The objective of this study was to find a hypsometric relationship model capable of estimating the height of trees in unequal forest fragment, testing the efficiency of stratification by species, ecological group and diametric class. In the unequal forest fragment (2.2 ha) belonging to the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica / RJ, a census was carried out, botanical identification of trees with a diameter ≥ 5 cm, being this variable measured, as well as their respective height total. The data were stratified into ecological group, species and diametric class, and then ten traditional models of hypsometric relation were adjusted for the general database and for each stratum. The significance of the models was evaluated by the F test and the t test, with 95% probability. Trends of the estimates were verified with graphical analysis of the residues, being also observed the coefficient of determination (R2 aj.) and standard error of the estimate in percentage (Syx%). By means of the regression parameters, the Graybill models identity test was subsidized. The Trorey model was chosen and it was observed that the stratification by species and ecological group made the adjustment more efficient. Stratification in diametric class showed no gain.

Objective: Study was aimed to see the effects of hypothyroidism on GFR as a renal function. Material and methods: Total of Fifty-eight patients were included in the study. Out of those forty-eight patients were female and the rest were male. Out of fifty eight patients, fifty three patients were of thyroid cancer in which hypothyroidism was due to discontinuation of thyroxine before the administration of radioactive iodine for Differentiated thyroid cancer. Moreover, remaining five patients were post radioactive iodine treatment (for hyperthyroidism) hypothyroid. All of the patients were above eighteen years of age with TSH value > 30µIU/ml. Pregnant and lactating females were excluded.Renal function tests (urea/creatinine, creatinine clearance) and serum electrolytes followed by Tc-99m-DTPA renal scan for GFR assessment (GATES’ method) were carried out in all subjects twice during the study, One study during hypothyroid state (TSH > 30 µIU/ml) and other during euthyroid state (TSH between 0.4 to 4µ IU/ml). The results of Student’s t-test showed significant difference in renal functions (Urea, creatinine, creatinine clearance, GFR values) in euthyroid state and hypothyroid state (p-value <0.05). RESULTS: In case of creatinine the paired t test reveal the mean 1.014±0.428, with standard error of 0.669 within 95% confidence interval, for creatinine clearance 80.11±14.12 with standard error of 1.94 within 95% confidence intervals, for urea the mean 28±12.13 with standard error of 1.607 within 95% confidence intervals and for GFR for individual kidney is 38.056±8.56 with standard error of 1.3717 within 95% confidence interval. Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) is an alternative method in structural modeling using alternating least squares. GSCA can be used for the complex analysis including multigroup. GSCA can be run with a free software called GeSCA, but in GeSCA there is no multigroup moderation test to compare the effect between groups. In this research we propose to use the T test in PLS for testing moderation Multigroup on GSCA. T test only requires sample size, estimate path coefficient, and standard error of each group that are already available on the output of GeSCA and the formula is simple so the user does not need a long time for analysis.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, company size and leverage on Islamic Social Reporting on Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in the 2014-2018 period with the board of commissioners as a moderating variable. The main problem in this study is how much influence the profitability of the ISR is calculated through return on assets (ROA), namely the ratio between net income and total assets, liquidity to ISR calculated through the current ratio (CR), namely the ratio between current assets with current debt, the size of the company against ISR calculated by the natural logarithm of total assets, the effect of leverage on ISR calculated through the debt to assets rasio (DAR) and the board of commissioners as a moderating variable measured by the number of sharia board of commercial banks. The sampling technique using purposive sampling and obtained 7 company samples from a total of 14 population of Muamalat Indonesia Bank, BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah Bank, Mandiri Syariah Bank, Mega Syariah Bank, Syariah Bank Bukopin, BCA Syariah Bank. This type of research used in this study is quantitative. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of finansial and annual reports. Data analysis techniques that researchers use are descriptive statistical analysis, classic assumption tests, Modereted Regression Analysis (MRA), partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (f test), and coefficient of determination (R test). The R test of this study shows that the overall contribution of the independent variables, namely Profitability, Liquidity, Firm Size and Leverage to the dependent variable, namely ISR which is moderated by the Board of Commissioners variable is 70%, while 30% is determined by other variables not examined in this study. The F test of this study shows that simultaneously profitability, liquidity, firm size and leverage have a positive effect on ISR. The T test shows that profitability, liquidity, company size and leverage partially affect the ISR. The results of the moderation test are only liquidity and company size which are well moderated by the size of the board of commissioners in conducting ISR disclosures.
