At this time, the world is facing the phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the government has taken a policy of Social Distancing, including policies in the field of education through the implementation of learning from home, physical distancing, study from home. the application of the zoom meeting method in the study from home process can provide effective learning such as related feedback, combining collaborative independent learning activities, and personalizing learning based on the needs of students using question and answer by communicating directly with educators. By still following the rules of Social Distancing. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence in the application of the zoom meeting method in the study from home process on the social studies learning outcomes for class VIII in SMP Shidqia Islamic School, this research method uses the experiment with the form of Pretest and Posttest assessment. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a Positive effect of using zoom meeting media on Social Sudies learning outcomes for class VIII in SMP Shidqia Islamic School, the percentage of the influence of the independent variable (Zoom Meeting) on the dependent variable (IPS Learning Outcomes) called the coefficient of determination / R square (R2) is 0.264, which implies that the influence of Zoom Meeting online learning media on social studies learning outcomes is 26.4 %.

This research aims to determine the effect of smartphone usage and discipline of learning on social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kalibagor, Banyumas Regency. This research is a research with a quantitative approach and is a type of correlational research. The population in this study were 224 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kalibagor and took a sample of 70 students from the total population through simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique was done using a questionnaire and documentation. The results of this research was a positive and significant influence simultaneously between the smartphones usage and discipline of learning on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kalibagor based on the results of the F test with a value  >  (37.414> 3.13). The smartphones usage and discipline of learning simultaneously has an effect on social studies learning outcomes by 52.8% and the remaining 47.2% is influenced by other variables or factors.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan smartphone dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Kalibagor Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan merupakan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kalibagor yang berjumlah 224 dan mengambil sampel sebanyak 70 peserta didik dari total populasi melalui teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan smartphone dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kalibagor berdasarkan hasil uji F dengan nilai  >  (37,414 > 3,13). Pemanfaatan smartphone dan disiplin belajar secara simultan atau bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS sebesar 52,8% dan sisanya 47,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel atau faktor lain.

This study to determine the effect of parental social support on class VIII student achievement in social studies subjects at SMP Angkasa Halim Perdana Kusuma, East Jakarta.The research method used is to use an associative quantitative method. The techniques of taking sample using random sampling with a sample of 68 students in Angkasa Junior High School Halim Perdana Kusuma in East Jakarta. The data used is the regression correlation analysis. It’s can be seen from the calculation of simple ANOVA. Significant correlation coefficient tests were obtained from the model summary table.This means Ho is rejected.  While the correlation coefficient of determination from the model summary table namely R square = 0.990 which means that 99 % of the variation in the social studies achievement variable is influenced by social support from parents. From analysis results is HO rejected. Thus "parents' social support has a positive result on reading achievement".

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning readiness and learning motivation together on the learning outcomes of social studies subjects for class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tarumajaya Bekasi. In addition, researchers hope that readers, especially schools, can pay attention to student learning readiness and student motivation to improve learning outcomes. The method used in analyzing this research is a quantitative research method. The population in this study was 400 of all class VIII students for the 2020/2021 academic year and a sample of 92 students. Through correlation calculations obtained rx1y 0.740 and rx2y 0.748, which means there is a high correlation between X1 to Y and X2 to Y. Analysis of the coefficient of determination obtained 0.900 This shows that the contribution of variables X1 (Readiness to Learn) and X2 (Learning Motivation) to variable Y (Results learning) by 90% and the remaining 10% is determined by other factors not examined in this study. The multiple linear regression coefficient shows the constant value a = 11.726 b1 = 0.417 and b2 = 0.445. Testing the statistical hypothesis obtained by the results obtained F arithmetic > F table (401.052 > 3.100) shows that simultaneously Learning Readiness and Learning Motivation together affect Learning Outcomes. While the variable t test X1 t count = 16.106 > t table = 1.990. Shows that there is an effect of learning readiness on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tarumajaya Bekasi. And the t-test of the X2 variable tcount = 17.617 > ttable = 1.990. Shows that there is an influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tarumajaya Bekasi

