ABSTRAK Perhatian pemerintah yang lebih tertuju pada pembangunan fisik dengan mengabaikan kearifan lokal mengakibatkan Indonesia mulai mengalami pergeseran tata nilai kehidupannya serta hilangnya karakter sebagai bangsa yang berbudaya. Terabaikannya nilai-nilai kearifan lokal berujung pada hilangnya semangat kebersamaan yang menjadi ciri bangsa Indonesia serta ancaman hilangnya kelestarian budaya yang ada disetiap daerah di nusantara. Hilangnya semangat kebersamaan dan persaudaraan menjadi bibit lahirnya konflik dan disintegrasi. Ancaman konflik horizontal di Indonesia sangat rentan terjadi setiap saat.Mulai dari konflik SARA, konflik elite akibat dari pertarungan suksesi politik dalam semua tingkatan suksesi, dan konflik sektarianisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis yaitu mengumpulkan fakta melalui observasi, literatur kepustakaan dan tulisan dimedia. Fakta menunjukkan bahwa konflik adalah bahaya laten yang dapat terjadi kapanpun. Apalagi, Indonesia adalah negara majemuk yang terdiridari berbagai suku dan budaya. Konflik yang terjadi salahsatunya diakibatkan ketidakmampuan pemerintah dalam mengelola potensi konflik melalui pembangunan komunikasi berbasis kearifan lokal.Konflik umumnya sangat potensial terjadi di daerah yang sedang menuju kota besar atau daerah tujuan berinvestasi. Sehingga seorang pemimpin khususnya kepala daerah dituntut memiliki communication skill terkait dengan seluruh bagian-bagian dalam kehidupan masyarakat di wilayahnya. Banyaknya konflik yang terjadi di suatu daerah mengindikasikan bahwa komunikasi yang berlandaskan kearifan lokal oleh kepala daerah kepada masyarakatnya belum secara maksimal atau bahkan tidak dilakukan. Penyertaan nilai kearifan lokal dalam membangun komunikasi dengan semua pihak akan membantu mencari solusi terhadap penanganan dan pencegahan konflik sehingga pembangunan dapat berjalan lancar menuju masyarakat yang modern tanpa kehilangan identitas lokalnya. Kata-Kata Kunci: Kearifan Lokal, Komunikasi, Pemerintah Daerah, Konflik Sosial dan Komunal.   ABSTRACT The government's focus on physical development by ignoring local wisdom has resulted in Indonesia beginning to experience a shift in the values ??of its life and the loss of character as a cultured nation. The neglect of the values ??of local wisdom leads to the loss of spirit of togetherness that characterizes the Indonesian nation and the threat of loss of cultural sustainability that exist in every region in the archipelago. The loss of the spirit of togetherness and brotherhood becomes the seed of the birth of conflict and disintegration. The threat of horizontal conflict in Indonesia is very vulnerable at all times. Ranging from SARA conflicts, elite conflicts resulting from political succession struggles at all levels of succession, and sectarian conflict. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive analysis approach that is collecting facts through observation, literature and literature writing dimedia. The facts show that conflict is a latent danger that can happen at any time. Moreover, Indonesia is a plural country consisting of various tribes and cultures. Conflict is one of the causes of the government's inability to manage the potential for conflict through the development of local wisdom-based communication. Conflict is generally very potential to occur in areas that are heading to big cities or destination areas to invest. So a leader, especially the head of the region is required to have communication skills related to all parts of community life in the region. The number of conflicts that occurred in a region indicates that communication based on local wisdom by the head of the region to the community has not been maximally or even not done. Inclusion of local wisdom values ??in building communication with all parties will help to find solutions to the handling and prevention of conflict so that development can run smoothly to modern society without losing its local identity. This paper will parse and explain the moderation movement initiated and mobilized by the Islamic organization Nahdhatul Ulama and radical movements conducted by Jama'ah Islamiyah. The focus of this paper will look at the Islamic philosophy and vision (NU and JI) on religious and political relations. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive analysis, that is data used in research and supported by theme-related literatures. The NU moderation movement is a manifestation of ideology formed in many spaces, one of the most important being culture. Contextualization and internalization of the interpretation of the sacred texts namely Al Quran and Hadith, birth concepts such as pluralism and endurance. The earthing of Islamic teachings in accordance with the concept of rahmatan lil alamin existing in the Qur'an can not be a left or right object (moderate). Islam is present as a religion that lays political and Islamic relations as two sides complement each other and maintain their own identity. Islam requires politics and state for the media to develop its teachings in all aspects of community life, while the state needs Islam to safeguard, guard and guide the life of the state and society. development is the most important aspect of community life in a country. The development of education is hampered by the way schools prioritize aspects of knowledge. Thus, boarding school-based education is needed as an educational institution that teaches knowledge, character, and skills. The existence of Islamic boarding school-based education as the oldest educational institution in Indonesia is still maintained by some people. For this reason, the importance of discussing the topic of the existence of Islamic boarding school-based education is to provide knowledge about how Islamic boarding schools show their existence in the development of community education. The purpose of this study was to determine the supporting factors of Islamic boarding schools in developing community education and the impact of the existence of Islamic boarding school-based education on the development of education for the community in Drenges Village. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. Research data obtained by interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the factors that support Islamic boarding schools in developing community education are the quality of teachers, the curriculum used, and learning activities. Meanwhile, the impact of the existence of boarding school-based education for the Drenges community is the increase in aspects of knowledge, skills, and the character of independence. The importance of the research results is to provide a view to modern society that Islamic boarding school-based institutions can encourage the development of community education.

