Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan menginterprestasi (1) Kompetensi guru di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros, dan (2) Strategi pengembangan kompetensi guru di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros. Data dikumpul melalui dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil rekapitulasi penilaian kinerja guru di SDN 22 Maros selama tahun 2017-2018 dari jumlah guru sebanyak empat belas orang menunjukkan bahwa pada (1) kompetensi pedagogik, semua guru masuk dalam kategori tinggi.  (2) kompetensi kepribadian, semua guru masuk dalam kategori tinggi. (3) Kompetensi sosial, terdapat delapan guru yang telah masuk dalam kategori tinggi dan enam guru yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. (4) Kompetensi profesional, terdapat sepuluh guru yang telah masuk dalam kategori tinggi dan empat guru yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. Strategi yang digunakan kepala sekolah SDN 22 Maros dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru adalah kegiatan Supervisi khusus, Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) dan Pendidikan Pelatihan (Diklat). This study aims to determine, analyze and interpret: (1) Teacher competencies in SDN 22 Maros Regency; and (2) Development strategies of teacher competencies in SDN 22 Maros Regency. This research is a descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SDN 22 Maros Regency. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers at SDN 22 Maros Regency. Data collected through documentation and interviews. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion stages. The results showed that the recapitulation of teacher performance appraisal at SDN 22 Maros during 2017-2018 from a total of fourteen teachers showed that in: (1) pedagogical competence, all teachers are in the high category; (2) personality competence, all teachers are in the high category; (3) social competence, there are eight teachers who have been included in the high category and six teachers who are in the medium category; (4) Professional competence, there are ten teachers who have been included in the high category and four teachers who are in the medium category. The strategy used by the principal of Public Elementary School 22 Maros Regency in developing teacher competencies is through Special Supervision, Teacher Working Group (KKG) and Training Education (Diklat) activities.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the partial and simultan influence of pedagogical competence, professional, and work motivation on teacher performance.Survey method using correlational quantitative approach is employed with a sample of 68 teachers, which constitutes the population.The data is analysed using descriptive analysis, and regression analysis to test R Square and hypothesis test of partial and simultaneous.From the analysis result and test, it can be concluded that there are positive and significant influence of pedagogic, professionalcompetence, work motivation on teacher performance partial and simultaneously represented by the regression equation Ŷ= 14,554 + 0,661 X1 + 0,477 X2 + 0,581 X3.This proves that the higher pedagogic competence, professional competence, and work motivation will impact ona higher teacher's performancein achieving educational goals. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisispengaruh kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru secara parsial dan simultan. Menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional.Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 68 orang guru, diambil dengan teknik sampling jenuh (sensus). Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif regresi linier untuk menguji hipotesis secara parsial dan simultan. Dari hasil analisis dan pengujian  diperoleh kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru  secara parsial dan simultan, dengan  persamaan regresi Ŷ= 14,554 + 0,661 X1 + 0,477 X2 + 0,581 X3. Ini membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, dan motivasi kerja, maka kinerja guru juga tinggi dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan.

The supervisor’s role is quite essential to support developing teacher competencies, and also to improve their professionalism. In this article, the author formulates the problem: what is the role of supervisors in continuing professionalism development for teachers?. The purpose of this article is to describe strategies executed by supervisor on carrying out the academic task related to improving teacher’s pedagogical and professional competence. The results appertained to their role of improving teacher’s competence both pedagogically and professionally can be accomplished through academic supervision competencies. Other observable strategies are developing scientific publication, creating learning tools or teaching aids (innovative works); modifying practicum and self-development tools came under education and training, and KKG.