En el presente informe se exponen los principales resultados de una investigación que se sitúa en el campo de la superación profesional de los docentes. Se origina a partir de necesidades no cubiertas en la asignatura de Estudios Sociales y su Didáctica, en relación con la utilización de blogs docentes. Se plantea una caracterización de la referida asignatura, se propone y fundamenta una alternativa orientada fundamentalmente, a la utilización de blogs educativos, como parte del diseño metodológico de la referida asignatura. En la investigación, se parte del valor indiscutible de la informática para elevar los resultados en el proceso de formación de los estudiantes, por su impacto en la vida socio económica y cultural. Para ello, se tomaron en cuenta los criterios de 80 estudiantes, 26 docentes y 10 directivos del Ministerio de Educación, sobre el uso de los blogs y su percepción sobre su valor para lograr el desarrollo de los procesos de aprendizaje. En vista de que los blogs son espacios para la manipulación de información y conductos de búsqueda que proporcionan un aprendizaje más independiente y admiten una mayor intervención en las actividades grupales, suele acrecentar el interés y la estimulación de los educandos. Palabras Clave: blog educativos, estudios sociales, didáctica   ABSTRACT   This paper presents the main results of an investigation at the professional development level of teachers.  It originates from unmet needs in the Social Studies subject and their didactics, in relation to the utilization of teacher blogs.  A characterization of the subject is proposed and an alternative, oriented towards the utilization of educational blogs, is founded, as part of the methodological design of Social Sciences. In the research, the beginning point is the unquestionable value of Informatics to improve the learning outcomes of students, for its impact on life, socioeconomically and culturally.  With that purpose, criteria were taken from 80 students,26 teachers, and 10 authorities from the Ministry of Education about the use of blogs and their perception on their value to develop the learning processes.    Because blogs are spaces for the manipulation of information and search channels that provide a more independent learning and admit great intervention in group activities, interest and stimulation are usually increased in students.   Keywords: educational blogs, Social Studies, Didactics.   Recibido: septiembre de 2015Aprobado: noviembre de 2015

The problem of classroom action research is the low learning outcomes of VC grade 164 students in Pekanbaru. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes of VC grade 164 students in Pekanbaru by applying the cooperative method of numbered heads together (NHT). The results of the research and class actions of the Social Studies Course conducted at the VC class SDN 164 Pekanbaru students concluded; Learning outcomes in the first cycle have increased compared to conventional learning. Pre-cycle learning outcomes are an average of 50.25 or sufficient categories; in cycle I, learning outcomes reached an average of 71.75 or in the Good category; in cycle II it increased again by 80.25 or in the Good category; Prasiklus classical completeness is 10 students (25.00%.); the first cycle is 27 students (67.50%); and in the second cycle were 38 students (95.00%). Students who have not been completed are remedial. Observers observed that VC grade 164 students at Pekanbaru Pekanbaru seemed to understand the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative Method. They learn and understand shared material in heterogeneous groups of 4-5 students. Based on the results of improved learning studies, the application of the cooperative method of numbered heads together (NHT) succeeded in correcting the problem of the low social studies learning outcomes in VC Class SDN 164 Pekanbaru 2017/2018 Academic Year.

The rapid and widespread of COVID-19 has caused severe multifaceted effects on society but differently in women and men, thereby preventing the achievement of gender equality (the 5th sustainable development goal of the United Nations). This study, using data of 355 teleworkers collected in Hanoi (Vietnam) during the first social distancing period, aims at exploring how (dis)similar factors associated with the perception and the preference for more home-based telework (HBT) for male teleworkers versus female peers are. The findings show that 56% of female teleworkers compared to 45% of male counterparts had a positive perception of HBT within the social distancing period and 63% of women desired to telework more in comparison with 39% of men post-COVID-19. Work-related factors were associated with the male perception while family-related factors influenced the female perception. There is a difference in the effects of the same variables (age and children in the household) on the perception and the preference for HBT for females. For women, HBT would be considered a solution post-COVID-19 to solve the burden existing pre-COVID-19 and increasing in COVID-19. Considering gender inequality is necessary for the government and authorities to lessen the adverse effects of COVID-19 on the lives of citizens, especially female ones, in developing countries.

BACKGROUND The availability of large-scale and fine-grained aggregated mobility data has allowed researchers to observe the dynamic of social distancing behaviors at high spatial and temporal resolutions. Despite the increasing attentions paid to this research agenda, limited studies have focused on the demographic factors related to mobility and the dynamics of social distancing behaviors has not been fully investigated. OBJECTIVE This study aims to assist in the design and implementation of public health policies by exploring the social distancing behaviors among various demographic groups over time. METHODS We combined several data sources, including mobile tracking data and geographical statistics, to estimate visiting population of entertainment venues across demographic groups, which can be considered as the proxy of social distancing behaviors. Then, we employed time series analyze methods to investigate how voluntary and policy-induced social distancing behaviors shift over time across demographic groups. RESULTS Our findings demonstrate distinct patterns of social distancing behaviors and their dynamics across age groups. The population in the entertainment venues comprised mainly of individuals aged 20–40 years, while according to the dynamics of the mobility index and the policy-induced behavior, among the age groups, the extent of reduction of the frequency of visiting entertainment venues during the pandemic was generally the highest among younger individuals. Also, our results indicate the importance of implementing the social distancing policy promptly to limit the spread of the COVID-19 infection. However, it should be noticed that although the policy intervention during the second wave in Japan appeared to increase the awareness of the severity of the pandemic and concerns regarding COVID-19, its direct impact has been largely decreased could only last for a short time. CONCLUSIONS At the time we wrote this paper, in Japan, the number of daily confirmed cases was continuously increasing. Thus, this study provides a timely reference for decision makers about the current situation of policy-induced compliance behaviors. On the one hand, age-dependent disparity requires target mitigation strategies to increase the intention of elderly individuals to adopt mobility restriction behaviors. On the other hand, considering the decreasing impact of self-restriction recommendations, the government should employ policy interventions that limit the resurgence of cases, especially by imposing stronger, stricter social distancing interventions, as they are necessary to promote social distancing behaviors and mitigate the transmission of COVID-19. The problem in this research is the low social studies learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to improve the social studies learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN 006 Sencano Jaya, by applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning model. The hypothesis in this study is that if the cooperative learning model (STAD) is applied, it can improve the social studies learning outcomes of students of SDN 006 Sencano Jaya class. The results showed that the teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting showed an average of 70.83%, in the first cycle of the second meeting an average of 83.33%. In the second cycle, the first meeting was 87.50%, in the second cycle the second meeting had an average of 95.83%. Teacher activity in this study increased. Student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting with an average of 58.33% in the first cycle of the second meeting was 70.83%, in the second cycle of the first meeting an average of 75.00% in the second cycle of the second meeting with an average of 91.66%. Student activity in this study also increased. The initial data of social studies learning results showed that only 11 students completed with a percentage of 40.74% who did not complete 16 people or 59.25% of students who obtained a basic score above the minimum completeness criteria standard (KKM). In the UH I who completed 15 people or the percentage of 55.55% who did not complete 12 people with a percentage of 44.41%. At UH II, 24 people or 88.88% who did not complete were only 3 students or with a percentage of 11.11%. Social studies learning outcomes in this study are increasing, so with the application of the Cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD).

