Abstract:. Modern technology makes human life style also changesduring the development of the era. The exchange of information from one place to another becomes easier not only for national scoped but also the international scope. Moreover, it makes the foreign culture can easily enter Indonesia, imitated by society and then give impact to the life style of the society including human’s behaviour. It can be said that there is a moral swing in Indonesia nowadays. Many young people are not really enthusiastic in keeping their own culture. They tend to imitate other cultures, behave inappropriately, use illegal drugs, do free sex, bully each other, make genk, scuffle, and even kill people. One of the reasons of this morality crisis is the exemplary crisis. Adults who are supposed to be role models for the younger generation even provide bad examples such as doing corruption, being selfish and do individualist practices of corruption, collusion and nepotism, mutual checks, doing violence such as grabbing, punching and other crimes. Therefore, the government makes effort to overcome the moral crisis through character education or Budi pekerti education. Basically character education is not new concept, Ki Hajdar Dewantara has designed character education since a long time through its principles, foundations, concepts and teachings about Tamansiswa. The principles and teaching can be implemented to toddlers, children, and adolescents until adults. Through the method of literature analysis, this paper seeks to examine and explore more deeply about the character education which designed according to the teaching of Ki HadjarDewantara. Character education designed according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara applied through basic and teaching of Tamansiswa. Basic Tamansiswa includes Panca Dharma that is Nature of universe, Independence, Culture, Nationality and Humanity. While Tamansiswa teaching includes Tri Ngo (ngerti, ngroso, lan nglakoni), Tri N (niteni, niroke, nambahi), Tri Hayu) and most importantly the Trilogi Kepemimpinan (ing ngarso sung tulodho, ing madyo mangun karso, tutwuri handayani), all of them are implemented in Tri Pusat Pendidikan  (family, school and community).

This paper compares nutrition intakes and nutritional status of school children from two public schools in neighbouring communities of Ghana with different school feeding programmes. One hundred and eighty-two caregiver and school-age child pairs were interviewed concerning socio-demographics, dietary practices, and food security in a cross-sectional design. The independent t-test was used to compare the contribution of the publicly funded Ghana School Feeding Programme and private School Feeding Programme meals to total daily nutrient intakes of the children. Predictors of nutritional status of the children were assessed using logistic regression models. The private school feeding programme contributed more energy, protein, and micronutrients as compared to the government school feeding programme. About two-thirds (67.0%) of the children were stunted, underweight, or anaemic. Child’s age was a significant predictor of stunting. Undernutrition was prevalent among children from both programmes. Improved quality of diet from the feeding programmes may contribute to addressing malnutrition in these children.

Corona virus disease 2019 has become a current pandemic and many countries have been affected by it. At the end of January 2020, the WHO Emergency Committee declared a global health emergency state as COVID-19 confirmed cases have been increasing internationally. Since then, online learning has been actively implemented globally including Malaysia. This research is purely qualitative where data was collected via online interview with four willing secondary students. The findings highlight that there are a few weaknesses regarding online learning. Poor internet connection contributes to one of the weaknesses in online learning in Malaysia. Furthermore, not understanding teachers’ teaching is also one of the limitations of online education. Online learning limitations might vary depending on the students' technological capability to access online sites and use computers. These limitations are more evident for young children or school-age students who may not have online access. Although online learning has its flaws however it comprises several strengths too. Online learning enables the students to have flexible time in participating in the lesson. Avoiding from the virus is the next advantage of conducting online learning. Although schools are closed however students still could get connected with their teachers through several devices like computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. Hence, online learning is deemed to be the best alternative to continue the learning process and at the same time protects young learners from this deadly virus.

This paper presents an analysis of the perceptions of public spaces by megalopolis’ residents. The research aim was to reveal the degree and criteria of urban public spaces’ attractiveness (shopping and entertainment centers and park zones), as well as to identify demographic and socio-economic determinants of residents’ preferences. Based on the results of a survey of Yekaterinburg residents (N=3570), the authors draw up the attractiveness rating of the objects on the city map where the positions are justified in terms of basic characteristics of focal public spaces (accessibility, multifunctionality, "service" equipment, etc.) and propose a typology of public spaces’ consumers according to a variety of objects needed for multiple public activities. The authors reveal explicit disparities in the practices of public spaces’ use.  Choices of shopping and entertainment centers depend on respondent’s age and wealth status. Choices of recreation facilities depend on respondent’s occupation, education level, wealth status, whether respondents have pre-school or school-age children. The more active users of one type of urban public spaces tend to use the other one more frequently. The practical significance of the obtained results is connected with the possibility to use them for the improvement of certain objects and for municipal strategic planning and development in general. Acknowledgment. The study was part of the research project “Formation of the concept of prospective development of community areas of the municipal settlement “the city of Yekaterinburg” until 2035 (municipal contract № 15/2016-2 dated November 17th, 2016). The work was supported by the regulation no. 211 of the Government of the Russian Federation, contract no. 02.A03.21.0006.
