksandr Petrovich Kolosok, highlighting his activities as an artist of the dance group of G. Veryovka Honored Ukrainian Folk Choir. Research methodology. To achieve this goal, general scientific methods of theoretical and empirical levels were used: analysis and generalization of scientific and theoretical bases of research, logical method, interview method. Scientific novelty. The article covers for the first time the creative activity of O. Kolosok as a soloist of the dance group of G. Veryovka Honored Ukrainian Folk Choir, as well as materials of interviews with O. Kolosok, which have not been published so far, have been put into scientific circulation. Conclusions. An important milestone in the artist's professional career was his work in the Ukrainian Folk Choir. As a performer, Oleksandr Kolosok impressed with his technical skill, virtuosity, and ability to create vivid stage images. For decades, he danced selflessly, gaining extensive experience, and later began to teach it to others, focusing on theoretical and practical aspects of the development of Ukrainian folk stage dance. It was the intense performing activity that became the basis on which Kolosok 's talent was formed as a teacher and scientist, an outstanding theorist of Ukrainian dance art.