A leader must have a good competence to successfully bring the organization for its intended purpose. If a led organization is engaged in education field, of course a leader must also have a competence that qualified both skill, science, and experience in the field of education. However, related to that, it also found some problems about leadership, namely the leader is less exemplary discipline, less competent in the field, less provide guidance, less coordination and unable to make their own decisions. Based on the above things, this study aims to find out how the leadership in the field of basic education (DIKDAS) is, what factors affect the leadership in the field of basic education (DIKDAS), and what effort are being made to improve the leadership in the field of basic education (DIKDAS) at Dinas Pendidikan Balangan district. The location of research is at the office of Dinas Pendidikan Balangan district. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a qualitative description type. Data collection technique used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The source of data is amounted to 14 people. After the data collected, then analyzed through 3 stages, namely data editing, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusion. The result of the research indicate that the leadership in the field of basic education (DIKDAS) has not been entirely good. This can be seen from the side of responsibility that is less independent as a leader and does not have the desire to excel. On the other hand, the leader in the field of basic education (DIKDAS) is considered to have capacity in the from of intelligence, speech and judgment ability. From the aspect of achievement is an appropriate bachelor degree and a quite estensive knowledge. From the aspect of responsibility is a quite good initiative, diligent, tenacious, and confident. From the aspect of participation, that is active, have high sociability, cooperative, and able to adjust. The factors that influence leadership are the expertise and employee loyalty to leader, education and training experience, and the leader’s intelligence. Then, the effort to improve the leadership is delegation of tasks to subordinates, the approach by the leadership to subordinates and training as well as discussion. The suggestions to improve the leadership in the field of basic education (DIKDAS) are the leaders need to be a motivator for subordinates, have the attitude of independence, one of them is able to make their own decisions that precarious, and have the desire to excel in order to spur achievement. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan manajerial Kepala Madrasah dan kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Datarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dan informannya adalah kepala madrasah, komite madrasah, guru, dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara berupa in-depth interview dan Focus Group Discusion. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengorganisasikan data, menjabarkan ke dalam bentuk unit-unit, menyusun ke dalam pola, memilih data yang penting dan membuat kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan dengan reduksi data, sajian data/ display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kepala Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Datarang memiliki kemampuan manajerial yang cukup baik. Kinerja guru di madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Datarang cukup bagus dan dapat dilihat dari 4 aspek yaitu Pertama kinerja yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi pedagogik. Kedua, kinerja guru yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi professional. Ketiga, kinerja guru yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi kepribadian Keempat, kinerja guru yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi sosial.  Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Manajerial dan Kinerja Guru ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to determine the principals’ Managerial Capabilities and teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah Datarang.This research was qualitative research, and the informant of this research are the principal, school committee, teachers, and students. The data collection techniques was collected through observation, documentation, and interviews in in-depth interviews form and Focus Group Discussion. The data analysis techniques was done by data organize, described in the units form, arranged into a pattern, selected the important data and made conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings by reduction of the data, the data display and  decided the conclusions. The result of the reseacrh showed that the head of Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Datarang has a good managerial ability. The teachers’ performance in the Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Datarang was good and it can be viewed from four aspects: First the performance that related to the pedagogical competence. Second, the teachers’ performance  that related to professional competence. Third, the teachers’ performance that related to personal competence. Fourth, the teacher performance that related to social competence.  Keywords: Managerial Capabilities and Teachers’ Performance

Research Objective to analyze how much influence pedagogic competence, professional competence on the performance of Public Middle Schools in Padang Pariaman Regency. Quantitative research uses data analysis using a regression correlation. The results of the study: (1) The effect of pedagogic competence on performance is 46,8%, (2) The influence of professional competence on performance is 50,3%. (3) There is a positive effect jointly between pedagogical competence and professional competence in teacher performance by 53%. Conclusion of the study: Pedagogic competence, professional competence influence teacher performance in Padang Pariaman Regency.