Pengkalan Kuras, Langgam, Kuala Kampar, and Bunut Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency. Petalangan tribe has various cultures in the traditions of life. A good introduction to cultural heritage by the next generation can strengthen the nation's tradition in responding to the increasingly severe challenges of the future in this era of globalization. Cultural heritage in the form of moral-spiritual inheritance, one of which is obtained and known through the tradition of belief in the traditional proverb that exists in the community. The traditional adage in the Petalangan community, among others, explains the perspective on community life. This study aims to describe the style of language in the customary proverb that is related to the perspective of life in society. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The data source used was the book entitled Pepatah Adat, Istilah, dan Kosa kata Masyarakat Petalangan Kabupaten Pelalawan, Riau. There are 16 traditional proverbs used as data in this study, which then obtained 3 language styles based on sentence structure and 2 language styles based on meaning. By knowing and learning the style of language in this traditional proverb, the philosophy of life and aesthetic tastes of the people of Riau can be understood. Petalangan merupakan salah satu puak asli di Provinsi Riau yang bermukim di Kecamatan Pengkalan Kuras, Langgam, Kuala Kampar, dan Bunut, Kabupaten Pelalawan. Suku Petalangan ini memiliki beraneka kebudayaan dalam kehidupan. Pengenalan yang baik terhadap warisan kebudayaan oleh generasi penerus dapat memperteguh tradisi bangsa dalam menjawab tantangan masa depan yang semakin berat dalam era globalisasi ini. Warisan kebudayaan yang berupa warisan moral-spiritual, satu di antaranya didapatkan dan diketahui keyakinan terhadap pepatah adat yang ada pada masyarakat. Pepatah adat dalam masyarakat Petalangan antara lain menjelaskan cara pandang mengenai hidup bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa di dalam pepatah adat yang berhubungan dengan cara pandang dalam hidup bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakanpendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah buku Pepatah Adat, Istilah, dan Kosa kata Masyarakat Petalangan Kabupaten Pelalawan, Riau. Terdapat 16 pepatah adat yang dijadikan data dalam penelitian ini, yang kemudian diperoleh 3 gaya bahasa berdasarkan struktur kalimat dan 2 gaya bahasa berdasarkan makna. Dengan mengetahui dan mempelajari gaya bahasa dalam pepatah adat ini dapat dipahami filsafat hidup dan cita rasa estetika masyarakat Riau.