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes in fifth grade students of Inpres 4/82 elementary school Walian through the Implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Divission Model. This study uses a classroom action research method consisting of 4 stages: planning, implementing / acting, observing and reflecting. Then to determine student learning outcomes can be calculated using the mastery learning formula. The results obtained in the first cycle reached 65.4% while in the second cycle the results obtained reached 87.8%. Thus it can be concluded that by applying the Student Achievement Achievement Divission model can improve the social learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Inpres 4/82 Walian..

ABSTRAK : Penilaian ini berisi proses pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas VI yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 18 Kendari. Tujuan dan karya tulis ini, adalah membuktikanbahwa kegiatan bermain dan membuat display dapat memberikan keberhasilan pada proses pembelajaran siswa dalam rangka pencapaian mastery learning. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melibatkan 12 siswa kelas VI yang ada di SD Negeri 18 Kendari yaitu siswa kelas VI untuk tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Alat penilaian yang digunakan berbentuk tes dan non tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Antara lain siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang saling berkaitan. Faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran siswa yakni mengamati kelancaran pembelajaran, suasana dan aktivitas pembelajaran serta hasil belajar siswa. Rubrik penilaian dilakukan pada saat siswa terlibat dalam kegiatan kelompok ketiga membuat display dan melakukan permainan. Rubrik bertujuan untuk melihat keterampilan-keterampilan yang diharapkan pada paradigma pembelajaran dalam pedoman KTSP yaitu,1) learning to know, 2) Learning to do, 3) leraning to be, dan 4) learning to live togather telah dicapai oleh siswa. Perbandingan hasil pre-test, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III, serta rubrik penilaian saat pembuatan display dan permainan menunjukan bahwa keterampilan yang diharapkan dari setiap kriteria penilaian dapat dilalui dengan nilai yang baik oleh semua kelompok. Meskipun penilaian rubrik dilakukan dalam kelompok, namun keterampilan itu tetap menjadi tanggung jawab setiap individu siswa. Hal penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan tehnik permainan dan display dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS karena suasana belajar dirasakan menyenangkan dan siswa lebih aktif menyelesaikan tugas serta terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Prestasi Belajar, STADABSTRACT: This assessment contains the social studies learning process for grade VI students conducted at SD Negeri 18 Kendari. The purpose and this paper, is to prove that playing activities and making displays can provide success in the learning process of students in order to achieve mastery learning. In this study the authors involved 12 grade VI students in 18 Public Elementary School Kendari, namely grade VI students for the 2014/2015 school year. Assessment tools used in the form of tests and non-tests. This research was conducted in three cycles. Among other cycles I, cycle II and cycle III is a series of interrelated activities. The factors examined in this study were the students' learning processes, namely observing the smooth learning, the atmosphere and learning activities and student learning outcomes. The assessment rubric is done when students are involved in third group activities making displays and playing games. The rubric aims to look at the skills expected in the learning paradigm in the SBC guidelines, namely, 1) learning to know, 2) learning to do, 3) learning to be, and 4) learning to live togather has been achieved by students. Comparison of pre-test results, cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III, as well as the assessment rubric when making displays and games shows that the skills expected from each assessment criteria can be passed with good grades by all groups. Although the rubric assessment is done in groups, the skill remains the responsibility of each individual student. This study shows that the application of game and display techniques can improve social studies learning outcomes because the learning atmosphere is felt to be fun and students are more active in completing assignments and there is an increase in learning achievement. Keywords: Activities, Learning Achievement, STAD