The purpose of this study was to determine the strategies of principals in Madrasahs, to determine the level of work discipline of teaching personnel in Madrasahs, to determine the strategies of principals in increasing the discipline of teaching personnel in Madrasahs, to describe improvement steps in improving the discipline of teaching personnel in Madrasahs. The literature review used to analyze the results of this study, namely the strategy and principal and discipline of the workforce of education and the strategy of the Principal in improving the discipline of teaching workforce. The method used in this research is descriptive-analysis using a qualitative approach, data collection techniques with the stages of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis procedures, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the study, the principal's strategy in improving the work discipline of education personnel in Madrasahs by giving examples of good character traits, providing motivation, giving reward and punishment, making rules of order, developing performance. Steps to improve the principal in improving discipline in the workforce of education in Madrasahs by means of motivating members, members of study permits, providing basic disciplinary training, member reward and punishment, the use of information technology. In conclusion, the strategy to improve the work discipline of education personnel at MTs Negeri 2 Medan is by giving examples of good character traits, providing motivation, giving rewards and punishments, making rules of order, developing performance.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of SKUA program management in shaping the religious character of students at MA Ummul Quro Putri Pamekasan. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis type. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data collected was analyzed with the stages of data condensation activities, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the research that have been conducted show that: First, the process of implementing the SKUA program management in shaping the religious character of students at MA Ummul Quro Putri consists of five stages, planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. Second, the impact obtained is to deepen students scientific treasures, slowly students begin to learn daily practices with discipline, each student begins ti be directed ti have a religious character and students begin to get used ti religius attitudes and traits. Third, the inhibiting factor is the lack of awareness of students how important the SKUA program is in daily life, student personal differences and different environmental factors have a negative impact on the formation of students religious character. Solution that can be done to overcome these inhibiting factors are by firt identifying the problems faced by students and then looking for solutions, providing sanctions related to religion, and providing special guidance to overcome problems that cannot be solved by sanctions.

This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between the pedagogical competence of Islamic Education Teachers and the learning motivation of students in Islamic Education subjects in inclusive schools at SMP IT Nidaul Hikmah, Salatiga in the academic year 2018/2019. The subjects in this study were 62 students of class VII B and VIII B including students with special needs with disabilities and learning difficulties (slow learner). This approach of research is a quantitative correlation. The method used to obtain data or information by using a questionnaire or questionnaire sheet. The analysis used in this research is using descriptive analysis and the product-moment correlation hypothesis testing which is assisted by the application program SPSS version 25.00. The results of this study showed that the pedagogical competence of Islamic Education teachers in the very low category was 3.2%, the low category was 27.9%, the moderate category was 48.4% and the high category was 20.9%. The learning motivation of students in the Islamic Education subject in the very low category was 27.4%, the low category was 27.4%, the moderate category was 33.9% and the high category was 11.3%. The correlation between Islamic Education teacher pedagogical competence and learning motivation in the Islamic Education subjects based on the calculation of the correlation stated that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted with the value of > r table with 0.495 > 0.244. Indicated that the correlation between the Islamic Education teacher pedagogical competence and students learning motivation in Islamic Education subjects has a positive moderate category and significant correlation.

This research shows that the implementation of Teacher Performance Appraisal in schools has been implemented but has never been followed up by analyzing the results. Analysis is very important for schools to compile a Sustainable Professional Development program for teachers and as a tool for evaluating the implementation of Teacher Performance Appraisals in order to achieve better education quality. From the results of observations and interviews, there were assessors who were not objective, the value of Teacher Performance Appraisal with certified physical evidence was not yet appropriate. The average result of the Subject Teacher Performance Appraisal is 87% (good) and the Counseling Guidance is 88% (good). Average Teacher Performance Appraisal in pedagogic competence subjects 83% (good) and Counseling Guidance 97% (very good), subject teacher personality competence 98% (very good) and Counseling Guidance 100% (very good), social competence of subject teachers lesson 86% (good) and Counseling Guidance 83% (good), as well as the professional competence of subject teachers 83% (good) and Counseling Guidance 79% (good). However, there are several competency indicators for subject teachers whose mastery is 75% (sufficient) and Counseling Guidance 50% (moderate). Even though the results of the Teacher Performance Assessment have been good, the principal needs to control the implementation and reporting so that the results are more credible, can be accounted for, not only for aborting obligations as well as one of the requirements for submitting credit scores for teachers.

This study aims to reveal (1) the effect of pedagogic competence on teacher performance (2) the effect of work commitment on teacher performance. This research was conducted at public elementary schools in the city of Banda Aceh. The study population was all public elementary school teachers in the city of Banda Aceh totaling 481 people. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula, with a total sample of 218 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire filled out by respondents from the teacher. The research analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with Path analysis. The results showed that: (1) Pedagogical Competence had a significant and significant influence on Teacher Performance, it was shown that ρ51 = 0.252 (2) Work Commitment had a significant influence on Teacher Performance, it was indicated that ρ52 = 0.566 6) The teacher performance model the findings of this study explained that the increase teacher performance can be done through pedagogic competence, work commitment, which will directly lead to better teacher performance.