“Batombe” is an oral tradition of the Nagari Abai society at Sangir Batanghari Subdistrict, South Solok District, West Sumatra Province. Batombe is exchanging rhymes (berbalas pantun) which is performed as an entertainment on the wedding party (baralek). Batombe is identical with Great House (Rumah Gadang) Nagari Abai which is a unique house because it is a long traditional custom house that has many rooms. It reaches 21 rooms. The rhymes in batombe tends to deliver a feeling of lilting so the singers often drift into the atmosphere of the show. Therefore, as part of community life, batombe often cause a negative effects for the singers soul. This paper describes various things, such as: who batombe singer is; the time to perform this activity; the relationship between batombe and Great House (Rumah Gadang) at Nagari Abai; and the negative effects caused by batombe for the singers. This paper based on the fact that in oral tradition there is a close relationship between text and the speakers and text with context (place, time and atmosphere), a multidisciplinary approach is used in this paper, such as historical, sociological, anthropological, and psychological approach. The method used is descriptive analysis method.AbstrakBatombe adalah tradisi lisan masyarakat Nagari Abai, Kecamatan Sangir Batanghari, Kabupaten Solok Selatan, Provinsi Sumatra Barat. Batombe adalah tradisi berbalas pantun yang dilakukan sebagai hiburan pada pesta pernikahan (baralek). Batombe identik dengan rumah gadang Nagari Abai yang unik, yakni rumah adat dengan ruangan yang sangat panjang hingga 21 ruangan. Pantun-pantun batombe cenderung menyampaikan perasaan yang mendayu-dayu sehingga para pedendangnya sering hanyut ke dalam suasana pertunjukan. Oleh sebab itu, sebagai bagian dari kehidupan masyarakat, seringkali batombe menyebabkan efek negatif bagi (kejiwaan) para pedendangnya. Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan berbagai hal, seperti penutur batombe, waktu untuk melakukan batombe, hubungan batombe dengan rumah gadang di Nagari Abai, dan efek negatif yang ditimbulkan batombe bagi pedendangnya. Tulisan ini bertolak dari kenyataan bahwa pada tradisi lisan terdapat hubungan erat, antara lain seperti teks dengan penutur dan teks dengan konteks (tempat, waktu, dan suasana). Pendekatan multidisipliner digunakan pada tulisan ini, yakni pendekatan historis, sosiologis, antropologis, dan psikologis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif.

The research would look further at the representation of the human body in both Balinese and Javanese traditional houses and compared the function and meaning of each part. To achieve the research aim, which was to evaluate and compare the representation of the human body in Javanese and Balinese traditional houses, a qualitative method through literature and descriptive analysis study was conducted. A comparative study approach would be used with an in-depth comparative study. It would revealed not only the similarities but also the differences between both subjects. The research shows that both traditional houses represent the human body in their way. From the architectural drawing top to bottom, both houses show the same structure that is identical to the human body; head at the top, followed by the body, and feet at the bottom. However, the comparative study shows that each area represents a different meaning. The circulation of the house is also different, while the Balinese house is started with feet and continued to body and head area. Simultaneously, the Javanese house is started with the head, then continued to body, and feet area.

Think-Pair-Share technique is one of the cooperative learning strategies that promote student involvement in the classroom. This strategy makes students engaged in in-class activities such as discussions and provides opportunities to share their ideas with others. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share strategy in teaching speaking skill for secondary students. A qualitative method with a descriptive analysis was undertaken in this study. The sample was twenty students of eighth grade. The data was collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The data analysis technique used was presented in a descriptive form. The results indicated the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share technique during the learning process took place following the stages that have been stated in the learning process plan made by the teacher. Appreciation for the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share technique both from students is quite good. Students stated that they can overcome the constraints in the learning process of speaking activity through Think-Pair-Share.

Village funds are funds sourced from the APBN with the hope of increasing community independence. However, in its management, there are still problems, namely the unpreparedness of the community and village officials. Srirahayu Village is the village with the lowest IDM. In its management, village funds are mostly used for physical development. The research objective was to determine, measure, study, and formulate strategies for handling the level of readiness to use village funds to support community independence in Srirahayu Village. The method used is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires to 5 respondents (village officials). Techniques for measuring community readiness consist of No Awareness, Denial / Resistance, Vague awareness, Preplanning, Preparation, Initiation, Stabilization, Expansion / Confirmation, Community Ownership. The results showed the level of readiness to use village funds to support community independence in Srirahayu Village by using 5 readiness dimensions, namely general knowledge about village funds at a score of 5.2 (preparation), leadership at 6.2 (initiation), community climate on the score. 5.8 (preparation), knowledge of the use of village funds for community independence at a score of 5.8 (preparation), and resources at a score of 5.0 (preparation), so that the average readiness to use village funds for community independence in Srirahayu Village is a score of 5.6 or being in the preparation stage.

Competition in the restaurant and cafe industry at this time is very tight and competitive. This is marked by the growing number of new competitors in the world of Resto and Cafe. The restaurant and cafe industry as one of the food and beverage supply sectors that can support national and regional economic development. In Depok, there are 170 restaurants and cafes operating. The purpose of this study was to find out how the results of the implementation of Marketing Strategy During the Covid19 Pandemic at Like No Other Cafe Depok. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Using interviews, questionnaires and observations to related parties as data collection techniques. Thus, the data analysis techniques used were VRIO and PESTLE analysis to analyze the business environment, profitability analysis to evaluate the results of the implementation of the marketing mix program used and descriptive analysis to analyze planning, implementation and marketing strategy activities. The results showed that the strategy implemented by Like No Other Cafe during the Covid19 pandemic was considered effective so that Like No Other Cafe was still able to survive and generate income even though the income was only 50% of normal conditions.

Abstraks Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan umum yang biasanya ditemukan pada mahasiswa suku Sunda yang ada di jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris tahun ajaran 2013 dalam mengikuti matakuliah pronounciation, khususnya pada masalah bunyi mendesis. Adapun fokus penelitian ini ditujukan pada mahasiswa baru yang berlatarbelakang budaya Sunda dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui keakurasian pengucapan kata-kata yang mengandung unsur desisan/desahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti sebagai pengumpul data melakukan hal-hal sebagai berikut: melalui observasi langsung terhadap mahasiswa suku Sunda. Merekam atau mencatat cara pengucapan (pronounciation) dan menganalisis kesalahan-kesalahannya berdasrkan konsep Error Analisis dari beberapa sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa yang berasal dari Sunda pada umumnya bnyak melakukan kesalahan dalam pengucapan kata-kata yang mengandung desahan. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan koreksi dan masukan bagi para pelajar atau mahasiswa yang berasal dari Sunda.---Abstract This study is aimed to find out the errors that commonly made by Sundanese student of English Letters Department in the year 2013 who already taken a pronunciation class, in pronouncing a fricative sounds. The reseacher focuses on freshman student who has Sundanese cultural background to know their accuracy in pronouncing some fricative’s words. The reseacher uses qualitative method on writing his thesis. He also analyzes the collected data through descriptive analysis technique in order to reach the objective of the research. The reseacher involves himself to collect data by observing the respondents, recording their pronunciation and analyzing the error on their pronunciation based on theories of error analysis which are taken from some relevant references. On the conclusion, the reseacher finds that Sundanese student of English Letters Department are made some error on their pronunciation. Error of omission and error of addition are found on the vowels and consonant sound except the fricatives sound. While error of selection, is occurred both on the fricatives sound and the rest of sound. The reseacher also finds that overgeneralization is one of the reasons why the Sundanese student made errors on their pronunciation.

One of interpersonal soft skill is a skill of interpersonal communication; that is the focus of this research. The purpose of this paper are defined in two parts. First, to explore the interpersonal communication skills of the educational staff. Second, to recognize the power of this interpersonal communication. The research of this paper has been studied by means of qualitative method. The approach of this study is a sequences of in-depth interviews with 4 informants of each faculty with A credit for accreditation examination result. This research result finds that there are 3 interpersonal communication skills of educational staff area. Secondly, there are power of the interpersonal communication skill which have made improvement to service providing in the work unit. The results of this research also explain whether maintaining interpersonal relationship enhances  the service providing.
